場所は非常に便利で街中の主要場所ならだいたい徒歩圏内だと思います。
朝食は種類はそれなりで、味はそこそこ美味しいです。毎日ほぼ内容固定です。
部屋は広く使いやすいですが、シンクの排水が壊滅的に悪いです。多分構造的な問題です。
シーサイドの飲食店が夜爆音鳴らすので、ホテルにも音は聞こえます。窓はどこもシールされており防音は頑張ってますが、神経質な人は気になるかも。
スタッフは基本みんな親切です。

Just fine for a one night layover in KK. Check in was easy, room was clean and staff were nice. The restaurant wasn’t open the night we arrived, so that was a bit of an inconvenience but there are c-stores right next door if you need a snack etc.

The location of the hotel is great, waterfront, close to Gaya Street Night Market and the Filipino Market, with a local mall across the street. No shortage of food options. If you’re going on excursions out of town, there’s easy pick up from this hotel. The buffet breakfast at the in-house restaurant is decent. My only issues, which have nothing to do with the hotel itself are: the men on every corner offering flyers for massages. It’s very annoying as it’s constant and second, the smell of rotted fish and stale gutter water that sweeps over the waterfront area. The smell comes with the territory of having fish markets close by but if someone is sensitive to smells it could be an issue so beware. The hotel is a nice refuge from all that, the staff is efficient, helpful and friendly.

The Klagan hotel is situated in a very prime location. It is closed to Filipino market, central market, restaurants and bar, Suria Sabah (shopping mall), and Jesselton Point/Jetty.

The check in and check out was smooth and pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides compliment parking to hotel guests and you just need to validate the parking ticket with the reception before exit. The room key was used toaccess to the car park.

The breakfast was good for 3 star hotel and what I enjoyed the most is the view from the breakfast restaurant.

We were placed on the 7th floor and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet during the night even our window was facing the main street.
The amenities was good and the bathroom was spacious and newly renovated.

Highly recommend the Klagan Hotel to those travel to Kota Kinabalu.

Conveniently located, within walking distance to most places in town. Staffs are prompt to request. We had problems with the drainage system in the bathroom and it was fixed immediately. There is a little of wear and tear in the room but overall it was a good stay.

Excellent location. Right beside Centre Point Shopping Mall and within 5 mins of the sea front, the night market, the street market and the front sea entertainment bar stretch.
Check in and out was slick. All the staff were really helpful. The room was great & spacious with a brilliant bathroom and had everything we needed and more.
Breakfast was better than other Asian hotels but it is geared to the Asian market ( as London hotels are geared to the British market )
The receptionist even phoned and arranged a GRAB cab on her mobile to get us to the airport.

Lower your expectation but a good location hotel

Depends on luck and which room assigned. Room 735 was bad but 775 was good. Room 735 has bad shower fitting and flimy sliding toilet door. 775 was ok but too close to lift which means alot of disturbance due to traffic. Bad soundproof, outside people can hear you inside the room and you can hear them outside. No street view window. Breakfast food choices are very limited, overpriced if you need to pay RM40. Front desk service was good.

1. Centrally located and within walking distance to shopping mall, night market, handicrafts market, seafood eateries and waterfront scenes.
2. Free WIFI.

Dislike:
1. Not many amenities. No spa, no swimming pool.
2. Staff unfriendly. Doesn't provide alternative solutions to problems.
3. Kids sharing room have to pay for breakfast.
4. Breakfast buffet menu quite limited. Not many varieties. Better to go nearby Mamak restaurant.
5. Slow in preparing rooms upon checkin. Waited more than an hour.
6. Guest rooms at level 7 have several conference rooms near them. Very noisy when seminars are in progress. Participants will have their teabreak at lobby outside guest rooms. Guests have to cut through the teabreak area to get to the guest lifts. Very unprofessional arrangement.

Location, location, location!
Lots of places to eat just below or around the hotel. A big shopping center is right a cross the street from the hotel.
The seafood products market is right across the street... no!! You don’t smell the fish products!!
Numerous bars and pubs across the streets. Starbucks just below the hotel.
I had an excellent sea view room and watch the gorgeous sunset every evening. Request for the sea view rooms or you may be disappointed with the interior room!! No gym or swimming pool that I know of.

The Deluxe Room offers a pleasant surprise - the bathroom was very spacious not like any other hotels. The room was clean and neat. Everything was new and I love the red chair which was near the glass window. It feels cosy and relax to sit on it. It helps that the room facing the sea.
But I was quite disappointed because my request for connecting rooms was not met even though I did the booking 2 weeks in advance. One of the rooms, 345, has a door inside it which means that it is connected to another room but instead I was given another room, 837, which was few doors away.

i booked the room earlier on march for stay on end of Sept. I booked for double bed, however in my printed booking, it stated for queen bed. but when i checked in, they gave me 2 single bed and my room view is a wall next building. the reason they given to me is the type of bed is subject to availability. and they said they dont have queen bed. only a single and king size bed. me, what???? i booked on march, not august, not sept. please do not treat us as expedia user as double standard. and please make sure the info or your type of bed or room is indicated clearly and right. the reason i book early is to get a good room, not like this. they offered me to upgrade to king size bed, but have to argue first???

The area on the way out to parking area from the elevators is dirty. May be the management can do something about it. Clean it everyday and may be put flowers or bins so that the tenants will be able to throw their rubbish rather than putting them on the floor. Even the floor is dirty and hope the cleaners mop it everyday.

Pretty decent for my standards but rooms do not have the mini fridge. I stayed for 7 nights. Having a mini fridge will be useful for my long stay.

Housekeeping tend to miss topping up certain things like towels after making up the room but their respond is fast when called.

Great location in terms of central city and also waterfront. Great service. We really liked the design of the hotel rooms however the actual quality of the finishings and cleanliness (i.e. some minor stains on the sofa and bed sheets) were a bit of a let down. Would still consider staying again regardless.

Toilet in my was broken and even staff fixed it 3 times it still didn’t flash.
Internet didn’t work at all.
However, staff were very helpful and tried hard to respond to my requests but the building was overused so they could not fix any thing.
There was many Chinese tourists who seemed didn’t take care things around them.

Beware the courtyard rooms.

The \"courtyard\" rooms are basically interior rooms with a window on to a corridor (so you will keep the curtains drawn anyway for privacy). They are quite well appointed but very cramped - even for one person I felt quite claustrophobic, and this wasn't helped by the \"window\" onto the corridor. Courtyard is a serious misnomer, but I probably should have read the description with greater rigor. The beds are comfy, and the location is very convenient (right opposite Centrepoint mall), so Ok if you are out all day and just need to crash at night.

The hotel and the room is well kept and clean. The breakfast has good variety and overall quite tasty. The hotel however has too many specifications such as they only provide wifi access for one device per person, some absurd charge on the room keys if not returned etc. I think besides that, overall I had a pleasant stay.

The room was clean. All things were provided including iron and iron board. The hotel provided variety of food for breakfast. There was a male receptionist who is not that friendly. Also, sometimes at night, I can smell cigarette smoke in my room (non smoking room). I am alergic to cigarette smoke and I had breathing difficulty because of that. Other than those two, the hotel was great. Gonna rent the same hotel in the future.

Room: View is like some corridor. Feels unsafe people can walk through the barricade and peek through my window.
Smoking floor. Had requested for a non-smoking room upon booking the room via Agoda.com and yet upon check in,
the front office staff (Syanti) advised that there is no non-smoking room left.
She did not offer or upgrade me to the next non-smoking room since it was their fault.
I would have loved that if they could not provide a non-smoking room they could just say that in the first place upon booking,
then I can book other hotels which has one.
Unhygienic to hang the prayer mat in the same place as the clothes in the wardrobe without separation. Dust will pass on to the clothes.

Breakfast: Provided in most bookings and it was okay.

Location: Very good. Near to the night pubs, Hard Rock cafe & the filipino market.

We having troubles connecting to Wi-Fi (been using own data plan instead for the two days stays) we dial 0 but it didnt manage to connect to lobby reception. Hence we dial to their hotel number requesting for password. But the new password didnt work as well. When we check out, we told them the problem rhe staff still insist to charge us for the call and ask if we still need password for wifi?!

I like everything about this hotel. Large, clean and comfortable room. Location is very strategic - near to centerpoint, filipina market / pasar malam sinsuran (walking distance especially those without small children), shopping complex also few minutes, jetty also not so far. Grab also easily access around here. Breakfast also variety - two different set of breakfast (we stay there for 2 days) and the view from the cafe also great
