The Ac was too cold. Was told it was set at the temperature to prevent mould.
I have never stayed in a hotel before where I had to use Towels and my coat ontop of my duvet. I eventually asked for a blanket after 6 days and also a secondary pillow as the only pillow was too soft. My family also had a room and they said it was cold they also asked for extra blankets. The mattress was hard/firm gave me hip ache. They did not supply bottled water in room for making teas/coffee. Had to go down to reception to fill the water jug in room every day. Which was not enough water so we bought bottled water and reused the empty bottles about 5/6 bottles a day.
No Face cloths were in room. Again never stayed at a hotel that does not supply face cloths.
Positives,
We slipped the room service a good tip initially so had great room service. We had a long stay so the cost was very good. Location was great near MTR and close to Nathan Road. Overall Value for money.

This is well connected, a minute from the metro station. The main entrance for YMCA wasnt on Wellington Street- no signage but there was for Cityview.

Check in was fairly swift. The room is tiny, i was scared to knock the hanging tv off the wall as it was so close to the bed and i kept brushing against it.

There is a fridge and kettle provided but no iron, which are the basics i would expect. I slept comfortably.

There are no coffee chains nearby so i could grab a coffee from mcdonalds or from the corner shop. There are plenty of cake shops.

First night was terrible. We are given the newly renovated room and were extremely small. We are 3 rooms away from the lift lobby and the whole night able to hear the slamming noise.
Overall, the staff not friendly and poor service.

Great location. Close to a metro station easy to get around the city. Lots of local restaurants nearby and conveince stores on the doorstep.

Room was great. Good size and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good customer service as they helped us recover our lost luggage which was much very appreciated.

Would look to stay here again when I return to Hong Kong.

Amazing location. A21 airport bus, metro, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. Laundrette just outside. Very easy to get around hong kong. Breakfast not included but don't bother as can get sandwiches or other options for half the price very close to the hotel. One bad thing, water dispensing machines only in lobby, they should be on each floor. This gets annoying after finishing each day of sight seeing.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Very spacious room with a great view. The location is superb too, right besides the metro, shops and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and nice. The young guy at the concierge went extra mile to help me. I wanted a taxi to go to Shenzhen right away but there is no taxi waiting outside and he’s not sure if any taxi would come soon if he called them so he went outside to search for taxis until he found one. He also took me to the taxi, helped me with my luggage, and told me I should get a receipt from the taxi driver when I arrive. I cannot thank him enough for this. Thank you very much! What a wonderful experience! I will definitely stay there again!

I had book a family room for 4pax, 4 single bed, Room was big and toilet was big too. There 2 shower area. The room is clean and the service was extremely good..
Staff was very friendly , only the open door staff look not so friendly.
The only things is Plug not enough. And mirror area dont have a plug beside.

Our stay at The Cityview – Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong was, unfortunately, very underwhelming.

From the beginning, it was clear that we were just another customer to them, nothing more. There was no sense of warmth, care, or personal attention, and the experience felt purely transactional.

While we recognize and appreciate their efforts toward environmental responsibility, it did not feel like the same level of care was extended toward customer experience. The service lacked engagement, empathy, and any attempt to make our stay feel comfortable or special.

In the end, it was simply another hotel for us, nothing memorable, nothing special. And honestly, we felt the same way in return. A stay that meets basic needs, but without genuine hospitality or care for the guest.

Excellent location! Room is clean and big enough . but the bathroom was very small , and you can also hear the noise in the hallway at night. So if you are a \"shallow\" sleeper, it might not suit you , but otherwise it is great! Close to everywhere and making things so convenient.

We choose this hotel for its location close to a MTR Station and the main area of Kowloon. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful. We had a problem with the room safe and reception sent someone to fix it right away. We opt out of their breakfast promotion as there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

I booked a premium 2-bed room. But room size was smaller than i expected and different from the one I stayed a week before. The bathroom was clean but the windows were covered with white plastic film to block outside view. Plastic films were peeling and not what I would consider \"Premium\"!
