The constant door rattling maybe due the wind (sounds like someone was trying to open the door). We had to put our luggage against it to prevent the rattling. The step to the bathroom was too high that another step down would be appreciated. Lastly, even a cheap plastic curtain between the shower and toilet bowl would be nice to prevent the bowl from getting too wet when showering.

Giving this hostel 4 star due to staff’s great customer service and friendliness.

The place has a great location as it’s very close to all amenities which you can easily walk to many areas you wish to see. This hostel is very easy for local drivers to find.

Price is reasonable and cheaper than many other hotels and hotels nearby however, it would be great to see this place with complete clean up so they can attract more people and visitors to come in. Common areas outside of this hostel is neat and tidy. Room needs a good cleaning and better beddings.

Having said that, no one can beat the customer service I have encountered.

Good air conditioning unit inside the room. Front desk was very helpful in coordinating my follow on flight to Boracay. The step up from the room in the bathroom was unique. Water pressure was good. Good deal for the Money and close proximity to NIAi airport. The shuttle to the Terminal 3 for my early flight went smoothly.

I love that the friendly and accommodating staff let us checkin as early as 6am as we arrived from a long commute from the province. I always book to this hotel as it is only 5 minutes away from the airport, with free shuttle service to and from the airport. It is very close to a lot of amenities and food chains below the hotel. The room is clean, and breakfast is included.

This was such a scam. We booked this for our night arriving from the airport late. We booked at 6pm and the reception is said to be open until 10pm. We tried to call, email, fax and message but no one responded so we never received our information to get to the room!!! They refused to reimburse us to top it up, despite their unavailability to provide us with the information to get to the room. Absolutely outrageous, terrible experience

We stayed during a 6-hour layover between flights. It’s a great place for a cheap stay and for our purposes where we only needed to sleep for a few hours and go again, it was good enough.

The staff were excellent. Our flight came in at 3:30am and they picked us up quickly from the airport and got us to our room. The beds were had and not in a good way. Super uncomfortable, but good enough to sleep for 4 hours at the price. I wouldn’t stay there if it was for any other reason but it was gods for why we needed.

Stayed one night. It was good for me but I hear loud noise and in the hallway, plane sound not far from the airport but won't bother me. Important clean, safe location, friendly staff, and friendly/good driver transportation pick up and drop off to the airport and that's a big bonus. Free/buffet breakfast that you walk outside the hotel. The bed is not really soft but it's ok manageable. The AC great. I will check in again next time visiting Philippines. I will recommend to my friends.

I was really impress about this place. Very good service. Accommodating staff. Place is clean. Room is perfect for single or couple. Only down side is the shower area. Drain is so slow that water runs behind the toilet. Also, can use a curtain so toilet don’t get wet when showering.

Extremely small room. No windows. Charged an extra 100 pesos to use an extra towel. Charged 500 pesos because small stain on pillow case. I thought they washed linens everyday after a guest checks out? The place is more like a hostel than motel. Only thing good about it was the staff was nice. If you want anything more than a bed and bedroom the size of closet, then avoid this place and watch out for all the extra fees if you do stay here.

I checked arrived at 4pm and my room was not ready for another hour. The staff are too pushy about tips. They would not even allow me to leave the lobby after I checked in without an escort so that I would tip. Also the shuttle the next morning was running very late for our airport pick up.

I will never stay here again and I would avoid this hotel if you have any kind of schedule to keep.

This property is approx 4mins from T2 w/o traffic. It took us only 5mins to wait for the free shuttle as we messaged them as soon as our plane landed. Room and the hotel is overall clean, has free breakfast buffet, and the room has vanity kits. A really affordable, convenient place for an overnight stay. The rooms are quite noisy from the outside vehicles and planes and you can hear people’s footsteps and voices from the outside. Bed is not the super comfy soft but I still recommend this for a budget friendly, close to the airport overnight layover.

Really nice place, I was just staying for a layover and had to catch an early flight so I wasn't able to avail myself to the included breakfast but I did order dinner through room service and it was good. Very large serving. I would definitely stay there again, and next time I hope it would be for longer!

Great bang for your buck

Whenever we come through Manila, we stay at Airport Poddotel for their shuttle service. That the hotel is in a plaza/compound with several restaurants/eateries and even a massage place is a huge plus. The staff are pleasant and they took care of our airport shuttling needs well. Only downside is the beds are on the harder side. We slept fine, but if you are particular with mattresses, it might be a little uncomfortable. They have free breakfast too. All in all, very convenient and good value for money. Will keep staying here for future layovers.

As soon as I arrived staff members were calling me Sir with smiles on their faces and doors were all being open for me. The entire staff made me feel that I was a very important individual. Check in was as smooth as could be and the ladies working at the desk were as sweet as could be as well. They carried my luggage to my room and the air conditioner was already on at a comfortable temperature. The room itself was immaculately clean and very, very comfortable and quiet. The shuttle driver to the airport was a very friendly gentleman who made the short trip a very pleasant one. I would definetly stay there again and recommend it to everyone. They also had a breakfast buffet but unfortunetly I wasn't able to try it for I needed to catch an early flight. I cannot say enough of how much of a pleasant stay I had at the Airport Poddotel. CHEERS to the entire staff and THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!

We stayed one night to be close to the airport for an early flight. Difficult to find, even with GPS. Dining options in the area were plentiful. Free shuttle was perfect. Airport noise was expected, but we were close to the elevator and heard the ding of the doors for most of the night. Room was adequate. Staff was helpful and friendly. Ok for the price. I would get a room far from the elevator. Plenty of security in the area because of all the restaurants.

Basic airport hotel, as advertised & expected. Close to airport & in a complex with fast food restaurants which was useful given the short stay between flights. Wouldnt advice using airport transfer that they advertise. Was told toncall when in arrivals area which we did. Staff didn't seem to know where the driver was & if pick up was even an option. They eventually said it would be at least an hour before we could be picked up. We got a grab instead as didnt want to wait this long. Transfer back to the airport was advertised at running every 30 minutes & we were asked to pre-book this. We booked for the 5am pick-up & were eventually picked up at 5:20am. Reception staff weren't particularly helpful at chasing this. Overall would recommend for a single night between flights but would advice using grab for taxis instead of relying on transfers

Excellent service by all hotel staff. The free shuttle to airport is added bonus. I have to tip the driver as if i’ve taken a grab taxi.
One suggestion to hotel management: please install at least one or two handle bars in the shower room, floor as it is very slippery and nothing to grab on. The staff has cautioned me on the slippery floor.

I was assigned to Room 8, there was a problem with the washroom, water is not draining well. There is always a water left over on the floor that doesn’t dry. Slipper is not provided. So you need to use your outdoor shoes and when you step on the water it becomes muddy.

I have to say, for people needing a smooth airport shuttle service, quick sleep, this is a perfect place. They are also flexible on the check in and breakfast according to my sched.

The only downside is i was placed in the room near the reception which is very noisy. However, this is just a little exchange to the other things important to me which was addressed.

Someone needing a quickstop over from provice whilst waiting for my international airport flight.

Hence i give excellent review.

For those on a VERY LIMITED budget - a poor-quality hotel with a no-window messy room with airplanes flying overhead all night. We had a 16 hour stopover in Manila and chose a cheap hotel - big mistake. Would not stay there again!

I had an 0530hrs flight to Hong Kong so this was the perfect location. Close to the airport and with a free shuttle bus.

Good choices for food within a 200 metre walk and a shop in the hotel also with drinks and food.

It was very inexpensive and I got what I paid for. Ample AC. Free shuttle to airport terminal. On the downside, the sheets were very very rough, mattress was hard and bumpy, like sleeping on a box spring. Despite the fact that the walls have “sound proofing”, the jets from the adjacent airport were very loud and frequent. The staff was efficient but not “nice”. The included breakfast was “adequate”.

I booked the hotel because it is close to the airport and not expensive. The hotel was outstanding compared to other same price hotels. Clean room, strong AC, comfortable bed, secure room. This is the 2b time that I have stayed at Airport Poddotel. It is small, inexpensive and not luxurious, but when most of the flights from the US arrive in Manila very late at night and you have to catch an earlier morning flight at Terminal 4. This is a great place to drop anchor for a couple hours. Take a Grab for 180 PP, be greeted by a very friendly staff, drop your luggage, go to the Metro Manila bank and withdraw currency, go right next door to the 24 Jollibee.

In the morning the staff has a free shuttle to terminal 4. Take the shuttle for the .22 mile walk the street is a highway and the shuttle is a safe option. I will continue to stay here when making that trip.
