Room a bit tired but very clean and plenty of space. Pools are lovely, especially in Santrian Club area. Beautiful grounds will excellent access to the beach. Breakfast is standard buffet but nothing special. Good location of Southern part of Sanur. Enjoyable stay.

Wonderful location on the beach but removed from the hectic part. Make sure you try the free yoga class - wonderful instructor. We enjoyed cycling up the boardwalk. The breakfast was huge and varied. The staff were all very helpful. Thank you for having us.

Everything about Puri Santrian makes your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect for exploring or walks along the beach. If you want peace and quiet you have everything you need without going anywhere. Friendly, polite staff, clean, comfortable rooms, well kept gardens, different pool options and great selection from buffet breakfast. Our favourite area is Santrian Club as not only is the pool and gardens beautiful, it is quiet and peaceful and you are entertained by the squirrels!

We stayed in a bungalow near the pools and beach. It was fab! Clean, great air con and big bed. The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT! The best part was the beach. It’s the only beach within a long walk either way that doesn’t have ANY boats parked. Perfect calm water and sugar sand. They offer complimentary bikes (get them early!) to ride along the boardwalk. Walk left for 300m and you’ll find a lovely pocket of warungs on the beach with excellent cheap food and beers! Two pools which were lovely and lots of seating areas. Beach has tons of lounge options and the floating pagoda thingies are cool.

We stayed during low season and the hotel was not busy. I imagine it would be worth it to upgrade to the adults only section during the busy months if you want more quiet. They have a separate pool area. But for low season - you won’t be bothered at all! 10/10 would stay again.

First, at the check in we were attacked by mosquitos. Then at all restaurants and rooms mosquitos everywhere. No mosquito coils available. Nearly spoiled our stay. Would be so easy to spray or light coils to eradicate mosquitos.

Paid for deluxe adult wing . Very average . Rooms were noisy and we had to ask to be moved .pillows are all hard and lumpy and not pleasant . Food in restaurants was good but breakfast was extremely limited and average . Service was poor in the general areas of front desk etc. it felt like everything was a chore for them to do. Would not stay again

The resort external area is beautiful, I felt liked I was at the White Lotus show lol. The staff was great but the room was very average. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the restroom, most likely sewage and unfortunately I found a cockroach in my room which I would not expect for a hotel that costs ~300/night. They were very accommodating when I requested for a late (+1hr) checkout. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. Overall I would not recommend or come back.

Second time at Puri and didnt dissapoint again
Staff are great , for the most part quiet ,great location beachfront with small warungs close and some local shopping on the beach and along the jalan cemara if you can handle the bartering , walkable to Icon bali (45 minutes) or a 5 minuye taxi (100000 rupiah)with plenty restaurants and more shopping on the way
Definitely will be back next year

I had the Adults only Santrian Room, it was big, the bed was super comfy but it all looked old. Old is fine but I complained about the sewerage smell coming from the pipes, they gave me an oil diffuser.... The staff are really nice and they look after the grounds well. The food was lovely, brekky was great. The location was good.

Loved this property. Great feel from the moment you arrive. Lobby was beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive. We had a Santrian Club room, large size room, walk in shower (so not having to step into bath). Loved the fact it was child free space so very peaceful area, great pool. Breakfast was a buffet so lots of choices. Great main pool area with a pool bar if you’re wanting a more social atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

Loved the beach club and managed to enjoy the seafood BBQ which was delicious.

On arrival was given a voucher for afternoon tea of tea & cakes.

Lovely pools and poolside service, cocktails and food where I was able to wait for a late flight. The bar staff were knowledgeable and efficient, the porters and concierge were exceptional and they went above and beyond to make this a wonderful stay.

Thank you, Puri Santrian, will definitely return.

It’s a large resort hotel with a number of swimming pools and a great clean beach. The big problem is the almost constant smell of feces/extrement from a nearby garbage dump. When the wind and heat get up it blows over the resort. It’s a shame. The hotel should work with the local community office and sort it out. Given how much is invested in the hotel you would think this would be an absolute priority. I certainly wouldn’t stay there again for this reason.

We were so excited to stay at Puri Santrian our entire trip as this is the most expensive hotel we booked. We don't feel like it's a 4 star hotel.

The check in time was delayed for 40 minutes, and our bedding sheet was full of sand and debris. We had to get them to change it again.

The toilet is hardly working, the handle was loose.

There were literally very few staff by the pool side. Unlike other hotels we stayed at, they'd pro actively bring you a towel, water and menu. We had to find a staff member and ask for things, then no one would come to us to take orders... So we left

Then I walked to them and asked to take the order, still no one showed up.

The breakfast was pretty mid as well.

The up sides are they have amazing pools and staffs are friendly. The beach is quiet and highly recommended

We were woken up by the staff ringing our door bell around 8:45, asking us when we were going to check out.

We were so confused. Our check out time is 12pm, there's no reason to ring our bell early asking us this question.

comfy bed. We were in th Satrian club with its 2 pools, very relaxing.

I didnt request a ground floor. and had to walk up and down over 35 steps evertime we left our accommodation. a porter offerred to change our room but i was too tired at the time and especially when we had to wait till after 3pm to get in when our other friens had regular ground floor rooms and were in after 1.30 and we had to sit and wait till 3pm

The hotels gardens are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a prenier room which was huge and well furnished. The pool was for premier guests only and was gorgeous as well as adult only and tranquil. The hotel restaurants were very good and good value for money . The beach bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal or a drink. The Asian restaurant is gorgeous. The building is beautiful and the food excellent. Finally all members of staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling

Grounds are gorgeous but interior decoration a little tired. The decorative bedding smelt fusty and could use a dry clean. One room also had bit of a fusty smell overall and lines came under taps needs property descaled. Shower hot water takes a while to run hot. Staff couldn’t been more helpful and pleasant! Can walk Ali g beach to numerous restaurants.

An excellent resort hotel. What I loved the most here was the Balinese style of the place. The beautiful gardens, the excellent pool areas and building architecture place you very firmly in a Bali experience. Set right on the beach with a long walking promenade all along the beach leading to other restaurants, bars etc. Close by just outside the front gate there are many more places to eat and drink too. Food at the hotel is also very good. Service and friendliness of the staff was very good. Rooms are dark but well appointed and large. I've stayed in number of places along this busy coast and this is my pick - the one I'd come back to.

breakfast a bit repetitive, not enough vegetables. Shower head in bathroom adjustment not working. Hot water took ages to come and then scalding hot. Had to be careful.
Positives far outweigh negatives though and we loved our stay at the Puri.

We had to wait 4 hours for our room to be ready when we checked in, the bed and pillows were very hard and not comfortable and we were surrounded by families with small people and they were very noisy. Would have been better for us as a couple to be located away from the children. Stall lovely and facilities were adequate but would not stay here again

We were very happy with our allocated room and it was lovely and quiet.
The choice of pools to relax or swim and the beautiful gardens were fantastic.
Having the ocean a few metres away was also a plus .?
The time of year was very quiet but suited us.

Puri Santrian is lovely with lots of pools and in the gorgeous gardens in traditional Balinese style.
We got Queen beds instead of Twins (which we booked). The beds were huge and there were no twin rooms left so we had to share. Staff weren’t very helpful in reception.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, set both on the beach and main road. Our room was huge! and had a balcony overlooking the pool which was beautiful. There are lots of different swimming options at the hotel, and free bike hire. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the staff made you feel really safe and relaxed.

Very charming property in a relatively quiet area, good customer service and room service was efficient. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming towards guests staying at the hotel. The only thing to impove is the spa service. Although the spa I had was nice however I felt that the price was too high compared to other places that offer a similar service.

It was OK. We were truthfully there when it wasn't sunny so we didn't get to try out the pool and beach, which is obviously the main draw, but what I can say is that the room was pretty standard (despite having the premier deluxe) and the restaurant was forgettable.

Still, it is a good option if you are dead set on Sanur - we liked our time in Ubud MUCH more though if you were debating how to weight your trip.

The Puri Santrian is a very beautiful resort. Gardens are lush and private. The beach front has a large outdoor dining area, sunbeds and lounges for sunbathing and relaxing. It has two large pools that have steps into the pool for easy access. The staff were amazing and friendly. There are many restaurants just a short walk from the resort. Lots of shopping and services such as laundry and massages. loved the beach and the walking path along the beach. You can also hire bicycles for the day and ride along the bike path. Sanur was a pleasant surprise. I loved the hotel and Sanur was a pleasant surprise.

Every time I book a hotel room through Expedia, I get a terrible disgusting room. Hotels really don’t like customers booking rooms through Expedia, due to having to give up some of the money the customer pays.
I will not book another hotel room through Expedia, I don’t like staying in the worst room in the hotel. In the future, I’ll contact the hotel directly.

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel grounds are beautiful and you feel like you're in a temple. It's right next to the beach too which is amazing - plus the hotel pools are great so you're spoiled for choice!
We enjoyed our room even if it wasn't anything special, but it was clean and the bed super comfy!
The only small things were that food, drinks, spa and the hotel taxi were a bit expensive for the area, but it was convenient!
I also celebrated my birthday there and thought I may get a little treat (it doesn't have to be anything big!), but I didnt even get a 'happy birthday'.. Dont want to sound spoiled, but those small things is what makes a place stand out!
