Mmmhh, not the typical Hampton experience. Upon check in, the lobby seemed unusually small and with a group of 3-4 checking in ahead of us and my group of 6 it was tight; although I know this was probably an unusual situation-not a complaint just an observation. Parts of the hotel were being renovated while we were there and looks like it is going to be very nice; however, outside (back/side) it was the messiest site I have ever seen; this is speaking to the contractors doing the renovation work. I know it is virtually impossible to find workers in positions that require physical engagement, and to find conscientious workers even more difficult, ( I know this because I am a small business owner and require workers to assist me in the day to day operation of my business). It was dark when we got into the rooms; after we got settled (we had adjoining rooms) I asked my 20 YO son, as I was going to the window; what kinda of a view do we have? ( I wasn’t expecting much) he said “It looks like a war zone, I closed the shade” he wasn’t joking!

(I walked around the parking lot numerous times for some exercise while we were waiting for one of our group so I saw much more than most people would)
I also know that the majority of guests could care less about this—But, maybe a conversation with contractors about work site safety/tidyness?

The rooms were great the breakfast was great and we will continue to stay at Hamptons.

Traveling with our pets down South. Spent one night in very good location for food and rest. Hotel recently renovated. Super clean modern baths with sparkling white towels. Beds comfortable and also exceptionally clean and crisp. Full breakfast was also a nice treat.

Great place to stay. I booked through Expedia and used my points. Check in the Gentleman was very nice. Breakfast was good. Room and place very clean. They were doing some construction and the didn’t effect me.
A couple of things I would like to mention. I booked the room after 12pm at night so chances are it wouldn’t have been used. I would not have paid over $220 +tax to stay. I couldn’t get my Hilton rewards because I booked with a third party like I was doing something evil! That left sour taste in my mouth.
They should mention that the Hotel is under construction. That might be a big deterrent for some families. I still gave 5 and 4 stars but these things should be considered by the corporation.

I booked a room for 5 with a pull out couch, it was not provided for me, I was offered a cot instead, there was no place to put a cot in the room, very small. The hotel was under renovation, the reason I booked it was for the pool. I was not allowed to cancel for a refund. There were hairs in the shower as well. Only 1 working reception and had to wait quite a while to check in.Paid extra to stay at a Hilton, won't do that again. Very disapointed.

They were updating their decor and rooms. It looks very nice. I had my 14 yr old chihuahua with me. They charge way too much, $75 for a single night. I really feel that is outrageous! That is why I gave it a four out of five.
The staff was nice and it is a great location.

Nice room, nice people, typical hotel breakfast. I only wish they hadn't put me next to the elevator. I was too tired to change rooms, but the \"ding, ding, ding....\" was disruptive.

The staff was very responsive, the rooms were clean and tidy. The property is being renovated and upgraded so the mess outside and some signs inside is understandable. We had to change rooms due to a TV which was no benefit (no signal) nor did the room phone work. Both rooms were the furthest from the elevators on the assigned floor which made it difficult for my wife who has balance problems when walking. I should have requested a room closer to the elevators or one on the first floor so that’s on me. Hope the next stay, in a couple weeks will be better. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

This hotel is undergoing renovations but there wasn’t any construction noise while we visited. Our first room was huge and had a full sofa and two beds.. but the new AC unit was leaking water and soaked their brand new carpet. They promptly moved us to another new room, a tad smaller but still very nice. Beds were comfortable (though quite firm) and everything was super clean. Pool area and hot tub were excellently kept and spacious. Breakfast was great with a good selection before we hit the road again. Staff was very friendly and quick to accommodate or provide local recommendations. Would easily stay here again next time we’re passing through!

We reserved a room to sleep 5 and requested a rollaway bed in advance. When we arrived we were told they had just given away the last one. We were told the manager would arrive at 11pm and perhaps she \"could find one\" somewhere. We waited up and never heard from her. We had to share 2 queen beds for 2 adults and 3 teens. The room was dirty and smelled like a wet dog. Rooms should be designated as pet-friendly or not so those without animals aren't placed in rooms that smell like dogs. We didn't even want to put our bags on the floor in the room. The hotel is under construction but they should not be selling dirty/half-renovated rooms. They should also not allow people to book for 5 people if they can't provide rollaway beds. The pool/breakfast area were nice so I assume the hotel will be better when the renovations are done.

Appears to be an older and parts of which are under renovation that has caused a good deal of dust and dirt in the common areas of the hotel. The room was clean however the bathroom commode was loose and rocked back and forth when sitting down or getting up. The. Sink had a hole and crack in it. So I guess the overall renovation is needed. Nice friendly and courteous staff.

Every time I book a hotel with a 3rd party I get the worst room. This time 1st floor beside meeting room that was being used by someone till 11pm. Property was under renovation which is understandable but dirty. Mold on ceiling in bathroom. Dirt on floor, stain on sheets. Won’t use 3rd party again

Hotel is undergoing a renovation. Worker was running gas powered leaf blower outside our window in the evening while we were trying to wind down after driving all day.
One elevator was out of service.

The staff was very courteous and helpful during check in.

Would stay here again as it is convenient access and egress from main highway.

Our room was poorly cleaned after the previous guest. The shower pan had stray hairs and there was a used towel hanging on the back if the bathroom door. The drink machine failed to dispense a drink at two different times. Upon checkout, the clerk barely made eye contact with me, let alone ask how our stay was. The per fee on Expedia showed as $50 but when we arrived at the property they charged me $75.

There was construction that was very noisy in the room. The fire alarm went off at 5 am which terrified us. Although it was a false alarm no one addressed the issue. We ran out of our room have clothed when a fellow traveler told us it was false. I would really like a refund.

The property was dine, but I'm sure will be nicer when the renovations are complete. Due to reno's, you could not pull up to the dront to check in or load/unload tour luggage. However, once the renovations are complete im aure it will be as expected from Hampton Inn. The staff was coutwous and friendly and checking in/out was easy.

I personally would not stay here again. Maybe it will be better once they finish the upgrades they’re doing. With how much they charge for a room, I expected WAY more.

Here are the areas where I had issues with the room:

As soon as we entered the room we noticed it smelled like dog urine that was covered up/cleaned up with a very strong carpet cleaner smell. It was awful.

The lamp on the desk was super rusty. Why? Replace it.

The lamp on my side of the bed did not work. Why? Replace it.

The top sheet had very weird “crusty” like areas all over it that were scratchy.

If we were not absolutely exhausted from driving all day, we would have left once we discovered all of this.

Pick another place, honestly.
