Very well located within Rotterdam Central area. The area is a little busy and noisy because of all of the bars around, however it made it convenient when looking for a place to eat, etc. Museums, parks, and transportation are all within walking distance. Staff is young, dynamic, and always super friendly and helpful. We were two adults travelling and we enjoyed our stay.

For Budget friendly travellers. Value for money

Right in the middle of Witte. Really pretty hostel and price was affordable and helped to me to stay within budget. Brought a 24” luggage, couldn’t fit in the under bed locker but the room was big enough to store my luggage beside my bed.
Within walking distances of multiple famous food places such as Supermercado and Bazar. Worth a visit!

One night in Rotterdam

This is a really great spor and by far one of my best hostel experiences.I needed a bed for the night because I was leaving early the next morning and it was unbelievably clean! Also, the service was bar none the best I’ve ever had. The staff are fun, friendly, and so knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Only thing to keep in mind is that if you are staying in a mixed dorm you will need to hike to the top floor which is three levels so pack light. Nevertheless, they also helped me with my luggage and agreed to store if I needed it and again just fabulous service. There is a bar on the main level and people were partying late into the night but I had no trouble going to sleep.

Be mindful that the hostel doesn't have any elevator. Got my room in the 3rd floor and i was carrying quite a big luggage, thankfully the staff was helping me to carry it upstairs! Location is great, fun street. 15mins walk to the centraal station

Great place but noisy

There were private curtains in the queen sized bed bunks. Everything was great about this place aside from the noise at night. As there’s a bar at night, the noise goes on until past midnight and is impossible to get sleep even with earplugs. Great if you love partying.

A nice hostel in popular hangout street

A nice clean hostel in one of the liveliest little streets in Rotterdam. Bedrooms are clean and quite roomy with big lockers to put in anything we need. Note that there are no elevators so if you have a lot of luggage you may have some trouble getting to your room. Also the hostel is at a street surrounded by bars and cafes. I felt safe there because there are always lots of locals and tourists hanging out, but it may get noisy at night so take note if you are a light sleeper. Nice kitchen with well-stocked cutlery and plenty of space to sit and work. My dorm room had wide windows so I got a nice bit of light and I can open the window if I need a bit of air. Cleaning is done every alternate day so pretty happy with cleanliness. Thank you!

Cool but also hot

Man, this hostel gets so many things right. I love that their bar/cafe is reasonably priced but that they also let you bring in your own meals to the tables at the back, plus cook in their very clean guest kitchen. I loved the luxe female dorm and its huge beds. The staff are great too. Thanks to Alissa who started my stay in Rotterdam with some amazing recommendations upon check in.

The one big thing that let this hostel down for me was the lack of air conditioning. On the night of a 27-30 degree day the room was sweltering and we would all wake up each morning literally drenched in sweat. The fan doesn’t provide any air flow to the top bunks and I am still covered in mosquito bites because we needed to have the window open for air (even though it barely opens). I understand that it’s not like this all year round but cooler rooms would be a huge improvement.

If they install air con, King Kong will have a ten out of ten from me next time I visit ;)

OK for a short stay

I went to Rotterdam for a concert and since all other hotels were booked or eildly out of my price range due to the marathon happening that weekend, I thought this hostel would fit the bill for the 3 nights I was staying.
The hostel is in the party area of Rotterdam (something I wasn’t aware of). As you’d imagine, it gets incredibly loud in the evenings and trying to transit that street is an “experience”. I wasn’t there to party so this wasn’t a plus for me at all.
The hostel is close to a few metro stations and a 20 minute walk away from the Central station.
The hostel facilities are fine. The dorm I stayed in had double beds and each one had a curtain around the bed so that was quite handy. The mattress and pillows are horribly uncomfortable though but I guess that’s to be expected from hostels. I was glad not to be charged extra for towels and bed linen and I thought it was quirky but thoughtful that they give you a banana when you check in.

Best hostel experience so far

Super spacious and clean bed, curtains for each bed guarantees privacy. Friendly and helpful staff, plus great food in the cafe downstairs all made my great stay in Rotterdam.
P.S. They also provided a banana on our arrival which was super cute!

The hostel over all was a good one. It was clean and seemed new. Rooms were big clean and quiet. Check in was fast and easy. The area around the Hostel has shops and bars just right out side. The only down side was the pillow was paper thin. I had to use sweaters to prop my head up but other then that good location and clean property.

Set in one of the best locations.

The location of the Hostel is incredible, it's in the heart of Rotterdam and extremely easy to get around (I brought my bike with me). Didn't stay in the room too much so i can't comment too much on that but the room size was descent and it had a clean onsite shower and toilet. Highly recommend if you're going with a group of people.

Their staff are awesome, both are polite, kind and sincere. Hostel feel modern, with great facilities in new condition; dorm are better than expected.

I was in Rotterdam to admire and document the architecture for roughly a day. After a 12 hr train journey from Copenhagen, it was a relief to be greeted by such friendly staff, a comfy bed, and lounge with Netflix waiting for me.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staffs. I upgraded to the double bed dorm with curtain which I like it a lot. No air-condition in the room therefore the room will be warm and stuffy during summer. More clothes hanger in the bathroom will be good. Overall a great hostel.

Nice hostel on a noisy street

My friend and I stayed at the 6-bed female dorm for two nights. The hostel feels modern with cool design. The location is convenient. The street the hostel is located is about the only place with anything happening in the evening in Rotterdam. It has lots of restaurants and bars, so it gets very noisy at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had breakfast there one morning, it was decent for the price. The dorm bed we had was actually a queen size, and it was quite comfortable. The dorm design is nice, but there are a couple of things I didn't like about the room. Accessing locker took some coordination, there were four lockers and only room enough for 1 person to stand in front of them. It takes a tall person to reach the lockers at the top. The top bunk only have one electric plug, so you have to choose between having a reading light or charging your electronics.

I doubt its possible for a better hostel in Rotterdam

I doubt there is a better hostel in Rotterdam. The place is super clean. The staff is super friendly, particularly Alyssa and Buddy. Its easy to find by a 10 minute walk from the Central Train Station and is located on a street with plenty of nice places to stop for a bite to eat or drink with plenty of budget options to high end options. I was able to walk to all the places I wanted to see from here such as the Museum Park, Euromast, and Maritime Museum. Also was easy to find the water taxi for the World War II Exhibition of the Bombing of Rotterdam.

Free coffee and tea around the clock.

I wish breakfast was cheaper but with the same options. I wish the WIFI was more stable, particularly during peak times.

Unclear to misleading room description

Booked a private twin room. When we arrived found that we were in a dorm room with our two beds seperated off from the others by a curtain. I originally thought that this must be a mistake. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they said that this was the correct room and that it was an issue between the manager of the hostel and Expedia. The staff explained that they didn't have a spare twin room available and gave us a free breakfast as way of apology. As it was quite late and I was soaking wet, having been caught in a serious downpour cycling from Brugge, I didn't really feel like finding a new place to sleep and so accepted the breakfast and bed.
The room and staff were perfectly nice just not what I was lead to believe I was booking.

Best hostel experience I've ever had. Great location, free coffee, beautifuly maintained facility, breakfast offered on site, good kitchen available, lovely staff, spent lots of time sitting in the comfy chairs out side watching the world go by close to pubs , resturants and a good grocery store.. We were a group of 6 and would come back in a heart beat.

Very very nice hostel

Much larger than except, not difficult to find but you have to walk for a while. In downtown area, there are many bars and quite a lot young people there. Staffs are friendly. Facilities are very good and the design is beautiful.
The hostel is very new so not many people living there.

La ubicación y la decoración me parecieron excepcionales y el personal muy amable. Lo único malo es que está justo en una calle muy concurrida, por lo tanto bulliciosa. Para mi por lo menos, la tranquilidad es primordial, aún así, si volviese a esta ciudad maravillosa, este hostel sería una de mis primeras opciones.

我住宿兩晚但好像需要再換房卡因為我第二天出門回來感應不進去後來跟櫃台人員確認它有在換一張房卡給我這點在安全上做得還不錯飯店本身好像是咖啡廳環境不錯附近很多東西吃只是因為位於很熱鬧的地方如果半夜怕吵的人可能會睡不著不過整體來說算滿不錯的！

ロッテルダムの駅から結構歩きます。(トラムを使えばすぐかもしれませんが)
賑やかな通りに面しているので、平日でしたが、夜11時くらいまでうるさかったです。

エレベーターがない&階段が急なので、大きいスーツケースがあると大変だと思います。
スタッフの人も運ぶのを手伝ってくれる雰囲気ではなかったので、部屋にスーツケースを持ち込むのを諦めました。
最低限必要なものだけ取り出して、スーツケースはストレージに置いてもらいました。

スタッフは併設のカフェと兼務している人もいるようで、常に忙しそうにしており、対応してもらうのに待つことが多かったです。

部屋は女子ドミ利用。清潔にしてありました。

青旅距離附近輕軌站步行約5分鐘，距離中央車站步行也大概20分左右，房間很大舒適，除房間內有廁所外，房間外的每層樓也有廁所，方便急需使用，非常貼心。此外也有提供毛巾，唯一缺點大概是沒有電梯，有帶大件行李的要辛苦一點。整體而言蠻推薦的喔。

設施、員工、廚房和房間都很棒，但樓下的酒吧在半夜時會很吵，不論平日或假日，會從 10 點吵到 4 點才會結束，戴著耳塞都還清楚聽到牆壁因為音樂在震動的聲音，不推薦淺眠者入住。

另外房內沒有樓梯，若有大型行李得自行扛上樓。

Maravilhoso!!!

Que hostel lindo!! Ao chegar a sensação foi: ‘ deveria ter ficado mais dias aqui’. Estrutura e decoração incríveis. A área da recepção, bar/café e cozinha já são ótimas. Ao entrar no que achei que seria o quarto mais uma surpresa! Nao sei como funciona nos outros andares, mas fiquei no último, e lá primeiro você entra em uma super área de convivência, com redes, puffs, violão, espelhos .. e para essa área existem varios quartos, onde a porta foi substituta por cortinas, o que ao meu ver não afetou em nada a privacidade dos quartos, e ainda evita barulhos de porta das pessoas entrando e saindo. Apenas a circulação entre as camas que poderia ser um pouco maior, talvez se tivesse uma cama a menos seria perfeito. Os banheiros também são ótimos e bem limpos. Enfim, com certeza se voltasse a Rotterdam escolhia esse hostel novamente. Apenas alguns pontos que poderiam ser melhorados: a falta de elevador realmente faz falta, principalmente pra quem esta no 3 andar. No check out temos ainda que levar toda a roupa de cama para a recepção, já não é fácil descer 3 andares com malas, imagina ainda ter que levar a roupa de cama. Outro ponto é a iluminação do banheiro. Ele é bastante escuro, e apesar de existir luminárias em cima de cada espelho, não achei nenhum lugar onde as mesmas pudessem ser acendidas.

Erg vriendelijk personeel!
De kamers zijn redelijk ruim, je hebt voldoende privacy door middel van gordijnen voor het bed en de kluisjes zijn erg ruim. De badkamer is ietswat aan de kleine kant voor een kamer waar 8 personen kunnen verblijven, maar dit is niet storend.
