Location was ok, but very noisy at night. The sleep, however was terrible. The bed was not comfortable, the bedding old, pillows awful. Every time you move, the bedding old squeaks very loudly. You can hear people in the other apartments as though they are inside yours. We had the unfortunate experience of a group playing very loudly music at 6am and talking loudly, following a night of people being very loud at a pub across the street. Not sure we got even an hour of sleep. There were also stains on the mattress that were very visible through the thin, old sheet.

No instructions were sent to me before check in, even after contacting them asking for them. I had to get hotels.com to contact them to get the check in instructions.

Also, for two people, only two towels were available. No hand towel, or mat for the shower.

Overall, such a disappointing stay. Do not recommend.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. This is the first time I simply got up and checked into a different hotel. The apartment space is okay. It’s located on the fourth floor of a building but the elevator has been out of service for months according to residents of the building. Had I come with older family there’s no way they would have gotten their luggage up or been able to make the trek every single day. After we checked in the first thing we noticed were the white stains all over the couch. We booked a bed + sleeper so that 2 people could use the apartment . No worries we thought let’s check for sheets. None provided. Then we looked at the pillows. No pillow covers in the pillows. We stripped the bed of some sheets and used some of the sheets from the bed for the sleeper. But it got worse. The first person who used the bathroom didn’t have an issue. What other reviewers mentioned as a septic smell began. After flushing you’ve now allowed septic smells to begin flowing up from the toilet. We didn’t realize this until we returned home at night. The smell was nauseating. Nothing we did besides opening the windows would clear the smell. Even when we awoke the next morning it was rancid. We promptly checked out the next morning. This might not affect all rooms, but other reviewers mention it so heed the warning. Additionally after checking out, support never bothered following, so that should tell you everything. Exe Hotel is cheaper and around the corner

Recently returned from a stay at the K33 Boutique Apartments. The check in process went well, and this was all done by what's app. We stayed on the third floor, which was a massive inconvenience as the lift was broke. We had to carry our suitcases up three flights of stairs, and given the heights of the ceilings in the appartements, this was quite a task. Once in the appartement, we noticed a smell of sewage coming from the sink and shower. When we tried to log on to the wi-fi, the network that they instructed us to use was not visible. After breakfast we wanted to dry the items that we had used after washing them, but there was no tea towel. There wasn't a hand towel in the bathroom. We were supplied with one roll of toilet paper for two people for a three night stay. When I contacted them via what's app, I get a very quick initial response (which may have been generated by an AI bot?) apologising and telling me that they would look into some of the issues, but that they do not own the building, so the lift was not their responsibility. I have contacted them again since asking for a partial refund, and after telling me these matters usually take a couple of working days to respond to, have not heard anything back and it has been nearly two weeks since our stay. They are now not even reading my what's apps. I am extremely disappointed by the radio silence from this company regarding my stay.

Apartment was clean, kitchen was not equiped for basics that you need to prepare food. Tv and WiFi didn't work. Reported to staff on the first day and informed someone would look at it but never come to look or fix it. Apartment is in a good location for exploring the city be mindful that they are on the 3rd floor and lift does not work

We were there December and January and there was no heat. Also no wifi and no working elevator. I contacted staff daily to make them aware of the situation but I think I was corresponding with a bot. Despite promises that maintenance was aware of the situation, nothing was fixed (for three days). Orbitz was of no help in getting a refund. Do not book this accommodation.

Hi Already made a compliant regarding the stay. No keys as promised , have to and got the emergency key to open the door. no breakfast for three days , filthy place, broken windiw, no toiletries provided.K33 gave alternate accommation afyer long hsul standing in the cold for 4 hours, which was a tiny box. Tricked me giving the same accommation sending different poctures.9

Room was fine, clean and warm. We were on the top floor with no lift access - 100 steps (I counted) with two heavy suitcases was a challenge! Also, had 2 towels for the week - we asked for more and it took days to deliver and they were thin and small. It said one change per stay but we didn’t have this. The balcony where the bed is looks good on the pictures but it has a low ceiling and I banged my head multiple times. Very low ceiling suitable for 4ft people. Good location but felt a bit creepy in the entrance way. Had to get key card from a separate location 10 minutes away, arriving at 11pm then seeing this message wasn’t a great start. Cheap and cheerful. Better if you’re only staying a few nights not a full week.

Picking up the key card from a location that’s over a 20 minute walk away is not ideal, there is a cleaning fee included in the cost. However, when we got there the smell of the bathroom was horrific, hair and dirt on floors, mould in cupboards and when using the air con all night we found mould/dust in the morning which had fell out of it and onto the kitchen counter, signifies this hasn’t had any maintenance in quite a while and we generally always woke up feeling ill.

The logistics for accessing the key are very poor, as we have to go to another location where the reception is, making it difficult to access the apartment for those arriving from a trip. The apartment has an intense bad smell coming from the bathroom plumbing. There are not enough towels or toilet paper. A payment was made for a service to welcome the birthday girl, but the concierge did not carry out the decoration along with all the requested items. We requested a refund but have not yet received a response. The couch had a burn mark or tear mark from another previous guest.

Apartment was on second floor and although it was a little small it was clean and in a relatively central area. We only had 2 towels for our whole stay, no hand towel or tea towel, so this needs to be improved. Yes there are bins in the bottom stairwell but people live in the apartments so you would expect a bin store, there was no smell from the bins.
The fact that we had a 25 minute walk to collect the key to access the property was not acceptable, we were not aware of this when we booked and probably would have chosen an alternative property as this did take extra time when we were only staying for 48 hours and took us out of our way, the lady at the reception wasn’t very helpful at all.
Overall apartment was fine for what we needed but having to collect a key 25 minutes away wasn’t acceptable.

Awful! Somebody entered our apartment at 1am with a key card, said they'd been told this was their apartment. They had been remotely told to go and get the master key from a lock box and given our apartment number. Staff were not concerned just said sorry it was a mix up in rooms. Staff also tried to blame the other guests saying it was their fault they entered the room. Also, no staff on site when the master card given out. No check-in information sent prior despite booking stating they would contact 24hrs before. Arrived at 1pm after receiving an email where to check in and my apartment number. Returned at 3pm for check-in, room had not been cleaned since the previous guests (dirty beds, alcohol bottles etc) staff told us to go out or to wait with the cleaner in the dirty apartment around them cleaning. Cleaner arrived as we did. Couldn't get into our apartment until 4pm. Building door code is unreliable and we were stranded outside at 11pm waiting another guest to come out so we could get in, contacted the host and did not get an answer. Bathroom had bugs in the shower and was unclean. Staff were unprofessional. Building itself is very old and rundown - lift is broken, staircase is dark with no light. The apartment doors do not have an internal lock, if the master card is given out anyone can enter. Never known an apartment to give out the master card to guests. Also states housekeeping everyday, nobody came to clean the room/ change towels.

Clean and modern room. Central location, everything was easily walkable to but also has good transport links nearby. The shower pressure and heat was also good.

Bathroom smelt musty. No complementaries such as water, tea etc. We had no remote to the TV, asked twice and still recieved no remote. Ceiling in the bedroom is very low and easy to hit your head, the stairs are also very steep and dangerous as there are no railings on both sides. Sofa bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. Pillows were flat. The lift didn’t work. Chairs in the room were very uncomfortable, there is only 1 mirror in the whole apartment which is in the bathroom, no full length mirror. The room is also smaller than expected, the pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is. There are also bins in the entrance which are very smelly and no lights so it is hard to see at night time.

Then the hvac didn’t work because there were no batteries in the controller. WiFi did not work. Tv did not work. After hours support couldn’t help much with the issues…

The apartment was modern and stylish, the entrance may be a bit misleading but once in the apartment it has a very homely feel.
Host was friendly and informative and made us feel welcome.

Nice little apartment in the heart of Budapest

The Apartment location is fantastic. It is in the VII district right at the edge of the V and VI district which puts it right at the heart of all the entertainment and food areas. The staff was very attentive and very nice.

The building is old and it shows, the elevator didn't work but my apartment was only on the 2nd floor so it wasn't a big deal.

It was clean and bright. The only thing is the bedroom loft has a very low ceiling (under 5'5") so you have to remember to not stand up straight when getting out of bed unless you are under 5'4" or shorter (I banged my head a few times)

One more minor thing was that although there is a range there are no pots and pans so you can't actually cook anything. I don't know they have any upon request, I didn't end up asking them since restaurants were quite inexpensive in the city.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.

The apartment was great clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city. Eyal the host kept on touch with check in and out instructions and even sent recommendations on places to visit, eat and drink. And would help with organising these as well if you wanted. All in all a super stay in budapest

I stayed in the Superior apartment. It was neat, comfortable, clean. I would like to point out that if you look at the picture of this room you will see a staircase to the main bed in a loft area. Two points about this. The ceiling in that loft is about 5 feet 8 inches. As my wife and I are just about that height it wasn't a problem though i did bang my head 3 times on the lamp in the loft. The second thing is there is a rather perillous staircase which does have a rail on the wall side but nothing on the room side. This wouldn't be good for seniors or anyone with walking problems particularly in the dark. Other that the room will work for most everyone.

I am happy I chose BQA apartments for our stay in Budapest. Very convenient and a block away from the 4/6 yellow tram. Very easy to get around and within walking distance to other public transportation too.

The room we stayed in was very nice. We were happy to find a washing machine inside our room. We didn’t see that info in the room amenities section. It really helped to have one to wash our clothes.

Overall we enjoyed our temporary home during our stay. Thank you.

The host was amazing everything explained to us and messages sent throughout our stay, great location and apartment was spotless and big enough for a couple , didn’t have a kettle not that we needed one and no hand towels , also I couldn’t stand upstairs being 5ft 4 my partner is 6ft 2 so had to duck but was only to get into bed so want a problem either,but that’s only minor things .

This apartment is great if you want to stay within the main busy part of Budapest. It is a very convenient walk to the many different metro stations as well. The apartment itself is very clean and the facilities were very good (though there is no oven, but there is a microwave and a hob). The staff were very helpful both in getting to the apartment and recommending activities. I would say it is best for shorter "city breaks". I would stay there again.

Worst hotels.com experience in the 7-8 years used

Unequipped, smelly bathroom, uncomfortable sofa bed (not possible to sleep on), cheap broken IKEA bed, management didn't offer anything except fixing an already uncomfortable bed. I ended up leaving. They didn't even offer a refund.

Appena siamo arrivate abbiamo trovato la stanza fresca con l’aria accesa ed in condizioni ottime, pulita ed in ordine. Il letto era comodissimo, siamo state veramente bene. L’unica piccola pecca è che il bagno era un po’ maleodorante. Per il resto è stata un’esperienza davvero molto bella, consigliatissima!

My room was next to staff cleaners storage and the rooms were very poor isolated so during all morning you can hear the staff outside your door working, talking to the level that it sounds like it’s inside your room. So can’t sleep very late.!

War für unseren Urlaub ausreichend, Küche heißt für mich aber nicht nur ein topf und eine Heizplatte die in die Steckdose gestöpselt wird, sondern vielleicht auch ein Wasserkocher ein Trockengestell oder ein Geschirrhandtuch (waren leider nicht vorhanden). Zudem verhielten sich die anderen Gäste der Unterkunft extrem Laut. Zudem war unser Fenster leider auch im Treppenhaus weshalb eigentlich nur von 3 am bis 7 am absolute ruhe gegeben war. Nix für Leute die Probleme mit ihrem Schlaf haben.

La chambre était bien emplacement parfaite, par contre pour avoir la clé de la chambre galère et pour avoir les bons coupons pour le petit déjeuner, très compliqué pour nous. Ficamos por 9 dias no apartamento K33D1 que é grande, chuveiro bom, cama confortável mas, faltam utensílios básicaos como: cafeteira, copos, pano de prato. E o pior: o elevador não funcionou nenhum dia, escada perigosa cheia de neve escorregadia, lixo nos corredores.
Aquecimento faltou e o ar condicionado não dava conta por dois dias e a luz também faltou.
A historia é sempre a mesma: amanhâ a manutenção vai tentar resolver e não resolveu.

Rummet var iskallt då dem hade öppnat fönstret i badrummet för att släppa ut den fruktansvärd avloppslukten! När vi stängde fönstret gick värmen upp en grad men lukten blev 1000 gånger värre så vi kunde inte ens förvara vårt bagage i lägenheten.

L'appartamento nonostante fosse spazioso, non era molto curato, segni di usura e non troppo pulito. Il condominio era piuttosto malandato, muri scrostati e escrementi di piccioni sui ballatoi. Non è stato comodo fare il check in, nonostante avessi caricato tutte le info sull'app comunque siamo dovuti passare per la reception a 20 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento. Quando potevano farci trovare la chiave di casa in un looker tramite combinazione. Buon potenziale, ma c'è da lavorare.

Unterkunft für sich war ordentlich und bequem, es war nur sehr heiß in der Wohnung und die Heizung konnte man nicht drosseln. Das Problematische simd Check-in und -out - man muss cs. 25 Minuten zu Fuß und den Schlüssel zu holen und abzugeben. Und darüber ist man vor der Buchung nicht informiert. Daher rate ich von dieser Ferienwohnung eher ab.

El apartamento es precio, es limpio y con todas las comodidades en cocina, baño y salón. El personal de la oficina es muy atento y te guardan el equipaje el día que llegas y al hacer el check out si lo necesitarás.
Está ubicado en el barrio judío pero muy cerca de la calle principal junto a la Ópera, sin duda un acierto.

El ascensor no funciona y el edifico es sucio y antiguo pero como todos en Budapest.
