This was a lovely hotel on the palm. Most staff are very attentive. Rooms exceptionally cleaned regularly. Service in the bar was hit or miss. We managed to have a room right next to the 24/7 construction site. But tbh it was white noise. Imagine some people would not be happy.

We booked a beach side apartment and were put in a room with views of a building site, then we were asked to pay an additional tourist tax. Staff are nice, food is good, but it’s a shame they can’t give you what you paid for….

Full blown construction site working 24/7 next door !! Spent 2 nights with no sleep then decided to leave, , offered larger room by the Manager !! How will a larger room reduce the noise & dust !!
Complained 3 times about no hot water over the 2 days along with a constant dripping cistern, nothing fixed !!

Our stay at the Wyndham Residence was comfortable. The hotel itself does not have its own pool, though they provide access to another property nearby.

The staff were polite and provided standard service, though not quite at the level you might expect from a property located on the Dubai Palm.

Overall, I think this property is best suited for families with children or guests planning a longer stay on the Palm, rather than groups of adults looking for a more upscale or resort-style experience.

Thinking that this location will have an exceptional service, I was wrong. The place is a mess. Renovating the floor and the lifts and it’s still being rented out, come on Wyndham!! It felt like I was living in a construction building with dust and machines laying around.

Lovely place to stay

One of the best holidays we ever have. The hotel is nice and clean. All staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was very spacious with kitchen and balcony with a beautiful view of the dubai marina. Cleaned every day. Coffee, tea and water refilled every day. Very tasty breakfast with fantastic people working in the restaurant.
Free bus shuttle to Dubai Mall which was very helpful..
The only negative thing was pool which has been under construction but we could use orher one 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Basically highly recommended 👌 everything was it should be.

The fact that we didn't know that the pool or beach were available until we arrived frustrated us a bit, but the staff kindly offered us a solution by changing our residence to another of their properties right next to the hotel, this relieved us quite a bit although the fact that we had wasted some time exchanging rooms dismantling the suitcases and reassembling them was an unnecessary stress that could have been saved with a message before our arrival, more... knowing that we came with girls aged 2 and 4. in any case the stay was very good and they were very friendly, they have very good taste and we ended up enjoying the pool beach

The property itself was nice but the service in several areas was not good. Room service would. It pick up the phone on multiple occasions. Even called the front desk with no answer on one occasion. I went to the restaurant twice to get coffee and no one was at the reception desk and no one came at all. I left. There’s also no place to buy snacks or sodas. Judith in the kids zone was awesome while we were there though!! Others were eager to say hi or ask us if we needed anything but I would not stay here again.

Internet, tv are laggy. Very minimal amenities. Basically no dining options. No bar. Couldn’t get a chair on the beach the 3 days we were there. Expect to pay $40 each way for an Uber to get anywhere. I would rate this as an overpriced 2 star accommodation.

Sadly another negative review for a Wyndham hotel. The hotel itself is really nice, fantastic room and great staff. However the room I had overlooked massive building works which was super noisy except on Sunday when there was no work. The hotel describes itself as having a beach and pool, well it doesn’t as it’s a private beach club. We were told and all the signs say you have to walk to another hotel.

The hotel itself was excellent with extremely helpful and courteous staff and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
However…….. There’s a huge construction site next to the hotel and it seems that the workers are there 24hours of the day!
I know this isn’t the fault of the hotel but I thought these things stopped in the afternoon/early evening

Great location for those who desire to be on the palm. The pool/beach bar is excellent, you will not want a better experience. The rooms are spacious and generally finished to an acceptable standard, staff are generally friendly. The property has some areas to improve. To begin, the dining facilities need some work, the breakfast is of a below average standard - there are cases where food runs out and generally a large proportion of the food is not to the standard consistent with the price or food in Dubai.

There is construction next door to the hotel and they gave me a room next to it . They work at night, so I couldn't sleep. I checked out after the first night, I booked three, thanks to EXPEDIA.COM one night was refunded. It was all a terrible disappointment.

The property is not soundproof. The noise coming from the outdoor activities are very annoying.
Also, we were always hearing the noise of the drainage water coming from the floors above when someone is showering or washing to the extent that me, my wife and my kids couldn't sleep during night.

Great holiday retreat out on the Palm crescent. Down side is the construction noise from new hotel next door but that's not their fault. Property is clean and spacious. Friendly polite staff. Good pool area and made use of the beach area. Restaurant is OK. Taxis readily available otherwise your limited to the Monorail 2km down the road. Overall a positive experience.

My familly recently enjoyed a fantastic two-day stay at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort met iur expectations. The pool and beach areas were beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxation. The hotel vicinity was not overly crowded and lot of options for dining. Our room was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. We had a kitchen as and add-on and all necessary accessories were provided. Overall, you’re looking for a place with great service, excellent amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere, this hotel is an excellent choice.

I had a wonderful 7-day stay at this hotel in Dubai. The generous size of the studio was impressive, and it came equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher and a washing machine that also dries clothes automatically. The room was exceptionally clean, and I must commend Mr. Jurendra Akabay for his outstanding job in maintaining our room. Overall, it was a 5-star experience all around.

This is not a 5* hotel . I have been travelling to Dubai since 2005 and stayed in many hotels which were 5* this hotel didn’t come close to it . The complex is geared up for residence. If you sit around the pool you have to pay for a lounger because you’re not a residence . However you can go on the hotel beach for free . Sun loungers are disgustingly dirty , every single one of them and the floors around the pools are not cleaned . The breakfast restaurant. You can take 10 minutes or so to be seated not because it busy because it never was when l went for Breakfast it’s because some of the staff were lazy . I asked a women for butter and she told me they have none and why she that because she couldn’t be bothered to go and get , so l went without my toast , The only good thing about the this hotel is that our rooms were 10/10 for cleaning, also the guys who cleaned them were great . We had 4 rooms in Wyndham Residence & Hotel and all of my party felt the same . My son is a resident in another part of Dubai and me and my family went to celebrate his birthday & my granddaughter too. I could not wait to leave there . Be warned to that if you stay on the palm you will pay tax on everything you drink and eat and this will not include the hotel tax which is separate.

Great Place On The Palm

We arrived on an overnight flight arriving at the hotel at around 9:30am. Being very early the room was not ready but we were shown where we could change/freshen up, leave our bags and headed to the beach, a great way to start our stay.
The room was amazing, we had a studio with full kitchen facilities, the room was spotless, plenty of space and lots of storage.
The staff were very helpful and especially in the restaurant, April was outstanding, always smiling and helpful along with Dev and his colleagues, a real credit to the hotel.
In some reviews people had complained about the lack of options etc regarding the food, we were half board breakfast/dinner, the breakfast selection was varied with several choices of eggs also. The dinner menu normally had 5/6 choices per course so not too limited but we did notice the menu does repeat so if you’re stopping a while you may find it limited. All of our choices were perfect, well done!
The beach was fine, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, we never tried the pool however there is only a very small space allocated to hotel guests by the pool and looked very cramped and unappealing! Stick to the beach!
One downside, noise! There is a large building site next door but the noise pollution is minimal at present however some of the villas on site at the beach are not yet finished, the noise from these is horrendous 9-5! If you want peace use the other end of the beach!
Overall great value and well worth it! Don’t let the noise put you off!

Hotel is fine but i was expecting more from an elite 5 star hotel. The service wasnt a 5 star treatment. The hotel accomodities are fine however the restaurant was very disappointing, i felt inside 3 star restaurant so small, there isnt food variety at all. I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy the half board or full board, kts better if you eat a burger from the beach restaurants.

We had a great stay at Windham and thoroughly enjoyed our spacious one bedroom apartment. The resort, pool and beach area are clean, well organized and activities are available like boating and boarding and more. The restaurants offerings were good but room service food was definitely to be improved.
The housekeeping staff who took care of our room were wonderful and very helpful with all our requests. We will definitely be back to Windham as soon as possible! Thank you to all the staff!

I had a special time at this property, amazing location, views, and room. Amazing staff at valet, reception, housekeeping. The greek restaurant food was delicious. Bertha at reception was a highlight.
The Thai soup and nachos from 24 dishes can be improved, as can the peperoni pizza. Also, the pool staff don't display the same level of hospitality/friendliness as the others.

Good staff howver the moment i wanted a shower i learnt after running water for over 20 mins.
Then the switch wasnt starting and needed changing .
So it took another hour to get the heat working
Then there was an issue with the flush that required getting house keeping to make that functional again.

The floor around the best had broken glass and had not been cleaned adequately.

Everything was fantastic. Except for the sounds from a nearby construction site. You can't enjoy your stay if there's so much noise. Another comment about the view: the hotel does not have a sea view category because a building blocks the view. The same has been communicated to the property management in order to avoid misleading the visitors.
