Please let us smoke on the balconys. It is weird we can smoke at table in restaurant but not on a blacony. Only due to the smoking i wont stay again

The rooms are small, the bed is hard as a rock, the pillows smelled like sweat, and the balcony is not really a balcony. Their only saving grace is the roof top pool, which you can find at other hotels easily. Finally, the reception staff do not represent the kind and welcoming culture of Thailand. There are much better options in Patong for the price.

I booked a balcony room so I could smoke on the balcony. However, no smoking was allowed on the balcony (a 2000thb fine applied if rule was broken).
I have stayed in Thailand before at the Ashlee Hub Hotel, Otop Market, and the balcony was very large in size and smoking was allowed.
While I understand smoking is not the biggest issue, and while I was happy to follow their requests, I will not book this hotel ever again.
If I return to Thailand, I will stay with Ashlee Hub, or another hotel that is more accommodating.

This hotel is not sound proof. Unfortunately we learned that the first night when an Indian couple with a child next door to us screamed at each other through the night from 1am-3am and then from 8am to 11am. It was mostly the man screaming and yelling and the first time I was worried for the woman’s safety so called reception. They told me they would come take a look. Someone was sent up in the middle of the hollering and thankfully the man stopped but his tirade got the poor baby crying which went on for two hours. Imagine my surprise and frustration when a few hours later in the early morning hours, I was waken to the same man screaming at his wife yet again, only this time the woman yelled back. I was happy she was sticking up for herself but my lack of sleep was affecting me. I went down physically to the reception and informed them of the goings on as well as playing a recording of exactly how loud it was through my wall. The employee immediately called them and checked with them if they were checking out that morning. The staff is great, but this property is dilapidated. The towels had mold on them, there was a leak in our shower, visible cracks through the room and common areas, and the fitness room was a joke. The hair dryer was so rusty and dirty I was afraid to touch it for fear of getting tetanus. This property is great location wise if you want to be smackdab in the middle of Patong but be aware it is NOT soundproof

I loved the property and the staff. It was just off the busy streets and was quieter than most areas. The security measures were great in case you are traveling solo. They have elevator key access to only your floor and pool and they have an extra chain lock only you can open and lock from inside. I came alone and felt welcomed and safe. The cleanliness was excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 stars is because the breakfast food was average and the halls echo and sometimes some guests can be drunk and loud but it’s great for someone who wants to enjoy patong but need some quiet from time to time. I loved it.

Let me start by saying I stayed at this place in 2018 and it was amazing. Fast forward to 2024 what a difference this place was terrible super noisy, unkept. Paid for buffet breakfast and it was some of the worst food I'd eaten, absolute slop, only tried it for 2 days then from there on I paid for breakfast at other hotels. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it was horrible. Never again

I really enjoyed my stay at best Western Pong Beach. All the staff were simply amazing and looked after all my needs. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The area they need to do a little improvement is bathroom cleaning. Some tile cleaner and a scrub brush along with 20 minutes of your time would make a big difference for cleanliness. I would stay at the best Western again, and would feel comfortable recommending it to friends.

The location of the property was great, within close walking distance to the Jungceylong mall, Bangla road and Patong Beach. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and this hotel was the best value for the price of all the hotels we have stayed at in Patong. Thought they will provide toiletries like toothbrush, shower cap and etc just like any other hotels. But there’s only shampoo, shower gel & soap. Causes me to purchase the above from 7-11. Flooring, bedsheets & blanket also not clean. Flooring sandy when walking around in room, no in-room slipper. Blanket & sheets got stains. Really quite disappointed this time round. Hopefully can improve the standard like previous.

The sheer curtains had mould all along the bottom of them, the sheets didn't even reach the bottom of the mattress and you could see blood stain on the mattress protector. There were holes in the sheet. The towels were treat bare, on one day cleaning staff left me with ONE towel only, no hand towel etc. There was human hair all over the floor, which l understood the day l saw one of the cleaning staff cleaning the floor. They were spraying a dirty old mop with something from a bottle...no mop bucket to clean the mop with.

Then the kicker was on check out l had to pay 500baht ($24AUD) for a maybe $1 mug that fell on the tiles and smashed. Would not go back or recommend to anyone

Just outside the hotel is Bazaar fresh market, which converts to good seafood place at night. There isn’t much toiletries provided though. The hotel room lobby is pretty dim at night. Perfect location in patong. 5 min walk to good massage joints, bike rental shop, convenience shops, pharmacies, eateries, street food, big mall and bangla boxing stadium. 10 min walk to bangla walking street and patong beach. Near to the action but not seedy, quiet and peaceful enough. Ample parking space. Staff service generally good. Breakfast quality was acceptable given the room rate but lacks variety. Rooftop Swimming pool offers nice view but a tad small and narrow. Pool should operate from 7 am to 9 pm instead of 8 am to 8 pm. Entry level Room size was spacious, generally clean and comfortable. Water drainage in shower area was too slow and led to brief minor flooding. TV a tad too small. Allow 10 to 15 mins for checkout due to room check requirement. Overall, a great hotel deal at the price i paid.

My 2 nd. stay at the B W Hotel. I was unfortunate as there was a large booking from a 3 rd world country who occupied I believe 50 rooms. The Guest was everywhere in the Hotel and very noisy.
Other then that it was a Great stay and I will not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Good location, friendly staff. Hotel is not that old but really lacking in maintenace. Shower kept going cold, toilet seat falling off and shower water did not drain so shower area very moldy. Also woken up around 3 or 4am with drunks coming back and making a lot of noise in the hallways.
