The location of the hotel was great and the receptionist was helpful and kind. However, the room was a bit noisy (caused by the light rail). Furthermore, the bathroom and one of the towels were not clean. There was also no tv in the room, if that is important to you.

We come here every year

We love this place very much and come here every year. The rooms are decorated very pleasantly. The many windows give amazing light during the day. The mattress is superb. The kitchen is comfy. The only thing I was glad I brought with us was the small oven to heat the food. Otherwise there is an electric stove, which we successfully used too. The place has big refrigerator. And it is in the center of Tel Aviv. Just love it!

Noisy at night, even with the special windows as there’s an outdoor bar that doesn’t close until maybe 3am… but when you get past that, uniquely excellent location, very friendly staff, big rooms, and fantastic feel to the place.

I enjoyed but...

I loved the internal decoration, it was unique abd fun.
We were missing a light bulb and there was no one to ask since we came after hours.
We also really needed a broom because we brought lots of sea sand with us :-)
Another thing - the room was right above a noisy restaurant. The noise continued until after 1am.
So I enjoyed the room, but there were a few details that borthered me.

Pros:
- Spacious studio which contained a small kitchen. There were also many useful items included, such as: toaster oven, pots, cutlery, iron, etc.
- the apartment is conveniently located in Tel Aviv.
- cool artsy vibes

Cons:
- The shower did not drain properly. This meant that it would nearly flood even during a short five minute shower. I would have to stop periodically, mid-shower in order to squeegee out the shower floor.
- Upon arrival, there was a long black hair on our bedsheet (that did not belong to either myself or my husband). I asked to have the bedsheets cleaned. That evening, we found that although the room had been tidied, which we appreciated, the sheets were still filled with hairs of various shades and sizes. Please change the sheets between guests.

The hotel has many positive aspects, but needs attention in important areas (such as cleanliness).

Enjoyed our stay. Although there was building work outside it didn’t affect anything, in fact interesting to see the large crane moving around. Apartment building quite quirky and would appeal to young artistic people. Lively area and within easy walking distance from Lewinsky Market and Rothschild Boulevard. Spacious studio room, comfy bed and good shower. No microwave. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

A hidden gem!

Rena's house is very well located, a short walk from the historical heart of Tel Aviv, where this city began, and a walk or bus ride to the trains and buses, and historical district of Jaffa Port. Its funky art house presentation is a novel idea. It is easy to find, and clear instructions for late check in were given.

Room has all that a traveler would need: working bath, small kitchen, fridge. Convenient location: close from the bus station and from the beach. Courteous staff, although office is only open 10 am-4 pm.
The front door suppose to be opened with a code, but it did not lock at all. Many shops and restaurants around, but a little corner where the hotel is placed is quite. Taxi don't seem to know how to find this place, but hotel automatically sends clear instructions. Would stay again.

Artsy alternative with soul

Rena’s House is an artsy alternative to the big hotels. The staff was charming and extremely helpful, especially Rene and The lovely Schlomit. The rooms are funky and all have a record player and art. It’s located in an old neighborhood but very close to more upscale areas such as Rothschild Blvd. you can also walk to the beach or the Market. We will stay there if we return to Tel

This is certainly a 'different' hotel. It does have character and the room we had was the largest we had in Israel period. We had standard room for 2 people.

The BIG disappointment was NO TV! That killed it for us. Not to mention the almost impossibility of parking anywhere near the hotel. If you're a tourist, DON'T RENT A CAR while in Tel Aviv. There is NO WHERE to PARK unless you find a parking lot.

Fantastic affordable boutique hotel with surprising amenities that really make your stay. Of note there is no TV but this is really not an issue since there is great WiFi, and the record player in the room with a great stack of diverse records available to guests was a great touch. I had an early morning flight on Saturday morning, and the front desk helped me book a taxi service. Definitely worth the price!

Rena's is a hotel crafted with love and a love for the arts... the staff is attentive and helpful, the room was the best of our Israel stay- spacious and homey, very clean. We loved being close enough to walk to the market and old town, and had an excellent meal in the eatery downstairs from the hotel. Our only issue was the construction noise that was unfortunately non-stop and directly outside of our window. Bring earplugs. A bonus here is seeing heavy equipment at work on the foundation of something big. Rena's is part of a special corner of Tel Aviv.

This is a very novel hotel. Check in was easy and the staff very cordial and helpful. Each room is uniquely different in decor-very original. The room/apartment was immaculate down to the smallest detail. The only negative for us was that the bed was unstable. Each time one of us moved, the whole bed shook-easy fix would be put a solid piece of wood under the mattress and not use legs on the bed- otherwise a great experience.

The property is located at a narrow business street in S Tel-Aviv.
It's a business street. It has no private parking and parking may be always a problem, because of busy business schedule. The Best thing would be if tourists come without a car. Unique, creative stay! Loved it!

This was one of the most unique hotels I've stayed at around the world! Each floor is decorated with artwork and the rooms come with a record player and a big selection of records to choose from. The room was spacious and clean. Check-in was quick and efficient. The hotel's about a 20 minutes walk to Jaffa and the train station and a 40 minute walk to the city center so location was pretty good. There's also a coffee shop and bar right downstairs.My only complaint is that there was no hot water in the shower even after putting the timer on for 30 mins so the water started off tepid and just went cold. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this place to others!

The House is well situated with easy access to local and regional transportation. The building is quite rustic which gives it a bit of a character. One downside is that there is no lift and lugging up a suitcase of several flights of stairs, was problematic.
The room was not so much an apartment as a large bedsit, which nevertheless had all the amenities in a good size room.
Reception staff (if limited hours), were very friendly and helpful.
The building surrounded the courtyard of a restaurant which could be noisy at night often into 23.00/23.30 not ideal if you wanted an early start in the morning! Possibly the sound proofing could have been better?
Taking everything into consideration on the whole it was good value for money

The room was fine and I liked that they had record players in there even if the music selection wasn't the best. Parking on the street can be tough if you have a car.

I stayed at Rena's House for a few nights at the end of a business trip and was very pleased. The room was large and had everything I needed: good Wi-Fi, good AC, all of the fixtures were in working order, the hot water in the shower had good pressure, and I really liked having the kitchenette. While the rooms do not have a dedicated iron and ironing board, you can get one from reception. Laundry is inexpensive but is not same day service: you drop it off in the morning and you will get it back the next day. And there is no TV in the room (I didn’t need it so I am not marking them down for that). The hotel is affiliated with a small restaurant called Saffe (they share a lobby) that is open from about 8am to midnite and the food there is quite good. And just across the street is a dim little bar called Uganda that draws a nice local crowd every night with a DJ. They don’t play too late, the music never bothered me. Speaking of noise... the location of Rena's House is really great because it is in an alley that connects to two major streets. So, it is very quiet but you are only a short walk to a variety of really good restaurants and convenience stores. And you are only a 20 minute walk to the Old Clock Tower in Yafo. Finally, the staff at Rena's House is excellent - very helpful! And the cost is so much less than other properties, it is a really good value. I hope to return to Tel Aviv for business and will plan on staying here for my entire trip.

First of all, one must keep in mind you’re staying in the first expansion neighborhood outside of Jaffa so it’s an older area. The hotel itself is on a quiet street off a main artery from where you can easily reach Rothschild Blvd which a nice walking area.
Didi, our host, was so welcoming and helpful that she made you feel right at home.
Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean.
If you’re the type who wants to be away from the large chain hotels and feel the warmth of the local people, I can definitely recommend a stay here.

The room was spacious and clean with a large bed. The bathroom was good with a nice shower. There were some works going on outside the hotel which was a very interesting insight into underground tunnel engineering (Tel Aviv metro?) and quite exciting and noisy day & night. The double glazed windows can block out noise though & then one can listen to golden oldies on the record player provided. There was a large kitchen area in order to prepare snacks also. Wireless internet was good all the time.

Fantastic boutique hotel

This hotel sits in the heart of Neve Tsedek, a very fun neighborhood in Tel Aviv. Because it sits on a side street, it manages to be very quiet while still being in the heart of the action. There are lots of restaurants, bars & shops within short walking distance.

It is perfectly located: close to rotschild, jafa and the beach(~10min walk) in a hip neighbourhood. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are very nice, clean and fully equipped.only negative point(is also very positive, dependimg on what you whant in tel aviv): there is a nice bar just outside the apartement. This place is more for young travelers looking for lively place. It is noisy until 1am and from 7am with restaurants around + there are lot of road works around. Equipments ate very old and you need to heat the water for 30’ to take hot shower….. Largely over rated and over priced even if staff is nice.

Charmerende varmt ophold.

Et skønt ophold i en utrolig charmerende del af Tel Aviv. Hotellet er simpelt og fyldt med varme og sjove påfund. Vi kunne let gå til strand, markeder med mere. Vi vil gerne bo der igen.

Unkonventionelle Unterkunft in Szene-Viertel

In sehr hipper Umgebung (Kultur, Cafés, Restaurants) ist Renas House ein Hostel mit Charme. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Küchenzeile mit guter Ausstattung. Das Bad war modern, die Matratzen weniger...man sollte also richtig müde sein, um schlafen zu können (auch wegen möglicher Beeinträchtigung durch die Gäste des Cafés im Erdgeschoss).
Zimmerreinigung ist nur alle 4Tage vorgesehen, die Rezeption ist von 10-18 Uhr besetzt. Aber das geht, denn der Service ist auf Nachfrage sehr gut.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wieder buchen!

Trots en liten sliten omgivning var Rena's House en positiv upplevelse. Stora och fräscha rum med kylskåp och kokplatta ifall man önskar att tillaga egen mat (vilket vi inte gjorde dock utan enbart utnyttjade kylskåpet). Rummen var lite konstnärligt och kul inredda. Skivspelaren var av billigare modell så förvänta er inget toppljud. Skivorna som finns att tillgå kan man säga var mer intressanta än bra. För den partysugne ligger det en populär klubb/restaurang på en innergård inte många meter från hotellet så om man störs av musik mitt i natten kan det bli problem med det var inget som direkt störde oss. Mittemot ingången till Rena's ligger puben Uganda's som är ett populärt vattenhål bland Tel Avivs unga. Här kan man ta ett glas långt in på småtimmarna. Det är gångavstånd både till stranden och Old Jaffa samt till Boulevard Rothschild. För att göra en sammanfattning så rekommenderar jag Rena's House för par och partysugna. Barnfamiljer vill nog ha ett lite lugnare ställe att bo på. Kommer defenitivt att boka detta igen vid nästa tillfälle.

Alberghetto con stanze enormi e spartane, ma con un fascino particolare. Ottima la disponibilità di distributori di acqua potabile a tutti i piani. Se si arriva dopo le 18 disponibile il self check-in. Staff giovane e disponibile. A 2 passi dalla shalom tower e da neve zedek.

Toffe creatieve plek. Alles is netjes en schoon. Veel voorzieningen, zoals bv gratis onbeperkt water.
