We loved this space, 3 bedrooms 2 bathroom safe building with lots of amenities within walking distance. Well thought out with pretty much everything we needed such as toiletries, laundry soap, dishes etc. The beds were very comfortable and all king size which was great. It was also super close to the central train station so it made moving around Sydney a breeze and had many restraints, pubs etc very close.
The only feedback I would offer would be more comfortable couches for multiple people to sit on, could also use a couple of new frying pans and while there was instant coffee provided a coffee maker would have hit the spot.
But overall a great place to stay and would definitely stay again.

Took a chance booking this place based on pictures on Expedia and user reviews, knowing nothing about the place or area first hand. The apartment I had a 1 bed with kitchen, laundry spot and small living room area. Stayed for about a week. I didn't need any amenities along the way, so I can't comment about that service if someone would need it. Overall, everything was great. Clean, comfortable, etc. I asked for some extra towels on arrival which were waiting for me. Instructions that were sent ahead of time. Instructions sent ahead of time were helpful to get into the front door upon arrival with easy communication with the person overseeing things. They were able to allow me to check in very early in the morning without additional fees which was extremely nice. The area has tons of places to eat and very walkable. I did not have a car bit was told they had arrangements if I did. Two small things. 1. There was some construction on the bottom floor that was intermittently, very loud for a few minutes during a couple of the weekdays, which was a bit annoying things in the moment, but not too much to deal with in the bigger picture of my stay. 2. There was only one mirror in the entire apartment, which was in the bathroom, and it would have been good to have another one perhaps on a big empty wall in the bedroom. Great place to stay. 3 good sized bedrooms with very comfortable king sized beds. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The property manager Suzanne was very helpful. Some very good restaurants and bakeries close by. Easy bus ride down to the harbour area. Highly recommend staying here.

The property was presented well. It was clean and tidy and had everything necessary for our stay. The only issue that we encountered was the shower mixer had come completely off, making adjusting the shower difficult.
The location was great and walking distance to Central Train Station. I would recommend this accommodation to others and will use again in the future.

Excellent property - very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Full kitchen with utensils and washer dryer in unit. Property provided cleaning supplies and made it like home. Spacious living area and a wonderful balcony. It has a great view of the sunset. Close to a park and multiple transportation stops.

The Botanic Apartment Hotel is very clean and well maintained. The communication with the manager was great and self-check-in went smoothly with the provided detailed instructions. Parking is available in a gated garage, which keeps your rental safe. Cleaning personnel was in four days after our arrival and cleaned the apartment, to include changing of all bedsheets.
I highly recommend this property for family vacations.

Have some issues during checkin as my flight in to Sydney was in the early morning and waited till 3pm for check in as i was unable to reach anyone and expedia and the contact number provided by expedia are all unreachable. The email sent to me was.. for some reason.. Only received a couple of days after i checked in. It was my mailbox issue.

Apartment has two bathrooms and one was equipped with bathtub.

Overall clean but one of the bedsheets have some bad looking stains. Comfortable beds.

Kirchen was well equipped and spacious.
Balcony is great to let in fresh air.
Overall it was a great stay.

Remember to request for late check out as the standard time is 10am which is way too early.

We reserved a two bed apartment for one week. It was modern, spotless and really well equipped, full kitchen accessories, everything you need. We were given dishwasher tablets and washing detergent. Long balcony extenting the entire apartment. Easy check in. Good A/c. Washing machine and dryer. Wifi is fast. The building was quiet. Bus stop is close by or take a short walk to Central Station to get the light rail. Surry Hills is a lovely part of Sydney. I would recommend the property, one of the nicest I've rented. Thank you Suzanne and your team.

We stayed as a family of 6 and absolutely enjoyed our time. From initial communication to checkout - the process was seamless and easy. There is great connectivity to the rest of the areas because of proximity of a train station that is 10 mins walk from this home. Plenty of food and coffee shops nearby. The apartment itself was clean and modern with a kitchen setup for easy cooking.

Perfect accommodation to mix business and vacay. The apartment was well set up for working remotely and perfectly comfortable as a vacation retreat. Plus, the location is conveniently located in Surry Hills, with restaurants, public transport and lifestyle shops nearby. Walking distance to Oxford Street and Haymarket areas too. Very helpful customer service too :)

Fantastic apartment hotel

We have just stayed at the Botanik for two weeks. It felt like a home away from home. Great location close to the city center without being right in the middle. Short walk to central station to catch trains, buses and light rail to take you right downtown. The apartment was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Communication with Suzanne regarding checkin and out and for any questions was excellent. Highly recommend. We will try and stay here every time we come to Sydney.

Apartment had all I needed. Pillows were a bit hard and a full length mirror would be ideal in the bedroom or dressing room. Bedside tables need table lamps for softer light and reading in bed.. Ideal situation for transport near station and Surrey hills area. Balcony was not big enough to sit out on in this apartment but very well equipped and good communication.

The position was close to our sporting events and convenient to centeral Sydney hot spots. The apartment was perfect being self contained. We could prepare most meals for our sporting events and wash our sporting uniforms every evening, the unit was very convenient.

Cleanliness and condition of apartment was great. Well maintained. Suzanne was prompt with her responses during the few days leading up to my check-in, though she needed a little prompting for sending of check in details.

We heard the rubbish truck collection noises at 4.30am while sleeping (although apartment faced away from the main road).

Place is a 15min walk away from Central station, area is safe in general and there are some eateries nearby.
Self service check in and check out. Would recommend this place!

Check in instructions were clear, but it took a little fumbling in the dark to see where the key boxes were.

Excellent property exactly what we needed for our trip to sydney, clean, quiet, well equipped great room sizes we travelled as a family with 3 kids. Even had family over for dinner and still didnt feel crowded with 10 of us in. Would highly recommend. Just a short bus journey into city or all the way to circular quay.

Good location close to most services. Apartment lacked some facilities and equipment that I would have expected like a bottle opener, a mixing bowl etc for cooking . A small hand held vacuum would be helpful as no cleaning services until day 8. Provision of basics such as body wash is very limited so had to purchase. Adding info about what facilities are available for TV would be helpful - expected to have more than basic cable or an ability to plug in other functions to view Netflix etc

My parents were very impressed with the cleansiness of the place, spotless. They had a room towards the street but couldn't hear any noise at night. The managers are amazing. So lovely and attentive. Any question I had was basically answered immediately and any requests were attended to. The location is not the prettiest, but very central to everything you need- buses, trains and not far from Chinatown and Darling Harbour. If I have to find something that my parents didn't like, it has to be the tiny coffee plunger. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location, close to central train station
Tastefully decorated one bedroom self contained apartment with a health food cafe downstairs, very convenient t for busy ppl.
Although I have stayed at Botanik previously at rated it 5 stars all round, this trip the bedroom was a little dusty and I was sneezing for the first few days when in bed until my nose settled in. I’d say the particular apartment I was in may have been vacant for a while due to covid. That’s a guess though.

(1) It is a great property located at Surry Hills, or on the Elizabeth Street
(2) Conveniently located not too far from bus stop, and some walking to the Central Station where you could get on the train and tram. If you are using the CityMapper app, then you could use the bus which will stop right in front of the apartment
(3) Really easy to check in and check out
(4) The place is new and generally clean
(5) Our unit comes with full kitchen and washer, so good for our stay

(6) The communications between us and the apartment manager could have been better. As I called and all no reply, neither the manager returns my calls
(7) So all communications had to be through e-mail
(8) Food choices could be limited if you are planning to eat out
(9) The air-conditioner functions really strangely, while we turned it on, it took some time to be cold, and when we turned it off, the whole apartment is really cold

It feels like home, everything is proper, clean, and decent. Room is quiet, basically equipped with everything we needed. However, I strongly suggest to have a blinded curtain in the living room, which people can easily see through our living room right now.

It is a bit difficult to contact the “landlord” as there is no reception for us to reach. It shows there will be a cleaning lady coming to clean up our apartment if we are staying for 7 nights or more, but until the end no one came and helped us on cleaning. But overall it’s a good apartment hotel, highly recommended. Thanks

Arrived from Brisbane for a week’s stay to see my daughter. Safe, convenient location and a nicely furnished apartment that was the perfect size. I would have appreciated more practical cooking resources (eg. Mixing bowls and pans) to utilise the kitchen fully but everything else was terrific.

Loved the location and how close it is to Central Station
Communication from Suzanne (property manager I believe?) was very prompt and she provided us with anything we needed incl. a late check out at no extra cost.
The 3 bed apartment was very spacious and fitted 6 adults comfortably and had 2 bathrooms.
The only flaw was that the air conditioning was complicated to figure out.

There were a lot of pros for this place. Check in was pretty simple
10 min walk to Central station
Clean, simple, modern space
Had all the amenities you would need including detergent, dish soap, lotion, shampoo, etc
The only con which isn't a big deal for me but just to put it out there, the shower has no door which allows water to splash out onto the main bathroom floor.
Again, I would definitely recommend this place.
