Stayed for three nights with no WiFi, and the issue wasn’t fixed even after speaking to the front desk. On the last night at 1:30 am, there was an emergency evacuation announcement — it was quite scary.

1. The toilet does not flush unless you place your hand inside the cistern and activate the mechanism manually. Unbelievable, we are not in a third world country.
2. The airconditioning in the main living area must have a blocked condensation pipe, as it poured water out all over the floor. We used the inner of the rubbish bin was used as a bucket to collect the water and unit was turned off. Bucket filled twice (which was handy to flush the toilet with).
3: I am sure the couch use to be made of leather. It has perished baldy and has been acknowledged by placing a grandma crocheted throw over the top.
This is extremely disappointing.
And... There wasn't even an apology. It was just an \"ok, thanks for that, I'll get a handyman on to it\" as we departed.

TV was also the size of a computer monitor, if you have bad eyesight forget it.
The couch had a loose cover on it that kept falling down and the couch underneath was cheap worn vinyl.

No air conditioning in any room worked property, very uncomfortable sleep cause couldn’t get room cooled down. No txt sent for checkin, had to call multiple times, and the smell of garbage throughout building was to the point of being unbearable. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Quick, friendly check-in. Our three-bedroom apartment had plenty of space for the family, and the in-room amenities were perfectly adequate. The room itself is a little tired stained carpets, marked furniture and walls in need of a repaint but it still suited our needs comfortably. The location is excellent, close to dining and shops, and the pool is a good size and very clean. Overall, a good stay and we’d happily return.

Everything was perfect, especially Jamie on Reception. After a long day behind the wheel she was super courteous, clear with instructions and made me feel relaxed.
Nothing was problem for her and even gave me some local advice on where to get food/drinks etc.

The staff prior to and on check in were good and easy to deal with.

The room was a disgrace. The carpets look filthy & are stained. The leather (gross) couch is extremely worn and the surface flaking off. This room is for 4 people but there are only 3 seats in front of the tv.

There is limited kitchenware for food preparation.

I am unsure if the apartment was actually cleaned as there was hair all over the balcony, there were used dirty tissues between the bedside table and the bed in the smaller bedroom.

We were not provided the correct amount of towels in the room. When one of our party when down to ask they were accused of not looking and had the customer service person talking to them while eating their breakfast and with a mouthful of food and blaming the house keeping staff. We also didn't hear from the house keeping staff our entire stay nor did they ever provide housekeeping while we were out, even after reporting the filth found in the room. There was also no apology for this or attempt to fix/clean it. They advertise that there is daily housekeeping.

There was a concern with payment at checkin. We were told the best way is to just book direct & also it's the cheapest. We booked WOTIF because it stated QB. Their website & other booking sites state DB beds We actually had more like 1 DB which was comfy and one KG which was hard as a rock. It was also cheaper through WOTIF. We would not stay here again. Poor impression of G/stone for our out of town guests.

The property was not well stocked. We had no dish cloth or any way to wash dishes or clean kitchen. No oven mitts, had to use a bathroom towel. The desk lamp was broken and sagging down. The patio had obviously not been cleaned and had a thick layer of soot on all the patio furniture. Hot tub was cold. Not great value for price unfortunately.

An email was sent to us but as we had already left home we did not receive it and consequently did not know where to get the keys from. Luckily there was someone else getting their keys and I asked if there was one for Gowman and they said yes. The bottom of the shower curtains were dirty and there were dirt spots on the carpet. The room was spacious and so we had plenty of room to move around. The bed was comfortable.

So disappointed with our stay here. We arrived on a Sunday and the front desk was closed. We called to get access to the lock box to get our cards. The unit was large which was the only good thing about it.

First of all, it smelled horribly. It was SO bad we had to open all window. Secondly, the place was not clean. There was gunk on the kitchen appliances, the bin in the toilet was rusted and mouldy, carpets were soiled in some areas and the window coverings had splashes of something (god knows what) all over them.

We immediately called down to the office and was left on hold for almost 10 minutes (even though they answered right away when we first arrived). We tried again with no luck. I sent them an email letting them know we were not happy with our room and we’re hoping to get a different suit, but received no reply.

Because we were just passing through and just needed a place to sleep for the night we toughed it out.

I would definitely NOT recommend this place. The smell lingered in our luggage for days. Quite disgusting. For the price we paid, we definitely felt ripped off. Honestly, the worst accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. No exaggeration. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The layout of the apartment was spacious and the location was central to the main Street.
The apartment was dirty and covered in dust on every surface. It was in need of a proper clean. The skirting boards were covered in dust, the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all had ingrained dirt.The carpets were very old and stained. We had to ask for someone to come and vacuum the carpet and floors as it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. The light in the kitchen didn’t work but was fixed promptly once we let reception know. The walls were all marked and in need of a paint job. The fans were covered in dust. The bathrooms both had dust stains on the floor. The furniture had seen better days. All in all the apartment definitely needs some TLC.
The pool was green and unusable. The carpets in the hallways were stained and dirty.
When we arrived we were given a room and when we opened the door we were both shocked as it had not been cleaned and there was dirty linen on the floor and the apartment had not been cleaned. We went back to reception and were offered another room. I will say the man at the front desk was very accomodating and helpful. The motel is let down in its current state by bad house cleaning and is in desperate need of a revamp.

Very disappointing!!! Compared to the photos on Lastminute.com the place is so old the carpet had stains everywhere there was peanut shells on the floor and under the lounge. Going off the photos when we booked we there was a nice view off the balcony, our view was of the driveway and we looked directly into the house next door so we had to keep the curtains closed so they couldn’t just sit there and watch what we were doing.we actually decided after being there for about 30minutes that we would just stay one night and keep driving. We asked the lady on the counter if there was any chance of a refund but she said it’s out of her hands as it’s through Expedia which I guess is fine we should have just booked one night. Over all very disappointing would never stay again or tell anyone to stay there.

When we arrived in our room, it felt like I was getting bitten, I then at times could see little bugs flying around.
That night we could feel bites and the next morning we were covered in bites.
The other issue that we had was that our bed sheets smelled like deep heat, I am hoping that there were clean sheets on our bed.

Unpleasant Experience Again

We traveled far and arrived at the hotel tired. Check in were the worst I ever experienced in 30 years. I had to provide credit card details AGAIN and my drivers license, I was expected to download the new government COVID app without glasses or my apple password handy, and fill out the 'new' government COVID forms online - which are pages and pages of nonsense to read through. I expect a way better check in for the price we paid! At least prepare the guests on what will await them at check in.
Entering the room was another disappointment since the carpet throughout the room is stained and unsightly. Wednesday morning our bed sheets were just loosely thrown over the bed, not tucked in nor were our towels changed, and the Thursday morning the bed sheets were again just thrown over the bed loosely and not tucked in, and towels weren't replaced. During our stay we pulled the armchair away from the sofa and discovered an empty Corona bottle and a blue M&M (photo attached).
On our exit we left the room tidy, thrown out our bin and washed all the dishes - more than what the hotel staff did during our stay.
During the following year we expect to be traveling to Gladstone twice a month and expect to stay over on average 96 nights a year but unfortunately we stayed at this hotel before in 2017 and had a similar experience, therefore won't make a similar mistake again nor will our company and the company my husband work for book anyone in at the Gladstone Central Plaza.

GCP contacted us the day before our stay asking for a rough checkin time. When we told them we would be there way before the normal 2pm they advised us to call in when we got there and if our room was available we could checkin early. This was great as we didn't have to spend time waiting around. The apartment was clean, milk and cold water were in the fridge ready for us and reception were very helpful.

1 night in the 2 bed and 2 bath. Hotel details say the reception operated until 7pm but when we arrived shortly after 6pm the front door was locked and receiption closed. However, when I called the number as directed for after-hours check-in the process was fairly simple and staff very helpful. Once we got to our room the door to the second bed and bath was locked and so on the phone to after-hours reception again. He was back on site in no time and sorted that out for us. Nothing special about the rooms, it was a place to sleep for the night. The carpets are badly stained and in a bad way, the room also had a really strong bleach smell that lingered for most the time we were there. We bought take-out (close to restaurants) to eat and found the cutlery and plates weren't cleaned well from the previous tennats. The card reader on the door was quite temperamental, had to tap the card in the sweet spot before it let you in - just had to keep trying.

But I would poss not book again as this property only had one bedroom units and there was no tv in the bedroom.
Maybe I am a little different but I suspect not in saying after a full day of sales calls I li,e nothing better at nite than to;relax on my bed and watch tv.
