The reception guy was very nosey and to much in our business he should ask if we’re staying or going and ask anything that doesn’t pertain to the checking in or out of the hostel . The storage locker shouldn’t be used for bikes and scooters they take up to much space and make it really hard for the gust to get in and out of they’re luggage it should be for luggage only . There should be a separate space for ebike and scooters and bikes period . Not piled up all over people luggage and making things hard for other guest . Management please make these changes for the good of all the guest there at the hostel

I actually enjoyed myself very much. I didn’t think I would. I stayed there one night just to try it out and ended up loving it. Ended up, reserving five more nights, very clean, comfortable lodging. The location is superb. I took a long walk on the beach every day and had a nice hot coffee from aroma. It was perfect.

Stayed here for one night, I had the 'Tall' room which had more space to move around. The wi-fi connection was great, the place was quiet and the reception staff very helpful and pleasant. The location was fantastic, very close to the waterfront.
The only negative aspect was condition of the toilet, every time I used it there was urine all over it and all over the floor.. the person cleaning the rooms (unlike the reception staff) was not the friendliest person and never said a 'hello'... I stayed away from him..

I found the hotel acceptable. It is a very good location on the beach, basically the best location in Tel Aviv where everybody wants to be. It is very clean, they clean all the time. Very hi-tech. You get a capsule, not a room. It is spacious enough to sleep. There are chairs, tables and a couch next to the pod area. Showers are clean. They are definitely up to date with cleanliness and security. It feels very safe. There is no free coffee but they have hot and cold water available.

The property itself was nice, but the hotel charged more than double the hotel cost itself because I showed up at night. This is not warned on expedia and I couldn’t get a refund since it was non refundable at that time. So I had to pay an exorbitant amount. They were really stingy about the extra cost and wouldn’t budge. Terrible reception. They need to work on their hospitality skills and ethics

Good for the price. I don’t know her name but the first day I was there I needed a taxi to the bus station. She tried to help me get an app, but for some reason I couldn’t so she used her own app and booked the ride for me. I’ll always be thankful to her because if it weren’t for her I would’ve missed a tour to Jordan.

As a pod hotel, this place was amazing. The shared washrooms, toilets and other facilities were absolutely spotless. The workspaces and outdoor patio are superb -- facing the beach, with magnificent views of Yaffo. The pod (I had a stand up) was functional and the bed extremely comfortable. The location, across from Charles Clore Beach was unbeatable. The staff were lovely.

The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s ambiance is both chic and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind. DO NOT trust them. Unsafe. Ruined my week in Israel Palestine.

Here’s a summary of my review: lots of good things, a suggestion for travellers, and some constructive feedback for management.
Overall, our experience at OPod was good. Facilities were neat and clean and staff were quite helpful. Premises were larger than expected, with a sizeable sea-facing common area with high chairs and counter for meals or workstation. Outdoor balcony area as well. Very centrally located - close to beaches, restaurants and Old Jaffa City. Good value for your money in a pricey part of town.
Recommendation: pods are comfortable but tight, and climbing in and out can be tricky. Not for those with mobility issues, or if your older and find maneuvering into small spaces awkward. Definitely suited to younger and more agile travellers.
Feedback. We stayed three nights and had a family in our section who were loud, prepared meals in their pod, and were up and down until well after midnight. We mentioned it to staff who spoke to the family but to no avail. They continued and no one addressed the disturbance further. It affected our sleep and enjoyment of the pod. Staff needed to be more firm and I suggest a ‘quiet time’ in pods from 11m-6am.

Very nice common areas, basic pod, but poorly executed hotel layout / design. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned more often with the amount of use they get. The layout of the shower cubclicles and toilets was quite tight, and no practical shelves or hooks for clothes and toiletries. Unfortunately the hand air dryer is located right next to the pods, meaning the pods adjacent to or above (due to a metal grate walkway for upper level pods) can hear the very loud air dryer that sounds like a vacuum every time it goes off, at all times of day and night. The walls of the pod were very thin so external noise could be heard easily. The pod was basic, had some under bed draws, but needed more than zero sheliving. The deluxe pod had a nice semi-private balcony and view of the beach.

I read a lot of reviews for the property since finding something basic walking distance to old city and decent price seemed like impossible task. Honestly the place is pretty cool for what it is. You get a sleep space. I figured out I might be a little claustrophobic in the small pods and I got the tall one it was perfect! Make sure you have earplugs for sleeping if you are a light sleeper.

FALSE ADVERTISING - the original ad on Expedia showed a picture of a full room. I was given the desc of full room. When I got there, I was given a bed inside a cage (they use a fancy word of pod for it) and insisted that I knew what I was getting and there would be no cancellation. I want every penny of my money back!

I think it should be clean even if there are glass doors in the (room or capsule) the bathrooms are clean expect they only scrubbed the toilet inside but they didn't clean them from the outside and I never saw they vacuum the carpet in the hallway where the capsules ..

First time to use O pod room. Not sure at first but it provided the closest location to our tour bus pick up. I am impressed with how clean and organized the lay out. Never had to wait to use the bathroom because of enough stalls and sinks available, well stocked and maintained.
