Don't stay here!!!

We rented a room for 3 adults. The room had one large bed sufficient for 2, and no place or option even for a folding bed. The bed took up 90% of the room. The person working said she was new and had never seen the rooms, and since it was Saturday afternoon her religious boss will not be available until 8 am on Sunday. Moreover, the tiny room was not clean. Huge disappointment. The room was definitely not like advertised, and inappropriate for 3 people. Very deceiving!

Would totally go back

Location amazing. Room ok. Not the cleanest but for the price perfect. Staff pretty horrible. Manager tried to charge us for an extra night, took over an hour for a person to let us in (it was Shabbat but they knew we were coming) and the hallway is a very strong flowery smell that will make ur nose burn. But even with all these items I would still go back bc the location and price are amazing.

Poorly maintained property not honoring booking

Unfortunately I had a bad experience in this property, as they didn’t honor the original booking forcing me to find a last minute alternative for the first out of 3 nights. Due to some supposed confusion, my studio room was given to someone else and I was offered to instead sleep in a bunk bed in a shared room with shared bathroom, in very poor condition and without even a locker to store my personal items. I had to find a different place to sleep the first night and manage to get the studio for the other 2 nights (would have cancelled and looked for something else for the whole stay but most other places were fully booked and prices were 4 times higher than my booking). I actually confirmed the reservation and arrival time with the property the day before, but obviously this didn’t help.

The studio was small and of low quality. On the other hand, the location is excellent, just steps away from the beach. The receptionist Mao was very friendly and did his best to help me during this undesired situation.

However, i would never consider staying here again and would definitely not recommend this place to anyone else.

I made a note to the property that we are arriving late in the night but by the time we arrived, the reception was already closed. I tried calling their number but no answer. It was already close to midnight and it was dark and cold outside. We had no choice but to book to a nearby hotel.

I then contacted them again in the morning to confirm that we are continuing our stay only to be told that they can no longer accommodate us as they are fully booked and they have given our room to someone else. I asked to speak to the manager, but that receptionist said even the manager won't be able to do anything. They said they will look for a room in a different apartment, but I didn't see that happen as they never got back to us.

It was so unfair and unacceptable on our part (plus the fact that I am pregnant and stressed with no place to stay in the middle of the night) as they made no effort to communicate with us or tell us in advance that our booking was disregarded for no reason at all. Avoid at all cost!

My mother and I had an excellent stay at the Crown Sea Apartments in Tel Aviv. Check in and check out were flaweless and communication with the host was very friendly. The Apartments is conveniently located just right at the beach. Especially the rooms where spacious enough and clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. Would definately plan to come again! Best wishes David!

Great location.

Redeeming factor is the great location. Minor negatives include misinformation regarding checking time (2pm not 24 hours), double bed was 2 single beds pushed together, doors provide extremely minimal soundproofing, air-conditioning unit pushed out lots of dust when turned on, lack of functioning windows, old dirty mattresses. Negatives somewhat offset by relatively low cost for the area and location.

Excellent location! Right next to the beach and also easy walk to the shuk, Jaffa etc. Front of house were very friendly and check in was easy. The room itself was very clean, well lit and modern. It was on the smaller side (quite typical of Tel Aviv!) but definitely good enough to recommend to future guests !

DO NOT STAY HERE! The rooms are extremely small and smell like mildew. They have air fresheners in the room putting a perfume smell over the top of bad smells. Not a good combination.
The worst part of our stay is as the hotel manager walking in to our room in the middle of the night (he apparently didn’t know anyone was in the room and was going to give it to another guest). This was followed shortly by the hotel alarm going off because someone was smoking in their room. Needless to say, we didn’t get much sleep and had a terrible experience.
Also, pay attention to the parking. No on site parking and the closest lot costs $35/day. Take this into account when price shopping.
It’s close to the beach and cheap, but that’s all I can say for this hotel.

Decent for a few nights near beach

Hotel is decent if you want to stay a couple of nights. Not top notch and condition just ok. Service from the front gentlemen were great. Location is great but difficult to get to because of one way streets and heavy traffic near the beach with small streets. It says parking available but it's actually a separate parking lot 1 building down, not on site and not owned by the hotel. They have their own prices. Front desk guy spoke with them and 1 was able to get me parking for the duration of the stay because hotels.com has parking available. Front desk guy said that is a mistake. Hipefully theu will change that. If you need parking, make sure to call and find out of the separate lot has availability.

the first night we found a cockroach in the room, the room was very damp and at night the other hotelguests were noisy and cooking diner at 1am which made our room smell. there was a very weird vibe in this hotel.
location is great but that about it.

This was my second time, soon to be third time at the Crown Sea Apartments. Location! Location! Location! Steps from food, convenience and the beach (literally less than 50 steps). 10 minutes gentle stroll from Carmel market and funky restaurants including the artsy and fashionable Neve Tzedek district. The service is friendly. Rooms clean and modern. HIGHLY RECOMMNED IT.

just 1 minute's walk from the beach

24h front desk was there waiting for me when I arrived at 2am after a late-arriving flight. Much appreciated!
Room had no 'city views' as per what I booked, but I got there late so perhaps was the last one left.
Hotel is just 1 minute's walk from the beautiful beach.
Be sure to walk along the beach to Jaffa - good restaurants, lots of history, and an excellent free daily tour that leaves from the clock tower.

We enjoyed this stay. The place is a little older than I would have thought, but it is well enough maintained and the rooms are updated and comfortable. I noticed the place being cleaned meticulously. The staff are extremely welcoming and nice and I am grateful for that. The place is located in the midst of a few other hostel type locations and very near to the beach and convenience stores. The price was very right compared to other options. I would stay again.

Loved my stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Lovely amenities - a small bottle of wine and a couple glasses were set out upon my arrival. The hotel is both a hostel and apartments - apartments have separate, secure entrance. GREAT location - a very short walk to beach, 15 minute walk to Carmel Shuk, half hour walk to Jaffa. Good value.

A Place to Avoid at All Costs

Please avoid this \"hotel\". We realized something was wrong the moment we stepped into the cramped \"lobby\" (maybe 2 sq meters of space), having to wait nearly 20 minutes for the night manager to even acknowledge us (he was chatting away on the phone). When he finally did acknowledge us, he took yet another phone call. The manager failed to return my passport, which I had to go back for (his response \"I keep forgetting the passport\")

The room was clean, which is the only plus. The walls were thin, the shower door was off the tracks, there was constant noise, the lighting in the room was harsh 5000K led lights, there was no hot water in the morning, and the staff was rude. We informed Hotels.com within 20 minutes of checking in the we had no intention of staying a second night. Hotels.com said they contacted the hotel, that we were right that they were rude, and that they had been told to call the hotel back in the morning. The next morning we told the manager at the desk that we were checking out due to our experience. We called Hotels.com the next two days, each time Hotels.com said the Crown Sea told them to call back later. Now that we have returned from our trip, we contacted Hotels.com once again. This time the Crown Sea basically told them to pound sand.

The Crown Sea is not at all worth the price. I would recommend avoiding it at all costs. I was going to say perhaps it might be worth US$75, but honestly, I think this location should simply be avoided.

Al momento de llegar, me dijeron que por un error, mi cuarto estaba ocupado y que al día siguiente de me iban a dar una habitación, (ese fin de semana fue el PRIDE en ISRAEL) todos los hoteles estaba llenos. seguramente el dueño reevendio los cuartos por medio de otra pagina de internet, Les dije que habia pasado 20 horas de vuelos para llegar de mexico a Israel y no les importo, tuve que quedarme en un carto del hostal y fueron mis peores días de todo mi viaje. fue como haber estado en una CARCEL

Bequem, sauber, alles vorhanden und mega location

Ich habe eine Übernachtung nach einer Hochzeit in Tel Aviv gesucht. Ich würde diese Location empfehlen, die liegt wirklich super nah am Strand und gleichzeitig zentral in Tel Aviv.
Das Personal Vorort ist sehr freundlich, entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich fand es super, dass mir ein late Check out gewährt wurde, so konnte ich am Tag der Abreise bis 12h das Zimmer kostenfrei nutzen. Sogar Kaffee und Milch wurde mir beim Check in mit gegeben und so kann man sich den ersten Kaffee am Morgen selbst zubereiten.
Ich würde aber immer die nächst größere Zimmer Kategorie wählen, so passt das superior Studio besser für zwei Personen, es ist geräumig und damit bequemer. Es hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Bügelbrett ( das brauchte ich jetzt nicht) und einen richtig guten Föhn! Die Aussicht ist entweder zur Straße oder zum seitlichen Innenhof. Ich finde das spielt keine Rolle, das Haus befindet sich wenige Meter vom Stand und besser kann man in Tel Aviv nicht positioniert sein, es sei denn man hält nach 5 Sterne Aufenthalt Ausschau.
Dieses kleine Hotel hat alles, was es braucht und ist sauber gehalten. Es könnte etwas mehr Ablageflächen im Bad geben, aber alles in allem ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Haus, welches ich wieder wähle bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Tel Aviv.

God beliggenhet like ved stranden. Svært god standard på rom. Nyoppusset og fint. Hotellet er mye finere på innsiden enn på utsiden! Rimelige priser i forhold til beliggenheten. Minikjøkken på rommet, slik at man kan lage frokost og enkle måltider selv. Avslappet atmosfære.

Unser Apartment war klein aber sehr sauber.
Das Bett war sehr bequem.
Es war eine Klimaanlage, ein Safe, ein kleiner Kühlschrank, ein Wasserkocher, eine mobile Doppelkochplatte, ein Bügeleisen, ein Fön und Geschirr vorhanden. (Nur 1 Topf aber ich denke wenn man an der Rezeption fragt bekommt man auch einen zweiten, die sind nämlich echt nett)
Die Lage ist super nah am Strand.
Lebensmittelgeschäfte gibt es in der Umgebung mehrere.
Eine Bushaltestelle ist 50m entfernt.

Das Apartment war jeden Tag tiptop sauber, wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Beschreibung (Classic Room) und die Ausstattung entsprachen genau den Angaben. Freunde von uns hatten ein DeLuxe Apartment, auch dieses entsprach in allem den Angaben/Ausstattung. Die Bilder der Zimmer sind, zumindest die die ich gesehen habe, auf der Webseite aktuell.
Das Personal ist zuvorkommend, gibt gute Tips für das Abendprogramm und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!

Apartment by the sea is a small but nice accommodation only a minute walk away from the beach. The rooms are fine. The beds were nice. The airco was excelllent. The only small downside is that the walls are thin. But that really did ‘t bother us much.
We had a nice stay.

Выбор на отель пал из-за того, что он находится рядом с клиникой. Папе необходимо было пройти обследование, при этом очень плохое самочувствие, что нужно постоянно лежать. Заранее было написано в отель с разъяснением ситуации и необходимостью раннего заезда в 12 и выезде чуть позже 11. Было получено письмо, что они постараются сделать ранний заезд и выезде в три. Конечно ничего этого сделано не было. Комната очень маленькая, звукоизоляции нет, слышно, что делают соседи. В ванне не закрывалось окно, были сквозняки, ночью температура 12 градусов.

Nous avons passé 5 merveilleux jours à tel aviv, es ans oublier l incontournable visite de Jérusalem ainsi que la mer morte. Concernant l'hôtel en lui même, il est très bien situé, juste une minute à pied de la plage. Le confort et service ok sauf pour le wifi qui de temps en temps fonctionne très mal. Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant. La chambre est faite chaque matin.

A due passi dal mare

Buona accoglienza, stanza pulita profumata ed accessoriata. Solo il letto non lo ho trovato comodissimo in quanto il materasso era morbido. Hanno provveduto alla custodia delle valigie anche dopo il check out.
Per chi ha l'auto consiglio di parcheggiare al parcheggio adiacente alla Hassan Bek Mosque (costa solo 20Nis al giorno) e raggiungi l'hotel in 10 minuti.

Gutes Hotel zu einem Fairen Preis!

Sehr nettes und lustiges Pesonal an der Rezeption. Wenn beim nächsten mal noch etwas besser gesaugt wird (Haare von anderen langen herum) ist das ein top Hotel für den Preis. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Venden desayuno lo pagas y luego no te lo dan

Lo que me vendieron en Hoteles.com no fue lo que me ofrecieron sin derecho a reclamo. Compramos hab con desayuno continental y a pesar del reclamo y mostrar nuestra reserva paga que lo decía claramente nos manifestaron que ellos no tenían desayuno y que lo lamentaban pero nada que hacer !
Una estafa completa si no hay desayuno pues no lo vendan así de simple. Cero disposición para ayudar o que el cliente se sienta cómodo lamentable
