I really wanted to love my stay here but I was disappointed. First I arrived from a long drive to the computer system being down. So the line was backed up to check in. They did give me a $50 voucher so that was nice. I paid for a king room at the Reserve which ended up being in the building across the street from the main entrance. Check-in gave me a map telling me the specific numbered points to go to get to my room. But when I drove back there to park and walked to that specific location, the numbered points on the site map were different than the ones on the paper map she gave me. So it was very confusing. I had to get help from an elevator service guy. The rooms are in a U-Shape and mine was on the polar opposite end of the building that happened to be right next to an outdoor speaker to the rooftop terrace that I had the pleasure of hearing all night until it turned off at 11 PM. Fun for entertaining guests outside, but not for those trying to sleep. I tried making reservations to the spa and Ember steakhouse. Entirely booked. So make sure to reserve in advance. I was forced to order room service which cost me $150 for steak, potatoes and water. And to top it off, the bathroom sink was fully clogged. For $500 a night, do better Meritage.

The hotel double charged for one of the rooms for a total of $382.49. There was confusion upon check in and they did not see the expedia confirmation number nor did they honor it. Now we have to dispute with the bank to resolve. Very unhappy!

Room was amazing! We loved the terrace and water feature outside our room. Staff were courteous and really made you feel special. The spa was luxurious. We also enjoyed the Ember steak house! The filet mignon was delicious. Plenty of things to do at the Meritage! Definitely need to nights to explore everything. We will be back!

My husband I stayed Feb6th thru 8th. The room we stayed in. 4126. The front door was extremely loud. It probably woke up are neighbors. The mattress and pillows were to soft. No good sleep at all. The room was very hot. The heater was not on. We wanted to open are door but are screen was broken. The lock was broken. No complimentary breakfast. We awoke on Saturday to go to breakfast in the hotel. I didn't see pancakes on the menue. So i asked the gentlemen. Did they have them. He proceeds to give me the price of the pancakes. I politely told him. I didnt ask for the price. He immediately knew he f up. Tis should have been a training in Customer Service or in life. Never ever assume. This is what topped it off and made our stay poor. He made my husband and I feel like if we were a certain color. This would have never came out of his mouth. So we spent are money elsewhere. Very disappointing birthday surprise weeked for my husband and I. Housekeeping was awesome. The younglady who cleaned are room was very nice and the Manager.

The property and room were clean. The only issue I had was that our room was far away from the kids pool and that there was an adult event going on that we had to walk through to get to our room. I just wish when we were checking in the staff checking us in would have said, oh you have kids would you like a room by the kid pool or let me put you in the other buildings on the property. I could have moved rooms after night one but felt like that would have been a hassle.

We had a great time during Merry Meritage. The kids enjoyed I’ve skating right outside and the fire pit with snores. Service was great, but Olive and Hay seemed short staffed during breakfast. Food and service there was very good once we were seated and served. Would stay again.

am 54 years old and stayed here over New Year’s weekend to visit a friend in Napa. I booked a suite so we would have a place to gather, but it was a waste of money. At 10:00 PM on Friday, six of us were sitting at the conference table just talking—no music, no partying.

Management sent security to our room three times. Each time, security saw us just sitting there and had nothing to say, yet they kept coming back. We eventually resorted to whispering in our own suite and still felt harassed.

The walls are paper-thin. The next morning, I could hear every word the housekeepers said in the next room. I realized the bed in the adjoining room is placed directly against the wall where the conference table is located. If you plan on having a conversation past 9:00 PM, do not stay here. The layout is a massive design flaw, and the \"security\" response was overbearing and unnecessary for a group of adults simply talking. Total disappointment.

I stay at Meritage at least four times a year. I bring several families and we’ve always enjoyed our stay. However our last trip was a nightmare, the check in was over an hour and several persons in our party had issues with reservations and the system not matching the confirmations. Needless to say, most of our guests were frustrated and we missed our ice skating reservations, but were able to be accommodated at a later time. I didn’t even bother with the spa, I will likely look for another hotel for our annual family getaway. Too bad, we’ve been coming since 2020!

There were several situations that made me never want to stay here again:

- Ice rink (main winter attraction) closed for 2 days and no notification until we go there or other accommodations

- every bill at the hotel has 20% gratuity automatically added, leading to several people adding 20% additional after it was already included (we weren’t the only one). Really feels like a cheap trick

- staff at the OH restaurant were not friendly at all, makes sense because they already get their 20% tip regardless

- who is out of CO2 for the draft beers at the main lobby bar?

- no one was helpful when trying to find out if something was returned to lost and found or would even look

The rooms are above average, nothing special, they way we were treated wasn’t worth giving this place another go

Meritage now charges to park on top of a $50 a night resort fee. The Blend coffee shop is closed so you have to walk across to the other propane wait in a huge line to find out the cappuccino machine is broken. Then we ordered some food from Crush and half our order was missing after a 45 min wait. When we did get the food there was hair in it.
The common bathrooms were filthy and our room had areas with water damage. This used to be a lovely resort. I spent many nights here and organized company events. I'm disappointed at the decline in service and overall condition of the property.

This was our first time staying here. The staff was great but when we checked in and walked Into our room, the room was under construction. They had laters, garbage, tools, buckets everywhere. We were shocked. Not what we expected at 11:30 at night when checking into our room. We went back down to check in with all of our luggage. The lady at the front just apologized and gave us a different room. For a hotel that is so expensive i expected more. You would this the staff knows what rooms are either dirty or under construction. They should have also compensated us with something. Maybe not charg us for one or two nights for the resort fee. We will not stay here again and will try a different hotel

We were overcharged $485 and have not been able to get in touch with the hotel for three days. They have yet to send the folio as well detailing the charges of our stay. They don’t answer their phone so I’ve had to place a help ticket through their reservation line.

The front desk was not able to answer our call from the room the night we were staying there either after four attempts! They never called back to see what we needed or check on us.

Nice hotel but difficult to get any help if there’s an issue! One star service at best!

My first experience at this hotel was not good, but I had a broken ankle, so we decided to stay for a second opinion. It was just as bad.

Most people on the staff act like they are “over it” and don’t want to be bothered. Yes, this hotel is in Napa, but not what you think of when you think “Napa.” It is located between the intersection of 2 different freeways in a corporate park. They hide it well with a fake vineyard, but it’s just not as nice as others in downtown. It’s not as nice as anywhere in Vegas, but that’s what it wants to feel like.

Both pools were completely filled and loud and busy. We asked to use the lounge chairs that are just outside of the FIVE EMPTY cabanas, and we were told we could rent them for more than it cost for a night at the hotel. And it was 3pm, so we would have gotten to use the chairs for 2 hours.

The bathrooms in the rooms are nice, but this place is just an average hotel that happens to be in Napa. The price is not worth the experience.

I don’t think I will ever stay here again, concert or not.

Bought tickets to Jason Bonham concert for a gift and booked the Meritage to make it a full experience.

Arrived at 2 (check-in is 4) & totally understood our room wasn’t ready. Staff said they’d text me soon when we could move our bags in. We ate lunch at the bar adjacent to the lobby but didn’t receive a text. Stood in line again for 15+ min and heard our room was almost ready. Staff talked quickly about reimbursing $100 fee (??) and that they’d send a text soon. Meanwhile, the lobby was filled with guests and their luggage waiting for rooms, including kids blatantly throwing paper airplanes at people.

Never received a text. Concert area opened soon (5), so we approached the desk a third time. Employee was extremely rude & dismissive. He said he wasn’t in charge of texting me. We said we’d been waiting for our room for 2.5 hours and he said, ‘Again…I just work at this desk and I don’t let you know when your room is ready. Sorry.’ His tone was mocking, not apologetic. We hurried to our room without time to relax or appreciate it.

Concert was outstanding, venue felt intimate, sound was great! We enjoyed the show and the short walk back to our comfortable, clean room was convenient. However, in all of our many travels we’ve never received our room past check-in time or waited in a lobby for hours. We didn’t receive an apology, weren’t given any explanation and missed out on relaxing poolside. We’re local, but don’t plan to return.

There was no way to place an order for room service - no phone in the room and the scan did not work. Not even a menu. If you didn't have cell phone you had to walk all the way to reception - I needed creamer (besides room service) and thankfully I had a cell phone so I could call the main number but pay over $700.00 a night and you don't provide an easy way for your guests to get ahold of you is unprofessional in a 5 star resort!

This was a beautiful resort with some great amenities. Olive & Hay and Ember Steak House were both great places to eat. The room was very comfortable. We had a view of the pool and fortunately enough it wasn’t too noisy. The only problem we had was the A/C unit was loud so we opened to window at night and we had beautiful cool evenings. We will definitely return. Loved seeing a concert venue!

It was too crowded!! We stayed in the St. Elena Jr. Suite and the cleaning staff never came to clean, nor did anyone pick up the dirty dishes we left outside our room. The hotel had a wedding, so the adults’ pool was impossible to use (it was basically a people soup), and the spa was completely full. The steakhouse is in another building, so you need to walk there, about 3 blocks away. Maybe it was just not a good weekend to stay (because of the wedding), but right now I’m not interested in returning.

Always a great stay; love the pools, restaurants, and other amenities on site. We were there for the Blue Note concert series and it’s great having dining options and even room service if you don’t want or don’t make any reservations to formal sit down dining. The crush lounge has pool table and bowling along with greet drinks and food after the concerts if you’re not ready to turn in yet. Great tasting rooms, complimentary wine in room, and such an amazing view. Brunch at Olive & Hay is amazing. Love walking the grounds and the staff are always wonderful.

We arrived early and they charged $90 for early checkin. We were fine with that; however, they put ius in a room with a balcony overlooking the catering storage area. We also checked in early to use the ppool. There were no towels for any of the guests until 3pm! Even those who paid for the privage lounges had no towells. Food was mediocre. We won't be back.

Don't expect a phone call back from this hotel. I called 7 times and left 3 messages in regard to a room block for a conference I was going to and no one ever called me back.

Booked Meritage on Expedia. I asked for a special request in regarding my fiancé & I, 1 year engagement to decorate the room in some way. When we got to the room they didn’t do nothing. Not sure if they saw the request or was just lazy (-1 point)

There was a restaurant on site we wanted to go for breakfast which was called Olive & Hay. They were closed everyday for our 3 night stay. Really disappointed (-1 point)

Room service was really slow. I requested ice be delivered to our room because front desk said there was no machine for guest to have access. We waited nearly 2 hours just to get a bucket of ice (-1 point)

Overall: Property is nice, ember steak house was good, grocery store on site (over priced) & spa (overpriced — couples treatment for $500 for an hour?? Whaat?)

Would not come here again but my fiancé & I made the most out of it. Also watch out for the $300 charge when you get to registration/check in. It’s mandatory they charge your card.

The check in line was long, apparently because the Meritage front desk staff check in guests from the hotel next door causing an influx of guests waiting to be checked in. Regardless , I definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
