Our group of four had an absolutely wonderful time at Hotel Santo Miramare. The property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located right on the beach. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The pool area was lovely, and the breakfasts each morning were fresh and delicious—just what we needed to start the day!

The only downside was that the charge was different from the dollar amount we had agreed to at the time of booking on the website.

Aside from that, everything else was fantastic, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay and explore Santorini

Amazing staff, very clean premises, beautiful views! The resort offers stunning sunrise and sea views with direct access to the beach.

We had the family suite with two toilets. The room was clean and spacious. The shower was incredibly powerful. We were right in front of the pool that is a good size. Poolside loungers are aplenty and it is sufficient to spread a towel as they have good padded bases - there are quite a few with mattress bases on top but they go fairly quickly.

Food and drinks were a bit expensive but I think that’s standard fare across all resorts. The resort is close to a mini market and we often bought our own drinks and snacks and sat poolside. It’s close to amazing food outlets so there is a lot of option.

It’s c. 40 mins drive from Oia and is closer to Akrotiri. The hotel offers good transport options - they arranged our airport pick up and drop off for €35 each way, and other excursions.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Overall a great and I definitely recommend it for a family.

Beautiful Greek Hotel Resort in Santorini

This was an amazing resort property. Beautiful, well-maintained, clean resort with three swimming pools. The resort had a great breakfast option and served lunch and dinner as well. The staff were friendly and provided excellent customer care. Moreover, the resort property was a few feet from the Mediterranean Sea!!! Our four-night stay was perfect.

Can walk to many good restaurants. Unique black beach across small street with hotel chairs and umbrellas . Lovely pools. A heated one would be nice. Not near the sights but being away from them and crowds is nice.. short cab rides easily available.

All the staff were really friendly and professional throughout the whole stay. The room we were given, the view was amazing. We did half board and the breakfast and dinner both exceeded my expectations, food was amazing. The resort feels spacious and spread out compared to other resorts by the beach in Santorini which look at bit cramped.

Perfect other than one minor issue

The resort, pools, rooms and beach are gorgeous, the surrounding area, restaurants and boardwalk were awesome, the service was excellent, breakfast was delicious, everything was perfect other than one minor slip up by the front desk (we booked two twin beds on hotels.com but were given one bed plus a couch and we were told that the \"request didn't come through Expedia to the resort\"), since the resort was fully booked we were never changed to the room that we booked, regardless still easily a 9-9.5/10, would stay at again and would recommend to family and friends

Lovely budget hotel, nice beach and pool area, friendly stuff, newly renovated and clean rooms. The area offers a lot of local taverns as well as some beach clubs. Away from main Santorini attractions, but the island is small, so can easily get a taxi to go to Oia or Thira.

Lovely Stay!

Travelled during Covid so was a little concerned. Hotel was kept spotless, sunbeds were sanitised each day, and cleaners everywhere. Santiser stations all around and the staff were very good. Although the hotel was not as busy as it would normally have been, everything was taken care of beautifully and I would not hesitate to return. Great location right on the beach and still plenty of restaurants and bars open. Pool and beach towels are also provided.

The hotel is nice and is one of the fews that are in front of the beach.
Is necessary to rent a car, but it hasn’t parking on site so the only opcion is to leave it in the street, were the wind move lot of dust.
Pools are great but the pools aren’t climatized.
The breakfast need to be improved. They don’t have natural orange juice and they also they don’t make expresso coffe in the breakfast bar, so the only way to drink one is to go after 10am to de bar of the pool were they make a excelente Illy expresso.
Another detail: the “studio” rooms are more expensive but they didn’t hado view at all, because are underground located.
It’s a shame that these details overshadow the good things the hotel has!

This is a 3 star hotel, not a 4 star resort. The rooms are very basic and don't look at all like the pictures shown on their website or Expedia. The reception staff make such a fuss for every request including new towels, an iron, a kettle, more shampoo. There is no tea or coffee or even water provided in the rooms like most of the other resorts on the island. We were given a terrible room overlooking a parking lot and told that the view rooms were booked up, even though we booked 3 months in advance. No effort was made to change our room, and the staff just didn't care whether we enjoyed our stay or not. The manager even said that the view rooms are for people that book directly on the resort website and not through Expedia! Lastly this hotel is so far from the main towns of Oia and Fira that we spent 100÷ Euros each day getting around. Santorini is a beautiful place but this \"resort\" ruined the experience for us.

My daughter and I absolutely loved the lady who cleaned our room! We were there for 8 nights and she was so very nice and pleasant. Our room was ALWAYS made up asap! I wanted to leave her more of a tip for was afraid she would not get it. I should have given her cash the day before we left.

Some of the staff was a bit rude and off standish. First time visiting and if we asked a question we were asking for help since we did not know. I am taking about a few of the bar staff and one at the front desk what worked day. Also the front desk insisted on calling us cabs to protect us but found out daily we were highly over charged for our ride. We found this out on our last day when someone who went the same distance was charged half the rate we were. We were in a different country so felt uncomfortable saying no.

We spent 4 nights at Santo Mira Mare. Breakfast was included and on-pointe. The several pools plus beach gave options throughout the day to move, or change scenery. Great for families. Throughout the day there are snacks and drinks available at the pool and beach. One improvement would be the drinks. Within walking distance are some great places to check out with better drinks. The place was very clean. The staff does a great job of taking care of the facility.

The rooms are lovely.The beds are very very comfy.the lovely light decor is very fresh and light and clean!the buffet breakfast was always fresh and with much vaiety.Very good!

There is no kettle and coffee/ tea making facilities in the room.we asked and were given a kettle and cups but bought our own coffee and tea.

I would go there again if I went to Santorini.

Hotel staff were very rude & non cooperative.They did not provided any single bottle of water. There was no kattel for making tea or hot water. Also they asked us to empty the breakfast table exactly at 19 am while we were taking breakfast and could not finish our breakfast. I will also post my review on other sites also. First time in my life I went through the mental agony and were disappointed.

Customer service was terrible! Not enough staffs in hotel and same person working in the reception and restaurant! No coffee maker and no iron was in the rooms! No tissue in the entire hotel and we had to use toilet papers for everything! There were no hair shampoo in the hotel and they suggested us to use body wash instead!
There were no staffs at the swimming pools and we had to get towels from the reception and then return the towels back by ourselves !
I will never go there again

The staff was very friendly and the Resort was beautiful, right off the beach. My room was amazing and great for 3 friends, especially the master bedroom area. It is in Perissa so pretty distant form Oia and Fira taxi to Fira was around 30 euro but if you want to remain away from main parts of island, a beautiful getaway. Highly recommend.

I found the staff very rude they did not like helping with anything extra like giving towels for the pool or airport transfer that was listed as included in check in documents .

Also they list room service but they never answer the phone, the pool bar menu only has about 50% of items listed actually available and the gym has 4 pieces of cardio equipment and only 1 is functional also they will not allow access before 8am which makes it hard to get the most out of your day .

The hotel however is beautiful and very clean .

This was a lovely hotel. The staff were always friendly and the room was great. Enough space for my husband and I as well as our daughter with a big bathroom and a little bit of space outside for sitting and hanging wet swimwear. The pools were great and there was a nice pool bar area and the hotel beach and lounger just across the road.

Definitely recommend this hotel!!

Rooms were clean and comfortable, facilities were excellent and beautiful, beach access was the best we saw on the island for a nice hotel, and the staff members were outstanding! We toured the whole island by car and by boat, and the Santo Miramare outshone the other properties if you want beach access. Some others like Suites of the Gods were magnificent, but you had to drive ten minutes to get to the beach.

Lovely hotel - perfect for a lazy week

Lovely, beautifully clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The pools were great, and with sun loungers also provided on the beach across the road, finding one was never an issue. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied, however late you arrived for it.
There were plenty of bars and restaurants when you wanted to eat out. The only slight issue was that tea /coffee making facilities in the rooms would normally be in a hotel of this calibre, but there were none.

We had a truly relaxing sun filled holiday here.

The property was beautiful. It was very clean and comfortable and was beach front - although all of the beaches on the island, it was rocky. The pools were beautiful and best for swimming. It was away from the busy tourist areas of Fira and Oia. If you want to be close to those areas, perhaps this is not the hotel for you, but we enjoyed the ability to visit those very busy places that were crowded by cruise ship passengers and to enjoy a more authentic Greek experience. The mini-bus ride per person to these places was 10 Euro each way and the desk is happy to arrange it.

Everything was just wonderful. Very polite and helpful staff, including servers. Everyone works really hard to make sure the guests have the best vacation experience.
I liked that everything at the hotel was modern. Pool facilities are well maintained and clean.
Comfortable beds, soft sheets and blankets.
The only suggestion is you should have a bin at the pool for used towels instead of taking them to the front desk.

Thanks for a wonderful stay! I would definitely visit again and recommend to a friend.

The resort is amazing, staff super friendly and helpful. The only thing I don’t like is that when you remove the key from the room, the air condition shuts off, and I understand why, to conserve energy. But after a long day at the beach, the least thing you want to do is come in to a hot room that has to take 10 plus mins to cool down.

Not very touristy area, but we liked that about the hotel. They say they have a shuttle service, but look at the fine print it will cost you 30€ each way !! You better off renting a car and use it to see the island. Parking is free everywhere. Overall is a good hotel and we would stay again !

PS: eat at the restaurant next door called Terra Nera, family owned and great food, fresh ingredients everyday!!

Loved the location, and the peace and quiet of the resort. The beach for the resort is easily the best beach on all of Santorini. The sand is relatively stone free and is a beautiful black color with many minerals that give it a unique sparkle in the sunlight. Sunrise or sunset the beach is where you'll want to be. The food is great and my only complaint on the food would be variation. After a week we were looking elsewhere even though we prepaid for both breakfast and dinner.

Great hotel with amazing staff

Booked this for a recent trip to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. Even before our arrival the staff at Santo Miramare did everything to make the trip go smoothly. Nothing was any trouble for them at all.
The hotel itself is every bit as nice as the pictures show, is kept in excellent condition and rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The restaurant offers a very nice breakfast buffet and should you choose it,ma very nice evening dinner buffet,mtge restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful.
I really can't recommend this place enough, excellent value for money, great location and friendly and helpful staff. If I come to Samtorini again I'll be staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel!! Right on the beach with lovely pools! Restaurants and taverna's all along the beach area with some great food! Check in was a breeze with Babis and Yota..they were super nice and welcoming. We also met Panos who didn't disappoint with his welcoming smile! Every single staff member was helpful. Bonnie our room attendant did a wonderful job and was eager to share her knowledge of things to do on the island! What a asset she is to this resort. Free breakfast in a outdoor and indoor setting..our waiters Yiannis and Fotis were great and entertaining! Food was fresh and great service! Just lovely. You will not be disappointed! This resort is located down south and East side of the island. We rented a car and drove all over! We also booked a sundown cruise and they picked us up right at this hotel! The front desk can arrange for all your needs!! Don't miss out on this gem! The price was right! I would definitely return!!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and I have to say that we had an amazing time there. The pools always looked good, the breakfast was on point, and the staff was always extremely nice.

We had a room with a great view of the pools and the beach on the balcony.

Santo Miramare Resort

Overall a nice place to stay and we will return. Before we booked we knew that the hotel was across the street from the beach. Yes it is across the street from the beach and it has a dedicate area for hotel guests. We knew the hotel had resort pools. Yes it had 3 pools in fact (one of which is a childrens pool). The pools are excellent, big and clean and well maintained. Plenty of sun beds and a spacious setting. The pools are a highlight of the resort. We knew they had a pool bar. The pool bar is very good it opens at 10am and closes around 1 am. In the evening there is music and it makes it a very nice place to have some drinks after dinner.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby for dining and the hotel's breakfast in the morning was very nice.

The rooms are a little old and need renovating, the décor is old. However they are very clean.

There is no wifi in the rooms, the only free wifi is in the foyer area.

Overall it is a good resort, the staff are friendly and helpful.
I recommend it, it is not the Hilton but it is comfortable and clean with great pools and on the beach.

Amazing pools, great location, so relaxing!

Got married last weekend in the UK and came to Santorini for our honeymoon. This hotel was so lovely, staff were kind and helpful, we had a room overlooking the pools, the food was delicious and everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect place for a relaxing trip

Very relaxing trip to Santorini and the Santo Miramare was the perfect place to stay! The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and accommodating. They arranged tours & cars where needed, and were able to guide me to the best choices for the time I was there. The hotel itself was clean & bright, right on the beach for those who want that, but also the pool area was fantastic. Very well kept, with a café/bar on site & stocked with anything you might want. And a wonderful staff, very well versed, friendly & efficient. Also, the area is very much a classic beach town. Good for strolling with a lot of wonderful cafés, bars and restaurants.

Still uses actual keys to the rooms which was a little weird. Secluded location. 20 mins from the main town and 40 to oia where the sunsets are. Prime beach location and things to do on main strip but many of the bars and restaurants close early. So it's an expensive cab ride if you want to go to town. Hotel has excellent day trips and afternoon trips through their concierge. Very nice staff. Breakfast is awesome.

Best Hotel on the Best Beach

A real gem of a property! Very relaxing, excellent food, location for night-time strolls and cafe eating is perfect! You are within easy reach of the two hubs on the island - Fira and Oia - but we really loved actually staying on the beach. All of the staff were superb, rooms were very clean and the whole ambience of the hotel is lovely. If you want to chill in style, stay here.
