Although not the fault of Centara, we would of liked to be warned that work by the Maldivian Government was taking place right opposite our room. This included diggers working into the night and early morning. I have video and photographic evidence. I would of liked to have been informed of this before our journey by Expedia, as other guests were warned and compensated in advance. We paid a premium, to be greeted by diggers and bulldozers

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were utterly spoiled at Centara Ras Fushi. As this was our second visit, they made us feel extra special with lots of little touches. Rajan had made a lovely “Welcome back” display using foliage on our bed and always made sure we had exactly what we needed in our mini bar. The check-in process was made very smooth by Nadia and, after a long journey, they had organised for early access to our room.

Centara Ras Fushi was just as beautiful as we remembered and the snorkelling here is fantastic due to the house reef. The water is so warm and the visibility so good, it is like swimming in a bath!

The food was excellent in all the restaurants and Mama’s smile and signature dance was always a welcome sight. The fact that he is still doing this 11 years after we first met him says a lot about his engaging personality and enthusiasm for his craft.

Husnee and his team ensured that we had the most memorable of stays at Centara Ras Fushi. He was very engaging and took time to speak with us. You can clearly see his passion shine through and his dedication to Centara. He told us how they look after and invest in their staff which was so lovely to hear.
People often ask me why we loved Centara Ras Fushi so much the first time we came here and there are lots of things I could say; the accommodation, the food, the colour of the water, but the main ingredient is the people. Thank you so much.

Our first time in the Maldives, and this resort completely took our breath away. From the crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand to the stunning villas and peaceful atmosphere, everything felt like pure paradise. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making our stay extra special, and the food was outstanding throughout. It exceeded every expectation and left us with unforgettable memories. Food and restrictions on all inclusive could be improved widely. There are restricted time for each meal and if you miss, you will not get anything until the next. They have snacks at around 4, mostly sugar and they would tell you that you can't bring it to your room. Reached there at 10 and the breakfast time had ended so they said we will just have to wait for lunch, early morning flight had got us very hungry so they ordered pizzas for us on complaining.
Everything felt like was restricted, and had to call the manager to bend their rules. The snorkeling kit had a time slot of when you can get it too, not because of weather but because that's when they operate, and if they are away between 12 and 4, so sad too bad, please come back at 4. We again had to talk to the manager so we don't waste a whole day not being able to snorkel because of their time restrictions.
Overall, it was good, but the restrictions on everything really got to us by the end.

Overall, it was a lovely resort with wonderful staff. We really enjoyed our stay. It's especially wonderful as it's adults only, so quiet & peaceful. Almost everything was fantastic.
Great things about the resort:
1) The staff were super nice & helpful
2) The room was great & clean with an amazing view
3) The pools were nice (water could have been a bit warmer)
4) Beach was nice
5) Though way oversalted, the food was really good. If they were to use 1/10 the amount of salt, the food would be perfect.
The only somewhat negative things were:
1) I did get a mild case of food poisoning, though the food was great aside from that & being very very very oversalted.
2) I didn't realize the jacuzzi tub on the deck of the overwater bungalow was not an actual hot tub but, rather, a tub you manually fill with water.
3) Though they have notices & signs all over about environmental steps they take, for some reason, every day there were machines running that really polluted the air. So, it was not enjoyable to try to relax at the beach & breathe in fumes. One day a worker was even driving some sort of machine that was putting a horrible thick smoke into the air.
4) One day, workers had a huge plastic pipe -one end in the ocean & the other on the beach in order to reroute sand & restructure the beach resulting in noise &, worst of all, destroying the beautiful clear water we had been enjoying-made the water super cloudy that day.
5) Requiring no shoes in a restaurant & game room awful.

The entertainment options were plenty and we definitely had fun as well as enough time to relax. The spa was very relaxing and well worth the price. Room spotless. Staff very friendly. Food amazing. More entertainment options would be nice. For example, someone to engage the audience during dance night at the bar and draw them to dance. No one was dancing on the dance floor. There were a couple.of flies in our room which was annoying while trying to sleep. Some kind of fly control mechanism in our rooms would be good. Other than that, relaxing stay and staff escorted us to omdepartyre area at airport after our stay, which was super helpful.

I must stress that the staff at the resort are lovely, the reason why my experience was marked down is because I had ordered a Virgin Colada at the Vui Bar and the bartender gave me the alcohol version. I am a muslim and do not drink alcohol. The bartender did not take accountability for her mistake and I felt horrible afterwards. I would also say that the communication on the app about offers for activitiea was not as clear as it could be.

The staff were very helpful especially housekeeping staff member Shuvi. Top marks for the chef in the buffet restaurant. They specifically made me and my wife a special dessert to celebrate our honeymoon. All the staff were all very friendly. The entertainment was excellent. Me and my wife chose the all inclusive package. My only criticism would be on check out day, they should still uphold the all inclusive deal until you leave the island as me and my wife had an evening flight which meant we had to pay for our lunch and drinks which is not cheap. The chill room was amazing and allowed us to wait in an air conditioned room for our flight. I would definitely recommend Centara Ras Fushi to my friends and family.

We stayed for our Honeymoon and had a wonderful experience overall.
The staff were friendly, polite, competent and just nice overall.
The facilities were beautifully planned from the nice groomed nature to the pools and bars, and everything was perfectly maintained.
We stayed in an over water villa, it was gorgeous! Thoughtfully designed in lots of little details, real pleasure to stay there and the views.
Snorkelling was amazing! My first time snorkelling in a reef so I cant compare but I did not get bored of the house reefs at all, full of beautiful marine life. And diving with nurse sharks experience was definitely something we will remember forever.
Finally the food was excellent, tasty lots of variety, especially recommend the alacarte restauarants.

I recently stayed at Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated in such a personal way. Traveling solo as a woman, safety and comfort are always my top priorities—and I can honestly say I felt completely at ease throughout my stay.

The support staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my trip was special. On my birthday, the team, including the chef, truly exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food outstanding—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor—but the care and thought they put into personal touches made me feel so appreciated. Every meal felt like it had been crafted with passion and pride, and the variety and quality were remarkable.

One of the absolute highlights of my trip was my dolphin excursion with Captain Heavy Hands. His expertise and professionalism were evident from the start, and his warm personality made the experience even more enjoyable. Spotting dolphins so close to the boat was an unforgettable birthday gift in itself, and I felt completely safe in his hands the entire time. It was clear he loves what he does, and his energy made the outing so special.

Overall, Centara Ras Fushi delivered everything I hoped for and more. The combination of stunning scenery, world-class food, and staff who genuinely care about their guests made this trip extraordinary.

Beautiful island no doubt! However, I think I would have paid more for a different resort. Everything was an additional cost. I purchased all-inclusive (which do not include everything). Food was limited. There were certain hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with no options available in between unless ordered at an additional cost. Bartenders were not familiar with drinks. Food was average. You had to request new beach towels rather than getting new ones at the beach and trading out if needed. Staff was very kind. Rooms were average. I will say I’m used to Sandals so that it was I am comparing to. They had coconuts one day at the bar that were an additional 10$ each coconut, even for all-inclusive. There was no coffee shop, snack area, etc. Traveling back to the airport for a late flight was terrifying on the boat. Overall wouldn’t stay again..

The whole experience was magical. The areas are always clean. It's safe enough that I have literally left my phone and wallet all around the place. Not even once it even moved an inch. It's as safe as Dubai if not safer. The staff and the way they treat you is not like any other places. They are warm, welcoming, polite and professional. I had a bad sun burning incident. The doctor was available midnight and visited me. She also followed up the next two days.
They checked us in 3 hours earlier and let us to use all the all inclusive menus from the first second which is basically means they give those hours as a complimentary. Also after the check out we were able to dine in the ocean Resturant.
As opposed to what many say, there were always a gathering or an activity to do. From a yoga to a local music band and karaoke.
I was staying in room 325, it was clean, tidy with a magnificent view.
Overall this experience does worth the value you pay for if not more.
Once again I have to say. The staff are brilliant. I will definitely come back to this place.
The only negative thing that I can say about this place is that you have to leave😂.

This was truly the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Everything from the stunning surroundings to the warm welcoming staff made our stay unforgettable. My husband and I enjoyed every single moment here. The resort offers so many fun activities that you’re never bored, and the food was incredible each restaurant offered a unique cuisine so every meal felt like a new experience.

We came to celebrate my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond. They surprised me with a sweet “Happy Birthday” message on the bed and a delicious little chocolate cake. It’s the thoughtful touches like that which made me feel so special.

Nadia was amazing! Always ready to help with anything we needed. And Chef Mama at the Ocean restaurant made our mornings with his warm smile and kindness. The hotel was also extremely accommodating, even letting us check out late for our 22:55 flight, which we were so grateful for.

This stay exceeded every expectation. We left with full hearts and lifelong memories.

From the moment we were met at the airport, the greeting we received when arriving on the island from the guest relations team, the superb massage we had at the excellent spa to the lovely food in all the restaurants (Mama) and the service at all the bars, the picture perfect setting and our housekeeper Ashik who looked after our overwater villa and kept the mini bar well stocked. Cant praise this place highly enough. Excellent snorkelling from your room with plenty of black tip sharks and tropical fish to swim with. Kayak's, pedalos and snorkel gear were free to hire too. A special thank you to guest relations for the cake, card, bottle of fizz and the bed decoration even though our anniversary was a couple of weeks earlier.

Our room was 20 steps to the finest sand and aqua water. We snorkelled daily to see over a hundred coral fish. Also took a 45 min boat trip to snorkel w nurse sharks. We fed other baby sharks by the Aqua Bar. Staff are exceptionally nice and attentive. Mamum decorated our huge suite and jacuzzi for my birthday, so talented and humble! Thanks everyone

Thank you Centara for honouring the expedia VIP access! On arrival at the airport my bag was tagged by the hotel staff with my room number, unbeknownst to me it was my room upgrade, an over water room, nice! And the wine. My original booking was a beach villa. The boat ride from the airport was smooth and lasted approximately 20 minutes.

Thank you Ravee for helping me through the check-in process, providing me with hotel information and assisting me with the hotel app, a very convenient way to see daily activities at the resort, and also very convenient when booking dinner reservations. Thank you also to Suree at the spa for the relaxing facial.

The resort was quiet and felt safe. Having a water villa and the ocean to swim in was a joy. Ravee was really helpful in telling me about the water levels throughout the day. And the life jacket being available in the room was a nice touch.

A few areas that could be improved are the dead leaves along the pathway, I feel these should be removed regularly. The AC and fan in the room didn't give me much cool air combined, so had uncomfortable sleeping some nights. Lunch was nice in Oceans, but it was pretty much the same daily. Some of the staff at the restaurants are friendly, but others not so friendly, especially if you have eaten there before.

I enjoyed dinner at all the restaurants, especially Suan, really nice thai food. A very friendly Thai lady there, but can't remember her name.

I would stay at Centara again.

The hotel is definitely for adults and amenities were geared toward adults as well. I had a great time receiving massages, sunset dolphin watching, semi-sub ride (similar to a glass bottom boat), scuba diving, and plane old swimming. The water was amazingly clear and practically waveless. There were several dining options and the food was excellent every time. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way for us. The property is awesome, the lady at the check-in was awesome, the guys at the Diving Center are awesome and the house keeping people were awesome. Except Dinesh and wait staffs at Arabian place, I didn’t have a great experience with bartenders nor the waitstaff. Here is why such a comment, they all have a bias towards white skin versus brown skin. Probably because they are all brown skinned, they think they can treat another brown skin guest lower than a white skin guest. The only exception is Tiron who kept coming by to greet and check in on us.

1. I stayed on an a-la carte option so that I can purchase the ones I want to as opposed to the all inclusive option. The Thai place didn’t give me what I ordered, I ordered a Pad Thai at Thai hot spice level but what I got back was more of a sweet and sour taste you would find at Manchu Wok. The waitstaff took the food back and the spice level had little improvement.
2. Went to the dinner buffet, the waiters who usually sees us during morning breakfast, didn’t even care to ask if I wanted a drink. But the next table was asked about wine etc. Little did the waitstaff know that I drink fine wine from the old world. So I don’t know what part of that treatment is VIP.
3. My wife went to the fruit stand asking for mangoes, was told they don’t have them anymore, but another man who went by asking for it got the mangoes, so my question is how did the mangoes suddenly show up?

The staffs need to be trained on soft kills and etiquettes

My wife and I went to the resort for our honeymoon and was an experience to remember. Your expectations of Maldives are that of a screen saver but in person it was 100 times better, the clear warm waters, the marine life, staff, food there wasn’t anything more we could of asked for.
Jau in the main restaurant was so caring of our every need and gave us recommendations daily of what to do.

WOW! We had a relaxing experience here. We did a girls only trip. We ate all the food, did multiple excursions, stayed in ann overwater villa, and had multiple spa treatments. Thank you Noom at the spa - you are incredible. Nabel, Suartz, Shawin, Simon, and more I am sure were so amazing and friendly. Always so helpful in the restaurants and/or buffet area. The food was so good and our villa was amazing. The views were beautiful, pools were so relaxing, beach was gorgeous, clean, and relaxing. Checking in and out was so easy and quick. Oh and don’t look at the weather. lol - it showed storms daily, even while there and it rained 1 night for about 30 min and that was it.

What an incredible place! I stayed here as a solo traveller in one of the over water villas. It was amazingly relaxing experience. The Villa itself is fantastic, with an awesome deck looking out over the sea. The staff are so friendly and helpful and even during the storm on New Year’s Eve they still managed to put on a great event. Excellent food and restaurants, my personal favourite is the Thai restaurant. I’d definitely like to visit again.

IT WAS AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE TO STAY IN Centara Ras fushi .
Right from the airport to the resort staff was very helpful and courteous .
Especially check in staff in the lobby Ravee ,Shikha were very helpful and attentive .

The resort itself is lovely - most of the staff are friendly and professional. We stayed in a water villa with a sunset view.

The food was good and suited my vegetarian partner very well.

We were full board which was good value. The all inclusive doesn't appear to be good value as the drinks are actually reasonably priced and so going full board then laying for drinks ended up being quite a bit cheaper.

My main qualm was the nearby island you can see from one side of the resort that has a landfill on it. It's ugly and can smell. Unfortunately this makes it hard to give this particular resort 5 stars.

The gym is also quite outdated and not always cool enough to exercise in.

Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay. We'll try out the centara grand resort next time.

It’s a well kept and clean resort .. there’s just things that needs improvement..
- check in could’ve been better, like having guests stay in an air conditioned room for signing documents and explaining about the resort . Instead , the lobby has no air conditioning and you’re exhausted and tired from traveling and the heat was unbearable..

- my husband got sick on our first day , called for room service since we can’t go out due to his situation and line was busy for 2 hours , we didnt had any meals from 12 noon til 430pm .. didn’t get any help even front desk phone was busy . Had to walk outside the heat to seek for help and look for the doctor . Good thing boutique person was able to get a hold of the doctor .

- all inclusive meal plan could be laid out better , certain cocktails isn’t included , like daiquiris and margaritas are included and how come sex on the beach drink isn’t ? Presentation of paid bar drinks was very good while all inclusive drinks they just shove it on a glass and put straw on it . Special dinners or themed dinners aren’t included on your all inclusive as well and it ranges from 60-80$ per person and it’s really nothing special.
Room service isn’t included as well on your all inclusive .
On the other hand , the service on ocean restaurant is amazing ! The omelette station cooks are phenomenal and so does the women that hosts the restaurant. Viu bar -Johir bartender was very good and so does Arif on the wave bar ..
food is very good !

This was the most perfect place to stay. We had an overwater villa and the views from our bed each morning were spectacular. All of the staff were helpful and super friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful. We ate at all the restaurants and enjoyed all the bars.
Beach was clean and loungers were plentiful.
It was perfect we couldnt have asked for better.

Excellent adult only resort to chill out and relax. The 3 restaurants and buffet ate excellent with many choices and great food quality. Facilities ate well maintained and rooms modern with all assentials. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Beach and swimming is excellent.

This resort was the best stay I have ever had! The staff was super friendly and always helpful and accommodating to your needs. We had off hour flight times and the staff adjusted transportation to get us to the airport without going extra early. I also witnessed another group whose flight was delayed by 5 hours and they arrived to the resort well after the restaurants were closed for the evening. The staff had made food and set it up at the front desk for them to eat as they arrived at the island. 10/10 recommend!

This resort is very tranquil. Although you are in the middle of the ocean, they offered daily activities to keep you occupied if you got bored with the water. It was what I needed for my mental vacation away from everything.

Loved the rooms over the water. Housekeeping was excellent. Noon and Suree at the Spa were outstanding!! Front desk was very helpful, every time!
There were 4 restaurants on site but one was Arabian and one was Thai so that leaves only two , the buffet and La Brezza. They were very good. The hours left a little to be desired as ALL restaurants closed at 10:00am, opened at 12 noon, closed at 2pm, opened at 7pm. Long periods when there was nothing open! Also, we were all inclusive option, but room service was not covered under the all inclusive. The prices were high ( cheeseburger and fries were$30) so we spent additional $400 on food.
Overall, I loved it here. Staff was friendly and helpful, place was exceptionally clean, a wide assortment of activities to choose from. I would come here again.

What a totally amazing experience, from beginning to end! The resort is stunning, the staff ate incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was genuinely outstanding, all the Chefs in Oceans were superb, how the food was so delicious and fresh is a miracle, we ate so incredibly well - we also ate at the Italian and Thai and again the food was excellent, but eating outside under the stars by the beach listening to live muaic and the ocean, wow!!!! The overwater villa was amazing, and the cleaning team incredibly friendly and always happy, a special thanks to Nadia, Amber, Babu, Arif, Iqbal and JD and out special Nepalese Barman at the Vui bar. The excursions were well worth it - to see Dolphins in the wild and swim with Sharks in the ope ocean is an experience I will never forget - thank you all! Lots of love forever! Paradise Found

We have just completed three wonderful days at this resort as we travel between Dubai and Colombo. Everything was first rate. We were met promptly at the airport and taken by boat to the resort where we had a most beautiful beachfront room. The staff were attentive and kind and we could not be happier.
