This was our 2nd stay & very pleased again! Mike was welcoming & willing to go beyond to make our stay the best ever. The Room is very clean, pleasant & comfy. Restroom spacious with lighted mirror for the girls! Continental breakfast was complete opposite of previous stay. This time was fully blessed, fruit, cereal, yogurt, waffles, eggs & breakfast meats & variety of pastries/ bread. Well done!

The one guy upon check-in was very pleasant, but had very offensive body odor, which was within a few minutes, overtaken by the fact that there were a few people behind the wall of the front desk, cooking ethnic food that was smelling a whole first floor of the hotel up. The rooms on the third floor, which is where we stayed were newly renovated and they did a pretty good job. The morning time they say they had breakfast, but we did not stay around for it. The coffee was powdered coffee, although they had three big jugs like normal with brewed coffee he said they don’t brew coffee. They just had one coffee with fake powdered coffee.

I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and obviously recently updated room. I was there on a weekend and it was very quiet during the evening and overnight. Mike, the desk clerk (and maybe manager) was very nice and wanted to be sure my stay was pleasant. It’s obvious they’ve done a lot of work updating the building making it a very nice stay.

The property was in terrible condition. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the inside of the pool and ladder were rusty. The door to the pool had a hole where the lock was so anyone could walk in. To get service and check in you had to call them on their cell phone with your cell phone as the phone on the desk did not work. Room was in terrible repair! The only good thing was the location. The breakfast in the morning had homeless ppl coming in as there is nobody at the desk.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! We felt welcomed immediately, and they went out of their way to make sure we were taking care of. The property is being renovated, but our room and the main areas were all new and updated. The air conditioner worked great and the water pressure in the shower was really nice. We look forward to staying here again!

Property is very noisy and we did not get a good nights rest. Remodeling going on with saws, drills and pounding after 9:00 pm, when guests are trying to sleep! People walking around above us half of the night. Breakfast is minimal, juice is so watered down that it tastes like nothing. We would not stay again.

It appears the hotel is or was doing renovations or updates. But from what we saw that was updated was done poorly. The thing that was unacceptable to us was the breakfast and the breakfast area. The area was dirty. Food crumbs on the counter where the food was and all over the tables. Syrup on the counter and floor. No food being replenished either. For the price and what we needed it for (1 night) it was fine but not a hotel we would stay multiple nights at.

Check in was ok, had to wait for the receptionist to end her call. She was very polite and I appreciated that. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. There has to be new management however because the towels were so hard and dry. I have stayed in this establishment alot and the towels were always so soft and comfy. Until now. I had a room for 2 nights and on the day after check in, \"housekeeping\" attempted to barge in to clean the room. While I appreciate the fact that they wanted to clean a room, they beat on the door, woke me up, scared the entire crap out of me. I had the safety bar thingy on the door and they were unable to get in, but even then, they continued to bang on the door hollering \"room service\". I had to tell them through the door 3 times I did not want any service. Lastly, out of 3 ice machines in the hotel, not one of them worked. No ice was provided. Unacceptable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was lacking - sausage and tator tots (no eggs), the syrup dispenser was awful and either wouldn't pour or gushed, it was obvious that the counters hadn't been properly cleaned after previous syrup gushing incidents, yogurt and cream cheese containers were not iced or provided proper cooling, stale mini muffins and bread, only 2 types of packaged cereal offered (no oatmeal packets), no fruit offered the first day, and they began clearing the breakfast area a half hour before it was supposed to be done (including turning off the juice machine - a simple flick of the switch that could easily have been done last - just glad I saw the desk clerk turn it off so I could turn it back on).

The front desk was backed up with teens when I arrived, the wait was unnecessarily long. The desk attendant greeted me with the news that Expedia messed up my reservation and I was being charged an extra night that wasn’t on my reservation. He made clear that it was my problem that needed to be fixed through Expedia. (That was a whole separate debacle). Room wasn’t clean, coffee bar was lacking, and the bathroom supplies came in little teeny leprechaun sized bottles. The coffee cups in the lobby are also insufficient for adult human use. I won’t be staying at this property ever again and doubt I’ll consider Best Western in the future either.

Yes. The tub wouldn’t drain, which things happen, but we (my boyfriend and I) were lied to twice about maintenance coming to fix it. We had several noise issues. One person at the front desk moved us, which was good, after three attempts to get issues resolved. Since then, three weeks later, I’ve been dodged by both corporate and the local hotel. I was offered 5,000 points, which I clarified the dollar amount of and was told $25. I turned that down on the basis that wasn’t even half of one night at this particular hotel. Corporate told me they couldn’t issue full refunds and that they couldn’t force a manager to answer. I asked what good corporate was then. The specific hotel has repeatedly lied. The manager is here at such and such time. I call then and someone else says something different. The owner was too busy to talk to me or is rarely there. Today I was told the manager was fired. The only good person we encountered was the front desk staff who offered to move us to another room. I’ll never stay at a Best Western again based on this, especially if corporate is so useless.

1st room had no smoke detector and wires hanging out of the ceiling and stains on the bedding. Second room had a hole in the bedding and stains on it again. 3rd room they had us check first. It had stains at the foot of the bed but we were over it lol So we said it was fine. That rooms heat wouldn’t work and the people above our room rolled something around for over an hour from 11-12. They offered to move us to a new room again (instead of talking to the people above us) and the next rooms door wouldn’t close right. That’s when we asked them to please just refund us and we switched hotels at midnight.

The room itself is clean, but the property was dirty. They were obviously doing construction and had dirty disgusting mattresses piled up in front of the building. The icemakers were closed were broken on every floor. The checkout time is earlier than Expedia states and when I stayed an hour later because what Expedia said was the checkout date, I was harassed by three different employees and threatened that they were charging me late. Check out. I will definitely not be staying nor would I recommend this place

I booked three rooms for the holidays for my family that was visiting from out of town. Between my father having his own room, my brother and his fiancé having theirs, along with my daughter and her new husband, having a room three generations are represented in this review. The youngest generation was the only one impressed as they have had terrible experiences in the past at other locations. My dad said it was just a room that allowed him to sleep comfortably and get away from the loud noise of the family festivities. Meanwhile, my brother and his fiancé stated it was nothing special.
I I understand you get what you pay for; my husband and I paid for them to have a room to sleep in that was near our home. Mission accomplished.

The only “good” thing about this hotel was its willingness to refund most of my money (but not all!) when I cancelled the reservation after checking in. The hotel is filthy, including not only the interior, but also the grounds which had many mattresses piled up at the side of the building. (Bed bug infestation maybe?). The attempts to clean the hotel have resulted in ammonia and cleaning fumes that are so overwhelming, your eyes immediately burn upon entry. I would rather sleep in my car than this hotel and I regret booking it. I do not usually write reviews, but if this helps one person avoid the same situation I had — it would be worth it.

Room was reasonable. Front desk charged an additional $100 to my debit card calling it a hold and stating it would be removed at checkout but it remained in place for 4 more days. Continental breakfast consisted of luke warm tater tots and sliced hotdogs. The parking lot had 6” of snow when I arrived and was never cleared by the time I left. Any corner that could be cut was cut. Certainly worth the extra few dollars to stay across the road.

Check in was fine. The room was cosmetically updated but still in poor shape. Like duct tape over a hole in the window screen. Or patch marks seen on walls. And no toilet paper holder.
The breakfast was non existent. There was a few cut up sausages and tater tots. Make ur own waffle. Two apples, two boxes of cold cereal, bagels, and a few mini muffins. There want any coffee. The area looked very grundgy.

Front desk staff was very friendly; however, our room was not clean, (stained mattress, yellowed pillows, maintenance issues in the bathroom). The breakfast was not good either (the coffee was terrible, the orange juice was spoiled, tater-tots were mushy and tasted like old grease). Countertops were dirty. The only thing i felt safe eating was the sealed Kellogs cereal cups. We won't be back.

There were many flies flying around the check-in area when I checked in. The base trim around all the walls appeared to have been recently stripped of, tearing away the paint from the drywall and then slapped back up again without repairing the drywall. The shower head had athletic tape on it in hopes of stopping the leak (but it failed). I awoke to a moth flying around above the bed. It was the 2nd worse hotel I've ever stayed in.

I can’t even begin to tell you how disgusting this place was. The second you walk in you see giant stains all over the carpets, there were not one, not two but three types of hair on different surfaces in my room, there was an empty cupcake wrapper in the garbage. The beds were not completely made. If I weren’t as exhausted as I was, and just using this hotel as a means to an end I would’ve complained but honestly, I didn’t have the energy for it. Do not stay here.

The first room they gave us wasn’t fully cleaned so they moved us to a new room. Mindful there was also construction going on in the room above so it would have been a very unenjoyable experience during the day if we stayed in there.There was a patch on the ceiling that looked like mold in the new room from where the old AC unit was. There were glue marks on the mirror that were never cleaned up after hanging the mirror up. There were still rags hanging up in the bathroom from when the room was cleaned. The carpets in the hall were very stained and gave the place a very dingy vibe. Sure it was a place you could rest your head but I certainly wouldn’t go back.

There was a bug infestation in my room.
Management did come up and spray once but it did not do anything. To their credit he did say they would call an exterminator the next day. Other than that the room was okay.

They are in the process of remodeling the hotel, The floor I was on they were working on all the rooms to the right of the elevator.
