Its a scam no body was at the hotel i was sitting for an hour and no one came, I called the phone and it directed me to Mr. Brown's other hotels who said the villa was closed and my reservation was on the computer, I had to take a room at another hotel in the chain. Don't come close!!!!

Disappointing for a great location.

Room is OK but no desk, not even a tiny one for laptop. Window did not close/open securely. Shower and bath are clean, but a bit old and unkept. Breakfast was a big disappointment for $24 I expected a full breakfast. Got cakes, sweets, very little choice, no eggs, no cheese, sparse. :-(

Great staff/location, not great rooms.

The staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. However the first room I was given had a leak and the AC was not working. Thankfully the reception desk immediately set me up with another room. This room was okay, however the bathroom was not very clean. I would have also liked a couple more towels than the two provided. Even hand towels. The balcony was nice and the bed/tv was fine. Overall it is absolutely not worth the price. But the staff was very nice

We arrived late at night for a 1-night stop-over on the way to Petra. The young woman at the front desk, with tasteful tattoos and a confident demeanor, was ethereal. The room on the ground floor (maybe the basement) was comfortable, with a quiet window-less bedroom perfect for sleeping and a small sitting room with a high window looking up into a delightful garden. The area was vibrant even late at night, with crowds walking on the near-by boulevard. The amenities in the lobby were excellent (cappuccino and crisp cookies). In the morning, the breakfast near-by was interesting and outstanding, and a 30-minute walk to the beach was invigorating.

The room looks NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!

The room looks NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES! I've booked a Classic Double Room with a King bed, which is advertised as 205-sq-foot (19-sq-meter) room with city views. In reality, I received a tiny room that could maybe pass for a 12-sq-meter room, which looks like it was built as a bomb shelter rather than a guest room. Claustrophobic, with a tiny window that can't be opened, blank white walls and a flimsy clothes rack serving as a wardrobe, the room resembled more of a prison cell than a hotel room. The \"city views\" were, obviously, of the back yard.

It should be noted, however, that the hotel staff was lovely and extremely friendly. Nonetheless, I would strongly discourage anyone from staying in this hotel.

The property is in a nice area with restaurants, bar etc. And not far from.the beach. The hotel greeted us with a gifts (chocolates, handmade soap, peanuts) and each room comes with a wine anda water bottle plus extra amenities whichyou can useor take.
The hotel also offers some snacks, water and coffee atthe lobby.
All the staff members we met were super nice and helpful. Checking in and out was smooth.

A decent hotel inexpensive by Tel Aviv standards

I booked the deluxe room with King bed (room no 5). First impression on entry: the smell of bleach, much more compact size and more modest appearance than expected from photos.
Bathroom had been disinfected, hence the smell. There was a bit of mould on the tile grout in the shower cubicle, but nothing disgusting that would stop you touching anything.
Towels and bathrobes providdd were very thin, but clean. Toiletries included. Shower featured a hand spray and a rainshower head, although on the last day of my stay I couldn’t switch back to rainshower, only the handspray.
Bed was soft, 2 firm pillows per person and a very comfy cushion.
2 bedside lights, 1 with broken swivel so wouldn’t stay put - could either rest on the bed back or fall over.
We had a window and a small balcony with a table and chairs.
Wooden shutters on the outside.
Decent size wardrobe with hangers, cleaning accessories, safe and a fridge inside.
Massive full lenght mirror.
Breakfast table with an espresso maker and some capsules provided. Two tiny cups and water glasses, plastic stirrer and sugar.
A bottle of sparkling water provided daily.
Room was very cold on arrival but warmed with first air of using aircon.
Location is brilliant and very easy to find. A lot to do within walking distance.
Overall, excellent selection of facilities, slight let down by the size of the room ( this could be solved by using more accurate photos online), room requires some repairs and mould removal.

The first impression is that it is a small hotel with no luxuries like the big ones; but they will treat you as family. The staff very attentive and always willing to help. The room assigned was of good size and comfortable. The breakfast, simple but very delicious and traditional. Take into consideration that it is not served at the hotel, but in a cafeteria that is very close, starting at 0700.

Location, the best one. Near to good restaurants on Rothschild Boulevard and to the beach in about 20 min walking.

We initially loved our hotel room and the location until we realized our toilet was leaking and we were possibly stepping on our own urine from the toilet. Otherwise it was a great location & the staff say they will have someone check immediately. It was within a 30secs walk from Rothschild which was nice, many food places around and nice path for night strolls.

We had the room on the 4th floor that had a balcony and wrapped around glass windows with black out curtains which provided light or privacy. It was very clean and chic, within 30sec walk to Rothschild & many local restaurants. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this room.

Front desk staff is very nice and helpful. Housekeeping is ok, but always forget either soap, shampoo or tp. Breakfast buffet is very very poor, but they will cook your eggs to order. Hotel location is pretty convenient. Lots of good restaurants around and very excellent food court two minutes away. I guess for the price this hotel is a good deal. I would probably stay there again if their actual breakfast reflected their breakfast photos online.

Hotel was centrally located in Tel Aviv. Room was very comfortable and clean. They offered happy hour with free wine and appetizers. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. They also offer free breakfast. Unfortunately even though the breakfast was supposed to be from 7:00am it normally was not ready until about 7:30. We were picked up about 7:20 every morning and we hardly had time to eat something.

I have stayed here before, however this time was an unlucky experience. Within the first 3 days my AC & coffee maker broke (which were fixed immediately). My room wasn't cleaned one day, and the second day my door was left wide open for the majority of the day. The staff were very accommodating and tried to do everything within their power to rectify the issue, but unfortunately, there wasnt much they could do. The majority of my issues were because of the cleaning staff...which left me with a terrible impression of the hotel in general. Again, the management and front of house staff were very helpful, friendly and did their best to make up for the cleaning staff's mistakes, it is unfortunate what happened and I'm sure its not a common occurrence, however it did happen to me....

I made the check in a bit early and they didn't have a problem with that since my room was ready so at the reception they don't have a Porter so you will have to handle your bags but 2 kind receptionist helped me with check in and normal procedures of the hotel. It has an elevator and facilities for handicap witch I think is necessary.I stayed in a nice double bedroom with a nice shower. I think they should have more options on TV chanel, the next day the brake fast was yummy and the check out was at 12. Good stay in the hurt of Tel Aviv close to the night life...

We ordered standard room which should be 19 square meter,
the room was much smaller.
The window opened too a wall so there was suffocating feeling in the room.
In the room there was very bad smell and very loud loud noise from the air condition motors from the out side and water noise from the pipes.
And the last we were there for two days and the room was never cleaned.

Convenient location in Tel Aviv

I have stayed at the Townhouse Hotel previously and was pleased with this charming hotel. However, during this most recent stay, I was assigned room 101, which is located in the basement. The room looked out onto the utilities stand and the room had no windows in the bed area. There was no bottled water as advertised and the room somewhat noisy when the elevator was in use as this room is right near the elevators. I would recommend this hotel only if you can avoid the two rooms in the basement (rooms 101 and 102). I was also surprised to hear that the hotel could not make smaller change for a 100 NIS note. The man behind the counter said, \"I am sorry, but the hotel does not have any money at the front desk\". If you are in Israel, you know that most taxi drivers and businesses frown upon receipt of a 100 NIS note.

We went to Townhouse for my birthday. The rooms look much larger on the website than they are in person. We ordered a superior room for almost 200 dollars and the room was quite small. The bed was also squeaky, the room smelled like cheap air freshener. The most annoying part was that they had a wonderful breakfast and happy hour...but there are only two large tables...so instead of privacy and a romantic weekend you need to sit with other people. I know some people like that but I would have liked to know ahead of time in order to make an educated choice. The dining room needs to be enlarged.

Problem to get account

The stay was OK, except one important moment. Receipt was kindly promised to print AFTER check out. Lady at receipt desk had no doubts concerning my payment for the room (the payment was done via internet), however explained she can't give me receipt. After checking out, there was nothing on computer database to print. My institution hardly will cover the hotel cost with no receipt.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel in a great location. Friendly staff. My room was unbelievably small. No closet, no desk, no chair., no dresser. No way to get in or out of bed except from the foot. Tiny bathroom had a tricky door for the shower that reduced the shower space when not in use. The staff was helpful and friendly but I was awakened by a 6:00 wake-up call that I never requested.

This hotel is very pleasant in it`s lack of pretentiousness. It is clean, friendly and very well located downtown. Great value for money but... some rooms are very small. I stayed in room 13 and coped as I was there for only two nights and on my own. If I would have been with my partner, this room would have been unacceptably small. I`ll come back but only if a bigger room is offered.

It was terrible . I am jewish and we are in a jewish country , and the day I was meant to check out was a jewish holiday . All hotels in Israel let you check out later on he sabbath or a holiday but they made me lave at 12 meaning I had to spend 6 hours out in the hot sun , waiting for the holiday to end so I could drive back to my other destination

A perfect stay

This was a delightful and outstanding hotel to stay at for my seven day holiday to Israel. The hotel was conveniently situated just 25 minutes by taxi from Ben Gurion Airport. The hotel is beautifully appointed with a nice reception and breakfast bar and relaxing seating. The staff were very friendly and very helpful in organising day trips and local attractions and you really felt you had that personal touch. The room I had was very clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and large shower area. I found the room ideal for a solo traveller and had great character and boutique style. The hotel was situated just off Rothschild Boulevard with many bars and restaurants. It was a 20 minutes walk to the beach and the Central Bus Station with direct buses to Jerusalem. Breakfast included eggs, salad, fruit and pastries and pasta and wine is available complimentary early evening. I couldn't wish for a more perfect stay in Tel Aviv. The hotel is very fresh and welcoming and a lot of thought has gone into the decoration and ambience. Would thoroughly recommend and I look forward to staying again at the Townhouse.

The room was non-descript in furnishings and design but it was larger than many other boutique hotels. The bathroom was a nice size and had terry cloth bathrobes which was a nice touch. The shower was large which we liked. there was plenty of storage space which is a must for me and we had a balcony to utilize. It had a table and chairs which was sweet. The hotel employees were great: kind, helpful and caring. Breakfast was a big bonus with a great variety of choices including a freshly made omlet to order. I was thrilled it had an elevator as we were on the 5th floor. It was a great experience. This should definitely not be a choice if you are wanting to be near the beach.Otherwise, if décor is not important, it's a great choice.

This hotel is really wonderful. Nice room, however smallish, but it's enough for what you need. The location is just great and you'll just be out and about anyway: 20 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and bars are just around the corner.
Staff is very helpful. The breakfast they put out every morning is not to be skipped, and neither is happy hour with free sangria in the afternoon!
We had lost one of our passports the day after we arrived, and the staff went above and beyond to help us find it, calling cab companies, police etc - in the end we found it in another way, but the hotel made us feel they cared as much as we did in finding it, which was great.

Staff Helps Make for an Excellent Hotel

Among the friendliest, most helpful staff we've ever encountered. Put that on top of a very nice room, wonderful breakfast, and excellent location -- within walking distance of plenty of good restaurants, the Carmel market, the beach and more -- and that made for a most enjoyable four night stay. Good to know we won't have to search for a different hotel next time we return to Tel Aviv.

comfy, friendly boutique hotel

accommodating staff, good breakfast, good central location, good price. No views to speak of as it's a low rise in the inner city, but nothing to complain about. Great restaurants and night life in the immediate area.

Great stay

The hotel was perfect.. The front desk was very helpful, he helped us with our bags, recommended a great place for dinner. The breakfast was perfect and coffee and cake was available all day long. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Hotel, Perfect Location

I had never heard of this hotel before but was recommended to me by a friend so I booked it and couldn't have been happier with it. The room was a good size with a large bathroom, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the location couldn't have been better, in between two of the main streets of Tel Aviv. I cant say a bad word about this hotel.

Great hotel in a great location. It is a very busy area of Tel Aviv so expect some late and early noise.

Strong Recommendation from Toronto guest

I just had a great 2-night stay. The hotel was terrific. The only downside is that the neighbourhood is quite noisy at night.

Great Hotel

Everything was great. Room clean and beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Nice breakfast. Great neighborhood. Only complaint is my room was on the second floor and the noise from the street (and the garbage pickup that came at 6:15) made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. I would request higher floors next time. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very good state in this polished hotel. The location is excellent and we got rid of our car. There are numerous hang out locations nearby.

Great location, alternative breakfast experience

Great location, one step off Rothschild Blvd.
Eating hall is such that all guests sit together, and therefore interact, which was a nice alternative experience.
Breakfast had only limited options though, especially on the weekend, and only 1 person to attend to 8-10 guests on breakfast rush hour.
