Amazing hotel in a stunning location.

The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The views from our rooms were amazing. Meals were excellent with a great choice for breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the free shuttle to and from the train station is a real bonus. The only minor criticism is the air conditioning had been turned off for winter which seemed a little early (mid October). We were a little too warm on the first night. Overall a great place to stay in Sorrento and we would definitely visit again.

The view from Hotel Cristina was beautiful. The shuttle was very convenient at ran frequently between the hotel and the train station. The rooms were clean and modern but were not spacious. The food was great and the breakfast was an amazing buffet with many choices and a lot of food. All that said, the best thing about Hotel Cristina was the people that worked there. We enjoyed speaking with each person and their smiles a great start to each day.

The views from the hotel are beautiful! It offers an excellent buffet breakfast and a very attentive staff.
We rented a Vespa and getting around was super easy ; we could reach the center of Sorrento in just 5 minutes!
They also provide a shuttle service, which made it very convenient to get to Sorrento on our first night, both going and coming back.

Excellent relaxed hotel

Excellent hotel situated outside of Sorrento. The hotel provides a regular minibus at set times from Sorrento station to the hotel which needs to be booked in advance. Taxis are about 25-30Euro.
Food was excellent, views stunning, staff really nice and helpful. A highlight was eating at the restaurant terrace overlooking the bay of Naples.

We stayed at the Hotel Cristina for 5 nights and had the best holidays ever! Clean rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, breathtaking views and great breakfasts were included. The rooftop pool was a big bonus, too.
The hotel is located a walking distance from Sorrento Train Station (downhill), with an option of a free shuttle bus between Sorrento train station and the Hotel.
The double rooms we've stayed in were clean and tidy and big enough to comfortably accommodate 2 adults. The view from the tarrace was to die for - sea on the left, Vesuvius and beautiful mountains.
The team at the Hotel Restaurant went above and beyond to provide us with the best dining experience. From the warm welcome to the mouthwatering dishes, every aspect was top-notch.
There were different kinds of fresh bread, sweet and savoury croissant and cake selection, bacon and scrambled eggs, pastries, ham, olives, cheese and quiche every day. Freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee also available. All of this with the Mount Vesuvius view right in front of your eyes!

Thank you Hotel Cristina for helping us to create great memories and to celebrate our daughter's birthday, too. Little surprise from you just made her day super special!

A beautiful property with a great view. Unfortunately, it is far from everything. Taxi drivers take complete advantage of tourists. Owner of hotel should consider offering a free shuttle to Amalfi in the morning and in the evening

The views are stunning. The hotel is up on a hill accessible by a narrow road. It is not easily to walk anywhere else if you've got a family. The free shuttle to the train station is a welcomed benefit. From there, an easy way to explore Sorrento restaurants and shops. Though the room was small for a family of four, the built-in storage was helpful. The bed is a bit too firm and it would be nice to have 2 layers of bed blankets instead in 1 thick duvet. You are either too hot, or wake up freezing when you throw the duvet off in the night. I enjoyed dinners at the hotel restaurant especially at sunset and the prices were reasonable. The breakfast buffet was the same everyday. I appreciated the fresh orange juice, cappuccino, and array of freshly baked delicious croissants. The service and staff are excellent, helpful, and welcoming.

What a lovely hotel. Everyone was so nice and willing to help from the front desk to the shuttle drivers to the restaurant staff! The shuttle to town was so helpful and they were always on time. However, there were a few days that we had to meet a tour in town before the first shuttle time but it was an easy walk to town as well! We loved staying here and didn’t want to leave. The views from our room were spectacular. We will definitely stay here again, no doubt!!

The views from this property were more than gorgeous. I had a view from my room, the restaurant, the pool, and other areas. The shuttle was fantastic and easy to use & sugn up for. The only issue I had was tour groups not wanting to pick me up the hill that the hotel was located on. I scheduled a couple of things before the shuttle service started so i had to walk down the hill to meet them. It was only 5 minutes and had no issues but its good to know if you might have trouble walking bc the walk back up was steep but doable. The stay at this gorgeous hotel was worth the little hike for me.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and helpful to answer any questions we had. Everything was always freshly cleaned. Our room was cleaned and towels refreshed daily, which was a welcome surprise (they don't do that in the U.S). Breakfast was included in our rate and it was excellent. There were options for everyone, and everything was delicious. Coffee/espresso was made to order and it was excellent. The staff was always friendly, and they even knew our orders after a couple of days. The breakfast room had a beautiful view of Mt. Vesuvius. We also had dinner and lunch once at the on-site restaurant, and that was also excellent. We used the shuttle to downtown Sorrento daily and that was always easy and reliable. We also walked to and from downtown a few times. Very doable and good exercise! The gym/fitness center that the hotel gave you access to didn't open until 7 or 9 depending on the day, which is a bit late for us, so we ended up running the hills around the hotel for workouts instead. I do wish the gym was accessible beginning at 6am, but it's ok, we made it work. The pool area was beautiful. The water was quite chilly, so we weren't able to swim around really. That's really my only complaint, is that the pool was quite cold. This was in late April. We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it was an amazing room. Lots of space, nice decor, and nice patio.

Everything about this hotel was nice – the staff were extremely friendly and kind. However, transportation is very difficult. It’s a 30-minute walk to the nearest train station, and if you have luggage, it’s almost impossible because the hotel is located at the top of a mountain. They claimed to offer airport transportation (possibly for a fee), but they never had any cars or shuttles available. Instead, they suggested we take a taxi for €200 or stay at a hotel in Naples and take a train the next morning. Overall, the property is clean with beautiful views, but transportation is very difficult, and the hotel does not seem to take this issue seriously. Don’t rely on their promise of airport transportation.

The view was lovely and the bar was pleasant. The down side was the lack of transport to the hotel and the large hill you needed to walk up which was difficult for more elderly visitors. It was also a 30 min walk to the town square. Overall would recommend but location wasn’t suitable for everyone.

What a find this hotel was for our trip to Sorrento area. The staff are absolutely amazing. Stunning view across the bay of Naples to Vesuvius and a short ride into Sorrento. Hotel puts a free shuttle bus on too. Room with balcony was immaculate, breakfast perfect and one couple of occasions we ate in their restaurant which was excellent too. Book it!

Great hotel to stay close to Sorrento. The staff was extremely helpful, the bedroom (2 rooms) was spacious for a family with two teenagers. The views were fantastic. We enjoyed watching the sunset at the terrace of the bar, and having breakfast watching Mount Vesuvius. The breakfast buffet which is included in the price was fabulous. So much delicious food that we could skip lunch and just have dinner every day. The shuttle to town was very convenient. The property is very well maintained and clean. We all had a fabulous time!

We loved the location. Just outside the craziness of downtown. Amazing views of the town, ocean, Mt. Vesuvius. All the staff we interacted with were fantastic. Our balcany was beautiful. The views from the pool terrace were amazing. Breakfast on the terrace was awesome too. We ended up having to rent a car last minute to get to Sorrento and the staff were wonderful to be able to vallet it for us in their garage. This was our favorite hotel on our trip to Italy.

We loved staying here! We had the Villa property, which involves a steep uphill walk for breakfast, pool, and shuttle. If you have any mobility issues, just book the normal hotel rooms. We loved breakfast and also had dinner in the restaurant. Our villa was great, but the hot tub wasn’t working. Shuttle was perfect. Francesco was so friendly and wonderful during the breakfast service. Highly recommend staying there.

Very nice hotel. A bit dated, but still quite nice and clean. Some reviews state that it was noisy in the room, but mine was quite quiet. Breakfast service and food were great. The service in the evening (dinner) was not nearly as attentive, but the staff looked visibly tired by evening and it wasn’t intentional. Some of the best food we ate was at the hotel, not in town and not even in very good restaurants in Rome. The shuttle service was always right on time and that is a perk. We were given giant check-out breakfasts boxed for us on the last morning free of charge. Overall a nice hotel with terrific views in any room 4th floor or higher. Balcony was very pleasant in the evening. USB ports all over the hotel room was also helpful.

We found it very disappointing to find out that the spa wasn’t on site. The staff were not very helpful when we asked them for recommendations. We found the shuttle but to be good but should have started early as we couldn’t get into town for some of our tours and had to walk.

The restaurant in the hotel was very good with a great view. We ate both nights in the hotel. The hotel is not walkable any where and is on a hill. Although the hotel provides a free shuttle bus that takes you to the bus station which is in the middle square with great shopping and restaurants. Drop off is Close to bus train or ferry access in Sorrento. We took ferry to Capri and booked a tour at a place on our walk. The hotel has convenient tours while I recommend where they can book for you at front desk which are affordable. We booked a half day tour to Pompei which was long enough. They do hotel pick up. Although you need to take free hotel shuttle to bottom of hill to catch your tour bus. We would have booked our Capri trip at hotel but you need to book the day before. If you go to Capri highly recommend the chair life ride and the circle boat ride around the island. Blue grotto is closed most of the time but still a beautiful ride. This hotel was very nice with great pool views and fireworks can been seen from city some nights. Great breakfast as well. Staff very nice. Again the free shuttle service is a big plus.

I don’t have anything negative to say about this hotel. It was the first time my family of four stayed in Sorrento. Hotel Cristina is truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly, providing top-notch service with a personal touch. The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable, with every area meticulously maintained. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and offer stunning views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

Its location is perfect—close to the heart of Sorrento, with easy access to Capri and the Amalfi Coast, yet it remains a peaceful retreat. The pool area is serene, and the restaurant serves delicious cuisine.

Overall, Hotel Cristina offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay in Sorrento!

Just got home from an absolutely beautiful visit to Sorrento staying in Hotel Cristina. Everything about this hotel was just perfect! A gorgeous room and outside area with a perfect view, delicious fresh coffee (can even take away if you leave early or want to take to your room), great breakfast, didnt eat dinner but menu looked great, outside bar area looks over the coast and watched the sun set which was special, hourly free transport to the centre and back, lovely pool...havent a bad word to say!

Thank you for a purely wonderful stay, we didnt want to leave!

Pepperty is located away from center of town, about a half hour walk or 15 minute drive, they do offer a shuttle to and from Sorrento train station, which was very convenient. The pool was awesome to have but the ladders do need to be fixed, they are shaky when getting in and out and feel like could come out of concrete at any moment.
There are several terraces with the most beautiful view, which is also the view you get from your balcony, absolutely amazing. Room is small, but ok. We didn’t like the shower, water kept coming out of the bottom corner where it connects with the wall, had to use towels and wring it out after use. Towels did get replaced immediately though.
Breakfast was included and was pretty good actually, with amazing cappuccino!

I spent a bit more than I usually do when traveling. It was worth it. The view from the top of a cliff town of Sorento, amazing! You could see Mt Vesuvius from the pool(lovely), the restaurant and our room with a balcony. Again, Amazing. They have a shuttle that takes/picks up from the local train station. This is just a 5 minute walk to the quaint town and 10 min walk to the ferry port. The staff was helpful in booking an excursion and understanding some train information that I had booked. Our room was updated, with nice AC and a bathroom separated from the sleeping area. Highly recommend.

My wife had a bad knee, could not walk. The bus driver would not pick her up. It was not in a proper downtown stop. You may need to tell them one hour in advance. If you have a mobility problem- this NOT a place to go.

This property was perfect for my solo trip. The hotel offered a shuttle to the train station, and it was so easy to get from place to place from there.

The hotel staff was helpful and patient with my poor Italian. They have many English speakers on their team which makes it super helpful to ask specific questions and knowledge of areas nearby.

Their breakfast was a beautiful spread with many options…pastries, eggs, fruit, yogurt, and most importantly delicious coffee.

They have several terraces with breathtaking views, and their pool terrace always had a nice breeze. The pool was well kept.

I was able to meet the owner, Marco, and he was genuinely delighted to welcome all of his guests.

This hotel suited our budget more than the hotels in Sorrento centre but had way better views. The free regular shuttle bus solves the out of town problem. The reception staff were amazing- super helpful responding to WhatsApp messages promptly. Breakfast was decent though we preferred the fine dining restaurants in town on an evening. Would stay here again for sure. Great overall - recommend. :-)

A beautiful and great view of the city! We were happy with our stay and the service and staff were amazing! The shopping centre and restaurants were close enough and walkable.

Very nice and homely hotel. Friendly staff. Located on the hill with nice view of Sorrento Bay from our balcony. Decent restaurant for dinner. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Pool is decent size, water was a little cold in early June. Convenient shuttle to and back from Sorrento train station. Only thing I missed is easy walkability as the road to the hotel up the hill had no pavements and maybe risky to walk. The convenient shuttle did make up for this aspect. Cab ride was usually 25 euro although station was less than 5 min drive.

Such a beautiful property. Our view from our room, and everywhere, was spectacular. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant was amazing. I’m still thinking about the cheese ravioli. Also the shuttle to and from downtown was so convenient and easy to set up. We had a wonderful trip with this hotel as our home base.

This was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. Hard as a rock and springs jabbing into me, I barely slept. Now onto the wonderful things. The views from the property at absolutely stunning. They have a free shuttle that takes you to Sorrento which is a huge convenience. The staff was great as well.

We liked the staff. The breakfast. Breathtaking views.
However i chose this hotel specifically for 1- relaxing 2- gym access.
After arrival I was told the actual gym is about a mile walk away and not accessible hours. Such funny hours when you’re most likely out sight seeing like openings like 9am. And open late only on MWF. Which was too dark for a woman to talk to and back. This was very disappointing and false advertising.
Secondly; the shower didn’t drain despite reporting it to the front desk multiple times. So the bathroom would fill up with water. Yuk! After each shower.

The hotel was nice, and the AC was pleasantly cold. The balcony was enjoyable, and the pool was clean. Our pool attendant and bartender were great.
The only downside was the $25 taxi ride to the central Tasso area. However, the hotel did offer a shuttle service that ran every hour. You just needed to inform them 30 minutes in advance. The earliest shuttle was at 8 AM, so plan accordingly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Cristina & would recommend it to anyone. Our room was exceptionally clean, quiet & had a fabulous view. All the staff were amazing , nothing was too much trouble & they went above & beyond to help. The breakfasts were great & the restaurant food was delicious without being over priced. The Courtesy bus worked really well via messages on what’s app. Would love to go back.

The shuttle service made everything very walkable to the Main Street and attractions in Sorrento. We had a rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view overlooking the coast and the hotel is located on a quiet street away from all the traffic and noise.

Views across the bay if you a get a sea facing room are awesome to sit and watch the sun go down.
Only negative are the beds are a little on the hard side

The staff was very nice and helpful, including the option of having a shuttle to the city center. View is great from the room and restaurant. However, the hotel itself is outdated, room is dirty and old, there are no proper shades in the room. For the price I would have expected a more comfortable experience.

Excellent property! The free shuttle service to & from the Sorrento train station is key & setup is simple with WhatsApp. The train station is a short walk from all the shopping & restaurants in Sorrento. The hotel rooms are very spacious & we had a private balcony with 2 loungers & table with 2 chairs with an amazing view of the Gulf of Naples & Mount Vesuvius. The rooftop restaurant is a wonderful addition with a great view. We had dinner & drinks several times and the food is delicious. In addition, breakfast is included & the food selections was amazing. Customer service top notch too…. my husband accidentally left his cellphone on the shuttle bus & the driver located it & brought it to us at the hotel restaurant. WOW!
