Poor stay and high prices.

The hotel is in poor condition. The room has a bed on the floor. The vaterpressure was poor. The villas is very small and has no furniture inside expect the bed. There wardrobe and hangers are zero in numbers. The staff is polite and nice. The surrundings are with a lot of lefs and we see a snake with a frog in mouth....

Spent 5 nights at The C Samet in a poolside bungalow with an amazing view of the pool and ocean. The bungalows are simple but clean with extremely friendly staff and a nice beach-side breakfast. The resort is within easy access of plenty of bars and restaurants along the picturesque, crescent bay. A perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday. I will definitely be returning with my family in the future.

Met on the beach by staff waiting for us on arrival, excellent! Standard breakfast, quite good. Pool was a little chilly, but great to cool off as it was quite warm. Nice beach but not enough furniture, only about 8 or 10 loungers for the entire hotel, people went early, laid out towels and saved spots, only to not use them and return hours later, very frustrating. We had a cabana up a rather steep flight of uneven stairs, I’d recommend good footwear if you are unstable on your feet or ask for something closer to the beach. Probably more $$$. Overall a great stay and lovely staff. Oh yes and there was a book exchange in the lobby, nice touch.

The resort is located at quiet end of the beach with calm turquoise sea. However, just a stroll away from the local restaurants. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room had sea view, had a pleasing simple decor and was kept very clean. Definitely recommended for a relaxing holiday.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were decently sized and clean. Buffet breakfast at the beach is an amazing way to start your day. Pool is a good size and very clean in and around it. Only a shirt walk along the beach to bars, restaraunts and a mini-mart. Coming and going from Ving Duean pier is so easy and quick to access the hotel. Overall, great location, fantastic staff and a lovely, clean quiet hotel. Highly recommend

Perfect weekend getaway

C Samet is a lovely little hideaway right on the beach. The cabins are basic but comfortable and it was such a treat to wake up, sit on my little deck, and listen to the surf while watching the sun rise. Sugar soft sand on the beach, activities and restaurants just steps away - it was a perfect laid-back weekend.

Good location on the beach, quiet part away from the noise and crowds. saw some exotic birds in the woods,very nice.
Stayed in family room. The room and bath room are very basic, almost no furniture except two beds. We had to throw our clothes and suitcases on the floor.

Could have been so much more...

The water pressure in the room was almost non existent and the new floor tiles were very slippery, especially when your feet are wet! Breakfast was good and the staff are very helpful. The location is great, quiet with calm waters.

Another good choice on Vongdeuan Bay

The room is still looks new, i got a sea view room which the room size is ok for 2 persons. The room comes with hair dryer, air con, tv and mini fridge.

The bathroom is quiet spacious if you compare with the same-price hotel across the island. overall stay is good.

There are 2 small points that hotel might need to improve is the transportation information from website and the staff regarding to the shuttle and the pier. Another point is the food, the taste still needed to be improved.

Wonderful Location

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at end of February 2018. Everyone judges hotels differently so I appreciate what bothers some people won't bother others but this is what we experienced.

The hotel itself is located (in our opinion) at the best end of the beach; quiet and shallow waters. The room we booked was okay, but the cleanliness was not the best (toothpaste or soap splashes left round tap and tiled splash back area from previous guests and mirror smeared); towels were quite threadbare and one had a hole in it. Some linen had what looked like bleach marks. The landscaping resembles a building site in some areas and the walkways to the room where we stayed was very uneven in places. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach could do with being cleaned up as there is a lot of debris, mainly plastic, food wrappers coming from the sea but this is not necessarily the hotels sole responsibility. Hotel has it's own restaurant and quite a few restaurants and massage places along beach but all pretty much priced the same.

Beach not very large and can walk from one end to the other and return in 20-30 minutes depending on how fast you want to walk.

We would probably stay at this hotel again based purely on the location but I do feel that it could be done with an external makeover.

We stayed for 2 nights at the resort, it is the best place for beach vacation, the beach is absolutely perfect for relaxing, since it is located in the quiet side of the beach. We have booked a standard room with see view. It was very basic and we were aware of that, but the mattresses should be improved. They are not comfortable at all. Also the the shower and the water flow is not the best you can expect for. Breakfast is very basic, but the overall service was good. I would recommend this resort for people who are looking for quiet low budget vacation on the perfect Thailand beach.

Friendly service and quiet beach

We came October 2016. They were doing a lot of remodeling all over the resort which is fine because it will look much nicer after and it's the off season anyway. They gave a free room upgrade to put us further from the maintenance. Manager nice and have us a \"breakfast box\" and walked us to our taxi the last day. Quiet beach with many nearby resorts with bars and restaurants. The food at C Samet was great but no drinks offered since bar closed for construction. Overall I liked it and would definitely return because now I want to see what the finished resort will look like. Again very nice staff.

Got a free upgrade to a beach view villa and the food served at the restaurant was good. Staff were very nice and polite. Love the hammock and swings at the trees. WiFi isn't the best but the rest of it made up for it. =) love it that there ain't that much people as well.

Supernöjda med allt! Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bra frukost, fräscha rum. Bokade en beachvilla seafront och vaknade till vågornas brus varje morgon, så härligt! Gick barfota dygnet runt. Fin strand med möjlighet till lite snorkling och bra utbud av restauranger, men ändå avslappnat och lugnt. Kommer defintivt återvända hit!

Schöne, teure Bungalows am schönen weißen Strand! Das Meer ist diesmal leider nicht glasklar, wir vor 2 Jahren , aber es ist zum Baden sauber genug.
Das Personal ist höflich, nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Der Familienbungalow 401 hat eine sehr leise gut funktionierende AC, die so einstellbar ist, das diese nicht auf die beiden Queensize Betten pustet.
Kühlschrank, TV nur mit Thai-Sendern, hot shower sind vorhanden. Auf der Terrasse befinden sich ein kleiner Tisch samt 2 unbequemen Holzstühlen. Im Zimmer gibt es keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten, es liegt also alles auf dem Boden. Die Deckenhöhe ist sehr niedrig, ca.nur 2m.
Das Klo liegt ca. 10cm tiefer und ist komplett schief nach unten geneigt, die Klotür ist ca.1,7m hoch, also ich habe mir mehrfach den Kopf angestoßen!
Zustellbett wurde uns für die Tochter 13 keines angeboten, wir müssten trotzdem 700 Baht extra zahlen für Sie.
Es wird täglich 2 Minuten kurz gereinigt und die Betten werden gemacht.
Die Familienbungalows befinden sich erhöht am Ende der Anlage, für ganz kleine Kinder und alte Leute wohl nicht die beste Wahl.
Der umliegende Garten sieht nicht allzu gepflegt aus, der Pool ist sauber , aber nur bauchtief.
Das Frühstück ist nichts besonderes, wenn genug Leute da sind gibt es Buffet, wenn nicht kann man bestellen soviel man möchte. Der Eierkoch bereitet bereitet Omelette frisch auf Wunsch zu. Es gibt Toast, 3 Marmeladen,Butter,Melone und Ananas, Müsli,Cornflakes, Milch,Pad Thai Chicken, Reissuppe, Instantkaffe

Tout est cher sur Koh Samet donc ne pas s'attendre à un palace pour le prix. Bungalow familial correct avec deux grands lits. En revanche absolument rien pour poser ou ranger ses affaires. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand, der verglichen mit anderen Stränden auf Koh Samet sehr sauber ist. Das C Samet Resort liegt in der linken Ecke der Bucht; zum Glück. Ansonsten gleicht die Bucht an Feiertagen nämlich einer Kirmes.

Leider gibt es zum passablen Frühstück nur Instantkaffee und den richtigen Kaffee aus der Siebträgermaschine gibt es zu unverschämten 4 € die Tasse. Lieber Tee zum Frühstück und den besten Espresso Macchiato im Hotel nebenan.

Wir haben nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt, weil unseres direkt vor dem Pool lag und wir keine Lust auf Kindergeschrei hatten. Leider wurde unsere Anfrage abgelehnt, da das Hotel ausgebucht sei. In Wahrheit standen aber mehreren Bungalows noch leer.

Alles in allem für ein paar Tage abschalten von der Megacity Bangkok ok, an Wochenenden bzw. Feiertagen mit Horden von laut ausgelassen feiernden Chinesen nur bedingt zu empfehlen. Allerdings ist es nicht ganz so schlimm wie am Ballermann...

Unbedingt einen Scooter mieten und einen Tag die Insel (die grauen und die schönen Seiten) abklappern.

Домики/номера очень простенькие, снаружи выглядят хуже чем внутри. Внутри живности нет, нет и мебели. Есть зато телевизор, чайник, холодильник, в ванной есть набор для душа, мыло, щетки. В целом нормально. Территория страшненькая, но мое совсем рядом. Бассейн чистый, завтрак хороший, можно наесться на весь день при желании. Несколько горячих блюд, сосиски, бекон, фрукты. Море мелкое и теплое. Рядом много ресторанов, недалеко есть магазинчик. Само место пожалуй лучшее на этом пляже, так как мало людей, есть тень от деревьев. Лежаки свободные и бесплатные. Вайфай слабый, только почту и интернет почитать. Иногда отваливается. Матрасы жёсткие, пружины торчат.

Отель оставил двойственное впечатление, месторасположение - отличное, крайний в бухте, есть место для снорклинга. Пляж -хороший.
Но сам номер категории family cottage ( #402) - оставляет желать лучшего. Находится на холме -(40 ступеней вверх), в номере не было антимоскитных сеток. Минимум мебели -2 кровати, тумбочка под ТV, кондиционер и холодильник.
При заселении также обнаружили, что номер был убран наспех, постельное белье было не свежим, вероятно не сменили после предыдущих постояльцев. После обращения на ресепшен при нас быстро произвели смену постельного белья.... Но впечатление это подпортило..... .Завтраки- хорошие. В целом рекомендую, но отелю есть над чем поработать.... и обязательно контролировать службу уборщиков.

Det stod att det var loftgång till rummet. Det var smala, ojämna stentrappor upp till bergsluttningen var stugorna var. Mycket brant och svårt att ta sig till stugan.Hade bokat och betalat för 3 personer men det fanns bara 2 kaffekoppar, två glas, en liten hotelshampo o inga handdukar.

Отель расположен на отличном пляже, на этом его достоинства заканчиваются. Номера совсем уж скромные, полотенец для рук не дают, детская кроватка платная, бокалы в номер платные. В первый же день начал капать кран, после того, как его «починили» на утро была огромная лужа в санузле, после того как его «починили» во второй раз вообще случился потоп. Пляжные полотенца по утрам всегда были «в стирке», лежаков не хватало, столов для завтрака тоже, завтрак очень уж скудный. Напор в душе и унитазе очень слабый, как и wifi... однозначно этот отель не стоит своих денег, спасает его только расположение в спокойном красивом месте. Домики которые чуть выше и вроде как с видом на море очень неудобно расположены, долго до него идти и по высоким ступеням, либо через косогор, что с маленьким ребёнком очень уж неудобно...

Hotell med bra läge och fin strand.Vi hade strul vid incheckning , bokning hittades inte när vi anlände. Rummet vi fick stämde inte överens med bilder på hemsida. Rummet var slitet och inga förvaringsskåp för kläder. Frukost och städning var ok. Hade inte velat bo där längre än de tre nätter vi hade där.

Stället, maten , stranden och ffa personalen var mycket tillmötesgående å trevlig! En av personalen kunde bra engelska vilket underlättade och gav tillgång till hur olika sakerfunkade vilket annars hade varit svårt att förstå! Sand som mjukt mjöl, turkost vatten.
Negativt var nattliv från andra ställen på kväll å natt. Inte från vårt hotell.
Inget att lägga eller hänga kläder på på rummet, bra städning.
Därför är det bara ett 3,5 hotell ej fyra

L'hôtel est plutôt calme. Les bungalows sont aménagés avec goût . L'excellent emplacement invite à la détente . L'intégration dans la végétation est très bonne et ne defigure pas le caractère de l'île . Un bémol: literie très ( trop ferme) absence de placard de rangement pour les vêtements qui devront rester dans la valise. Le petit déjeuner est varié, frais, abondant. Très bon rapport qualité / prix pour cet établissement .

Nice bungalow but to expensive for the location

Me and my girlfriend stayed in a beachfront bungalow but it is not worth the price, just as nice at the second front. And we did not have any hot water. The breakfast is very nice and also has a omelette cook. Great food and very relaxing resort
