The room was clean and walls looked fairly recently painted. But, the building is old and looks old. Would need work to get it upgraded. Was surprised to see the name \"Best Western\" associated with this property. Not a bad place to stay, but I probably would not stay there again.

There were very few restaurant options nearby. Many were already closed, and it was only 7 pm.
The deadbolt on our door didn’t work. Furniture looked shabby and was not comfortable. Things seemed to be clean, though there was an obvious stain on the bedsheet.

Where to begin, the bed frame was so wobbly I thought it was going to collapse. Had to have a maintenance man fix it. The interior door latch was torn off. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and wall. The patch work on the bathroom wall was painted with a non matching color. The air/heater was so loud you couldn’t use it. We got locked out of the room while at dinner/had to have another maintenance worker come and unlock the interior dead bolt. Needless to say we checked out.

The lobby and the rooms spell very musty. In my room the floor was very uneven and I was on the first floor. Either poor job leveling concrete or wrong padding.
For the proce I would have thought a better mattress could be purchased. I felt like I was lying on a 3 inch piece of foam over metal bars.

It worked well being on the ground floor with 2 dogs. There is a grassy area for them to use also. Room wasn't the greatest but I'd stay again when traveling with my dogs.

The good: clean sheets, clean towels, biscuits and gravy (at breakfast) were good.
The bad: black mold on bathroom ceiling (appears they have tried plastering and painting to cover it up but it comes through), desk drawer broken off and left on floor under desk, mirror has many black stains smudged on it, tv placed oddly on dresser right in front of mirror limiting mirror use (short tv cords??), broken curtain rod, tub/shower knob not screwed into wall-just hanging loosely on wall, towel hook broken off door with holes on door, smoke alarm filthy with bug poo all over it, toilet seat peeling apart-feels strange to use the toilet. Overall filthy hotel, not maintained or kept up, appears no maintenance or repairs being done. Staff was polite but there was a party/loud gathering in the parking lot of the hotel,near our room one night until 11pm that hotel staff did nothing about. Won't stay here again. There are better choices for Cameron.

The motel was in need of an update. The wear on the property was evident. The room was clean enough for its condition. The bed was not comfortable to us. And if I had known that the motel was right next to a truck stop, with trucks sitting while running all night, I would never have made our reservations there.

This Motel is really, really old and not properly Maintained. I read in one of the reviews before booking a room and it mentioned \"BLACK MOLD\" in the bathroom, I just \"blew\" it off. He was right...We had room 156 and I took photos of the \"black Mold\".. it's \"BAD\".! My other complaint is that we were next to a room where 2 adult women and 2 children, ages 2 to 4 maybe were staying. Around 10:30 pm they were making lots of noise , my wife nicely went over and asked to please hold the noise down. Around 11:30 pm, I woke up to screaming and banging around, again my wife comely went over and asked them to be quite. Around 12:45 am it has again gotten loud, doors to the room open and slamming shut, kids screaming and the woman outside cleaning the vehicle while yelling back into the room, in a foreign language. Again my wife went over and asked them to please not be so noisy...one of the women started yelling at my wife about leaving them alone. So my wife went to the office and got the Manager, who came down and asked them to be quite...they never did. NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. ALSO, It is right next to a large truck stop with Diesel trucks coming and going all night and people walking through the parking lot drinking and smoking. I realize that there isn't anything that can be done about the location, but it's still not desirable. It is Advertised as a SureStay/Best Western, Best Western should be ashamed to put their name on this place .

Different room Different rating. The few things that weren't perfect on my first stay weren't \" in your face\" issues. One of the sinks in the room drained very slowly and the showerer curtain was dirty on the inside(not noticeable from outside. This second visit- not so good The bathroom was moldy from chest high to include the ceiling.

I booked this hotel based on reviews and while I did expect some updating that needed to be done, I was quite surprised at the condition of our room. The smell was intense and the caulking around the bath unit was either missing or it had turned black. I can say while the bathroom appeared to be clean, I felt kind of gross in the shower. Also, the toilet seat was peeling, which was not pleasant on the buns.

Staff was nice and helpful but that doesnt make this a 8.4 rating hotel. Maybe it was just our room? Idk

The pictures of the room were not even close as to condition of property. There were so many flies in the room. Live moths under sheets in beds. Sheets looked stained. Water bug in toilet after flushing. Front door never locked until you scanned card again. Room smelled terrible. There wasn't one positive aspect to this hotel. We were there for about 15 minutes, turned in our key cards and went to the Red Rood Inn a mile away. I wish we could get our money back.

The free breakfast was awful, my daughter asked for milk and they said breakfast was almost over, there was still 15 min left. Our rooms smelt like mildew, the coffee pot didn’t work. I pre-registered and it took over 20 min for him to get it together and get us our key. The TV didn’t work when we first got there, tried calling front desk no one answered so I had to walk around for him to say yeah we are having problems with the dish, he could of explained that at check in. The pool was gross ! It hadn’t been swept or backwashed and was full of leaves, we had to skim it before we could get in and then it was so dirty and smelt weird we didn’t stay in very long. Not a place we will return to!

We wanted to do a short trip and get out of our home state so we drove about 450 miles and found this hotel that would accommodate us with 3 dogs. We arrive and check in which went very smoothly the staff was very kind and we went to our room. We booked a king size bed and the room we were put in was a full sized bed at best which was disappointing but the bigger issue we had was our door didn’t have a seal on the bottom left 1/4-1/3 of it so bugs could just come right in. The ac unit was pretty outdated, on full blast and as cold as it could go, but the direction of the air flow can’t be tilted so it mostly went into the window so it was pretty hot. Our husky loves hunting for bugs and the entire time he was in the room he was hunting on the carpet or licking the carpet. The carpet desperately needed shampooed. It felt oily on my feet. The bedding had yellow stains all throughout the sheets and the comforter looked like it needed washed. There was a lot of broken glass on the parking lot space that was there for our room as well as where you drive around the side of the building to get to the back where we were located. Peaked quickly at the pool which looked clean. The dog waste can had a bag of garbage sitting next to it but I’m not sure who maintains that. All in all we checked out early and won’t be returning. The photos made it look so much nicer than it turned out and maybe we had a bad room but very disappointed and grateful that the staff were so kind through it all.

Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Good breakfast. Area around hotel was a travel plaza, so gas and convenience store was close. Only drawback was that front desk staff are often busy with other tasks and their time is stretched thin. No staff at desk when checking out.

I had high hopes for the property, but upon closer inspection there were many things that were falling apart in the hotel. The mini fridge had mold, so I did not store my leftovers in there and threw them away. The base board in the bathroom was falling off and the bathtub was stained.

It was a convenient location for our one night stay while on our way home. Right next to a very large convenience store and gas station, which is good. Some remodeling, but a lot of old well used things.
The room we stayed in, had a humidity issue because all the bedding was actually slightly damp.

It was in a strange location - behind a gas station with concrete blocks you had to avoid to get to main office. There were people in parking lot playing cards, drinking, kids runnning in street and would not move out of way. Looked as if it was housing for immigrants. We decided to not even check in. Very disappointed.

The property was clean and the room was comfortable. There were signs of deterioration, i.e. peeling paint, discolored areas in bathroom, etc., a freshening up would help inside the room. TV turned on but without sound. Air conditioner compressor was going out and staff provided a small fan when fixing the sound on the tv. It was sufficient. A small thing, there were two conditioners and no shampoo in the bathroom. We didn't need it so it really didn't matter.
Really liked the door leading to parking right outside. No long hallways or elevators was great for us seniors. Very good location. Decent value for money spent.

When I checked in there were two ladies ahead of me. The clerk was taking care of them and then said to them “when I get rid of her I’ll take care of it” referring to me. The ladies gasp and looked at me. I didn’t say a word but wanted to!! Also there was no volume on my TV and had to walk down to the office because no one answered the phone. He told me what to do instead of doing it for me.

A great stopover at a great price! Walmart, gas, restaurants close. There is access to a trail nearby. Nice park in town (near the high school) for a picnic dinner or play time for the kids. If nearby again would stay again. Mediocre typical free breakfast.

The air conditioner barely worked, but I was reasonably comfortable. At least I could sleep. The toilet seat was in horrible shape - it was pealing. The round stopper on the bathtub was hanging out. Looks like they caulked it at one time, but it came loose and was hanging down.

I'd give this place a solid \"OK.\" Although sufficiently clean for our brief overnight stay, the condition of the room (furniture damaged, bathroom tile with large gaps where the grout should have been, toilet seat degrading) needed some definite attention. It was nice to have two sinks in the room (one in the bathroom, one in the main room.) Front desk help was friendly. Breakfast was good enough to get a family with teenagers on to our next stop. Would we choose this again on a next trip? Eh, maybe.
