In a perfect location in Downtown Danang, this is an excellent choice for a hotel. Walking distance to dozens and dozens of nice restaurants, diners, and local eateries. Lots of great beer places nearby for the craft beer aficionado, and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The view from the rooftop swimming pool is worth the stay! The rooms are clean and modern, and the mattress was quite comfortable. 100% recommended!

Staff are super friendly, we stayed in a river view room which is amazing as we can see the dragon bridge night view from the window.

The only negative thing is the bathroom got a very strong mouldy smell even though we turned on exhaust fan all night. The owner actually upgrade the bathroom but somehow the water didn’t drain down properly and stay in the bathroom at all time.

Yep still 5 stars for the property.

Mouldy dirty room.

2* conditions! We had to ask to be moved to another room due to very bad mould smell in first room. The second wasn’t much better and staff sprayed some chemical to mask the smell, argued the hotel was fully booked and we would be moved next day. We didnt. Given this hotel is rated 4* and we got a Superior Room, it was anything but superior. Mould, dirt, a window into a pillar of some sort, small (30cm between bed and walls either side), shower overfilled. Nothing like the window pictures advertised on the website. We are now on antihistamines as Reception didnt seem to care about the concept of Allergy! Or maybe it was just very poor english but even with translate… Otherwise, good location and decent breakfast, but you would do better going elsewhere in DaNang.

Really enjoyed the pool and quick stay here.
Staff were very attentive.
Problem in the room sorted out within minutes.
A/C at breakfast would have been good, and in lobby area.
Decor a little dated, but it was comfy, clean, large and quiet.
Shower big enough for two. Mirror also!
Da Nang airport 4km away....100k vnd, not 400k vnd! Hoi An 350k vnd taxi.
Massage (in the street) 60 mins 250k vnd. Not fancy, but very firm.
Rooftop bar nice space to sit. Fab view....next to pool area.
Breakfast beautifully presented and wide selection.

I don’t know about the rooms but we booked the suite.

👍 the suite is spacious; nicely split into 2 sections which is optimal if one of the two is working remotely.
👍 the view of the Han River from one section and that of Dragon Bridge on from the other section.
👍 centrally located with no lack of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Everything is in walking distance. Me Khe beach and downtown near airport is 3km 🚶
👍 Good breakfast though not elaborate.
👍 the staff is very attentive.
👍 the Sen Spa only 50m away is simply fabulous…the best foot reflexology I’ve ever had.

👎 the biggest put-off - the daily house cleaning is atrocious. They’re done in 5-7 min flat. The cups are not replaced if they’re not in their exact spot. If it’s on the coffee table, it stays there, dirty. The bathrooms are not cleaned everyday unless personally supervised. The hotel really needs to retrain the cleaning ladies.
👎 the hotel site shows the River view but it is partial. Mom It is blocked in the centre by another building in front.
👎 the roof top bar is just pathetic!
👎 the taxi arranged by the hotel is always more expensive. Book grab yourself.
👎 perhaps understandable why the hotel doesn’t offer free cancellation policy.

The shower is terrible. The shower water hits the corner and water is constantly spilling over. It makes the bathroom floor wet and potentially a safety hazard. Another issue is the bed size. I booked for a family of 4. One of the beds could barely hold two people. My son actually fell in middle of night. Also the light at the door is on a motion sensor, so it keeps flickering on and off. It’s really annoying.

It’s an overall good stay, but some annoyances.

The service was great. Hotel Manager takes a lot of pride in his work, him and his staff provide exceptional service, are very kind, provide their personal whatsapp number to reach in case of any issues. I had issues purchasing Bana Hills tickets online so they assisted and also arranged the car transfer for our day trip to Bana Hills the next day. It says 3 stars on google reviews but I would say after staying here that it is a 4 star hotel. Clean room, buffet was good, service was great.

Good hotel, great location, pool could be cleaner but had a very nice view of the river and the dragon bridge. Room was good, nice shower. Very small gym, air con didn't work unfortunately (but I also didn't ask, they might have been able to fix it). The staff was amazing. Phung in particular went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us plan our stay and ongoing trip.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel. As soon as I checked in they asked straight away if I was going to Hoi An or Ba NA Hills and even offered to book a tour with both.

I was quite tired so later on I booked a day at Ba Na Hills and the hotel arranged all the tickets and transport.

The stay itself was lovely, the room was convenient and the pool on the rooftop gave an amazing view of the Dragon Bridge, just like in the image. The only issue I had where the light switches as trying to switch all of them off before bed is like a small puzzle.

At the price point we paid (AUD180/night), you would expect a little more in terms of how the room is presented. Its not poor by any means but just rather dated and basic for the dollars paid.
Location is great through, as were the pool facilities.
Breakfast is exceptionally poor and something to forget - the taste, the spread and the choices offered. Its based on a set, with 3 options offered; not a buffer by any means.

Dragon bridge views

We stayed for one night in Danang to see the Dragon bridge breathing fire. This only happens on Sat. And Sun. The hotel was very kind and moved us to a higher floor with a great bridge view when I told them it was the reason for our visit. The rooftop infinity pool is amazing with incredible views in almost every direction from the 15th floor including the dragon bridge. We chose to take the 45 min. river cruise at 7pm to see the city and 3 bridges in lights then headed By a short taxi ride to the viewing area on the river for drinks and dinner. At 9pm the restaurant held our table so we could run across the street and watch first the flames and then the water and steam. Those standing closest on the bridge got wet! All in all a great visit and the hotel location was excellent.

Val Soleil Hotel is central to many eateries. Walking distance of the river and other points of interest. Buffet breakfast service was friendly but warm food was served cold or was not kept heated throughout the service. Cold potato is not a dish recommended.
The receptionist, Trang was very helpful in arranging any tours, taxi service and supplying information on available activities. Pool area is small, but very convenient and the view is breathtaking.

Roof top pool and bar at top of hotel was great. Spent every evening up there. Fabulous views overlooking dragon Bridge... Not just part of bridge all of it. Bridge lights up at night and that was lovely to see. Staff excellent. Location of hotel perfect for us. Heaps of eateries spas around. U r able to eat at hotel if u don't wish to go out. We walked over bridge to see lights at night. We were on floor 11 which gave us excellent views. Room spacious. Breakfast adequate... Plenty of choice. Can order eggs.

Not a great hotel but OK. Room and bed on the 14th floor were fine. The bathtub/shower arrangement is sub part. It's a big step to get out of the bathtub and even with the shower curtain closed, the bathroom floor gets soaked. Elevators and breakfast space felt very hot. The view out our window of the dragon bridge was nice. Wi-Fi was excellent. Omelettes at breakfast were tasty but, otherwise, breakfast was much more Korean than Western. There weren't a lot of choices for a western palate

Great stay at Val Soleil! Place is new and in amazing condition, rooms are very well priced for the size and comfort.

Positive: Definitely the rooftop pool, which is of a good size, complete with a beautiful view of the dragon bridge (although the pool is cold and not suitable during cooler months). The traditional breakfast buffet is also great.

Negatives: Being quite a new hotel the service could be improved - limited travel advice and help was provided. Staff seem to limit advice to selling their private car services (grab and taxi is cheaper) - however housekeeping is good. The design of the shower head is also angled in a weird position.

Hotel location is fairly near to the airport (10 mins by car) and a block away from the Han River with a gorgeous night view over the Dragon Bridge. Staff were all very nice and helpful. We requested a pickup at the airport upon arrival, but when we didn't see the driver, we contacted the hotel manager and was told the car broke down on the way. She got everything sorted right away and even came with the driver to pick us up in person (and with a sincere apology), that was a respectful act. I highly recommend this hotel especially first time travellers like us. We really enjoyed our stay there!

I'm glad I found this at Expedia for my family , booked 2 rooms. Best location in the city . Nice view of the dragon bridge from the top floor. The ladies at reception helped us in everything we need. They were eager to hear feedback from guests so they can improve service as the hotel is only new. The porter is always smiling . I sat at the lobby one afternoon and he worked hard sorting out the bags for the guests who left them after check out and come back. The day we checked out , he made sure our bags were all in the car. The guy upstairs in orange shirt is very helpful too trying to give us some tips to do,proper work out in the gym. I salute to all the staff , well done .

새벽 비행기로 출국예정이라 씻고 잠시 쉬러 간 호텔이었습니다. 예약시 조용한 방 부탁드렸었고 조용한 방에서 쉬다 왔어요. 객실문이 무겁고 손잡이를 힘주어 끝까지 돌려야 해서 조금 불편했고 체크인, 채크아웃 시 도로에서 호텔 입구에 벨보이가 안 계셔서 가방 들고 오으락 거리디 불편.

リバーサイドのトリプルルームを利用しました。
バストイレ別で快適、窓からはドラゴンブリッジも見れました。
プールも綺麗、バーはちょっといいお値段がします。
ホテルの従業員の方はフレンドリーで、少しですが日本語が話せる方もいました。
朝食も種類があっておいしかったし、場所も良く、便利です。

I had a very bad experience at Val Soleil Hotel, mainly due to the receptionist. He was rude and asked to keep my passport overnight, which made me very uncomfortable. He also asked if he could take a photo of my credit card, which is completely unacceptable. The check-in process was a disaster – I was given the wrong key card twice, and the entire process took far too long. His behavior embarrassed me in front of other guests. I have traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels, but I have never encountered anything like this. This person really should find another job!

한시장 근처에 위치해있어서 주변 관광하기가 편하고 성인2 아동2로 방잡기엔 여기만 더블침대가 2개라 편했습니다.

立地よく快適滞在

川沿いから1本入った道沿いで徒歩で川沿いまで出るとゴールデンブリッジが見れます。
徒歩圏内にカフェや飲食店、スパもあり困りません。フロントは英語が通じ何でも相談に乗ってくれます。部屋は広く快適で個人的にバスルームと洗面台が独立していたのが使いやすく良かったです。シャワーのお湯も水圧も水はけも充分です。

우선 한 시장과 한 강이 근처에 있어서 다니기 쉬웠습니다.
그리고 호탤 주변에 마사지 업체가 많아서 굳이 멀리 가지 않더라고 선택 가능한 곳이 많았고 루퍼탑 수영장도 마음에 들었습니다. 숙소도 굉장히 넓고 교통편도 찾기가 쉬운 곳이었고 공항도 가까워서 공항 가는 길이 불편하지 않았어요.
특히 체크인을 일찍 했는데 친절한 직원께서 무리없이 체크인을 해 주셔서 일정에 차질없이 다니기도 좋았습니다.
우리 방은 욕조가 있어서 씻기도 편했고 루퍼탑 수영장이나 숙소에서 한 강이 보여서 좋았네요.
내년에 다낭에 친구 붑와 같이 갈 예정인데 최소 1박은 여기서 할 예정입니다.

Excellent séjour à Da Nang

Très bon séjour de cinq nuits au Val Soleil Hôtel. Le personnel est aux petits soins, les chambres impeccables, le petit déjeuner varié et copieux. La piscine pour se délasser en fin de journée est très appréciable avec une super vue sur le pont du dragon. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait également.

침대 더블+싱글이라 3인가족 편하게 잤고 조식은 종류가 많지는.않았지만 맛있게 잘 먹었고 위치가 좋아서 한시장을 매일 갔다왔네여. 호텔 투어로 급 바나힐+점식식사투어까지 했어요 재방문 의사 있습니다

フロントやレストランの人に覚えていただいて、日本語のあいさつやいろいろ気配りしていていただいた。
ドラゴンブリッジの見えるプールも良かったし、知り合いに勧められるホテルです。
