The hotel is close to the AirPort and very convenient if you are taking a domestic flight from terminal 3 the next day. The room was clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. Just be aware that there in no bathroom or shower in the room. You have to use ones in the hallway.

Staff take advantage by charging parking fee for food deliveries that I have to pay. Over priced for they bought from outside like broiled tilapia for 180 pesos. Room is too small for 10day quarantine. Noisy air-condition. Noisy facility. You can hear footsteps and banging of doors in the middle of the night. No shelves at the restroom to put toiletries on. Don't provide complimentary items like soap, shampoo, etc. For 10day quarantine we hope to do laundry. The sink is too small. I took study materials for me. The table is too small for laptop and binder. Placers stool don't have back support. Mattress is covered with leather which is too hot on the back. Don't provide comforter, just two flat sheet which is not enough when the room is air-conditioned. Overall, I'm disappointed and was depressed with my whole stay.

Nearby fast food places to eat Requested a drop off to the Terminal 4 opposite the hotel and cost me 100php.
Cons:
Located in somewhat a dodgy complex. I was put into their annex, and it’s not a secure place. The main door to enter the area were the few rooms are was not locked, there should be a key for this. A vendor knocked on my door as soon as I checked in. I have to speak to them through the door as I’m scared to open it to strangers!
At night, I have to walk through a bar which occupied the pavement to access into the building.
Noisy air con and one can hear the loud banging of the door outside. Woke me up few times.

Awesome location, great room and hotel rates!!!!

The hotel location is excellent!!!! There are store shops, restaurants and coffee shops just right outside of the hotel.
The area is relatively safe with controlled access points and security rovers.

The hotel room is very clean, modern, with hot water showers. The staff are friendly, polite and helful.!

Very budget which is what you expect. Shared bathroom which wasn’t very pleasant.

Very close to terminal 4 which was why we stayed there.

Air con in room sounded like a plane taking off - ridiculously loud but too stuffy to turn it off.

We we’re running late for plane at checkout and the staff took forever just to take our key (we owed no money) which was frustrating.

Don’t expect much if you stay here but there are food places downstairs and airport across road.

We stay here every trip we make to philippines , for our overnight layover for next flight, simple room , clean , quiet , we get the private bathroom option ,plenty of restaraunt just across road, also a convenient food mart, it’s all you need to get a good nights rest , they offer shuttle to airport for small fee, very convenient , my wife and I enjoy it , will always use it

Very very basic rooms and depressing atmosphere, but there is a TV and a decent massage place next door and some Phillipino fast food and street food around. Not nice, but a lot better than 12 hours at the airport and its super cheap. Even cheaper if you just pay there not online. 500 pesos (12 Aussie $, or 10 USD) for 3 hours or 1000 pesos (24 Aussie$ or 20 USD) for 12 hours. 2 minutes walk to terminal 4 or cheap shuttle to the other terminals is good too.

Clean and tidy room but very small. No mirror in bedroom which was annoying. Shower and toilet super clean. Staff said deposit was 300 then asked for 500. I said 300 was fine and would like a receipt. Good for late night flights into manila when you don't want to travel far to a hotel

Very Very noisey lots of parties going on way past 4am in the morning,shouting screaming etc. Also building work going on throughout the night hammering drilling etc. Not sure if this is the norm after Christmas but if it is avoid like nappy rash. I thought it was very inconsiderate of the people on the desk not informing you of the noise, and when asked to transfer to a nother room was informed the hotel was full even though this wasnt the case.

I arrived really late and they were kind to give me a late checkout at no charge.

This is across the street from terminal 4 so if you have a layover, it's great. The rooms are clean enough. Bathrooms are shared. A lot of restaurants near by in the plaza. This location is a lot better than the one in Paranaque.

Bare Minimum

My reservation was made a couple of weeks in advance and fully prepaid via Expedia.

Prior to my arrival, I tried to contact the hotel via phone and email. Although I verified the contact info, I never received one substantive reply (in about one week).

When I arrived at the hotel to check in at about 6pm, despite what I said above, my room still wasn't ready. When I asked the reception staff what the problem was, they would not answer me. I persisted. They scrambled and still said nothing. Finally, a manager appeared and mumbled some completely useless manager-speak. The problem seemed to be that they simply never cleaned and prepared my room and needed to find another suitable room quickly. All of these simple tasks seemed to stretch their abilities (despite being basic functions of a hotel).

Pros:
* Close to airport
* Close to 24/7 restaurant
Cons:
* No ability to interact online
* Unprepared, unresponsive management and staff
* Rooms spread all over an industrial/commercial park
* No phone in room

If you need the bare minimum in a pinch, next to the airport, OK. Otherwise, there are better places for less money in the area.

Overpriced Dump.

What an overpriced dump. It should be shut down for health reasons. Also my friend arrived early and paid a 1000 peso deposit but they would only return 500. The employee who received the deposit was not available. Unfortunately my friend did not notice that the deposit amount was not on the receipt. Only said deposit. I am surprised that this place is on hotels.com. it is a dump.

Super value for money!

This hostel is a convenience galore. The location can't be beaten in terms of its nearness to Terminal 4 - it's right across! That said, we didn't hear any noise whatsoever. A bar is literally downstairs, and a convenience store is just a few doors away. What this place doesn't seem to have is ATM.

I personally like the receptionist - very fluent in English, very smiley and accommodating! Thumbs up to you, miss sorry-I-forgot-to-ask-your-name!

I have no issue with their room. It's clean and tidy, and towels are provided. I just need a place to sleep before my early flight the following day. Bathroom is not attached to the room, but I have no issue with this either.

And they gave us a bag-tag as a souvenir!

The Domestic Guesthouse was great mainly for it's close proximity to the airport. If I didn't require a hotel for this purpose then otherwise I wouldn't have stayed here. The neighborhood is quite run down and as a foreigner I didn't feel exactly safe. But within the initial compound we felt perfectly safe. The staff were helpful, there were local amneties within the compound, a corner shop, a Jollibee, a pool hall, a gym. The room was sufficient for a short stay before catching a flight from the airport, however I'd recommend NOT using the inhouse taxi service as the price is grossly overpriced and you will be better off ordering your own.

Sufficient Crash Pad for an Overnight Layover

I stayed here overnight inbetween flights. It's convenient to stay here as the domestic airport is literally across the street and a quarter of the price of the \"hotel\" in the same complex. It's overpriced for what it is, but still rather inexpensive. Rooms with private bathrooms are in a separate building than the lobby. The room was clean, had a tv with cable, wifi, and AC. The complex there is next to a few food places and had a bar. There's also a modest gym. It was a bit loud at night when people would arrive and the bathroom could be updated and had the distinct smell of mildew. Overall, it serves it's purpose and it's pretty cheap. I would stay here again if I had another overnight layover.

What I like most is that it was located nearest to airport and with walking distance budget friendly restaurants with quality food. Stayed here the night before our domestic flight because it was right across the airport. Rooms were clean but didn't look nice at all (pipes were visible on walls and ceiling). Shower and toilet were always clean. Soap, shampoo, towels were provided.
There was a party at the bar beside the hotel and people were doing karaoke til past 3am so we barely slept. We could literally feel the sound vibrations on our headboard!

Great but for One night only.

The room was clean, comfortable and cheap. I only stayed here as it is close by to the airport and I had an early flight the following morning, and traffic in the Philippines is hectic. Staff are friendly and transportation to the airport is provided for 100 pesos, which is very good. It is also located in a complex with good food selections which was great. Bathrooms however are shared between guests, which I was fine with at first until I had to use the facilities. Some guest are disgusting and leave the bathrooms in a terrible state. That was the only downfall.

Rooms were clean, as it says it is a budget hotel so don't go expecting too much for what you pay. It is a nice hotel for a short stay be it a few hours or a couple days. Across the road from the Cebu Pacific Ops Centre for those who need to go there. Staff are helpful and friendly. Taxi from airport in the yellow taxi costs around 100 pesos.

Basic review

After an initial struggle by our taxi drive to locate the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our room and quickly dealt with a problem with the television in our room.

The room was extremely basic but cleaned to an acceptable standard. We booked into this hotel after travelling back from a philippine island as we needed some where close to the airport for our early morning flight home. This hotel was cheap and perfect for this purpose.

We booked in this hotel for 4 days, awful surprised they doesnt have a knife to cut a mango fruit, My wife asked if they have fridge to place our chocolate bars, but they have no place for it, When we arrived, there was no one in the concierge, no elevator to use we have to use the steps along with roof. Wifi didnt work, TV was dead.

Just for one night...!

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. I took my shower with a cockroach. There was a strange insect in my bed. I had to ask for a bed sheet, a bath towel and toilet paper. My night was a frightmare because of a bar near my room and they did not closed the bar before 1:00 am, I had to wake up at 3:30 am to take the shuttle to go to the airport. The staff is not courteous, they speak fast and when you ask them to repeat, they do not pay attention. The only positive point is that this hotel is near the airport, about 10 min to the Terminal 1 and fees are very low. But I will not go back to this hotel again!

Good but basic hotel ideal for no-frills stopover

This is really a very convenient hotel for an overnight stopover in Manila. It is very close to the airport. I have stayed twice. The rooms are basic but clean, and there is a shared bathroom. I have booked through expedia and there was no issue either time. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue for me was that the taxi driver to the airport this last time was very expensive, and I forgot to check for a meter or ask rates before stepping in - just be careful. There are some small corner shops next door and a Jollibee opposite.

Cheap and easy place for airport access

If you are just doing a overnight stay for flights this place is perfect for a budget traveller. A bar down stairs which was good for beers, but a little loud until about midnight. Clean and tidy with TV. A shared bathroom that was clean enough. Transport to and from the airport for 100 php per way (about 2 euro).

Overnight Transit Stay

Hotel is conveniently located close to NAIA Terminal 1. Internet reservations were easy and fast. Arrival pick-up was as the Hotel information indicated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only negative was that during the reservation process, the room detail indicated - ROOM INCLUDES IN-ROOM SHOWER, COMMON TOILET. When i got to the room, there was no IN-ROOM SHOWER and was told that it would cost an extra 1000peso's. I pointed out the detail in the room details and hotel manager changed room to IN-ROOM SHOWER and TOILET! This was the second time I stayed at this location and will return if I have the chance.

Worth every penny

Very clean in a country that isn't. Even though bathroom and separate shower were in hall, you never knew they were used by someone else because they were cleaned after every use even between midnite and 6am. Close to airport and prefect layover hotel.

Best Little Guest House in Manila

Absolutely Best place that i have ever stayed at for a short Transit visit. Could not find any negative items to write about! THis place should be an example for the larger chains to meet and keep 100% customer satisfaction and retention.

Great place to spend a few nights in

The hotel doesn't give much, in terms of a common area etc. But the room was nice, we shared a bathroom that was clean. TV, air-con. I'm not fussy, so I enjoyed my time there, near to the airport and ideal location, not far from MOA or the airport terminals.
