Unfortunately, despite friendly staff, there were no vegetarian food options for myself and the kids. We asked for pasta with vegetables, but the chef gave us literally boiled plain pasta with tinned vegetables, no sauce. Breakfast was good.

The reception and dining area are excellent. The buffet breakfast was superb. They have something for everyone. They worked hard to keep it well stocked. The dinner menu looked good too.
It was the room that was the issue. Small, not very clean (e.g. stains on cushions, dust around the skirting), uncomfortable beds, poor ventilation - so very hot at night, no safe and door faced onto the outdoors with a simple lock, very basic shower room. The sofa bed for my son wasn’t made when we arrived at 7pm at night. They said hotel.com (Expedia) don’t tell them what we book (please remedy). I had to ask for the extra bedding and made it myself.
Plus had to pay a premium on my room as we are outside the EU. I paid on a debit card but it was treated like a credit card. So be prepared for that one.
It is very convenient for Legoland and Lalandia.

No air conditioning and it was 20-27 degrees outside and too hot inside. Only one big chair which was limiting when we where a family of four. Lacking shelf/furniture in the bathroom for toiletbags. It feels like the room we got for four people would be more suitable for two people. Breakfast was very good. Walking distance to Legoland is about 15 minutes.

It was fine but I thought a little pricey for what you got. The bed was comfortable. Needs a but of modernisation. Breakfast had an ok selection but you had to get your own cutlery and napkins from the breakfast area which is a bit of a juggle with hungry kids. Few things had run out like spray for waffle maker and maple syrup. Few hairs in bathroom and dust under the sofa bed.

Staff was very friendly! Lounge area was nice and cozy. Daily breakfast was breakfast at the very least. Our rooms heating was not working. Brought it to the staffs attention and they tried to fix it. It still wasn’t fully working but was tolerable. The pillows and mattress were not ideal and left us with sleepless nights. The hallways leading to the rooms have a peculiar smell to them and the bathroom held the stench of mildew. Again, i would like to put emphasis on how kind the staff was and were the best part of our stay. But the room was below satisfactory and left disappointed with an aching back and shoulders.

We arrived quite late at night and I was grateful for the really quick and easy check in. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was a good size for 3 people and had every thing that we needed. The breakfast was great there was plenty of choice and the food was good quality. There was a game room and trampolines outside which is great if travelling with children. Great location if visiting Legoland

We wanted to visit Billund for the Lego House and Legoland. Presumably that's why hotels charge so much. Hotel is more like a motel with basic facilities and room was ridiculously hot but it was convenient to Legoland and the House so we enjoyed our stay.

I don’t know Expedia/Google rate this hotel 4 stars. It’s great quality for 2.5-3 stars but there’s no AC or even fans, rooms are almost all 1st floor so you can’t open windows comfortably at night (they have no screens). With 4 people in a room, our room is about 26c(80f) as we toss all night sleeping on top of covers with sheets coming off the beds. There is no safe, or drawers to put clothes. The staff was great, as was location and breakfast. I just wish I knew it was more like a motel than hotel.

Apparently there are a few nicer suites that I can’t speak to, but the standard room was not as expected.

We had s family visit with three generations and we had three rooms.
Great clean hotel, nice quiet location but withing walking distance from Legoland, bus stops and Billund centre. Breakfast was great, kids loved making their own pancakes and black currant juice from the tap was a novelty. Children's playground could have been bigger and we would have loved an outdoor area with seats away from the restaurant. Also a mini fridge would have been handy in the summer heat:) Very happy to recommend this hotel, with or without children

Disappointed in the quality of hotel for the price. Room was dated. the beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. Rooms lacked air flow, right on parking lot. Very dated in the room decor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone- so glad we only had to endure he discomfort for 1 night. Very poor value.

Hotel was fine, layout of our room was awkward. It was hard to watch the tv mounted in the corner with the sofa bed underneath. The room was also very warm and stuffy with poor air circulation. We were all very warm while sleeping. Fan didn’t help much and the one window didn’t provide much relief. On the positive side the staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing!!!

The photographer is amazing. The rooms are not. The main entry and restaurant are lovely, the rooms are tired and cramped.
The prices tumbled on the day of arrival when I did a Google search.

First time in Denmark, and Billund is a small city so quiet everywhere, good location for Legoland and other tourist places , so good for family travel !
But the room is clean , breakfast is great and you can have a drink at bar if travel alone , but the only concern is only use very traditional way , key to open the room door, only a bit concern for safet, overall I like it !

Close to LEGO sights + fabulous breakfast!

We loved this property! We booked it because we were in town to see the LEGO sights, and we were delighted with our stay! It was close to a local bus stop (which we used to get to and from Vejle), it was walkable to both Legoland and Lego House, and the set up of smaller buildings with only a few rooms in each made for a very quiet stay. The rooms were somewhat small, but they had everything we needed. And our very favorite part was the breakfast! It was literally amazing. There were endless choices of delicious food every morning, plus juice and coffee machines. Book this hotel just for the breakfast! It's that good. :)

All in all a safe place

I was so excited when I saw the big walk-in shower with a rain head, body sprays and a detachable head, but......The shower was super low pressure, it took more than 5 minutes to rinse the shampoo out and you could only use 1 feature at a time. Also it took very long to heat up
The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but it was ok
Room was clean and spacious though. Its felt safe and the overall hotel is pleasant and quiet.
Breakfast was decent yet very busy. Lots of variety to choose to eat

it is a Motel. Early August it was clearly understaffed (30 min to check in / 1 hour to get dinner..). Room sizes are ok but ours smelled of..... humidity / dirty socks... i didn't like it but i am not not sure whether there are any better alternatives in Billund...

It wasn't a bad place to stay, staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Had issues at check in as I kept being assigned a twin room rather than double. Eventually got a double at 4th attempt! This was the off-season so I assume prices were lower, I would not have wanted to pay any more than I did for what it was. In the summer it's a good location for Legoland.

The location relative to Legoland was perfect - walking distance. It is also walking distance to downtown (Centrum) Billund. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful!! We ate a really delicious dinner and breakfast there. The front desk happily held our luggage for us after we checked out. The room was well cared for and clean and modern.

Very close to Lego House which is why we chose it. It feels like an American ‘motel’ off the main road. Very basic on the inside. The bed was not super comfortable but does the job if you are looking for a night to crash.

Fantastisk ophold fra start til slut! Servicen var helt i top – personalet var utrolig venlige, hjælpsomme og professionelle.
