Sorry the Motel was below standard, The family room was like a car garage with three beds no TV , no window , the beds was very ordinary , The price for garage was highly priced , will never stay there or recommend to friends. Only positive comment was that the property was close to the hockey fields. Also property very noisy during the night .

The apartment was clean enough, but it wasn't in a great state of repair. The microwave wasn't working when I arrived, and the towel rail collapsed after a few days. However, the staff were excellent and everything was repaired very quickly.

We booked our room \"on the go\", so someone had to meet us to give us our key, as the motel is remotely managed. This was managed very efficiently. New managers only took over a couple of days before, so hopefully the many small repairs needed will be attended to shortly. Overall, we were happy with the room, and found it good value for money.

Rooms were clean and had new carpet. However, the arrangement of the few bits of furniture(bed, tv standing on 4 door buffet, bar fridge 1 bedside table and 2 chairs) was less than ideal. The picture on the website was different.
A little more thought could come up with a far better arrangement.

Average Motel - large spacious clean rooms. Decor modernised but still slightly dated.

It was fairly clean, it is in a good location - central to Gladstone. It is fairly quiet. Just the occasional truck, Harley or V8 could be heard.

Why did we stay here: We needed two rooms and our preferred option was booked.

Would I stay here again: yes but only if our preferred option was not available.

Okay, firstly the good: the room was nice and parking was plentiful. Comfy bed and good shower/bathroom. But I had a huge problem with arriving at the motel after an 8 hour drive and finding no one there, just a sign telling me to ring a phone number (and having to leave a message because no one answered). I have no issue with contactless check-ins - the stays before and after were both like that, but they also both notified me well in advance and I knew exactly what to expect, unlike this time. It all worked out in the end, but I was quite concerned at the time.

The room is a great size, bed is comfortable, air-con is great. Bathroom is well appointed with great water pressure in the shower. Room is also very quiet, even with the window open, you won't hear much noise from outside. Altogether a pleasant place to stay.

Value stay for an overnight stopover.

Arrived to find front desk unstaffed, in contrast to check in instructions in the booking confirmation. I phoned the number on the confirmation and a lady off-site directed me to collect my keys via a lock box. Simple process, but would have been helpful to know the process beforehand.

Property is basic but clean. No other cars in car park left me somewhat disconcerted however the following morning a few more had arrived.

Toilet had issues with flush not stopping and continual re-pressing of flush required.

Very good value for money however; cheapest motel I've paid for in a decade.

No manager on site, had to call on phone, key under mat. Main light fixture was 1/2 missing. Easy to hear tvs and people smoking on the decks (though all noise stopped after 9). No recycling. Clean unit, well equipped with nice towels, real cutlery, a few dishes and cups and washing liquid. Some folks working and up early. Easy access to a downtown area that closes at 4:30. McDs nearby, easy highway access. Stay in Rockhampton if you are in transit.

We booked this motel for a two night stay and tried to contact the motel at least 6 times to let them know we may be late with no answer. We arrived at the motel within their booking hours and the reception was closed, no keys were left out and they would not answer the phone number they had on display in reception. We had to walk further up the road to find other accommodation and we are STILL!! waiting on a refund one week later!! Not good enough!!

A lovely room that is comfortable and has everything you need. The only down-side we found was that getting our room serviced was fairly haphazard. There was supposed to be daily servicing, which was one of the main reasons we picked this motel. Our room was only done half the days we were there.

Stayed here while travelling the east coast of Queensland. Great price at less than $100 per night. Friendly and helpful staff. The room felt large and the shower was awesome with a rain shower head. Being only a 3 star we were a bit unsure of this motel, but then it had a review of 9.3 so thought we would give it a go. We were pleasantly surprized with the condition of our room, it had been modernised and it was lovely. Had everything we needed. The manager was super friendly and we would definitely stay in this motel again.
