the offer from the internet contradicts what in reality. beautiful surroundings, but terrible conditions. we slept in old rooms, dirty carpet, building like a barrack, was hot from the sun and no air conditioning. the offer includes many sports attractions, but the equipment is devastated, moldy, broken. shame propose to guests. I don't recommend either.

Really nice hotel. Amazing grounds! Staff really nice and friendly. Kids loved playing in the grounds with all the sports toys available. Had a lovely walk down by the river. Breakfast really good. Good location for Legoland. We would definitely stay here again.

Over all it was good value for a large family. The pool was good and excellent breakfast. However dinner choices are limited and beds were not comfortable.

Nice place to stay near Legoland
We stayed at Vingsted Hotel for two nights because of its proximity to LEGOLAND. The room was clean, very quiet, and came with a great breakfast buffet. Some of the staff was not particularly friendly and seemingly annoyed when asked about the pool (accessible only during certain hours!) and the zip line (out of order). The trampolines were a big hit with our kids though. Overall a good experience. Would stay there again.

Great Base for Family with Room for Improvement
This was a very good hotel near Billund, and it worked really well as a base for visiting Legoland. It’s a modern, well-equipped hotel with great infrastructure.
It suited my kids well — they had access to an indoor area in one of the conference rooms with mini golf and even some kind of setup that allowed them to play badminton. It was a great way to keep them entertained between activities, especially during the very hot season.
However, the room we stayed in had almost no ventilation other than two windows, which made it extremely difficult to sleep at night. That was a major downside for us. We asked the reception for a fan, and the staff did their best to help us find one. It helped a little but didn’t completely solve the problem. We understand that the building isn’t ideal for heatwaves, but it was still very uncomfortable during the night.
Breakfast was average. The coffee wasn’t very tasty, but they did offer a wide variety of food options, which was a definite plus. One highlight was the excellent service — both in the restaurant at breakfast and at the reception. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and that left a very positive impression.

Hotellet ligger ute i «ingenting». Men hadde masse kjekke aktiviteter og er kort kjøretur fra flotte plasser og aktiviteter. Fantastisk for en familie med barn å bo her.

Vi fick ett rum utan AC i och det var väldigt varmt. 2 barn och gravid fru så var det inte optimalt. Vi fick snabbt flytta in i rum där det fanns AC. Under natten märkte vi att AC i det rummet läckte ned kondensvatten på golvet och blev ett rätt rejäl pöl. Dagen efter hade de skickat upp tekniker som lagade temporärt men fick även möjligheten att byta rum. Vilket vi gjorde och allt funkade perfekt därefter. Frukosten hade stort utbud och personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam både i receptionen och restaurangen.
En notering vi gjorde var att vi inte kunde få el-laddningen till bilen att fungera. Det styrde av någon app som man behövde ha en dansk adress för att kunna nyttja. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per visitare i parchi tematici di Billund ma anche la vicina Vejle. La struttura è immersa nella natura, con parcheggio gratuito e spazio all' aperto per i bambini. Buona la pulizia, il comfort della camera e buona anche la colazione. Valgte dette hotelet under vårt besøk til Legoland med barna. Hotellet ligger ca 30 min unna Legoland i Billund.
Hotelet er noe avsides, dvs du må kjøre hvis du skal ut for å spise eller handle. For å trekke seg, slappe av og puste ut i rolige omgivelser med familien er dette topp. Har opplegg for lading av elbil 😊, god frokost og hyggelig personalet. Fint uteområde for barn å leke.
Da vi var her sommeren 2024 var det sommerbufet til en hyggelig pris selv med dansk krone på sitt sterkeste og norsk krone på sitt svakeste.

We stayed at Vingsted just for a night so that we could visit lego house the next day. The reception wasn't very friendly - when asked for some basic help, they just refused to be friendly. The internet was terrible and we ended up using our mobile data. Our room was towards the far end of the hotel which made it annoying. The breakfast was decent and the rooms were clean - so no complains there.

Bra utbud, varmt rum med bara ett öppningsbart fönster. Fanns det ens ventilation? Hårda sängar. Fanns mkt att göra för barnen som utomhusschack, studsmatta. Fina promenadstråk. Wi-Fi var jättedåligt och vi hade knappt täckning på våra telefoner. Bra frukost, dock ingen nutella.

WiFi fungerar ej. Var tvungen att sitta i korridoren en bra bit bort för att kunna få någon uppkoppling. På rummet fungerade det inte alls.

Diverse djur hittades på rummet från spindlar till malar. I övrigt bra städat. Lite gammal standard på rummet men överkomligt. Hade behövts persienner eller mörkläggningsgardin/tjockare gardiner för att kunna blockera ljuset under nattetid för bättre sömn.

There was a slight smell in the bathroom, even after cleaning. The bathroom should be checked, it seems that water from the shower is seeping into the wall under the door. This can lead to mold.

Vi kom med fly og måtte ta buss og det var langt å gå til og fra bussen.
Renholdet var dårlig, sånn at jeg fikk nesten lyst til å vaske ned hele rommet vi hadde og hårføneren på rommet var en kjempe brannfelle.

Hoewel het personeel vriendelijk was en de kamer best ruim was. Was niet alles hygienisch. Op de bank zaten vlekken en ook op het matras onder de bank zaten grote vochtvlekken. Op het matras van de bedden kon ik dit niet duidelijk zien, maar de matrassen mochten dus wel vervangen worden. De layout van het hotel was ook niet heel erg duidelijk. Er waren 3 of 4 restaurants waarbij bij 1 restaurant een buffet was. Deze was even zoeken.

We stayed here during our visit to Legoland. Location wise there isnt really anything else nearby, but it was good for that purpose. There are also some fun games in the court yard.
The building and the estate itself is stunning, but sadly it hasnt been well looked after in terms of cleaness and maintenance - this also applies to the room. The thing that was fantastic, was the staff! We felt looked after and they went that extra mile for us.

Helt ok hotell, trevlig personal och bra frukost, något slitet, på vårt rum rann vattnet åt fel håll i duschen, blött över hela golvet, och då syntes det att städningen i hörn och kanter inte varit så bra. Inte så fräscht. För mjuka sängar för vår smak och en tv som någon skruvat fast i väggen alldeles för nära ena sängen, dåligt planerat. Ventilationen på rummen skulle också kunna förbättras, vi hade öppet fönster istället men väcktes då av trafik. Positivt att plocka fram lite saker till barn och ungdomar på kvällen, men den stora atmosfären på hotellet gjorde att det inte blev så mysig stämning, en pool på detta hotell med mysig omgivning för gäster hade lyft massor för en familj på resa. Tack för frukostpaket som vi kunde köpa på morgonen, det passade att ha med till Legoland.

Et lille kritikpunkt er sengen, som jeg fik. Det er som om, madrassen er for lav til sengerammen, så der er en 2-4 cm høj kant rundt om sengen. Dynes kunne godt være tyndere her i varmen.

Vi overnattede på hotellet med en familie på 4. Til dette fik vi to enkeltpersoners senge og en sovesofa, som ikke var bred nok til min datter på 4 og mig selv. Den sofa skal bare opdateres, men hele værelset stod efter min mening til en renovering. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Noget for alle. Gode udendørsaktiviteter.

Passed this hotel everytime we visited Legoland and got a great deal for a nights stay. Double bed was a bed-settee so not the best but what a nice hotel. Shame that there were only 3 families in and we did not see them until breakfast. Visit it before the prices go up.

Rigtig fine omgivelser og masser af muligheder for spas og løjer sammen med børnene. Vi havde hund med, og det gik også rigtig fint.
Eneste negative kommentar er, at centret ikke ligger i gåafstand fra noget som helst interessant, og derfor skal man helst kunne aktivere sig selv på stedet eller alternativt ta' bilen til enten Vejle eller Kolding.
Personalet er rigtig flinke og hjælpsomme og vi havde nogle superhyggelige dage på stedet - vi kommer meget gerne igen en anden go' gang..! :-)

Helt generelt manglede der aircondition og køleskab på værelset. Fik et værelse i direkte sol hvorfor der hurtigt blev meget varmt på værelset. Var familie på 4 der boede på et enkelt værelse med opredning på vanvittig dårlig "Sovesofa". Omgivelserne OK og mindre udvalgt af morgenmad vil ikke anbefale stedet.

Det var alletiders sted. Meget fin service. Vi havde først booket en nat, men ville så gerne være der en nat til. Så vi bookede igen via Hotel.com, vel vidende at vi måske fik et andet værelse på anden dagen.
