The rooms are outdated and in need of renovation — definitely not what you’d expect from a 5-star property. While the private beach is a nice touch, the double sunbed mattresses were disappointing: they looked very dirty and were just covered with bedsheets, which felt unhygienic and off-putting. Overall, not worth the rating.

Grand stay at the Grand Hotel Primoretz!

Any time we are in Burgas, this is our go-to Hotel. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable, the food in the restaurant is excellent and the spa amenities are all worth visiting for! Also the Hotel is beautifully located with spectacular views of the sea and the sound of waves as you go to sleep!

Classic and comfortable in the heart of Burgas!

Fourth time staying at this Hotel and as always it was fantastic! The room is incredibly spacious and the bed and pillows are so comfortable! Fantastic view of the sea from our balcony and a delicious dinner as well as breakfast. Also thoroughly enjoyed the spa with two saunas and a steam room along with a salt pool, hot tub and another indoor pool.

Otelden genel olarak memnun kaldık. Otoparkı var. Konumu çok iyi. Otelden çıkıp birkaç dakikalık yürüyüşle şehrin en kalabalık yürüyüş yoluna ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Otelin hemen arkasındaki plajda otele ait şezlonglar var. Plaj taşlı değil, deniz güzel, yavaş yavaş derinleşiyor. Kahvaltısı güzel denilebilir. Domuz ürünleri yemediğimiz için et ürünlerinin olduğu birçok seçeneği elemek zorunda kaldık ama kahvaltılık çeşit sayısı fena değil. Otelin ferah ve aydınlık bir şekilde renove edilmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Odadaki eşyaların eski ve kirli görüntüsü, odanın ve koridorların loş olması kasvetli bir hava uyandırıyor. Temizlik konusunda genel olarak memnun kaldık.

Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel. It has a parking lot. The location is excellent. After leaving the hotel, you can reach the city's busiest walking street with just a few minutes' walk. There are sun loungers belonging to the hotel on the beach right behind it. The beach is not rocky, and the sea is nice, gradually getting deeper. Breakfast is decent. Since we don't eat pork products, we had to skip many of the meat options, but the variety of breakfast items was not bad. I think the hotel needs a bright and spacious renovation. The old and dirty appearance of the furniture in the room, along with the dim lighting in the room and corridors, creates a gloomy atmosphere. We were generally satisfied with the cleanliness.

I Would Stay Here Again

Overall, it is a very nice, modern, clean facility. The grounds are clean and very well kept. The room was very spacious. My only complaint is that there were a lot of issues with my room card. There was an electrical system issue that they could not seem to fix completely. As a result, I had to visit the front desk several times or wait for service personnel to visit my room to attempt to remedy the issues. I will say that the staff were very quick to respond every time. This is the only negative thing I have to say about my visit. I would stay here again.

Great location. The property was renovated and it’s roomy and modern. The staff is great. We used the spa on daily basis - everyone did a fantastic job except for Martin. He was too rough and rushed and felt like he didn’t have a formal training. Three of us had similar experiences with him.

Good location, disappointing stay

Reception service was disappointing, some of the receptionists were ok, but most were just unfriendly. I know this because I had to use reception at least 7 times, my key card was not working frequently and needed replacement at least 6 times in the course of 2 days. I did not hear an apology from the staff, neither they made any attempt to compensate the discomfort this caused me. The room was smelly when I first entered, with old furniture, and a kettle with instant coffee, which is not the standard of a 5 star hotel. On a positive note, sheets were clean and new, towels were good, as well. Breakfast was ok, food was good, fresh fruit plus basics. Coffee was instant and served in pots, so ordering espresso will cost extra. This was disappointing, again, not what one should expect at 5 star hotel. Location is good, pool was ok, spa nothing special. A therapist refused to wear a mask during a massage. Hotel guests wore masks randomly, stuff would not ask them to put on a mask while indoors. Overall, hotel stay was ok, but I would not stay there again. The hotel is marketed as high- end, but in reality, is far from a high-end standard.

Nice location, directly on the beach, with a very good spa area. Two bad points: no free access to the gym (?!?) and the breakfast: tasty but still the variety and quality should improve and the most important, coffee!!! It was the worst coffee I had - the good part is that you can pay for a good espresso.

wonderful surprise!

Our stay here was way too short. If we’d known in advance what a lovely hotel this is and had more time we’d have extended our stay. The room we had was comfortable and spacious. If in Bulgaria again I would certainly stay here again! The breakfast buffet is varied and tasty. Having free parking was lovely and the lift was essential.

Little things make a difference

The hotel is beautiful,This is a luxurious hotel, decorated with unique items. The staff are courteous, and the room is spacious, clean and comfartable.
But we were surprised that in a five-star hotel there were no bottles of water in the room,.The breakfast was good and again managed to surprise us, for Capuccino we had to pay!!

We came to Burgas for two days and it has been one of the best stays! The hotel is beautiful and clean with elegant designs and wonderful staff who take care of you and treat you well. Probably the best hotel in Burgas

The hotel is ideally located right next to the beach and the Sea Garden, and within walking distance of some excellent restaurants and the main shopping district. Which is pretty much all you want in Burgas! Service was excellent, and the meals I ate in the hotel were also fine. I really couldn't fault it.

The Primoritz is from what I know the best hotel in Bourgas. The hotel is well established and pleasant to stay in.The Rooms are large and to a good standard. The pool and access to the beach are top notch. The beach is really nice for EU. Breakfast is included which I found to be poor for the standard of the hotel but decent enough . The Service is also not great. Some staff members are really good others very poor. It’s a mixed bag. Also I found some of the staff to be a little prejudice on darker skin colour.
Overall though for the rate and location I highly recommend this for a Burgas traveller. Please note this is a lil far from Sunny Beach so don’t get confused when booking it.

The hotel is very pleasant and clean. The sea/garden view is priceless. Breakfast is way below average. I wish the hotel offered a room rate excluding breakfast. The menu for lunch or dinner is decent and the food is delicious. No chairs were available at the beach even for a fee first week of June. I'd come back but would go to Neptun (beach restaurant nearby) for breakfast. SPA/salon is impressive and worth visiting.

Great hotel near beach and centre of Burgas

Underground parking is available so the car was whisked away. Lovely large room with balcony and views over pool, garden and the sea. Huge comfortable bed. Everything worked well. Nice terrace for breakfast and delicious buffet.

Five minutes walk from centre of Burgas, train and bus station. Two minutes walk to the sea through a park and the hotel has its own bit of private beach with loungers and umbrellas. Lovely pool outside and inside. I had an excellent and reasonably priced massage.

When I check out room on reception they wante to pay agein I tell to receptionist that I pay via sait hotel.com fully pay!they not believe me and l pay at the moment after I make phone call with my bank .The bank employee tell my transfer is made for hotels.com and all is ok.Then I say that on receptionist they make phone call and after she give my money back!I was happy!I have only one note not good communication between hotel.com and Grand hotel primorec receptionist didn't see on computer information that I was fully pay!!

Bulgaria has alot to learn about hospitality indus

It's hard to be too critical when the issue is a social one and not specific to the hospitality industry, but this site requires that I do so. I found this hotel lacking in many areas, but location and food wasn't one of the issues. Bulgarians take food and dining very seriously. A+. The location was amazing. I was able to take wonderful walks along the Sea Garden and into town. Minuses are every interaction with staff, by the pool, restaurants, front desk and in passing where disappointing at best, hopeful for just rudeness, but worst was the occasional combativeness. I was confronted angrily by a wait staff about my country of origin, then the manger came over and tried to laugh it off while this person stared me down from behind him....really quite unbelievable...

Very comfortable stay, and kid friendly

This hotel is very conveniently located in the port city of Burgas, and I heard from several local people that it is considered the best hotel in Burgas for visitors from out of town. The hotel itself is very pricey relative to the standard of living in Bulgaria, but I was glad we spent the money to stay there. I booked the Junior apartment which had a hugely sized room with a king size bed and a sofa bed. The best part of this hotel was the outdoor pool (really clean water) and the 3000 sq feet spa which was so relaxing (they had aroma sauna, hot sauna, and wet sauna that I loved and a huge indoor pool, Jacuzzi and kids pool). Our 6 year old son had plenty of entertainment swimming in the kids pools, and the beach was literally in front of our hotel. The free breakfast which was included with our stay had many choice and traditional dishes - we loved it ! We will definitely return next year and stay at the Primoretz Hotel and Spa.

The hotel itself is indeed above the average standard. The hotel facilities were lovely and we were given a top-floor room with an outstanding view of the city. I would say that the staff were very nice to us, but you could tell they haven't been trained or disciplined how to interact with each other when there are guests around: the bellboy started shouting at other staff for obstructing the elevator whenever he was bringing our luggage up to our room, and the servers were very loudly talking to each other across the restaurant as we were having breakfast. Otherwise, reception staff were very polite and nice to us.
Overall, I loved the one night we spent in Primoretz, the location was fantastic (just next to the Sea Garden and 10 minute walk to the city centre) and I would recommend it. They have high standards, as a hotel should for the money they are charging.

Free Water ??

One of the best hotels in the area, The only strange thing was,I stayed 2x nights, The hotel gives you complmentary water the first night, then they charge, and dont put it next to the bed anymore. Also the 10€ Wifi is a disaster you have to log on all the time with a huge password. Otherwise nice hotel.

Everything in the hotel was perfect, except for the reception staff when we checked in: the guy was quite rude and asked for example that \"what makes you think that you have already paid for the stay\".

Otherwise we loved it. The roomservice was fastest I have ever seen, the room was gorgeous, the pool area and spa were lovely. And the town is wonderfull. I will stay here again.
