When I booked my reservation, I knew this was an economy hotel therefore, my expectations weren't high. However, this place was substandard, even for and economy motel.
To start with, the clerk at check in was bored. While she was polite, it was obvious that she would have preferred to be someplace else.
When I checked into my room, I noticed there were no coat hangers on the rack. While I didn't really mind, because I didn't need them, to me it was a basic sign of neglect.
The next thing I noticed was that the TV didn't work. The only response to my call was to have me unplug it and plug it back in. When I called back to say that didn't work, the call went to voice mail and no one bothered to return my call.
And finally, the toilet seat was loose. When I checked it, I noticed that whoever purchased the seat purchased the wrong size. It was way to big for the toilet. Given the response to my problem with the TV, I didn't report it.
Nor did I report the problems to the desk clerk at checkout. He was very nice and quite friendly, but since it was almost the end of his shift, I felt reasonably certain that my complanits probably wouldn't have been noted.

I answered into the lobby and there was a stale strong marijuana smell in the building. I went to the counter and rang the bell, and the guy came out from under the desk - yes it is as weird as it sounds. The motel is seriously rundown.. . Multiple humidifiers in the hallway near the rooms. The room was semi-clean however, when I moved the TV, there was a liquid underneath the TV stand . . Seriously this is what was there. I placed towels at the bottom of the door and had to keep the bathroom door. Closed to keep the marijuana smell out of the room.. My room was not smoking, and a matter of fact the entire hallway was not smoking. I do not do not do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would give it straight zeros if possible.

There wasn’t a breakfast not even coffee. All the hallways smelled like marijuana or cigarette smoke. My room was non smoking and was ok didn’t smell. Bed was comfortable, clean and the shower worked. The TV has about 5 channels. I guess for the $70 I paid I didn’t have to big of expectations. The guy at check in was friendly. But didn’t see any other staff after that.

The exterior was dilapidated and the curtains which were supposed to be white were yellowed with stains visible from the outside. Upon entry you’re choked with the stench of tobacco smoke. Everything in the interior was old and dirty and worn. The carpets were soaked in human bodily fluids and the smell was nauseating. The locks had been cored out of the doors and the latch was missing. Everything in the room including the tv was stained with human bodily fluids . The only guests were creepy looking truckers. I didn’t feel safe so I requested a refund and was told by the woman at the front desk that I would have to talk to a member of management tomorrow between the hours of 8am and 2 pm. This place was utterly disgusting and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Can we stop calling coffee and a bin with 5 granola bars \"breakfast included\"? The apple juice tasted correct, but the orange juice consentrait didn't seem to mix properly.
The front desk worker was aware of the OJ.

Maybe Orbitz needs 2 categories, full VS continental breakfast. 2 years ago I stayed in a budget hotel and had bacon, eggs, and yogurt. The other options were toast, bagels, fresh waffles, oatmeal, and fresh apples. In july 2025, I stayed 2 nights in a budget hotel the first morning I had a waffle. The second morning, the waffle maker was gone and the front desk said \"corporate took it away.\" And recommended a restaurant. I want breakfast in the hotel so I don't have to make an extra stop before a 7:30 work appointment. If corporate is going to change their offerings, change their naming and change their prices.

Never have I stayed...well...attempted to stay at a hotel so filthy. The first room I was given was a smoking room which I requested a non-smoking. It smelled as if someone or something had rotted away in it during 100 degree heat. They switched me to another room on the second floor this time. Room next to me blasting rap music. There were no towels or pillow cases in the room. Two of the six pillows had blood stains on them. Others were discolored yellow from sweat I am guessing. I called the desk twice and went down once to request towels and new pillows with pillow cases. No one ever came. I then went to the desk and told them what was going on and I couldn't stay there due to health concerns and I wanted a refund and to check out. I had only been there maybe an hour and a half. I was told there was no one there that could authorize a refund and asked to call Monday. This was on a Saturday. Needless to say I am still trying to get that refund and someone authorized on the phone. Heed my warning! Do not stay there!!!!

Property should be condemned! It is absolutely disgusting everything about it! Workers standing by front door smoking. Halls smell like ...well mildew, smoke, weed, garbage. Black mold inside ac units in rooms and on fixtures outside building. Outlets are fire hazards. Guy behind dumpster was stirring what looked like a water barrel then watering plants behind dumpster. Bedframes torn from all with years worth of dust, dirty qtips, and sucker sticks stuck to them and wall. Floors not vacuumed. I honestly have nothing good to say! Left within hour of check-in and can't seem to get them to refund! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I arrived to check in told the front desk we made a reservation from a third party . We did the normal check in routine and then I shared we have a ADA animal and says it’s a charge . I said you can’t charge for ADA animals and she proceeded to tell me that if I had the dog with me I wouldn’t have been charged . I said the dog is our daughters who is in the car . She said it had to be with me. She continued to tell me I was being rude and that I had to pay a deposit and continued to charge me for the ADA animal anyway. Came to the room - it reeks of mold and AC doesn’t work well. Carpet is musty and wet ( wear shoes) mold or some type of dark substance is on the ceiling of the bathroom. I’m trying to calm kiddos with sensory and autism so this will be a NOT fun night! There is no where to get food unless you want gas station or vending machine food. In addition, you have a company who doesn’t know federal law and can’t find any number to corporate.

The whole facility was disgusting. Old, shabby, holes in sheets, blankets also stained. The chain for the lock was broken. The smell of drugs and cigarette smoke everywhere. NoThis facility is in dire need of renovation and updated amenities. The worn-out state of the furniture and linens is unacceptable. The staff was awesome but the condition poor. The hotel smelled of cigarettes. It appeared clean enough until you took the time to inspect. The seats in the lobby were stained. Approaching the room you'll find dirt built up in the woods and carpet.

I am not a smoker and always plan for a non-smoking room. During check in i was informed that we would be in a smoking room. I checked the room out to see if we could bare it since it was near midnight. Just stepping on that floor the hall reaked of smoke and marijuana. It was to string to breath.

This facility was dirty. There was no food (no breakfast at all) and located in between 2 gas stations. Luckily the people were it's only redeeming value; being very nice even when I complained. The sink knobs were broken the toilet seat was also not fully attached to the toilet. the carpet was very dirty and seemed to have not been cleaned for a long while. Was more of a long term facility for construction workers that did not care about the facility. not the worst I've ever been in but close.

If 0 stars was an option, that's still not low enough. The front desk was pleasant and that's the only redeeming quality. The room was DISGUSTING, there were stink bugs everywhere, there was blood in the bathroom, bloody boogers on the walls, the sheets on the beds were dirty and had hair on them, the room absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. There was one towel in the room for four people. When we requested more towels, we were given towels with stains all over them. There was no remote for the TV, there were dead bugs in the bathroom all over the floor, the toilet seat was broken. We had no choice but to stay because there were no other hotels within 50 miles with availability. We left a day early because of how awful the room smelled. Clothes that were left in a closed bag smell like cigarettes, absolutely disgusting.

Last time I was here was 4 years ago and boy has it taken a HUGE dive. Reserved a non-smoking room and they gave us a smoking room that reeked so bad you could barely breathe and when I went and told them this wasn't what I reserved they said they couldn't change the room and had nothing available ( I reserved it 2 weeks ago!) They \"claimed that all rooms default to smoking rooms when you reserve (baloney), the room was a wreck. Burnt holes in the bedspread and blankets, heavy urine smell, heavy smoking smell, dirty towels that hadn't been changed ( one was even still wet!!!) the rug in front of the sink was soaking wet ( not sure why), The AC didn't work, The sheets weren't clean , the TV had to be manually turned on and off, the remote was someone's ( who worked there) personal remote and you had to hold the battery in with your finger to make it work but the arrow buttons worked oddly ( up and down made the curser go sideways...), the dresser had a knob broken off and sticky red stuff on top of it, The hallway had dirt and debris on it and didn't look like it had been vacuumed in a while, and It was suppose to be breakfast included but there was no breakfast or even juice available (the person on staff said he wasn't given the the ok to put anything out and that there wasn't anything to put out, they had two tables against the wall but only one chair and he said there were no other chairs.This place was so incredibly disgusting and filthy health dept should be called

We choose this motel based on it advertising free breakfast, which they did not have. The room was relatively clean, but it's an older motel and there were several large holes in the wall and the floor needed vacuuming. The door had no safety chain and the deadbolt wouldn't work properly. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, but the property is dilapidated.

I stayed one night at American’s Best Value Inn. This is a “value” stay, for sure, and if you’re looking for a clean bed to sleep in, this will hit the mark. I would bring my own pillow next time, but the bed sheets were very nice and clean (pillow cases too). The towels also smelled fresh and clean.
The rooms are not kept up well at all. Nothing matched, drawers did not open smoothly, the caulking around fixtures was old, and it just didn’t look nice. The A/C worked well, however.
My room had a toilet that was very small and low to the ground. The shower head came up to my neck, and I’m short. The water pressure was very good, however. The drapes were worn out, as was the screen on my window. The drapes let in a little bit of light in the morning, but nothing a normal person would complain about. They need replacing, though. Again, the upkeep of the room is just not very good.
Lastly, the whole building smells of a strong cigarette smoke smell. Walking into the room, however, it smelled much fresher, but after a few minutes I could start to smell a lingering smoke odor. I’m stubborn, so it didn’t deter me from staying there.
Breakfast is NOT served here, as advertised. It was the thing I was actually most disappointed about. When I asked the concierge about it, I got a funny look like. An “oh no, not here!” kind of look. Management should consider revising their advertisement.

I complain that the screen on b window was torn in half, he said there are no bugs this time ofvyear. I stripped the bed and the part underneath the sheets was filty. The old carpet was musty and reeked.

This was absolutely the worst most gross hotel I have stayed at in my life. We could breath in room. Hardly slept at all slept in our clothes cause the bed was so gross looking.

Was moved 3 times to 3 different rooms by managements request. First room the popcorn ceiling fell on me (I didn’t complain because of a plumbing issues management was aware and already moving me). And I seen the carpenters there fixing it while I was in my second room in which same, the ceiling was falling every time I took a shower. My rates from the first room to the second went up $20 plus and getting a full set of clean towels was a day long asking and waiting. My second room my bed was made my first room the girl at the desk brought to me and had me make my own bed.
So without even a complaint I was moved to a third room this time the door wouldn’t shut, had to be adjusted on the hinges and the ice bucket was from a Days Inn. Fridge and microwave had hair in them- short black hair.
All 3 rooms the carpet was so filthy my feet showed it after just 1-2 trips to the bathroom.
3 out of 4 of the beds felt like concrete and getting an extra blanket is a big NO from the front desk as well as when you get a set of towels.
Never complained once to them but noticed my room rate went from $56 to 100 in just a 2 weeks time.
They need the health department to stay there - I cleaned my own air conditioning filters out,
