We loved this hotel. We booked it at the last minute due to the heat wave and roof top pool. The pool was awesome. Plenty of chairs and the perfect way to spend a hot afternoon. The location of the hotel was also perfect. Close to Carmel market and super walkable. Great stay.

My husband and I stayed at Poli House at the beginning of May, and we absolutely loved our experience! The hotel’s location is fantastic — just opposite Carmel Market, and a short walk from the beach, and so many great restaurants and shops. Also, right on the incredible vibrant Nachalat Binyamin, which also has a twice weekly craft market. It made exploring Tel Aviv incredibly easy and fun.
The building itself is stunning, a beautifully restored Bauhaus with a modern, boutique feel. Our room was cozy and stylish, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. While the room was on the smaller side, it was thoughtfully designed and very clean.
One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the rooftop infinity pool and bar. We spent several afternoons there, enjoying the amazing views of the city while swimming.
We were especially impressed by the reception staff—Moshe, Olga, and Dali. They were incredibly warm, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist with all our needs. Dali went the extra mile to help us extend our stay when our flight was cancelled. All staff were so kind and helpful. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and genuinely care about guests’ experiences. This personal touch from the reception team was one of the highlights of our visit.
Poli House was a wonderful choice for our Tel Aviv trip. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, centrally located hotel with a great

The Polihouse hotel has the best Roof Top infinity pool in the Tel Aviv. Moderately priced and is in a great central location near shopping and the beach. Friendly staff and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely go back!

Great location for walking around in central Tel-Aviv, shopping and eating out. Pool area was also very nice, both design and comfort- wise and the fact that the pool is heated. We come to Tel-Aviv three times a year and know how difficult it can get to find a hotel with a decent pool area, and the Poli House's more than decent.
However, cleanliness and attention to details is not a weak spot for this property. The room seemed inadequately maintained (mold in shower silicone edges, stains on curtain and bathroom wall, small cracks on some furniture). When arriving the room had only a few soap bottles, one of which was half empty and missing a cap, as well as a vanity set box that was empty (seemed like room turnover was lacking). Minibar was totally empty, and the small room doesn't have an electric kettle (we did receive, however, two complimentary water bottles which was appreciated).
On the second day of our stay, room cleaning was done quite late - about 14:00 - so we had to wait for fresh towels to shower with since by that time we had already went back to the room to rest after spending time in the pool. The towels we received later were also extremely dirty which was inexcusable.
We did manage to enjoy our vacation because of the great advantages the hotel had, but its obvious problems will make me consider other properties for our next Tel-Aviv excursion.

Mixed experience. Check-in is inconveniently on 3rd floor. Location good, but we did not know inn advance of the construction going on on the street outside, and our room faced this. Fortunately we were up early before it got noisy. Bathroom door can either close to the room or the stall shower (no bath), not both--and it leaked. Website said pool would be open, but perhaps it was a little too cold out. But whirlpool not operating, and sauna had no water for steam. We did appreciate them quickly getting us a hotwater pot on request.

Very Nice Boutique Hotel

This is a great boutique hotel. It has an ideal location by the Carmel Shuk. Construction for the light rail line on Allenby does make access from a car a challenge. We were likely the oldest folks at the hotel (trip was a celebration of my turning 70) as it is geared to folks 30 to 40 years younger than us. Not ideal for families as grandson had to share a room with his parents. A full size suite
or adjoining rooms would have been better for us but wrong hotel for that. Found the staff to be very good and welcoming.

The hotel is very very neglected! The rooms are absolutely disgusting with stains on the walls and very poor cleaning. I recommend to avoid. The service is good and they tried to help but there isn’t much that they could do when the hotels is so bad.

Generally a good hotel, but not without its issues

Generally a good hotel, rooftop pool is delightful and staff all friendly. The room was a decent size and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom is under engineered - the bathroom door doubles as a shower screen and doesn’t work properly, so water escapes into rest of bathroom and some of bedroom. Bedside light wouldn’t switch off without a fight, either.

Also, and very irritatingly, I had about 6 emails in the days before I arrived asking me to ‘check in online’ and agree to the hotel’s cancellation policy. Both in English and then Hebrew. It’s excessive, unnecessary and borderline threatening, and I don’t want to do more admin than I need to in any case. Then even more emails as soon as I’ve checked in, purportedly from the Hotel manager.

The marketing is a bit twee, but I guess some people like that.

A fraud not what shown in pictures!

Very disappointed the hotel did not meet our expectativas. The photos shown do not depict the property, very misleading! The area is a mess, our next door neighbor is a homeless, no breakfast at the premises. Even if you pay for breakfast you have to walk a few blocks to get it out of the hotel. The options are terrible one of the options given is closed under remodelación! I understood the Brown hotels were very reputable? This hotel needs an upgrade!!!!!

This hotel is stylish, safe and clean. Great location next to the Carmel market and very short walk to fantastic restaurants, shopping and the beach. Rooftop pool and bar, free yoga lessons, afternoon cocktails, chocolate whrn you arrive and super confortable bed and spa like bathroom. One of the best for me was that if you choose to have breakfast as part of your stay they give you vouchers for a full breakfast at 1 of 4 local cafes. My fav was the Biciclette cafe with a gorgeous secluded courtyard with flowers, birds singing etc. I had a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs on challah and it was so damn good. The hotel staff were suoer friendly and helpful. I loved this hotel and would stay there again.

Does NOT have free parking at the hotel

The hotel is very nice and is located in a central touristy area. It came up through the filter of available parking, however, the hotel does not actually have a parking. There are a couple of paid parking garages about 5 minutes walking distance, but I wish I'd known that earlier. Also, due to the location, it is rather loud pretty late into the night. The hotel itself is lovely, though.

VFM ratio is not good all around Israel and especially in Tel Aviv. for a high price you get a small urban hotel with emphasis on design rather then comfort. the only common areas are the small rooftop pool which suffers from lack of sitting area and a lot of pigeons, you do have a nice roof top bar. the room is small but not functionel (lack of storage space and hanging hooks), there is noise coming from the street but mainly from the roof and neighboring rooms.

It is a really nice hotel in the heart of TLV. I really enjoyed spending time in the bar at the rooftop.
If you are thinking of taking the deal with breakfast you should know that it is not in the hotel but in restaurants around and they are opening only after 8am...

One night. Great location. Excepted it to be loud with the busy street below, but we were woken several times (3am, 5:30am) from loud guests inside the hotel. Running in the hallway, screaming. Paper thin walls - we could hear people whispering on the landing outside our door.

The door to the bathroom doubles as the door to the shower. It also didn’t fully close to the room.

Very nice chat service prior to check-in. Provided restaurant recommendations.

Outstanding location. Avoid rooms overlooking the busy street -- other rooms are much quieter. Very modern boutique hotel with staff that make visitors feel as if they have personal staff 24/7. Tel Aviv in winter has warm days and cool to cold nights. The heating/a/c system is usually a/c most of the day but often heat from very early in the morning to late morning, so keep this switch in mind. Most staying here open a window rather than using the system during the winter months. Orthodox Jews who require twin beds should reserve early, because most rooms seem to have queen beds (roomy and very comfortable). Kosher breakfast option is exceptional.

In the centre of the centre

Poli House is in the centre of the centre. Food, galleries, cultural events, nightlife, and the beach are only a few steps away. The trade-off for such an amazing location is that things get a little noisy. Because it's a heritage building (beautifully restored & re-designed by Karim Rashid), the windows had to be preserved, and don't do a great job blocking out the hustle and bustle a few storeys below. Amenities were great, WiFi was good, service was good (if a little impersonal, given that we stayed for a full week), the terrace is marvelous and the location is unbeatable. Solid 4/5.

Great location, I was disappointed by the lack of proper sound proofing at that price range (you could hear people's discussions who were walking on the street). They did offer to change me of room but the hotel was apparently fully booked on my first night and I therefore decided not to move. While the hotel has an interesting decor, it seems a bit worn out (on the ground floor and the checking area) and I wouldn't rank this as a true 4 star hotel. The staff was welcoming (I didn't try the breakfast). Unfortunately, the wifi signal was weak on my phone but fine using a laptop.

The hotel is in great shape, very clean, modern and comfortable. The location is amazing. Walk out the door into the heart of things. The rooms are funky and modern. The bathroom was quite large. What I didn't like is that the shower doesn't have walls. Just a curtain. The water from the shower got all over the floor. The other negative is the mini bar is sensor operated. I wanted to put some water and iced coffee in the fridge, and when I removed items to make room, it indicates to the front desk that I've consumed something from the mini bar. Service was great, the bed/linens very comfortable. I'd return.

The hotel will be very nice - however it was a building site for the time i was there - with no warning from the hotel or expedia. The bar was closed 2 out of the 5 nights, no breakfast facilities and the pool area was adhoc closed.
The staff were doing their best, but the inconsistency in information was tiring. All bar 1 were exceptionally helpful - 1 felt that rolling her eyes was a suitable reaction to a question she didn't want to answer.
Hotel is well located, but as a consequence is very very noisy - traffic
I was on the second floor, under the bar - on the nights it was open, the bar noise traveled and the sounds of chairs dragging was constant.

Fantastic hotel in the best spot in Tel Aviv! Every member of staff was lovely and extremely helpful. A few metres and you're at Carmel Market, and 15 mins walk to the beach so a prime location. Especially loved the rooftop pool and bar. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice boutique city hotel great staff

The hotel is 'different' and the staff are superb, very friendly and efficient. My room was good, with a comfortable bed, a free local liqueur, The in room safe easily fitted laptop + .
There is a rooftop bar where the pool area is, I never got a chance to use it. Breakfast was at a cafe a few doors down that had a nice garden patio area. My balcony was a bit small and the chair on the balcony was not that good and there was nowhere to put a drink ... but that is not much of a problem. I would stay here again... I liked it They also had a jar of jellybeans in the room.

I Was disappointed with the level of professionalism shown by hotel staff. They were very nice young women - but could not meet my simple needs . They were not able to get us a taxi; they were not able to recommend a restaurant without “googling” it on the internet; the television could not get English speaking news channels. There was NO place to get coffee before 7 AM on the hotel premises. You had to walk 4-5 blocks. If I hadn’t already prepaid our stay, I would have checked out. I would not definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone over 30 years of age.

Perfect Poli House in Terrific Tel Aviv!!

First time to Tel Aviv - wanted a 'boutique' type hotel and we weren't disappointed. Lovely place and fab roof terrace made even better by the extremely high quality of staff who clearly care about their guests enjoying themselves and made our stay perfect. The hotel had lovely little touches such as complimentary usage of bicycles, jelly beans in the rooms, Arak shots at downstairs reception, and once again the staff from the whole hotel. The bar staff Jordan, Roy and Nouffi(prob not right spelling) who made us feel like family, to the lovely team working reception/concierge(Sophie, Olga, Aaron, Galia and Shani, and too many others to name!), to the cleaners and room staff who all did as much as they could for us. Their English was of a high quality and local recommendations were perfect for where to go for food, drinks etc....We have booked another stay in 4 months time while we were checking out as we loved our time there so much.

The perfect design boutique hotel nestled in a beautifully rehabilitated Ville Blanche building in the beating heart of the city (it dies mean some noise because the city never sleeps). But what really makes a difference is the people and their amazing care for their guests.

Design gem with lovely people

A beautiful little design renovation gem right in the centre of the Ville Blanche. Walking distance from everything and plenty of public transportation too. And most of all fantastic people who make you feel at home from the minute you set foot in the hotel and never fail to do so during your stay. Only 2 little things are missing : a contracted taxi company that does work on holiday evenings and an inside sitting area when the sun gets too hot and you don't feel like being in your room. I've found my place to stay when in TA and hope to be back soon.

Great hotel and location

Great hotel and great rooftop bar and pool. Only complaint is pool area is small and the hotel should not allow outside guests to pay to use pool as there is not enough seating area for hotel guests as it is today. Management should address this

Don't bring your car. NO car access to the hotel.

It is very small hotel with very small room. There is now view city or otherwise. I booked a room with a city view. My view was an abandoned building with graffiti everywhere. Even though the room was empty they wouldn't give it to me till after 3pm. No one there to help with luggage. Make sure to travel very light to this hotel. The location is good during the day. Sitting on top of an old Market. At night it is a so so location. Lots of homeless people around the entrance of the hotel.

Love this place!

This hotel is a great find, very funky and contemporary with excellent customer service, they go above and beyond the call of duty. Loved the rooftop pool area and room very comfortable. Everywhere easily walkable and accessible. Buzzing area next to the Carmel market. Love everything about it and will definitely return.

Great hotel for the most part!

Amazing lobby and roof deck! Rooms are a bit small and not as nicely maintained as the common areas. There is an issue that the shower door doesn't really work to stop water flow. But it's still worth it to enjoy the building and vibrant fun neighborhood surrounding the hotel. And the bed and bedding was soooo comfortable. Central and convenient location. One of the guests started yelling at me on the roofdeck though and the management did not intervene when asked. Still I'd stay there again because I did enjoy the vibe of the hotel and the roof pool and deck.

Overall it was nice. Our room was on the inside courtyard making it extremely dark and quiet, even though the hotel is in a busy area. That was a big plus. The pool was nice but there were not enough spots for all guests, and that was a bit annoying.
Rooms were small, but clean and well decorated.

Amazing new hotel in a run down yet authentic area. Gracious service not otherwise found in Israel. The adjacent restaurant where breakfast/ food is served has staff with a surly and aggressive attitude.
