Excellent stay, will stay again.

Location is #1 thing here. This hotel is at walking distance from Bangla street which is one of the main attractions in Phuket. Restaurants, clubs, money exchange, massage parlors all are nearby. There is also Jungceylon shopping mall at walking distance from this hotel.
Staff is excellent to deal with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to Bangla street.

Great staff, decent rooms, close to massage / stores / food / pool hall / and dispensaries. A few blocks from PaTong Beach & a block or two from Jungceylon mall. Breakfast via room service was delicious every morning. I definitely recommend the Western omelette. Their version of a French Dip might be the worst attempt I've ever eaten on planet earth, lol, but A for the effort. Burger was good. As mentioned in some other reviews, there is no elevator but it's not like there are 40 floors. You might get stuck going up 2 or 3 floors but it's only when you arrive and when you leave - not the end of the world, especially if you pack fairly light like I did. Compared to ALL hotels or resorts, I give it a 38 out of 100. Compared to budget hotels, I give it 85 out of 100. Good spot for the money and I would stay here again.

Home from home.

Second time I have stayed at Summer Breeze and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. OK, so its not a 4 or 5 star hotel. No pool, no lift etc. but that is more than made up for by, comfort, excellent food, the friendliest staff in the whole of Patong. It definitely feels like a 'home from home'

Superb budget hotel.

Superb budget hotel in a superb location.
The bedroom was one of the biggest and best I have ever stayed in. The bed was comfy, the bathroom and shower was excellent. Room servicing was superb.The bar and restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices.
But what made the stay so enjoyable was the friendly and smiley faces of the hard working girls on the staff.
Once they have the planned elevator fitted, it should be given a 4 star rating.

Loved this place. Yeah there’s no elevators but that’s pretty much any place in Thailand. I have nothing bad to say. Staff was great. They gave me the suite on the 4th floor. Everything is close and your on the Main Street. More questions IG:Bulliesof619

Awesome hotel and staff

The room is just perfect for our family of 4. Very clean! Housekeeping done daily with fresh towels and water. Our room was on the 4th flour which was quite a climb (there is not elevator). Good for us, I suppose, especially since we ate so much every day! Guests with disabilities or older folks or little kids may want to check with the hotel first - get a room on the lower floors.

We chose this location because it was near the beach and Bangla road without being too close where it may become noisy. Since this is a small hotel with only 3 floors of rooms it is tucked away and kind of hard to find due to other business alongside it. However that wasn’t really and issue for us and we were glad to see it was a smaller location. Upon arrival we were checked in immediately and given welcome drinks from the staff who is very attentive. Anytime we would go downstairs they would greet us and when we came back they’d ask how our day went or the tours we went on. They even helped us to organize our ride to the airport for a better fare than what we were quoted on grab. Since this is a small hotel there is no elevator which we had no problem with and most shouldn’t (just a little exercise). When we got in the room we were happy to find that you couldn’t really hear the noise from outside despite the clubs being right down the street. They provided us with two water bottles per day and offered different items from the mini bar as well as food and drinks down on the ground level restaurant. We didn’t get to try any of the food there but were glad we had the option if we wanted some. It was around 3 minutes walk to Bangla road and less than 10 to the ocean which was great. We wish we could have stayed longer but think this is a perfect place to visit if you want to be in the mix of everything without being right in the middle. We will definitely be back again.

My only complaint is that there is only stairs, and climbing up while semi-drunk isn't favorable.

It's fine, as a budget place. Inner city location means no balcony, views, or charm. Staff were truly delightful.
Certainly conveniently central, though town is not too big to get around. Entry is through the front bar, where there is often a small party happening.
No elevators, so the third and fourth floors may be a big of a slog with your bags. Rooms were exactly as in photos.

I have stayed here for 5 consecutive years. The location is perfect. The nightlife, beach and shopping is within easy walking distance so no need for tuk tuks or taxis. The breakfast is solid and served by a friendly smiling staff. The penthouse is my favorite but all the rooms I have stayed in are very adequate. There is no elevator so if you are weak and out of shape ask for a room on the 2nd floor.

Best hotel staff you will ever meet.

I stayed there with my Thai girlfriend for two weeks and even she said the food was \"aloy\". All the staff, from reception to cleaning staff, are so nice, helpful and a pleasure to be around. It will feel like home after a day or two. I can't say enough good things about this place, and that's all down to the staff. A great bunch of genuine people.

The hotel is very conveniently located within a short walking distance of the main entertainment area and beach. The rooms, although basic, are well-maintained and clean, and good value for money. Staff members are very friendly and welcoming, and made special efforts to assist me with returning an item which I accidentally left in the room after checking-out. Overall highly recommend and would use again next time!

Near to nightlife

Summer Breeze is situated in Soi Sansabai, a bustling street two minutes walk from the nightlife centre of Patong. The reception staff were efficient and check-in was fast and throughout my holiday the staff were always very pleasant and helpful. I stayed in a superior room on the first floor which I found very spacious and comfortable with good air conditioned and also a fan. The bathroom and shower facilities were all fine. There is a restaurant which was well used but I can't comment on the food as I like to eat out.
A drawback if you are a light sleeper is that all the workers and visitors to the Bangla road nightlife area park their motorcycles all along Sabsabai at night and sometimes they were parked four deep outside the hotel. Its a little inconveinient but if you like the nightlife and love the vibe then its not a problem.
The beach is about fifteen minutes walk away so maybe not a hotel for sun worshiper. There is a huge shopping mall just round the corner with every kind of shopping outlet and many restaurants.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to be in the centre of the action in Patong.

I was hoping to meet fellow solo travellers but this is more a place for middle-aged and older men wanting to meet Thai girls. Safe to say I didn't find any kindred spirits. That said it was clean and the staff were friendly.

Greatest staff you could find in the world. Made me fell at home the minute I walked in...which is important when you arrive in a new hotel.You pay a very reasonable rate for being in the heart of the action and they have great breakfasts/prices. On the downside, room was a noisy due to air conditioning motors outside window...also beds are really passé and not very comfortable but that would depend on your tolerance to springs covered by couple inches of mattress...pretty typical for Thai hotels.

Great location on Soi San Sabai. Everything is so close, shopping, restaurants, the beach and the insane nightlife on Bangla Road. The staff speaks English and are so friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and had a great street view of Soi San Sabai. I had several western style breakfasts that were outstanding and some late afternoon hamburgers and tuna sandwiches that were delicious. You can't go wrong when you stay at the Summer Breeze!
