Very average in most ways, below it in one.

Pretty basic place overall. It has a bar and a restaurant but it's certainly not haute cuisine. The sevice, certainly last Friday night, was truly awful. The recption staff were helpful enough, and the cleaning team were very friendly and helpful with a couple of things like directions, keys that didn't work and their general attitude. Maybe swap them with the waitress! Waitng over 20 minutes for someone to come and clear the table is not good, and even then we had to ask her to do it! We were not asked once if we'd like another drink or a dessert. After spending five minutes patiently waiting at the bar, having given up on seeing a waitress at the actual table, someone was finally roused after I enquired at reception. I was then told that dessert was not availlable as the kitchen was closed. We had been trying to order for nearly half an hour but didn't see anyone! The place was not busy, two of us and a table of 6 was it. Reasonable breakfast, but an amazing lack of cereals for those who start their day that way. I also thought it was a bit cheeky to charge for parking, there's not really any other way toget here without quite a walk.

That's wrong!
50m some rough road and then you are on good asphalt.
Max 15min by walk and you are in \"Ogrody\" tram station. \"Polska\" bus stop may be nearest, but we don't use it. Nice restaurants nearby. Like a 4 stars when paying for 2.

If you want some cheap trip with proper bed, this might be yours?

Stayed twice and it was good. Having a refrigerator; a water heater, some tea bags and an extra bin in the sleeping area would add more value. Otherwise all is excellent.

Good hotel

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The staff at the reception were nice. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed comfy. The window was isolated well, so noise from the street didn't disturb. There's a lovely botanical garden nearby. I'd definitely stay here again.

Budget hotel handy for the airport, but severe lack of staff resulted in very poor service; waiting 15 mins to order a drink and food, then drinks order was forgotten. Can't blame the waiter as he was working flat out serving others, but we arrived late / tired / hungry and this was far from ideal.
Nothing in the local area, so you may want to make other arrangements...

Value for money hotel for a short stay

What this hotel offers is mainly value for money.
Rooms were quite comfortable.
Few disadvantages though.
Shower cabin was rusty here and there.
There was only 1 towel even though we booked for 2.
The hairdryer was not working.
Overall cleanliness level was not very good.
One of the main reasons why we chose it was also a private parking but there was a technical problem with the gate so it was open all night.
Still the price was very attractive overall.

Completely unsuitable for those who want to visit the town. The hotel is placed near the highway so the access of Poznan down town becomes kind of a problem if you don't like to use your car. .

We stayed in the hotel few times but this time we felt a bit unhappy when chef told us that we have to wait 2 hrs to get any meal because in 20mins are coming group of 30 people and they are to busy to cook one more meal for one person, very disappointed...

We stayed in this hotel 2 nights. The service at the hotel was very good. A reaction to all of our requests was immediate. We did not take a breakfast , so I cannot comment on this. The location of the hotel is a bit distant from the center, but there is a frequent tram (lines 2 and 17) which take you to the very center of the city in 15 minutes. To reach the final stop of the tram one needs to walk about 10-12 minutes. We had a car with us, so we praked it near the tram stop and took a tram into the center area. Parking at the hotel is available but it costs 29 PLN which is quite expensive given the fact that it is neither in the built nor residential area. Overall, we enjoyed staying in Campanile, Poznan.

Nice hotel, bit out of town

No complaints whatsoever about the cleanliness of the rooms or the facilities, free wifi throughout the hotel and a good breakfast. Rooms are a decent size. Only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of town and a taxi (costing about 20-30PLN from city centre) is really the only way to get there. I could live with that and reception arranged taxis into city promptly.

Rooms OK, but bad service

Directly from the freeway, and no shops or restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and OK. but the receptionist was not very friendly and non- smile-ing. She told us, that the restaurant closed at 8.00 pm. but it was closed allready at 7.00, so no dinner for us that day. Next morning the restaurant was behind scedual with half an hour, and the breakfastbuffet is nothing to write home about.

A clean, comfortable, welcoming hotel. Staff helpful & friendly, especially on reception. Evening meals are good & very reasonably priced.
Downside - you really need a car for this hotel ( nearest public transport is a 10 to 15 minute walk away) and the breakfast is a little pricey. Having said that, we would definitely recommend it & go back again.

Overall the hotel had the conveniences of being within a 10 minute walk of a main tram line, had Wi-Fi, had a decent enough restaurant, and was comfortable enough. What it lacked was the sort of quick willingness on behalf of the staff to provide quick and good service. The servers at the restaurant were extremely slow - and when I'd ordered Lithuanian Borsht, received noodle soup (as if I couldn't tell the difference) Depending who was on duty at the desk, I received either superior and ready help from a fellow who spoke very good English, or with some less skilled with English, received a reluctance to acknowledge my presence.
On a week end I returned to my room at 7pm to find that some fresh towels had been supplied in the bathroom, but the room had not been cleaned. I ended up changing to a new room because somehow they were not able to get the room clean.
For the most part, however, it was a good experience - but very variable service as compared to a good hotel in the US.

This hotel is great

We stayed at this hotel overnight in order to catch a flight back to Canada. We booked in during the afternoon, there was plenty to see and do within walking distance, the room was basic - ikea style furniture, 2 single beds. Top quaility bedding, room was spotless. The food was good but pricey. I would stay here again.

Stary hotel, pajęczyny na ścianach, brud przy klimatyzacji, odpadający miejscami tynk, brudny materac, dziurawa pościel. Najlepsze czasy hotelu już dawno minęły. Restauracja wieczorem zamknięta, byłem ok 19 i nie można było już nic zjeść.

Low quality but good staff

The rooms are in a bad shape and the hygiene part is really bad.
Stains on the pillow cases, hairs found in newly made bed, stains on the lamps, i guess the airco also had some fire going on in the past.
The shower curtain has white unexplainable stains..Adults know what I talk about.

Photos are included in my review.
Price is low but dont expect much.
Staff is friendly but the hotel is in a bad shape.

Update: We got a new room that was clean and nice. Thanks to the reception and the friendly staff of the hotel.

Dobry wybór przy ograniczonym budżecie

Obsługa klienta na recepcji ok, ale bez fajerwerków. Po prostu weryfikacja osoby, podpisanie dokumentów i wydanie klucza do pokoju.
Napisy na drzwiach i innych powierzchniach nawołują: \"czuj się jak w domu\" etc., ale o to trudno. Nie ma takiego nastroju.
To hotel dla mało wymagających, ale to dobry wybór dla podróżujących samochodem i z ograniczonym budżetem.
Pokój wystarczająco duży, na pierwszy rzut oka czysty. Meble absolutnie minimalne i raczej tanie. Widać, że hotel powstał po czasach PRL i później był trochę odnowiony.
Łazienka bardzo mała. Prysznic ma absolutnie minimalną moc, więc woda płynie wolno, bez prądu. A szyba przy prysznicu jest mała, więc woda pyska na boki. Jest jeden pojemnik na płyn pod prysznic i pojemnik drugi na mydło w płynie przy umywalce. Niestety ten drugi pojemnik był pusty. Więc zostało korzystanie z własnych płynów.
Śniadanie odbywa się w dużym pomieszczeniu na parterze. Ale oferta ograniczona. Raczej standardy: jajecznica, parówki, kiełbaska. Do tego ser żółty i szynka w plasterkach. Bułeczki mrożone i odgrzane w piekarniku (po chwili robią się twarde jak kamień) i chleb. Mały zatem wybór i średnio smaczne, no ale coś jest. Kawa z ekspresu jest. Żadnych słodkości.
Lokalizacja przy torach kolejowych, czasem słychać pociągi. Z drugiej strony trasa szybkiego ruchu. Z hotelu można dojechać tylko samochodem.
