Room very average, all cutlery dirty, many ants in the tea/coffee given and room had a musty smell. Bed was just two singles pushed together with a very hard centre, not a king bed, only one small pillow given and was loud outside all night.

No one was at reception during supposed working hours!!! No way to gain entry into room, without the kindness of a resident we would’ve been out of luck. We never received an email or text telling us what to do with our American cell phones we couldn’t make a call!

Very disappointed with my stay. Bathroom floor was dirty the bath mat was black after the shower. . I could not shower alone as I could not open the shower door. Very dangerous. The bed was soft and uncomfortable. The lady at the front desk berated my partner on the 3rd day when he helped himself to the complimentary sweets saying 'they cost me money you know'. This was despite her insisting on the 1st day to help ourselves. Will not be staying here again. Very different to the Centro Apartments in Oaka Lane we previously stayed at

I would absolutely recommend this apartment and would happily stay again. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment at the end of a hectic few nights of motel hopping, and it was exactly what I needed—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, including a comfy spot to sit and read, plenty of parking, and a quiet, calm atmosphere. The friendliness of the reception staff and the overall quality were reflected in the price. A great option if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-appointed stay in Gladstone.

The rooms were dirty with mold in one of the showers, the stove top had melted plastic on it, the oven was dirty and the range hood. The lounge and the carpet were dirty and the blanket on the bed had white dirty marks on it, overall the place felt grotty. There were broken chairs in the apartment and the globs were blown in the bedrooms. When they came to service the room they only emptied the bin and stamped and folded one toilets rolls. They did not replace toilet paper in the other room or replaced the dishwashing liquid or rubbish bags. However the office stave where really nice and welcoming when checking in and the gave us 2 breakfast bags with bread butter jams little juice box’s little milks tea and coffees.

Overall I do not think it warranted the 4 starts it claims to have.

Mixed Bag Stay: Ideal for Workers, Not Kid-Friend

Stayed at the hotel for a night. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the ripped curtains were a downside. The overall building could use a facelift, but the pool was a highlight. The kitchenette, particularly the stove, needs an upgrade. Ideal for a quick stay for workers but might not be the best choice for families with kids.
Note: No reception; key cards are securely stored in a locked safe.

It was only an ok stay, I booked my room with a King Bed only to find I was given a room with two single beds, that's ok but the beds were rather small and uncomfortable. On one of the nights, I went to turn on the TV to watch the cricket only to find for some reason there was no TV aerial. I called reception only to be told they had no spare aerials and nothing they could do. My question is why was there no aerial in the first place? I had to sleep with the windows open as the room had a smell to it that wasn't overpowering but a little unpleasant. Shame it was disappointing.

We found this property to be one of the worst we have stayed in. The lounge was falling apart and very uncomfortable and the cushions were also frayed. We chose not to use the stove as the dials had no markings as to which one we were using. The bed was most uncomfortable, not the plush bedding advertised on the website.
When we asked for the fly screen to be put back on the balcony window the day manager appeared unwilling to arrange for it to be done. The handyman did do it for us.
One night during our stay a person in the adjoining room tried to enter our room uninvited. My husband had to secure the door. Next morning he went to the office to raise our concerns and request the door to be locked. The same day manager trivialised his concern about our safety and was unwilling to address the issue. Two of the cleaning staff came to our room later in the day and secured the door. They were most apologetic.
Overall we were unhappy with our stay and would not recommend it.

Having a kitchenette and full-size fridge for a family of 4 is great.

Management was helpful.

Good location, short walk to Gladstone Valley Shopping Centre and the main street.

Be wary of \"location\" before finalising a booking!

We had a Studio Apartment for 2 x nights at Quest Gladstone. Everything was satisfactory however, in future, we'll be more wary about \"location\" of accommodation before finalising a a booking as the Quest was located on the corner of a very busy intersection, and we were unable to open our windows (for fresh air) without being \"drowned out\" by noisy traffic!! Other than that, we were satisfied with our room comfort and, the staff, were particularly helpful.

Way better than expected!

I thought Gladstone would be a hole, but I loved the hotel, the staff was really nice and the location was great for driving to the local shops just over the hill, to the beach and to the Auckland Hill Lookout. I wish I had time to see the botanic gardens. The room was very nice, had a really great kitchenette, and I loved the SmartTV, but I couldn't find any pay TV channels. I definitely want to come back here!

The apartment was spotless and quite comfortable,in a central position to restaurents,supermarkets etc. The only downside, which I new of in advance was the lack of a lift. I found it difficult to carry a 20kg suitcase up two flights of stairs
