Best book your taxi to leave before you arrive as there's nothing around the hotel – no driver, no restaurant, etc.

Old and not well maintained facilities, not good cleaning was carried and service also under expectations (our driver was also surprised by the concierge service not coming to great us at arrival and help with luggage). We changed hotel after the first night.

A lovely place to stay close to the beach

We had to find a last-minute hotel close to both the airport and the beach in the Denpasar area, and this hotel was perfect. It was inexpensive, but didn't feel cheap. The room was perfectly adequate, the pool was lovely, and the breakfast was good. It is an easy walk to the beach and the resort area, without having to pay resort prices. Great find!

A hidden gem on a forgotten piece of beach.

Our stay here was great, overall. The hotel is neat, the pool is very nice for a relaxing swim. The staff is also very friendly and can easily help you get a cab, (motor)bike or transfer to or from the airport.
The only downside of this hotel is its location. You do have a glimpse of the sea from the restaurant area which is very lovely, but it's located at the end of the beach. A part that isn't as lively as the places further down.

In short: an amazing find with great value for money, but be sure to take a stroll further down the beach if you're looking for a nice place to eat.

Don't believe the pictures!

The photos of this property are at least 10 years old. It's very run down, the pool is not clean (very cloudy), and the linen and bedding is very old. Nothing like the pictures as advertised here. Will definitely not be returning here.

Good hotel, short walk to beach

Very good hotel at low cost. Easy walk to beach. Beach not as attractive as those 15 minutes walk away, with hotels four or six imes the cost, but that didn’t bother us. One comment for hotel management: Appearance of water in the pool was not as clear and clean as it could be - that didn’t bother me but it did my wife who didn’t go swimming.
Excellent service from the staff .
I strongly recommend hotel for any budget conscious vacationer.

Pleasant hotel. Small. Basic breakfast. Quiet location, enjoyable stroll to the beach, restaurants etc. Lovely cheap restaurant 'mama putu' nearby. Garden view suite suited our needs travelling with a toddler, we were able to put her cot in the lounge area and retire to the bedroom with the attached bathroom, not disturbing her. Staff were nice. A little confusion over a late checkout due to lack of english, but outside of that we had a great experience...oh and the blanket on our bed was too small for the bed...

Small, quiet hotel near the beach

This hotel is only small. It's perfect for those wanting a quiet peaceful stay. The pool is small but very nice. Breakfast is limited in variety, you are fine if you like egg, but not a big deal. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Only thing I would say it the bathroom could do with updating a little.

Hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the beach where you can find many restaurants. Definately a good hotel for the price!

looking at the hotel is different to what you see on arrival
First let down was the so called airport shuttle which there isnt one The driver who was to meet me was not there a man with on his shirt rang the driver who was supposed to be there who had the excuse of mixed up times of plane will be another hour or so
went with this driver to the hotel had to pay $50.00 australian (was only supposed to be round $20 aus
the welcome was pleasant the room was upstairs I did want ground. went to have a shower NO water???
management was baffled had to wait till next day to change room had a swim instead
sea front is a muddy dirty rubbish filled creek the sea is another800 metres away more to find a spot to swim in
Told 3 times room will be ready at 10am was not, 11am was not 1pm still not!!!! I decided I would check out the markets along the beach front very good nice fresh food too
Back to hotel round 4pm manager said why wasnt I there to change rooms at 11am???? Ask your staff!!) downstairs room had working shower no bidet a big gap where the door closes gave anyone a view inside so pulled curtain round door handle and it was noisy from 6am every day not the place to sleep in
Remember to allow 4 hours to check into internatal flights
The building is old charm pity it is not cleaned better garden is nice view of stone wall, blocks of the mud creek

Lovely quiet peaceful hotel

Sanur Seaview is a quiet friendly small family run hotel about two minutes walk from the beach. It is a very attractive place, laid out in an interesting way. The staff are kind and helpful, and gladly do anything they can for you. It is not the heights of luxury, but it is a comfortable, safe convenient place to enjoy Sanur from, and for the price, excellent value. itting on the veranda for breakfast is a wonderful start to the day! We had a perfect stay there, nothing to complain about.

Great budget hotel

This hotel is a great hotel if you are looking for somewhere cheap but comfortable to stay. I would recommend a smoking room as these have chairs outside the room, whether you smoke or not it's nice to sit and look over the pool. We chose non-smoking and our room was on the second floor behind the other rooms, so we had no where to sit outside. It's also a 10 minute walk from the closest main drag for restaurants (Jl. Cemara) so if you don't know Sanur well and/or aren't willing to walk a little bit, it's probably not the hotel for you, although it's right near the end of the beach pathway so within walking distance to many great beach restaurants!

Our stay away from the sea

We arrives late, not really sure about the area, but needing a room for one night, before heading up to Ubud. We had expected that the hotel was near the \"Sea\" given that the name implies there is a \"Seaview.\" Spoiler alert, there isn't. The bed felt like it was made of cotton balls and the room itself smelled of mold. The bathroom, when taking a shower, turns into a flood plain, because even though there is a shower vs rest of the bathroom, there is no difference in the floor to keep water in the shower area. Worst of all, this hotel is in an area of Sanur that is nowhere near anything else, including what other people might think of as, you guessed it, Sanur. Overall, while this hotel has the appearance of being nice on the outside, we really did not enjoy our stay and felt duped. I guess this is what we should expect from such a cheap hotel. Next time we'll do a little more due dilligence before booking.

Nice Homely Hotel - Quiet

We found this hotel online and enjoyed our stay, the owner/manager was helpful to us, very cheerful and happy, I enjoyed talking to him. The room we booked had a lovely large bathroom and was spotlessly clean - the room was upstairs and had a view over the harbour/yacht mooring and some of the beach, very handy to the beach walk. There was a lovely breeze at night on the balcony and the neighbours who were sitting outside their room were very social, in fact a lot of the people staying there were really friendly. The pool was central and although we didn't seem to get a chance to use it, it looked good. Very nice upstairs room with a view.

Overall we were happy with the accommodation, as was roomy (3 rooms), airy & light. Clean towels (no face washers) bottled water were regularly replaced.
However we felt the level of cleanliness needed to improve, as we had to ask them to scrub the soap scum of the tiles. Glass top table had cup marks on. One pillow once we removed the case, had blood stains on.
The staff are friendly, helpful & happy to call taxis & make bookings.
Lovely view of sea inlet as have breaky in there open air dining room.

Good for a budget stay

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week tour of Bali. The hotel was pretty standard and clean. The pool was very appealing, although there isn't any room for sun loungers. There are some sun loungers facing towards the beach on the hotels grounds. The location is right on the beach, but a very quiet part of the beach. To get to the busier part, it's just a ten minute walk. Accessing restaurants and bars is a little trickier, with a 15-20 walk, which is fine during the day, but in the evening there's little light around which can be a bit intimidating. We found the hotel staff pleasant and helpful.

Close to beach but needs upgrading and a little tlc. Agus is the perfect person at this hotel. Got potential to be the best hotel in sanur. Breakfast was ok but buffet will be better so there is more choice. Pool needs cleaning more often. Walls are a bit thin so conversation has to be too quite. Will suite retiring people. Rooms are massive but needing tlc. Pictures on site are the deluxe rooms not the other rooms. Deceiving a little but our room was big and we did like it.

Miles away from anywhere with view of the mangrove

Staff were great but hotel facilities that were advertised were sadly lacking. No bar, only a fridge at reception with beer and soft drinks, very limited menu for breakfast and lunch and one takeaway menu for dinner. It was also advertised that we got breakfast with our room and we had to pay for it before we left. No tea making facilities in room or phone. Advertised shuttle to Sanur only runs after 4 if available, so we had to ring taxis to pick us up. Also, the shuttle to airport we had paid for did not contact us at hotel for pickup and their phone number was not contactable so we had to pay for a driver to the airport at 4am. Ball KU tours sent me an email after 12 the next day and by that time we were back in Perth. Altogether, not a great experience

It is a nice hotel with good service. It is one of the cheaper hotels in Sanur but good quality. It is at the very end of Sanur which means that you need transport if you want to go ´downtown´. There are also no restaurants nearby but you can order good food to be delivered. At 1 km. The nearest beach and restaurant stalls are mostly for Balinese people which is nice and authentic.

Cheap hotel close to Sanur beach.

We arrived early morning and the reception staff assisted us immediately to get to our room. The room looked clean with 2 bottles of water but there was no kettle to make tea/coffee. Very small bathroom mat and the towels were washed in some sweetly detergent. Breakfast was uninspiring but when we discovered that the Nasi Goreng was delicious, we opted to eat that every day. No decent amounts of fruit included, even though it says fruit on the menu. Went to explore the area and ended up going along the canal, which was filthy. If you ask the staff and follow their directions, you'll end up going to the beautiful Sanur beach straight away. It takes only 10-15 minutes. I asked for the hairdryer and it was falling apart, too dangerous to use.

Great place to stay

The sea view room is very big, 2 bedrooms and a separate living room. Great for a family. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach which has casual local food & bbq, beer, snacks and fine dining along the sea shore. There's a bridge that goes to a small island for 20,000 RP to enjoy snacks and a look at the camel, I didn't go check that out but it's there. Breakfast was nice. Pool was nice. The town is quiet compared to the rest of Bali. I like that.

Like all beach side horels would be,
a bit far away from mainstream of life.
As you enter, yes, it feels like it needs a coat of paint.
But rooms are very well maintained.

Fantastic Service and Comfort

I had booked myself a room at another homestay in Sanur already but was very uncomfortable as i was a solo traveller, so late at night i emailed Sanur Seaview who arranged pick up from my destination early the next morning as i had plans the next morning. They checked my bags in for me so when i came back from the island everything was set up for me.
The room was fantastic, the hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle but was still close enough to get to the main street. The kind hotel staff were very accommodating to anything i needed.

Quiet Quaint Relaxing But Central to all.

As the name indicated the hotel is not on the beach, but does have a glorious view from the raised breakfast pavilion which overlooks the estuary system.The pavilion itself is cool and open and from traditional design.

Breakfast is delightful, from a set menu, and is prepared to order.

The pool was warm and sun drenched with a small sun baking and lounge area attached with pretty well all rooms of the two story building overlooking the pool area.

Our room was a suite, so had a living area with a separate bedroom. It was clean and comfortable, BUT there is no safe and the mattress was well worn.

TV (if you are interested) is only local channels. There is good fast wifi all over the grounds of the hotel.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk either along the streets or the beach front to Hardys Supermarket which is the best landmark I can give.

Staff were very helpful, offering advice and directions to places of interest.

A highlight of our trip.

Located in a quiet area, this hotel has a lovely ambience overlooking the balinese local end of the harbour. Kites were flying every evening in preparatioj for a competition. We found the staff to be outstanding. They were very generous, helpful & friendly. Motor scooters & bicycles are available for rent.

It was a nice cozy little boutique property at a stone throw from the Sanur beach- facing the sea. The staff was very friendly, warm and cordial. The only thing that the hotel lacked was a restaurant. They do have a kitchen which prepares a very decent breakfast though, but no food to order beyond that. Overall a very nice experience at a very decent price.

Sanur Beach Getaway

My Husband and myself stayed at Sanur Seaview Hotel a week ago and enjoyed our stay there. Staff very nice, especially Nyoman at the desk, who was always very helpful. The breakfast was average but sufficient for the rate you are paying and the room, a deluxe, was quite comfortable. Only local TV channel in the room but that was to be expected. The hotel is right at the Southern tip so a long walk or ride to the beach strip but that is OK if you don't mind the exercise. All in all a good place to stay at budget price and we enjoyed our stay there. Sanur beach itself exceeded my expectations and I will be happy to stay there again as not as busy as the legian/seminyak area and much more relaxed, alittle of the charm of old Bali.

This hotel is at very off location, no room has a proper seaview, all you see from your balcony is the thatched roof of reception area, Beach is minimum 30 mins walk away,
No restaurant so either order food through hotel staff or walk for 10 mins to nearby restaurant which are quite alright,

Alterations wasted if service doesn't improve

We stayed for 8 days at this hotel from mid August. We'd booked it as part of a package and it seemed fine for our needs. Our experience was ok, but there were some irritating points about the hotel that made us think a little effort by the owner could have made our stay much nicer. Firstly, building work was done in the middle of everything, which meant hopping over wet concrete in the foyer, to builders raising beams overhead while you ate your breakfast, and sawdust in your omelette. None of this was acknowledged in any way by the owner/ operator, leaving us feeling as if our holiday was getting in the way with the important business of building a hotel! (Fawly Towers) Secondly, the cleaning and hygiene, and linen service for the rooms was of a very low standard. We would have to ask for a clean (but decrepit) towel and bathmat each day, and our sheets, which were grey to start with, we're unchanged after eight days. Numerous of the guests seemed to have food poisoning during their stays, and we were unconvinced of how well the rooms were cleaned after all that. We used the laundry service during our stay and had to give up on some items after three days and four trips by the laundry person with items in various stages of unwashedness. It was a farce! Finally, the website shows generous rooms, but all the photographs have been taken with a very wide angle lens. Our room was smaller than average, with no seating area. Rats in the ceiling woke us each morning and night.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this hotel.This hotel has very calm clean hence vibrant environment.Staff are very helpful with big smile. We got very warm welcome when we arrived. Throughout out our stay we found all facilities are very comforting with no hassle.Room facilities are very clean and very accurate. Very good choice of breakfast available everyday. We also find it helpful when we been provide an hospitality room for one hours after the checkout to get ready to leave for airport because our flight was at night. Our all request and requirement was dealt with no hassle and an timely manner.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Needs urgent renovation

This hotel has the potential of becoming the best budget hotel in Sanur but I think the owners have no idea how to run a hotel. My suspicion is that the owners have active role in the running of this hotel and they are really stingy! The furniture are too old, the curtains have holes, even the cutlery is ancient but definitely not antic. The pool is too dirty to use! The staff are generally polite and happy to help you. This hotel is located near all the big resorts and if you rent a bike or bicycle you can go everywhere in Sanur. Owners please sell this hotel to me, make me a millionaire!

Get what you pay for

For budget hotel nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. A few problems with water supply, but allowed us to shower in unused room. Like the location away from main Sanur area, can walk or rent bike very easy. My biggest complaint would be the other guests. The front window has open slats, and you could hear everything. Some guests partied late into the night and staff seemed too scared to tell them to respect other guests. If you are a deep sleeper you will not be affected.

Beautiful view from lobby/dining area

My husband and I stayed here in the end of March for 11 nights.
Our room was big and we liked the location, in the very end of Sanur beach, but still in short stroll to some cafes, restaurants and shops. Morning coffee was very good, view from lobby/dining area was nice and stuff was friendly.
Below are some points you should be aware of before you book this hotel:
Hotel is under renovation so it is noisy and dusty from 8a.m. to 5p.m. daily.
Matrasses and pillows are very uncomfortable.
Breakfast is always choice of two dishes: Nosi goreng with fried egg or omelette with two toasts/butter/jam. A bit of watermelon and banana is also served.
There are no sun beds around the pool.

Overall we had a good stay.

Quite nice hotel

This hotel is located away from tourists but close enough to shopping, food, and beach. I feel I got more Bali experience becuase of this hotel. The room is very large with living room, bedroom, bathroom and closet. Everything inside is pretty basic but sufficient. The staffs are wonderful and friendly. The breakfast area is beautiful and peaceful.

Pleasant hotel snd good vslue for money

Overall a wonderful visit to Bali made all the more pleasant by the accommodatipn and the great staff there for whom no request was too much!

Pleasant hotel run by friendly and obliging staff

The only minor drawback is that it is not in walking distance from Sanur. However staff always ordered a taxi for us and fares were cheap.

Peaceful villa, large rooms, quiet location.

We stayed in Sanur because we don't like the frenetic hustle and hassle of Kuta/Legian. We wanted a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, not a party party party, and that is what we got at Pemandangan Laut. So you should first be aware of what makes Sanur different to Kuta.
I would describe Pemandangan Laut more like a villa environment than a hotel. It is not to be confused with a resort.
We had a large living room, large bedroom, separate bathroom, and a walk in wardrobe, so plenty of space. The pool and gardens are beautifully kept and provide a tranquil environment.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a bit repetitive - only eggs with toast or nasi goreng, with juice and tea and coffee. The coffee was very good. I would have liked to have had a few extras like bacon, tomatoes, sausages etc available for breakfast.
The location is not right on the good beach, although you do have an obstructed view of the beach, you need to hire a bike to get around conveniently. That was not a problem for us, we hired bicycles on the first day and were able to get around just fine with that.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and felt like we had experienced the relaxing friendly side of Bali and came away happy and refreshed.
