The hotel was conveniently located close to the highway, and it was surprisingly quiet given that location due to the many semi trucks on that stretch of the road. We did stay on a Sunday night so that may have had something to do with the lack of noise. The breakfast was very adequate. The room was very clean. The only issue was that our shower leaked due to the door track not being securely bolted down which caused the water to run under the door. We did mention this to the front desk when we checked out the following morning.

One reviewer wrote how quiet it was. That sold me. There were cheaper hotels but after 12 hours on the road a quiet hotel is most cherished. Everything was clean as a whistle. The beds were amazing, as were the pillows. The gentleman who checked us in was welcoming, friendly, + effficient so we couldn't have asked for more.
Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fried potatoes, a variety of bagels and cereals, fruit and delicious coffees and teas.
I'd highly recommend this hotel. It truly was Home me Away From Home.

Booking was messed up, Took an hour to get it straight, second day room keys did not work and saw others having the same problem. Room was not cleaned and had to go to front for towels. At breakfast a lady asked for more bacon at 9:30 and they told her they stopped cooking it at 9:30. Then, why does breakfast end at 10:00? The night I had to make 2 trips downstairs. Both time a sign was at the desk saying they had stepped away. A waited about 15 minutes and so did a gentlemen trying to check in. Not the best stay. A lot going on.

It's a Hampton! Easy check in, clean comfortable room, hot breakfast in the AM. Made a quick stop overnight for rest while on a two-day road trip and it was fine. Traveled with my dog, who enjoyed looking at the cattle next door when we walked in the AM.

We were traveling from Ct to Alabama for a funeral. Choose Max Meadows because it was about halfway and I had stayed at this property about a year ago and it was adequate at the time. We arrived at12:30am, the pillowcases, sheets and comforter had dried blood on them. The staff offered to move us, but we were so tired that we got fresh bedding and changed it ourselves! So disappointing.

The staff were great. The room that I reserved did not have a working deadbolt on the door and the restroom was missing the toilet paper holder. We were provided a second room. However, the air had a heavy smoke smell. We decided for one night we would put up with the smell.

Toilet wouldn’t flush had to plunge to get it working beds were like boards when we got up in the morning we had heavy dust or dirt that came out of the heating unit all over all of our stuff front desk was really good and helpful. Highly discouraged when compared to other Hampton inns I have stayed also when we walked there was a old drink cup sitting there on the nightstand and the refrigerator door felt like the door was going fall off when opened

The room seemed like it had seen better days. There were were a few dirty spots by the door and the carpet in the hallways really needed vacuuming. It would have been nice to have USB ports in the room for charging. There was a giant rip in the upholstery in the dining room area.

The positive side is this hotel is near highway so easy to locate. There is a good Mexican restaurant right beside. Breakfast okay.

However this hotel is on bad shape. There was no water on the water fountain. Pillows were smaller. In bathroom there were less towels. Tissue paper box was empty. There was no bath soap as this hotel ran out of it. The house keeper cleaners don’t speak English and no idea what we were asking. The carpets need new ones. This Hampton needs serious upgrade

My first two rooms were unacceptable, first because of noise caused by a large fan that was drying out the floor on the fourth floor. That area was also a mess. The attendant claimed she was unaware of the fan or that situation.

The third room was OK.
This seemed way below the standard of the many Hampton Inn's I've stayed at.

This was a quick stop on a roadtrip from TN to DC. This hotel is in a undeveloped/truck stop exit/area so it’s not super busy and loud, but it’s also not as clean and unkept as other main market Hampton Inns. The room and bathroom in our hotel were clean with the exception of some small stains on “clean” shower towels. Breakfast was okay.. not as many options to select from but it suffices for a free breakfast. I give the stay a 3/5 because it does the job for what it’s intended to do, but it’s not a place you stay for more than 1 night passing through.

The air conditioner did not work in our room made running noise but no air was circulating in the room. It was after hours on the first night, went down to the front desk, very nice staff offered to call in the maintenance but it was late, and I had small children. They gave me a fan as the hotel was fully bookedl. the next day it was still not fixed. Upon check out I mentioned it and they tried to give me a discount, however my card was charged the full amount. One of my little ones spilled hot tea on the floor, a towel was grabbed to clean it up, and the towel was black with dirt out of the carpet.

This must be an old Hampton Inn. I have always considered Hampton Inn a higher quality hotel than Comfort Inn or Quality Inn but this was not the case. The hotel was relatively clean but the sheets were dingy and did not stay on the bed. There also appeared to be old blood stains on the side of the mattress protector. It is worth the drive staying at the Hampton Inn in Wytheville just a short drive down the road.

We like Hilton properties because they always have a high standard that we like? I have no idea how this property has a Hilton sign on front desk? This place is by far the worse hilton property in North America. How Hilton allows this property to advertise is beyond me! Where to start? Arrival they put me in a room that is completely ransacked? Completely destroyed from furniture thrown on floor to beds upside down? Get a new room and abit better but still a disaster! The door would not even lock? The ac doesn’t work, stat doesn’t work. Just a complete dump. I rent hotels on name recognition. This is horrible, think next time before renting a Hilton!

My first room smelt like a chain smoker had been living in there for the last month. So we had to wait 45 minutes for a new room, that at least smelt fine, but was dirty. I overheard other guest complaining about how their room was dirty as well. I was overall very dissatisfied, this is not the first time I have stayed here, but it will likely be the last unless something changes.

The facility was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was well prepared. Unfortunately, one young staff member had a young child about two years old to whom she fed breakfast. Apparently she needed to take him to her daycare provider immediately after she fed him so she left the hotel. When we tried to checkout we learned that she was the only person on desk duty. We waited at the desk for approximately 10 minutes until we finally found another staff member in the breakfast area. That staff member came to the desk, but said she did not know how to provide us with our receipt for our payment. Very disconcerting and unprofessional.

Horrible place !!!

Horribly dirty and run down, garbage in the elevator. Stained comforter. Toilet paper holder was broken. Room was humid when we arrived. Mold in the vents of the heater a/c unit just disgusting. Breakfast was ok staff were nice. Would not recommend. Accidentally I want a credit from Hotels.com!!! I’ll be following up with pictures!!

There was 💩 on the bed spread and the floor was dirty! We have stayed in Hampton Inn in all 50 states and this is the only one that we will never stay in again! Hall way carpet on the 4th floor was dirty! It need to be shut down! It gives Hampton Inn a bad name!😠

Although the a/c was set at 69, it was not that cold and it was humid. The mattress had a plastic protector under the sheet making for an uncomfortable sleep. The carpet also felt damp when barefoot.

I had issue with room as I was allotted a room was in 1st floor. The hallway in 1st floor seemed dirty and a bad smell. Anyway the room inside was okay but in the closet was very dirty and stuff like toilet plunger was kept there. We had to request the front office lady to change the room and she was after some challenge able to give us a fourth floor room. Her name I forgot but it could be Peggy so thanks to her. Then that new room bathroom toilet was also dirty and not cleaned properly. I have a feeling the cleaning ladies there are not competent. Otherwise all other staff are very friend and helpful. The breakfast had great variety only issue the dining room was little small. The front office persons were friendly. The parking was plentiful and safe. There is a Mexican restaurant walkable and we enjoyed the dinner there. There is water fountain and ice machine and swimming pool.
