They need to work on the cleanliness of the place. Our room wasn't cleaned up even though they knew that we went out because we left the room's keycard and we also put the sign on the doorknob. When we went back to the hotel it was already dark and we were tired from our trip, I was surprised and frustrated to find they didn't make up our room. When I called the front desk I was told, I should have informed them to clean the room when we left. Most of the hotels I've stayed doesn't need to be told when to clean our room as long as they knew we left and put the sign outside to make up our room. Also, I was not a fan of their breakfast food.

They need to improve the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff should observe proper customer service, and the hotel should think of the improvements for the customers' convenience and satisfaction.

There was poop running down the front of the toilet. Grab driver told us on the way in the area is bad for snatchers and pickpockets etc. Didn't feel safe to walk the street. Staff is friendly and they have billiards on the 8th floor. But the poop on the toilet ruined any chance of a good rating.

Sheets and pillows seem clean. Toilets are not hotel worthy. The whole place needs a gut job. Im surprised it's open. Aren't there criteria for hotels? We had no choice. It was a10 hour sleep stay, and we survived it. Couldn't wait to leave.

Cute pool on the roof about 15 meter square with a view of the city. OK breakfast with eggs and meat. The restaurant on the top floor was good - the problem was LOUD karaoke music and signing that was not enjoyed by us. If the volume were about half it would be OK but we could not talk across our table! Very unpleasant. I should have asked them to turn it down - I think they might have.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooftop swimming pool and restaurant. Buffet style breakfast, where you can fill yourself up for the day. Hotel is in poor condition and A/C is noisy, but hotel is cheap. I have stayed here several times so can't be so bad.

I lasted 17 mins - then booked another hotel and lost the money! I didnt feel welcomed, the room was tired, tap was leaking (although they did kinda fix it) bed was lumpy to sit on, only 1 pillow - i just felt it was not worth staying - especially as they gave me a breakfast voucher and then told me i hadnt paid for it so couldnt yse it! The location is horribke with the street outside

I have stayed here MANY TIMES over the last 10 years, i have recomended this place to SO MANY others, but this trip was NOT good... We arrived early because the airline changed out flight, we spent as much time as we could before getting to the hotel, i asked for a little consideration and an early book in, 500P sir, is there a reason for that ?? Yes sir your early, Is there a room ready? Yes sir, so you dont have to do ANYTHING SPECIAL? NO SIR, but you can sit here in the lobby for 3 hours NO CHARGE. But we cant sit in the room, yes sir 500P.. Can we leave our bags? Yes sir just fill this out. I find this pure money grabing..
Ok the breakfast has been reduced to the same EVERY day, and very limited and flavourless..
Then there is the cockroaches, they are EVERYWHERE.
This place has changed and NOT for the better. Is this a little bit of bitternes coming out? Most deffinately after supporting them for 10 years you get treated like this ??
So after our booked time was up we moved just a few doors down,, WOW, bigger, cleaner, better breakfast and yes CHEAPER...

I booked this for a friend and they liked how homey and laid back this hotel is. The service was also great. Their only comment is the bathroom, there's a foul odor coming from it as soon as they enter the room. Please add exhaust fans. Overall, stay was great 👍

Don't Book Urban Traveller Hotel Manila

Upon arrival we were informed by reception the airport transfer we booked via the hotel must be paid in cash. We weren't told this in advance. The room was nothing like the photo, dated and tired. The a/c unit was very noisy and prevented comfortable sleep. The included breakfast was very poor and unappetizing. Upon checking out next day, staff weren't helpful or prepared to assist us with a taxi to the airport, they suggested we walk to the end of the street and hail one. Overall disappointed and cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is good and clean. The food is great! The pool area is pretty. It is a bonus to have toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. The staff are excellent.
However, the street is very narrow and crowded. Some areas of the street are dirty.
Overall we had a good time bonding and we had fun.

Perfect for a few days in Pasay

I love this place, its my go to when I am in Manila! Its a good location, the pool area and bar are great, and I love all the staff! Everyone is soooo friendly! Shout out to my great friends Annie, Luis and Lloyd! MOA is close as well as Manila Bay.

I paid for 4nights but I stayed only one night. When I came in it’s very dirty, plenty of hair on bed and floor. The aircon wasn’t working,can’t sleep, it’s too hot. The kitchen staff is rude.They did not refund my money even it says on Expedia it’s refundable.

Would recommend for the price,
Rooms are on the small side, pool is nice and food was good and reasonably priced,
Mall in a couple of minutes walking distance,
Good street food and a good location,
Only thing that is a let down is luggage storage is for the day only of residence, so if you need to store luggage for a number of days while you travel and wish to use as a staging place to stay it’s not for you.
88 court yard hotel is much better bet and worth the extra cost.

Like - I like hotel staff, they’re friendly, and front desk staff have an elegant uniform. Security guards are considerate too.
The room we were in, was a family room, so I gave 4 star on the space and cleanliness.
The swimming pool, it looks nice but unfortunately we didn’t use it.
The free breakfast - consist of fried rice, 2 longganisa and 1 fried egg, it’s good. But pandemic style, it’s packed and delivered to your room.

Dislike- The hotel restaurant. They have menu but it takes an hour and half before your orders arrives, I don’t know if it’s from another floor of hotel? Or came from another building. The food does not taste good, especially the fried rice. I only appreciated the calamares.
The hotel restaurant, they don’t inform the diners or guests that they can singalong or karaoke with a fee of 3 songs. It would have been nice to know rather than looking bored until you lost the appetite to eat waiting for your order and feeling you’re being forced to listen to restaurant staff singing.

Suggestion - the slippers in the hotel rooms, we didn’t know that it is not complimentary. If you take it home you have to pay them. With the bacteria and viruses going around us, please include the slippers in your hotel rate.

I booked this hotel for my friends to stay and it was a horrible experience for them. My girl friend woke up bitten by something and she told the staff about it but they didn’t believe her and looked at her funny. There were BED BUGS and MOSQUITOES in the room! They told the staff about it and they acted as if my friends brought it there. After seeing videos that they took, the staff finally moved them to a different room which was smaller than what was booked and still had mosquitoes. The area outside the hotel is kind of dangerous so they were careful with their belongings.

It did not disappoint for a affordable price. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep and there was very little noise other than the aircondition unit.

Overall a great place to stay for the price. When I arrived the internet wasn’t working near my room, but the hotel staff offered to move me to another room. The following morning the internet was working great. The taxi drivers seem unfamiliar with the hotel name, but Maps will take you right to the place. I would stay at this place again.

The amount of roaches in the room was just ridiculous. Daily house cleaning does a good job cleaning, however the roaches are hiding underneath everything. Pest control needs to happen. And the amount of mosquitoes at the rooftop lounge was too much, to the point that sitting in front of their big fan did not help.

Was not expecting the location to be in such a “struggling” location… however, all the fast food places were within 1 minute walk… McDonald’s, Chowking, Jollibee, Chooks-to-Go as well as Robinsons grocery stores and the LRT.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming… rooms are clean, AC works well, bathroom a bit small but fine, fridge works great, view of downtown, bed SUPER comfy (but needed a fitted sheet), 15 channels on the TV…

Now the 2 most remarkable surprises were…

1. The pool deck!! OMG! AMAZING!! View! Spaciousness! (But hours were only 8-5 so lost potential there… )

2. The hotel donated T-Shirts to the local PODA tricycle drivers.. dodder r color for each day of the week… WOW!!

My sincere respect and admiration to the owners!!!

THAT is going above-and-beyond!!!

I will DEFINITELY be back just for those 2 last factors!!!
