Amazing hotel, western style rooms but wonderful garden view from large room balcony and there are lifts to all floors.
Staff were very attentive, and helpful. Check-in was easy, but note room not available until 2pm firm.
Pool was lovely, Wifi worked in all areas.
Great bar area, buffet breakfast was a great mix and the restaurant had fantastic theme nights, and drinks affirdable.
Location is easy to get around via walking or taxi.
Will definitely stay again.

This is a hotel that I definitely recommend. Everything in this hotel was excellent.
I especially liked the staff. I would like to mention Antari from the staff. She was very kind, communicated every time we came to eat, smiled. But I would like to pay special attention to the receptionist Fati. She is a treasure to the hotel. It was a pleasure to see her every time. She smiles and lifts my spirits all day long. If I needed help, I knew I could go to her. It was always a pleasure to chat with her. There was another admin girl, but unfortunately I don't remember the name. She is very good too. I think that for their good work, the hotel management should increase their salary or add bonuses.
The room was cleaned daily. There was always water, coffee, tea in the room. The pool is very clean and beautiful. In general, I definitely recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our time at the property. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast had plenty of options, the rooms were spacious and the property was very pretty.
But a word of warning, the beds are extremely hard. I have hip issues and my husband has back issues and the bed was too hard for us and we suffered from a lack of sleep. A new bed was installed in our room during our stay and was even harder than the original bed. (the hotel received new beds for all the rooms). I wish we could say we would come again, but we could not afford spending another stay with the aches and pains we endured and the sleeplessness. Seriously, there was absolutely no give at all in the beds and we have slept on many hard beds but this was the hardest we have encountered.
If you like hard beds, well this property is a great place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at Taksu Sanur for 12 nights. The hotel is in the quieter end of Sanur, much nicer than the overcrowded Northern part, with lots of great restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, convenience stores, spas etc within walking distance. Nice pool and outdoor area, comfy bed, beautiful buffet breakfasts. The highlight of our trip were the staff at Taksu. All so friendly, warm and welcoming, they really made us feel at home and relaxed. Terimah Kasih Antari, Astika,Sri, Lisa,Ita, Wirada, Desi, Ati and all the fantastic staff at Taksu, you made our stay wonderful!

We stayed at the Taksu Sumar for 19 days and found this hotel to be excellent.
The staff were first class and we could not fault them in any way they were attentive to our needs and I can honestly say after travelling to many places in the world the Taku Sunar hotel takes out first prize
We miss your smiles and we look forward to our next visit.
The room was comfortable and quiet.

Don’t recommend this property , we spent a month travelling all over Indonesia and this was our least favourite property. Room was right beside restaurant with live band , toilet was broken, door lock did not work consistently. We were stuck for 5 nights wish Expedia could have helped us out And moved to different location. Staff was friendly but unable/unwilling to assist with room. Very small dining facility often waits for the lacklustre breakfast, only 16 chairs around the pool so if you don’t camp at 06:30 you are out of luck. Do yourself a favour and stay in Nusa Dua or Kuta.

Included buffet breakfast had lots of options , meats , cheeses, hot sausages and options of made to order eggs. Fruits, pastries and rice, noodle and hot/cold drinks. Great value.

We have stayed at Taksu previously on a fewe occasions. The rooms are lovely except the wardrobe door bangs on the self closer on the main door and there isn't much shelf space, more hanging space but few hangers.
The pool area is lovely but they had less sun lounges as previous but now they have bean bags.
Breakfast was ok, can order eggs cooked anyway. Good selection of fruit, cakes, coffees and hot food. The chicken sausages were a bit cold and had to tell the chef. They have a bbq night on Thursdays for about $25 but found this too expensive for Bali. Great location and friendly staff.

Buffet breakfast was nice, alternating a bit every two days.
Pool area was very lovely. Convenient area with loads of dinner options and 15min walk to the beach.

Some parts of the room were a bit run down. The large windows in the room without balcony didn’t open so it felt it was lacking a bit of fresh air. No activities while I was there except one night local dances (probably slowly getting back in to the pace after Covid).

I would definitely recommend though still, and ideally go for a balcony if you can. Enjoy!

There's no hot water on 1st day, the technician was only able to fix it the next day. The door in the toilet a bit broken, so everytime we open it makes a loud noise as it shreds the floor. The hotel is a bit rundown and not so well maintained. If you can grab it for under $15/night is worth it else better pick other hotels

Stayed for 17 nights and could not be happier with the service provided by all staff from the time of check in at 2am in the morning and check out at 4 am. Totally committed to provide a pleasant and comfortable stay. A special mention to Antari who was in attendance each day for breakfast. My special coffee request was waiting for me each day. Something that i did not expect but was fully appreciated by myself. I was there with my 8 year old daughter and all staff went out of there way to greet her daily and to ensure she had a wonderful holiday. Thank you to all the staff. I will return in the not too distant future.

For our 1st trip to Bali after an upgrade in room we enjoyed our stay. The staff ( Deedee, Antari,Mesya, Sugiantara and especially Mirah at reception) were friendly and helpful. Try Puerta 26 on- site restaurant- high quality food and service. Broke a glass in the room and was made to pay which was disappointing. Be mindful of the wooden bed edges & not to knock shins - left deep bruising. Local faciliteis salon Peni Weni is amazing. There plenty of affordable eating local eateries - you will enjoy!

Overall a great hotel with professional staff. Everything was clean and the pool was so good. Well kept plants everywhere and tasteful decor.

Something unusual was although the glass window was floor to ceiling with a view of the garden, it didn’t actually open. So the aircon had to be on all the time.

Also the shower head was not good and kind of sprayed water in every direction.

The hotel was a great place to stay. The staff remember your name, were friendly and were very accommodating. The internet was ok as well. While it certainly is no NBN or similar speed it was good enough to send emails and chat. Watching netflix was a little hard at times.

The food was nice and there was plenty of options. The location was nice and quiet compared to kuta. The beach and markets are not far away either. You could walk at anytime of day or night around the local area and be safe. Plenty of beautiful places to see and spend time at.

Taxi's were cheap (most trips costing $5-$10..) and I believe most we paid was $30 for a round trip to kuta from Sanur which was 30 minutes away.

If you are staying here on a business trip it is a must stay! it is quiet and secluded enough to be able to focus, make and recieve business calls etc while still being close to what you would need.

Property is small but decent. The room is spacious but dated. There is a broken tiles once you stepped in. The aircon is leaking on my last nite and it continued until i checked out. The street noise can be heard frm my room up till 12am. Breakfast is basic. Almost same menu daily. The breakfast items are only replenished when the trays are empty. So you need to wait. You need to walk abt 10 minutes from hotel to restaurants/bar and another few minutes to beach. Had problem with the hotel credit card machine when paying during checked in. So the staff kept chasing me to settle payment although it was not my fault. The feeling was like you are being monitored. That was not nice. But overall my stay was good

Loved Taksu location as it is just 2minutes from warong jawa moro seneng and Leha-leha which are the 2 most important places (food n spa).

The staff were friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious and clean.

The breakfast however is not Halal so we had to settle with salads, eggs and fruits.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay in Taksu Sanur Hotel.

My stay at Taksu Sanur has been quite amazing.
The staff were incredible. Yoppy, Wahyu and Yuni were consistently friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Their leadership means that their character traits and hospitality skills are being replicated by all staff.
Thank you to Antari, Ray, Mira, the trainees and many others who make this hotel such a tropical haven for lots of satisfied holidaymakers.
My room was very clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast was beautifully laid out and had plenty of delicious choices... including great omelettes. This was certainly a stay I will never forget and highly recommend.

My family had a 9 night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment in this hotel and it was fantastic The cleanliness of the room and amenities was outstanding and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. We were constantly greeted with smiles and nothing was too much trouble.
The apartment was enormous with an open living area with pool views and 2 very large bedrooms both with en-suites. The pool is great and we found the hotel to be just the right size for a relaxing holiday.
The hotel itself was quiet in comparison to most and well situated about a 10 minute walk to the beach and shorter stroll to the great restaurants that the area has to offer. We found the Sanur area to be a great example of enjoying the best of what Bali has to offer without becoming caught in the rat race of Kuta and other similar areas.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing low key family holiday.

Terrific staff, all keen to please and very friendly. Good to see trainees mentored by more senior colleagues. Breakfast certainly adequate for this class of hotel. Dining/room service menu competitively priced and good food. No alcohol sold except Bintang beer, but there are many bars and restaurants within 500 metres. Room spacious and clean, water hot and air conditioning cool. The usual Bali hotel design faults apply: insufficient drawer/cupboard space for a week's clothes; bathroom lighting not very good for shaving or make-up. Good pool area. Airport transfers well-priced. Only hiccup was having to wait for 30 minutes after advertised check-in time before room was ready. Happy to pay the reasonable charge quoted for quite a late checkout on departure date. Have stayed in Sanur hotels many times and would return to this one.

I was coming back from a tour around Bali and Lombok, and I was looking for a place to stay to relax and get ready for my flight out of DPS. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel not too far from the airport. This hotel was beautiful, and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous that I was actually quite sad to leave it! The pool was beautiful and so were the other amenities. The room was spacious and clean, and the WiFi was very good. I would stay there again if I ever travel back to that part of the world:)

Stayed one night so we could get easy access to airport the next day. I booked the room for 2 adults and two kids (1 and 5 years) . There was only one double bed in the room and the wanted to charge me extra for a bed for my oldest son. Other that that the hotel was alright besides the shower head was pretty worn out.

We chose Taksu Sanur for our surf trip and its location, a 5 minute walk from Sanur beach, away from the maddening crowds, the facilities were above expectations for our stay, the hotel & pool is very clean and comfortable, relatively quiet, even though it is nearby a busy road with many restaurants. Bali Bakery on site was awesome, very good selection of foods. Staff are friendly & very helpful, they obviously take great pride in their roles at Taksu Sanur, well done to all the staff.

We had an excellent experience, staff were helpful and went the extra mile. Congratulations to Septi, in this regard she was a star. Also the breakfast team who assisted me with my dietary requirements.Thanks also too Jarpa, for exceptional guest service. I can’t praise housekeeping enough as they kept the room spotless. The hotel was great value for money and the location was near restaurants, and an easy walk to the beach. Taxi/Transport was easily available, on the street at the main entrance. We will stay again as it had everything we wanted. One suggestion would be to ask the Bali Bakery to offer Gluten Free options, such as that of the nearby Bali Buda. GF bread and cakes would be fantastic.

My wife and I chose the Taksu Sanur Hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and we were very satisfied with our decision!
The hotel was extremely clean, with a nice and refreshing swimming pool. It’s a relaxing place to retreat to after a long day of sightseeing.
Our room (2010), a junior suite, was exactly what we had requested. Very large, quiet, lots of storage room, with a nice balcony and pool view. Room had a nice décor, very comfortable bed. Great AC and reliable WIFI. The bathroom was stylish with a great shower.
The hotel is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
We didn’t have breakfast included in our rate since we had a very early departure. However, we did visit the attached bakery that they have and it offers high quality products and meals.
Taksu Team: Thank you very much for everything you did for us.
Overall, an excellent option in Sanur at a very affordable rate!

The greatest assets here are the staff members. Professional, exceptionally helpful, friendly. Could not speak highly enough of the attention received. I have a minor disability, my stay was comfortable and most enjoyable.

Awesome service couldn't fault anything . This is not 5star but the service you receive is . Abit of a walk into the main part but we really enjoyed our evening walks . Would definitely go back to this little gem . Jarpa at breakfast so friendly great smile and full of knowledge. I had a massage it was great would highly recommend the girls there .

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Taksu. The staff were friendly, the room was clean & comfortable, the air conditioner was a perfect temperation. The location of the hotel was walking distance to the beach. I would stay here again.

Quiet nights, nice spa, nice food

overall just ok, because I stayed 2 different rooms in this trip, both water leaks at ceiling!! shower drain are clogged. I hate my feet soak in dirty water!!

My friend had lockup over 20 minutes in their ladies room which next to pool shower. And, they came but didn't know how to get the problem stained lock open. My another friend did that.

And I saw one senior lady fell down caused by the wooden floor NOT FLAT. Lady were nice just stood up and walked away. I think that hurts!! And hotel staff just came have a look shown simpathy, but had done nothing for the problem floor.

Quiet nights, nice spa, nice food and Taksu is very good for scuba diver who need to get on boat at Semawang beach.

Lovely hotel.

Large spacious rooms. Beautiful gardens. Pool area in the sun which is good as lots of hotel pools dont get sun and water is too cold. Convenient location close to shops restaurants beach and laundry. Road side rooms may be noisey take a room at the back.

Convenient , safe location

This was slightly off the main stretch of shops and restaurants but i found it to be very safe and convenient. Near to my diving school.. i had the ground floor room facing the pool. No balcony. No issues with this. My neighbours had balcony. The staff members were friendly and willing to help with enquiries. I was not too sure of the poor reviews mentioned here but i did not experience anything that was bad. The cleaning stafff were also friendly and greeted me each time i passed by. Pool is small for the large crowd but it is alright as most of the time, i am out for other activities. The bakery onsite was a bonus. Popped in for tea or pastries in the day and was open for dinner too. Overall good place to stay in sanur

Excellent hotel

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. We stayed 2 nights- and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean with towels provided. Our room was very large, clean and each child having their own bed. New bottles of water each day provided. The breakfast buffet was ample. The hotel is also in a great location- not far from the beach and also close to many restaurants. We would stay here again.

Great hotel

Originally booked for one night but as we were late there we never got to use all the facilities. Although as we were very impressed with the staff and the room. We went to a different hotel on Nusa Lembongan but the hotel was nowhere near as good as Taksu so we decided to check out early and head back. Again we were not disappointed as this time we got to use the facilities (pool, cafe, bar etc), which were all excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. Again the staff were excellent. It's location is great and I would definately recommend this hotel.

Ok stay nothing special

Nothing special, rooms large and clean ,basic service nothing above and beyond.worst breakfast I have ever had was looking forward to it as it's ran by Bali bakery but so not worth it didn't bother going down the second morning to have it.ouor room was pool view which should of been glimpse of pool view room and we had large plants in front but all in all nothing special bit a nice stay.
