The Aim Patong Hotel is nicely located immediately next to Banzaar Market, opposite Bangla Boxing Stadium and just a short walk to Bangla Rd and the Beach.

It is close to the Patong Beach walking street, Central shopping mall and local restaurants. The room was not clean when we arrived, the pillows were not comfortable and the bedding was stained and dirty. These problems were reolved the next day after been reported to the front desk staff. The breakfast was very simple with only two options avaialble.

Our stay was quite nice overall. The beds in our room were a bit uncomfortable, and the room and bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Overall, staff was great and location of the hotel was amazing with a night market nearby and plenty of food spots and a mall in the area. Definitely check out the pool on the top floor, one of the nicest ones during our trip 👍

The location is good. A value-for-money deal.
Yet from my past and present experiences with the hotel, when washing hands, water easily flow out of water the washing basin, causing flood on the toilet floor. And the supply of toilet paper is limited.
The staff is nice and polite.

Great location and very nice staff on the reception. Only recommendation is there is no signage in rooms that states what the number is to call reception. Cleaners didn’t leave us towel to go on the floor in the bathroom either.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back again

we are every year travel to phuket, this is first time staying in AIM patong hotel,
let us feel not comfort and clean, no more next time we highlight below : -
1. please check the tea pot filter make sure is clean. our tea pot not clean.
2. after clean up the room, make sure have replace shower gel and shampoo,
toilet tissue.
3. learn how to control air-con temperature at remote control.
the best point is local area very near by shopping mall.

Centrally Located Modest Hotel

The AIM hotel makes an effort at being modern and while some touches are nice, the quality is somewhat shoddy. The rooms are extremely small and a would be a very tight fit for a couple with their luggage. The roof top pool however is well done with a great view. Pity the surrounding glass panels are virtually opaque with grime. The hotel is located in an extremely busy and noisy neighbourhood that includes a kick boxing arena with fight announcers blasting their play by play through powerful speakers into the street.

Very friendly staff who always has a smile on their face!
Good location, less than 5 mins to Banzaan Fresh Market, 5mins walk to Jungceylon and about 10-15 mins walk to Bangla Road!

Clean room with good air conditioning! It help after being in the sun the whole day!

Only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that their shower head could not hook on properly. It kept falling off mid shower.
The water pressure and temperature kept changing mid shower as well.They will only provide you with soaps on the first day but will not replenish for the remaining days automatically. No toothbrush provided like most hotel. So best if you bring you're own toiletries when staying here.However the bathroom size is decent enough.

Overall good hotel which I would definitely book again!

AIM hotel near beach in Patong

Hotel is well located in the lively Patong area where you can find everything nearby and you are at a walking distance from the beach. Rooms are a bit small with basic amenities in the room but the decor is modern and updated. If you are a light sleeper get your earplugs. Air conditioning is a bit noisy and the hotel is located on the main street so expect some noises but it is no big deal. Breakfast is very basic and some waiters are rude and unprofessional. the reception team is excellent on the other hand. WiFi service not so stable. recommended for a short stay.

The staff make it worth staying here

I have to admit I didn't know what to expect, but the hotel (or what my husband called a 5* hostel) staff were beyond accomodating. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all friendly and showed genuine concern when we got food poisoning (outside of the premises). So a big thanks to all of them. The positive is the roof top pool, which another Aussie advised is the best in Patong (he has stayed at many and said it's the only one without missing tiles). The negs are the room size, the balconies that look into the neighbours balconies and the shower that on hot is like a drizzle - despite the waterfall shower head. However all in all for one on two nights a good choice - the location is perfect. Close to Bangala street, the beach and the main shopping centre. Overall I would recommend but not for a long stay.

AIM do try to make your stay enjoyable but a Superior Delux room with double bed is tight and cramped only 60cm or so room around the bed to move. Hot watet is like roulette, most always I ended up with a cold shower, bathroom could use a decent scrub down but have seen much much worse, it was passable.
In the heart of everything but way too expensive at over $1100 AUD for 7 nights.

Location of hotel is good. Convenience stores can be easily found downstairs the hotel. A short walk to patong Beach and Bangla Street.

The only shortfall was the shower pressure wasn't consistent and hot water was intermittent.

Sound proofing of window isn't great as well. Could easily hear the parties going on downstairs.

Overall still a great stay.

Stayed in The Aim hotel over New Years so we paid a high price for a pretty basic room that doesn’t look much like the pictures. The rooftop pool was nice and pretty quiet most of the time. The staff on reception were very nice and helpful, however the staff in the restaurant were rather rude and very slow.

The hotel was good. Nice location near Junceylon Mall and not a far walk from the beach and action. Staff were friendly. Only issue we had was we booked an airport pickup for our friends. They we're staying as well. The guy came early and only wait 1 hr 30 mins.... but Phuket Airport is notoriously busy especially immigration. So they had to cab. When we told the hotel. They argued with us. So we lost 1200 Baht. Great hotel but don't use their pickup services.

Close to jungcylon mall. 2blocks from the beach.

Our first night was horrible. They gave us a room that had smelly drains, very moldy & dirty walls, ac that only spit out humid warm air. We asked to change room on the next day. The 2nd room's ac worked but unadjustable so it was freezing to death by morning since the blankets were not thick enough. The walls were still dirty and unmaintained. Beddings had soo much stains and hotel never changed the beddings even when we asked for house keeping every day of the whole trip. Fire alarm in the hallway may go off at 3am for no reason.The staff is quite slow and dont seem to understand much english. I have been to many places in thai and never been too picky, but this has got to be the worst hotel experience I had. Aside from the location, I dont think I will ever stay here again or recommend to anyone.

The location is convenient. It is about a 10 min walk to the bustling Bangla road along Patong Beach. Lots of restaurants around the area. The staff were really friendly. The rooftop pool was closed for renos during our stay. WiFi was fairly good. Overall, this is a good hotel to stay at while traveling through phuket.

Terrible customer service

While the room was well kept and at a good location, i experienced the worse customer service here. On the last day, we were supposed to check out at 12, however, my boyfriend had terrible food poisoning the night before and really needed to rest. I went to the reception to ask if possible to allow us to check out later, she did not allow it, i told her the reason and she still said no, not even allowing an extra hour, which is RIDICULOUS. I had many times requested to check out late in other hotels and it is always granted without a reason. She said people are coming in, im quite sure she was just lazy to shift things around. At 12pm, on the dot, she called our room to come down. So we went down, my boyfriend was too weak to even go out, so we rest at the lobby for quite a few hours - the recept and staff showed no concern at all. At this point in time, it would have helped me a lot if i had local assistance but i was on my own. With the price i am paying, i am very sure i could have booked a good hotel with a prime location and kind staff. it is important for staff to be understanding and helpful in such a situtation (and especially since it is not a budget hotel.) which The Aim Patong hotel has failed terribly. I would not recommend this place to anyone - we will never know when we really need assistance especially in an area where food poisoning is common.

The AIM Patong is a great hotel to stay in if you fancy a trip to Patong. The location is perfect and it's close to everything you need. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and the staff are the friendliest people you could meet. They. They couldn't do enough for us.

Quite overpriced
We paid for a better room but got a lower standard one instead.
Every day about 3-4 mosquito to kill, spider on the bed.

Great location, 2 minutes walking distance to shopping centre and lots of restaurants and the Bangla boxing arena however, on the days Thai boxing is on, in the afternoon they play a constant looped advertisement until 9:30 very loudly.

5 minutes to walk to Bangla Road.

The room was very nice however whenever the shower used there is an awful smell from the drain that stays for hours.

It's a nice hotel which is very near Jungceylon Mall and food market where you can buy a meal for only 50 Baht, very affordable! Nice rooftop pool with a good view and clean but has a strong smell of chlorine. The staff are nice, they smile when you approach them and willing to help. The room is clean, comfy bed and cleaned everyday with new sets of toiletries/tea/coffee. The con is some walls of the room is dirty. But overall, it's a clean room. The hotel is also near the beach and bangla road around 10 minutes walk which is a good exercise and not that tiring.

What more could you want

Absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed there 2 nights when we first arrived in Phuket and the location is excellent. Everything you need on the road it's on including a big shopping centre with large supermarket, and a very short walk to Bangla Rd and the beach. The staff are great and so friendly and the lobby and rooms are a lovely, despite the room being slightly worn in a small number of places.
The rooftop pool is the best I've been to with a really good amount of shade.
Didn't have breakfast but the cafe attached to the hotel does a great breakfast of champions which me and my boyfriend shared both mornings. Overall a great stay!

The best thing we had in phuket

Check-in was a breeze, thanks to Mr. Foon. The room was very clean and spacious, even the toilet and bath. Toiletries were complete, except for toothbrush and toothpaste, which we didn't mind at all since we brought our own. There were just minor issues with the sink drain and shower head. We loved that there was so much space in the wardrobe unlike other cheap hotels. Banzaan market, where you can buy seafood and ask them to cook for you, is just a few meters away. It's also near to Jungceylon mall and bangla road. Outside the hotel is a tour booth where you can get tour packages at a very low price, look for ms. Belle. Overall, we were satisfied with this hotel and its service. My boyfriend is a little picky with accommodations, but he loved this hotel. I would book this again the next time i'd visit patong and would even recommend this to my friends.

Aim is literally in the heart of Patong Beach and the nightlife scene! I enjoyed my stay here very much ! The rooftop pool is great if you want to catch some sun without getting messy on the beach ! I really liked the food at the cafeteria as well! The night market and the Thai boxing is right next it so taking a nap in the late afternoon may be a challenge but overall very nice experience at the AIM

New hotel in the hart of Patong. Room is very small , shower floods after use. Air con is very loud and is not adjustable . There is a lot of construction happening so the hotel is full of dust all the time . Not much food varieties .

Nedslitt hotell men med fin lobby. Flertallet av resepsjonistene med unntak av leder og nestleder er uinteressert i deg som kunde og kan dårlig/ingen engelsk. Rommet, Tiltross for at jeg gikk for «det bedre» rommet. Så var dette møkkete ved innsjekk, vinduene kan ikke lukkes så all støy utenfra fra f. Eks boksing stadiumet og markedet på utsiden kommer rett inn. Rommet var også bebodd av maur og har gammelt størknet spy under sengen. Etter at de sprayet for maur og «deep cleanet» rommet mitt lå det fortsatt en kirkegård med maur igjen. Sengetøy og håndklær er ferdig møkkete med flekker etter noe som ser ut som skoavtrykk, hullete eller flisete. Velger du rom med badekar, vil du slite med å dusje da ledningen er kort og det ikke er noen beskyttelse for vannsprut ut i rommet.
Beliggenheten er dog god.

De receptie is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hotel ligt dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden maar is wel erg gehorig. Kamer was smerig, veel schimmel in de badkamer. Na dit aangegeven te hebben bij de receptie werd er wel wat aan gedaan maar niet alles werd schoongemaakt.

Extremt smutsigt!

Aldrig varit med om ett mer smutsigare hotell. Trots att vi påpekade detta så städade man ändå inte. Fruktansvärt äckligt. Fläckiga lakan som var helt sönder. Personal i receptionen kunde knappt engelska, var svårt att kommunicera.

Godt og billig hotel i Patong

Dejlig hotel tæt på supermarked, aftenmarket og massage. Fin pool på taget, man skal bare være hurtig om morgenen, hvis man vil have en solstol. Håndklæder kan man låne i receptionen.

Bom hotel

É um hotel simples, mas limpo e bem localizado. Tem um chuveiro muito bom. Não pegamos com café da manhã, em frente o hotel tem um do melhores cafés da manhã que tivemos aqui, em relação custo benefício. Ah...a piscina é muito boa tb.

The hotel is located in the center of Patong, the staff are very friendly and do their best to help you enjoy the visit, both inside and outside the hotel. I enjoyed my stay very much and would not hesitate one minute to book again.
