The receptionist who greeted us was absolutely lovely, setting a warm and welcoming tone for our stay. The room itself exceeded expectations, especially for the price. It was surprisingly spacious for a studio apartment, spotlessly clean & tidy, with fantastic views over the harbour and a central location within walking distance of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping.
We were also delighted to find a washing machine and dryer—an unexpected bonus. Being a week into a longer holiday up and down the Queensland Coast, it was great to be able to refresh our luggage.
The only very minor downside was the lack of glassware, with just one wine glass and no champagne glasses. As our stopover happened to be on New Year’s Eve, my partner ended up drinking our lovely bottle of champagne out of a cup. But hey, it still tasted great, and it made for a funny memory—especially since the rest of the kitchenette was so well-stocked with cookware that you could practically host a dinner party… if only there had been a stovetop or oven!
All in all, we found the whole experience amusing and had a fantastic stay. This will definitely be our new go-to road trip stopover!

Stayed one night pre and one night post a Heron Island holiday, which is forced due to flight and ferry times. The staff are lovely, but the hotel is very dated. They’ve tried to update the bathrooms with a refresh, but the rooms are very dated. Carpets are worn and stained. Window locks are broken. Our first room had 6 broken/not working issues, which I advised on a note on departure and requested a different room for our return in 5 days. To their credit, they upgraded us to a suite for the second stay, but it was only marginally better.
I think it’s an appropriate FIFO apartment hotel, but not a tourist or business hotel.

The first room I was put in had a very dirty balcony, I requested it be cleaned so as not to walk dirt inside as they charge a carpet cleaning fee, the room smelt of something like kerosine, very unpleasant, asked about the guest laundry, no such service is offered, I was however moved to another room with a laundry, this room was no cleaner. This property boasts professional cleaning, what a joke. Absolutly disgusting. Extremely dirty balcony floor, windows and sill. Internal skirting boards thick with dust, top of kitchen cupboards greasy, internal kitchen cupboards dirt, filthy washing machine and laundry tub. Mould on the ceiling of laundry cupboard. Tile edges of kitchen were thick with dust. Spots and filth on nearly every wall. Dirty stained carpet, lounge had a vile brown skid mark like stain on it. Long black hair in the bathroom vanity sink. No hand and body lotion in the supplied dispenser. They claim premium foxtel channels, why bother when you cant even see the picture as it was all snowy and unwatchable. The table lampshades were all spotty and dirty, curtains need a wash.

Booked room for 2 adults and 3 children. Got there only 2 single.beds had to pay extra for a trundle bedwhich made the room much more expensive then other places in the region. Hallways smelt musty and damp. Advertised free foxtel however TV didnt accommodate the connection for the foxtel was told oh well only digital tv available. Wouldnt stay there again.

The apartment we were given had only one bathroom and one very small mirror- with 4 adults getting dressed for a wedding it was not adequate. Other apartments with only two adults staying in it, had two bathrooms so I don't know why we were allocated a one bathroom unit.

Don't believe everything you read
When I booked this hotel I was under the impression there was a rooftop spa deck, when we arrive my welcome letter included pool hours, when we went looking for the spa we couldn't work out where it was, so the kids went to reception to be told there was no spa so they asked about the pool and again no pool. I went on line and checked several sites and all mentioned these apartments having a rooftop spa deck, very disappointing. Further, we had paid for our booking through the booking site and our credit card was charged again for the room when we arrived which I picked up from my C/Cd statement and I then had to chase up a refund.

Apartments are spacious and well set-up with kitchenette, tea/biscuits, bathroom accessories etc. Probably not as flash as some alternatives, but clean and comfortable. A special bonus is the \"self-serve/cook\" breakfast which included everything from yoghurt and cereals, to full hot food choices. Centrally situated for dining out options.
