I really enjoyed my stay at the Parrot Resort. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The resort is literally right off the main drag in town, yet tucked away so that the loud sounds of nightlife and traffic could not be heard. The grounds were peaceful and the food was excellent at a very good price. I highly recommend the Parrot!

I stayed here for 5 days. Parrot has been an excellent choice. The deluxe rooms are nice, and I like the layout of the room. The staff have all been very accomodating and polite. They were also able to arrange a snorkel boat tour on short notice. The staff are respectful and courteous. I have really appreciated their attitudes of friendliness, helpfulness, and service oriented actions, which has greatly enhanced my stay here.

The table soccer and pool table are in good condition, and the birds are cool! We couldn't play table tennis due to rain and wind.

Breakfast is great compared with hotels in the area, and is fairly basic with limited options. Eggs, bacon, and pancakes cooked on demand, fruit juices, dry cereal, fresh cooked bread with choice of jam, homemade yogurt, coffee, and has fresh fruit! Good stuff!

The rooms are clean. The property is clean and well cared for. It is surprisingly quiet for the area, and seemed to have decent security. I really appreciate that after having poor experiences at other hotels around the coastline cities of Cebu.

The gym is clean with all the basics for a solid work out. I didn't try the pool because it rained nearly the entire time.

I enjoyed the nighttime environment with cool and pretty lighting, and the open air restaurant/bar area. Overall it is very aesthetically pleasing. I like that it doesn't have a ton of rooms, which makes it feel like more of a personalized experience.

Really enjoyed the stay at the Parrot Resort. It was close to town but quiet at night. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed interacting with the Parrots. The staff was very nice and helpful. The resort was very clean and well taken care of by the owner. Would recommend to all. My wife and I had a great time.

Hotel was a walkable distance to where all the action is but far enough from the noises at night or early morning. They do have parrots who make noise in the morning so if you’re easily bothered by the noise, choose a room away from the pool. Room was clean and AC was very strong once you start it (it was stuffy when we first arrived but after a little bit, it cooled). There was a gym that we did not get to enjoy but it had basic lifting equipment. We highly recommend this place in Moalboal!

Enclosed, and good for kids. An easy 8 minute walk to the sardine run. The kids loved the ping pong table, fuss ball table. There is a pool table, but kids are not allowed to play with that. Just so you know the green parrot wally can talk- he can say “Hello!” The kids loved Wally!

Parrot Resort is excellent. It is right in the middle of the main strip in Moalboal, but is tucked away as to feel private and secluded. The staff always welcome you with a smile. They took care of all our needs from breakfast, to booking excursions and booking us a car to our next destination. We will certainly be staying there again.

The breakfast every morning was awesome, super happy with it as well as an in wall safe and and a water cooler in each room was amazing! Snorkel gear available at front desk at 150 for mask and snorkel, though not great quality. Nice pool and so many nice little touches for guests, down a sketchy alley which was not great at night but overall a lovely property.

we were soooo pleasantly surprised by parrot resort. didnt know what to expect since the area seems to be mostly hostels. the room was spacious and clean, the shower was hot with good pressure, the restaurant served delicious food, the staff were incredible and set up our tours and transfers, and the location is walking distance from the beach/sardine run/tons of restaurants. this was our favorite hotel of the trip!!!

I only gave a 3 stars due to the hotels strict rules and regulations. This property is immaculate , the owner takes a lot of pride in keeping his property clean but on the downside I had an unfortunate reaction to the products they use to clean the linens, maybe they use starch , bleach or soap that was too strong and I stained the sheets . I did not purposely or carelessness stain the linen as I had read the rules about being charged for any strains like blood etc that couldn’t be bleached out . I was nervous for the next 2 days and slept with my clothes on !!! I was charged 1000$ pesos although i was told the real charge was 8000$ pesos . The staff apologized and I told them I understood as it’s the hotel’s policy and not their fault . The owner was not around so I didn’t challenge them . I don’t feel it was fair to be held responsible for the reaction to the products but nonetheless I paid the extra cost I was charged. I completely understand the bedding has to be replaced but it’s an expense. as a hotel owner, you should absorb when it’s not the client’s fault . I’ve been travelling for 2 months and I have never been charged for linen .
On the plus side : I still recommend the hotel as it’s probably one of the nicest in town . Keep in mind , there are loud parrots on site but at night it’s pretty quiet . Breakfast was very good . They have a Tuk Tuk for free to take you to town or the beaches which is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful .

Nice bar and a little restaurant at the resort for dinner. The location was very convenient to many local bar and restaurant.

Resort arranged an island hopping tour that was good.

There was a small gym. We did not use it as seemed to have very light weights only.

Overall pleased with the resort and our stay in moalboal.

The location is perfect for couple. Quiet and very relaxing ambience. Complete amenities. Clean and spacious room. My husband ans I are both coffee lovers. We enjoyed the espresso machine on our room. The location is very near restaurants, bar and coffee shop. About 3 minutes walk and your already in the street full of must try restaurants. All staff are very courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this place to stay. Moreover, it is just 10minute ride going to Panagsama beach.

Great little hotel, small but perfectly formed! Rooms have everything you would need - toiletries, pool towels (you can also get beach towels for free), mini bar & snacks with reasonable prices tea and coffee and your own water dispenser!
Breakfast was good with lots of choice.
Staff are really helpful and accommodating.
Location is good - just down the street from the bars and restaurants and a little further on to the beach.

The Parrot Resort Moalboal is a wonderful little gem of a place. I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the place, broken only by the occasion squawks of their namesake resident parrots (largely only in the day) which makes the place feel more like a home rather than conventional tourist accommodation. I am also thoroughly appreciative of the genuine hospitality accorded by the front desk staff, led by Gwen, who impressed me with their constant attentiveness and responsiveness, and dealt with my various itinerary changes ever so promptly and always with genuine warmness. A top notch place I would recommend to anyone, be it solo travellers or families, looking to settle into Moalboal quickly, and focus their time on enjoying its splendid eco and diving attractions.

I absolutely loved this small boutique hotel. Owned and managed by a Swiss guy so everything works the Parrot Resort provides everything you need for a great stay in Moalboal. The rooms are large and bathrooms as well. You get a deck area in front of your room if you wish to sit outside. There is a small mini-fridge in the room so you can keep you own drinks chilled and the air conditioner can get the room as cold as you want.

The pool is large and cold and really clean. There is a bar with music by the pool and plenty of chairs and table for relaxing. If you want to have dinner there is a large menu of Philippine and western dishes to chose from and everyone I had was excellent. Breakfast is served by the kitchen and they will make essentially what ever you want and as much as you want including omelets, bacon, eggs etc. A refrigerator is filled with may different drinks to select from.

The small staff was outstanding, friendly and will help you out with whatever you need including arrangements and tours for you. DO NOT MISS snorkeling with the Whale Sharks which you leave at 5 and and return at 10 am. The hotel will also clean your laundry for a small fee.

Another great thing about the Parrot is that they have scooters for rental right on site. Great pricing from 400-500 pesos a day depending on length of rental. A scooter will give you all the transportation you need to get to the beaches, stores, bars etc. just a few minutes away. You will love it here!

If the staff of this resort is absolutely amazing they pretty much make the place.
If the rooms are large secure and the A/C works well.
The pool was clean and warm and the restaurant is right next to it.
Though the parrots can be a little loud at times they're actually fun to look at and great photo Ops.

this place was close enough to walk to the dive shops and beach. It was far enough from the party places that it was quiet at night. The staff act as if your a friend staying with them. they are very friendly and accommodating. They cut some aloe plants for me when I got sunburned. The room is very clean and comfortable. the AirCon worked great. The Parrots are a bit noisy in the morning, but you only hear them from the pool area, not in the room. i highly recommend this place. I would return here.

Best hotel in Moalboal

Ive tried about 10 different hotels in Moalboal, but this one is definatly the best one. The swimmingpool is clean and nice, the hole place are clean and nice.

The rooms are very clean, and very comfy, they have alot of space to put cloths, luggage and it is the biggest double bed i experience in all of Philippines.
The water pressure is very good, every 7 days of my stay! Happy about it.

They have generator if loose of power, it makes it 24/7 comfy with always electricity. Also a +

They have some very entertaining Parrots, they are very talkative, fun and also gives a nice experience.

The food in the restaurant is top class food, i really enjoy the Thai Red Curry Chicken, and Yellow Curry Chicken. The Chicken Adobo is also very good. Im sure everything on the menu is, but this is the ones from my own experience.

The room have big TV.
In my stay i had ok wifi connection, the mobile/Globe connection was also ok.

This review is from a stay from 26. January to 02. February after Odette, still this hotel manage to make the stay perfect.

A hidden gem. Everything you need for a good stay. Hot water, clean sheets, comfortable bed, cable tv, internet. Interesting site with parrots, pool table, ping pong, swimming pool, fitness room with great equipment. We used the pool, ping pong, and pool table. (Fitness equipment is too much like work for me) We ate the included breakfast with a great variety of food to choose from and plenty of coffee. We had two short order meals from the kitchen all satisfying. The staff was very attentive, and helped arrange a snorkeling trip for us, my wife’s first time. She had a blast. We walked to the beach one morning quite a view looking at neighboring island across the water. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

Really nice hotel service! Gwen helped us reserve car from Mealboal to Cebu at reasonable rate (and super comfy car). She also called our driver when she found out that we left our glasses at the hotel, and she managed to ask the driver to drop it off for us the next day!! Very considerate.
The location is great - 5 min walk to the beach. Breakfast was freshly made - eggs and bacon. Room is very clean.

Staff her extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is 10 mons from the sea front which is ideal as it is quieter. The pool is cleaned daily and breakfast is help yourself and they cook fantastic eggs and bacon. The water is free from coolers and the parrots are amazing and kept us entertained for hours. They are well looked after and the grounds are kept lovely. The 3 Bears restaurant next door is an added bonus as the good and the service there is excellent.
