The room looked clean but when I spilled water I used a napkin to wipe it up and the floor was filthy. Aldo, the wash cloths and tiles were white and looked clean until we wet them. As soon as I went to wash my face with the cloth it had brown marks on it. So did the towels as soon as my husband used the towel it looked dirty.

Our stay last month was a disaster. Our first room had a dirty toilet, the second room had not even been cleaned since previous visitor (we were not the only ones this happened to), our third room had 2 beds and one had not been changed, but simply made with dirty, stained sheets. After a long day of travelling, we gave up and decided we would just sleep in the clean bed. To the credit of the front desk staff, they kept their cool throughout, did their best under terrible circumstances and made sure the dirty sheets were changed while we were at dinner. The whole experience was just plain gross!

Decent place for a nights stay!
Old facilty ( I think an old laquinta Inn) refaced as Garner.
We were in 206 , sink plunger was stuck and wouldnt drain, so we used the tub for everything, slight inconvenience.
Just wish this would have been noticed by whomever cleaned the bathroom before our stay, could have been avoided.
For this, I give 4 stars.
Room was clean, beds allowed for a good nights rest, and seemed pretty quiet overall.
The entire staff were very attentive and friendly, including Sarah that worked hard to be sure everyone had a great breakfast before starting the day!!
The place is Dog friendly, and that was a seller for us !

The room was fine, recently renovated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that we booked a hotel expecting to use the indoor pool and was told it was closed upon arrival. The hotel outdoor road sign was still advertising indoor pool. Breakfast did not have a big variety and no waffle maker.

We made a reservation requesting a handicap room for my husband’s Mother. They contacted us around 4 pm the day of check in to tell us they were undergoing remodeling and had no handicap rooms available. This left us scrambling to find accommodations after a long drive and a long day at a funeral, even though we had requested this handicap room a week in advance. Very unprofessional. We had to stay somewhere else.

Bed sheets were stained with what I believed to be semen (both beds). I slept in between the comforter and the top sheet fully clothed. Underneath the sheets the mattress topper/polyurethane cover was stained with blood. Snack wrappers were also littered next to the night stand.

The hotel was under construction which was never conveyed at booking. We got there checked in and our floor was completed packed with boxes and chairs we had to move to get to our rooms. The bathrooms had dust and plaster on the counters and socks crumbs on the floors in the rooms. Breakfast had nothing but cereal and bread. Disappointing to say the least!!!

This is an average property with an above average price. Few amenities, very limited breakfast, and quite noisy. They were remodeling and that might explain these issues, but they still collected their full fee and didn't deliver a quality experience. The room was clean and comfortable however.

The stay was ok for the most part. The staff was awesome. The shower had no soap or shampoo, the ice machine on our floor was not working and the elevator was slow. They also made a mistake, i reserved a two bed room and got a one bed room, but they did fix it for us.

They were going through remodel I booked the hotel because they had a pool but closed no warning about them remodeling there were no benches outside the breakfast menu so limited I was supposed to stay for 3 days left early. The only thing I liked was seeing how pet friendly they were.

This was a stop on the way from FL to NY. Hotel is under renovations so some dust and boxes around everywhere. When finished, it will look nice! The room was clean and even had a cute note wishing me a good day! (Remember to leave a tip!) other than the worn out tub with a taped on covering, the room was nice! Bed is very high! Plenty of room for my dog and I to relax! Staff is super pleasant, view of the mountains was nice! Breakfast was okay (scrambled eggs, sausage for the warm dishes, and tiny muffins/bagels and various cereals)

Hotel is being renovated. The latch on our room door was loose so had to force door to latch and lock. Bedspread had a stain in the middle, but was clean. No insulation in wall between room and bathroom, so you could hear everything. Staff was very nice and helpful.

With some tweaks it could be nice.

The hotel was convenient for my trip, right off 77/81. They are under renovation so signs of construction around. They are pet friendly so happy to bring my dog with me. The room looks nice, great size, big TV, lots of lights. The bed and pillows however were among the least comfortable I have slept on. Slightly softer than the floor. The bathroom was nice but the tub was nasty.

Certain exterior doors unavailable for use. Front desk associate was super friendly. The bed sheets were stained and the mattress had burn holes and looked like they were 20 yrs old due to yellowed stains.

We were unaware that the property was under renovation. If we had known,we probably would have booked somewhere else. After driving for eight hours, we looked forward to relaxing in our hotel room for the evening. Unfortunately, we couldn't because there was NO CHAIR to sit in. The desk chair was certainly NOT relaxing nor comfortable. This was very difficult as my husband is recovering from back surgery. Reclining in a bed or sitting upright in a desk chair was not conducive to this. Super disappointing. We were about to take a chair from the lobby for him. Also we were walked in on by housekeeping because there were no DO NOT DISTURB signs available. In addition, the doors to the rooms are SO HEAVY that every single time people left around us, the doors slammed. This is not a good thing as it's very loud and disturbed our downtime. Breakfast was okay but a larger variety would be appreciated.

They are under construction. It did not state that when we booked the room. We were told upon arrival (no refund at that point) We stayed on a Friday night and Saturday at 7am they were Working on the room below us. Many people were upset. Thin walls. Wood floors. Super loud flushing toilets that you could hear floor to floor. Would not suggest this hotel.

Before I start: the place was clean, and had open spaces late at night. So this isn't bad.

That said, it's not good either. The decor and facilities are outdated, if functional. The Wi-Fi password was not good, a disappointing use of a captive portal. The room wasn't well-soundproofed, so I heard every guest on my floor leave. The hotel numbers were laminated paper cutouts.

Overall, I can see why the nearby hotels were full, and this wasn't. Renovations are clearly improving things: with luck things will be looking up the next time I visit.

Pool was totally out of service (Maybe being refurbished/reconstruction). Looked like it had been this was for a Long Time (AS Months. I worked over 45 years in Construction and I know signs of Staging, Work and NO Work), The Lady at the Front Desk said she did NOT know whether or not the Pool was Open. (It took me about 1-1/2 Minutes, including the walk) to find out it was not in service. She either fabricated, was not informed by someone that knew (Manager, at least), or looked for herself. The ELEVATOR did NOT Work.!!!! There was NO Morning Breakfast, AS ADVERTISED, other than (2) groups of Bananas still in the Grocery Boxes and some Mini Muffins still in Manufacturers Wrapper. (Mine was stale.). ADDITIONALLY, The Motels Road Sign was still claiming to Provide a Morning Breakfast.

Warning! Under Renovation!

Horrible stay. I am actually going to request a rate adjustment. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation and the place was a work zone. Which is fine if that was mentioned on their website when I made a nonrefundable reservation. But it was not. The top two floors were closed off. The room we got was sub par. Dirty, noisy, and uncomfortable. Ratty bedspread and pillows. Couldn’t see out the window, mold on the windowsill, TV cable running thru the wall and along the wall. There were no amenities, no breakfast (except a coffee pot on a small table next to the front desk with some Muffins) and the doors weren’t working when we went to check out. They had turned them off so they could work in that area. Again…that would all be ok if I knew all that going in and wasn’t charged full price for a room. I am willing to pay for a roof over my head but not $145 for a stay worth about $50.00

Construction everywhere in the property, overbooked. Went from a reserved king room to 2 queens. 2nd floor room, elevator out. Breakfast supposed to be available, but due to construction, was not, pool was also closed. Toilet not bolted to the floor, wobbly and cracked toilet seat cover.
Manager was not there at check in or check out. Left phone message and email...no response after 2.5 hrs....

The woman at the Front desk was fantastic.
She accommodated moving me off the first floor, where my room faced the parking lot for anyone to look into my room, and across from the breakfast area.

My 2nd floor room was much better. But there was NO hot water. It went from warm to cool and warm, but never hot.

Breakfast was standard fare.
There are signs that they are renovating and hopefully things will improve.

Again, the woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

A very costly vacation!!!

This hotel was a God send. Our car broke down 50 miles away. We lost one night's stay. But, the hotel gave us a break on the second night's stay once we got the car towed there. They let me stay in the hotel until 1:00 the next day while my husband was at the car shop getting our car fixed. The young woman at the front desk was awesome. She was loving and very caring about our situation. She was an angel!!!!

Very nice staff and a very quiet atmosphere. However , there seems to be little pride in caring for the facility. Things are dirty (for example, the top of the microwave oven and the top of the refrigerator in our room had not been dusted for a long time), the paint job is poorly done, carpets are frayed. The box springs on our bed was torn open and there was a large swath of paint on the room curtains. The woman in charge of the breakfast area was very nice, but the selection was poor. There was no instrument to take the waffle out of the waffle-maker. The attendant said, “We used to have a fork for that, but I think someone threw it in the trash, so we just have to make do.” We slept well because of the quietness, but much was not up to par in spite of the room being less expensive than other local facilities.
