They gave me their cheapest, smallest room and lied that it was an Executive room. They moved me the next day to a slightly larger room but still not the one I had paid for. I complained to Expedia who did their best to contact the hotel for a partial refund but the hotel did not respond to several tries by Expedia to reach them. They are dishonest. The rooms are small and in very poor condition. My advice, choose any other hotel and ignore the photos on the web site which are very misleading.

This is a very strange place. It doesn’t look anything like the pictures. The staff were nice but the rooms were tiny and not very well appointed. I had an executive room and can’t even imagine what the standard room was like. Don’t trip coming out of the shower.

on my first night I discovered a bed bug crawling on my pillow. In addition the bathroom sink was clogged. There was no manager on duty at the time (10pm) but eventually I was moved to another room of the same size. I went to the reception desk on the next day and was told that the manager has already left for the day (at 2PM!). Finally on the third day I received an email reply from the hotel, denying that what I saw was a bed bug (Luckily I do have a photo to prove) and offering breakfast for the remainder of my stay, which I consider unsatisfactory as compensation. Would not recommend staying here.

When I checked in, the bathroom was dirty, the bin had the garbage from the previous guest. The next day they came to fix the room but they didn't even fix the bed, they throw everything away, they are not careful with things

We loved the location!! I did not know what to expect when I booked Ultra Hotel because I have not visited Tel Aviv before so the fact that the hotel was so near to the beach (such a fabulous beach too), was amazing. The service we received was lovely and so were the staff who gave us maps and mentioned some places to visit. We would definitely recommend Ultra Hotel and would certainly come to stay again. Thank you everyone!!

A very nice clean and secure place. A very nice staff that will help with information and tour arrangements. Fresh coffee and pastries with fruits every day. A very nice bar/ restaurant on the first floor. Excellent location, a block away from the beach and other hotels and restaurants.

This hotel is nicely located near the beach and main street (Bograshov) and the price was reasonable. The rooms are extremely small with not much storage space and everything feels dark. Overall it was serviceable but not pleasurable.

The location is the best, 1 minute away or less from the beach. Near plenty of bus stations (if public transport is needed). The hotel overall was excellent; quiet, with AC, luggage storage, excellent service, bar down stairs. Overall I would stay here again.

While I appreciate that the hotel was eco-friendly, it was a little hard to get used to the noise of the airline style toilet and the noises while the shower was in use.
While I got used to it, I prefer a larger room. With two large suitcases, my wife and I were very cramped in our room.
Overall, the hotel is fine and a good value for the money.

We like the location, friendly front desk and personal staff. Cleanness of the facility and our room. Complimentary coffee, water, snacks at the front desk.
Disliked the entrance, the size of the rooms, the noise from the sewer ( every time you flush the toilet very loud noise) or if someone takes a shower you hear the water flush from somewhere every 30-60 seconds. For 1-2 nights it’s ok , but not more then that.

I did not receive any VIP benefits. The restaurant staff was in-training and at the only dinner we did in-house our filet medallion (an entrée) was served before our starter dish. The room was clean and updated, but the service was not good. I won’t stay here again, and cannot recommend it to others.

Great Location

Fantastic stay in great location! Hotel is nice. Rooms are on the smaller side, but they do utilize space well. Only cons I found were, no convenient place near bed to plug in phones, rooms are NOT soundproof so you literally hear everything your neighbors are doing/watching, & lastly the pillows are not very comfortable. Overall, great stay and staff are excellent.

The good: amazing breakfast. Better than we had at Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem. Good location - very close to the beach. You can Wal to some great restaurants.
The bad: Room is tiny with no place to put luggage (we only had 2 small carry ons). Water evacuation system for the shower and toilet is noisy and freaky at first, but we got used to it quickly.
The shower water temperature control in our room (216) didn't work, so shower was too hot - better than cold. The room was facing the parking ramp with bright lights shining right into your room. So overall, if you can get this hotel for less than $120, it may be worth it.

Rooms nice, staff nice, but not for me. Half of the rooms are inside rooms without outside windows. If this bothers you, you should ask for an outside window room. On the plus side, the inside rooms are probably quieter. Toilets and water system is very noisy-I had to sleep with ear plugs. Nice breakfast

Nice, modern hotel close to everything

First, this hotel is modern, clean, and extremely convienent to the beach and city center. Second, the staff in reception were professional and friendly. A special thanks to Barach and Viola (excuse spelling). However, the male bartender seemed less than enthusiastic or friendly. Not trying to get him in trouble, but he should work on being more engaging. Third, I appreciate the water conservation efforts, but the excessive noise created by the system is irritating at times. Finally, this hotel was in an excellent location! Take advantage of the parking next to the hotel. Three great restaurants within five minutes; Salva Vida, Mexicana, and Thai House. Soak up the awesome beach scene in Tel Aviv!

Great location makes it easy to walk all over Tel Aviv! The staff was very friendly, the hotel is clean and has a great boutique feel, and the beds are comfortable.

The only downside is the rooms are a bit small and my wife and I had to do some maneuvering with our luggage to open it.

The hotel is Ultra modern, clean and great location. There is on tap coffee/tea and snacks all day. Breakfast is good. Very close to beach, Carmel Market and shopping mall. Loved all the little extras. Easy to get to by bus/train from airport or Jerusalem. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money. staff also very friendly. We stayed a few blocks away last year in similar sized hotel but the Ultra was so much better in every way.

Will book room out from under you, left stranded

Accidentally booked the wrong night, didn't realize until it was too late. Checked with them over the phone and was told it couldn't be changed or refunded, so booked elsewhere to cover the night needed but retained the reservation. When I returned to Tel Aviv to stay for the night booked, was told that my reservation was cancelled and there wasn't a room available. Took my money and did not actually provide the service paid for.

I had a lovely time staying at this modern, yet eclectic hotel. My ONLY complaint was that my air conditioner seemed to deactivate and not respond to the control panel in my room. To be fair, when it was working, which was 95% of the time, it was COLD!!! :)
Now that I've mentioned the ONE negative, I'm sure I will forget, regretably, a few of the excellent experiences. The staff was INCREDIBLE!!! So accommodating, willing to help with any and all requests. Each time I reported the malfunctioning air conditioner, the issue was resolved immediately and with ease. They helped me book my unforgettable tour to Jerusalem happily and expeditiously, and pointed me in the right direction with any and all inquiries. Lastly, they arranged my cab to the airport and sent me on a safe journey home.
The housekeeping staff was also fantastic. My room was IMMACULATE each time I returned from the beach or a late dinner, with a made bed and fresh towels, and the room appeared as if I had just arrived. 'Do Not Disturb?' No problem... the digital panel allows you to request privacy or maid service at a single touch.
The restaurant/bar staff was also very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was a bowl of cereal, and a smile from one of the young waitresses, offering me a cafe. I opted for the latte every time.
All in all, I couldn't have imagined having stayed in a cleaner, cooler, hospitaple establishment.

The Ultra looks like everything, but a hotel from the outside street level. You enter through a chic cocktail bar, where we enjoyed a night cap after evenings out. This is also where the hotel hosted morning breakfast, which had variety and wash fresh!

The staff was helpful. Rooms may be considered small for some, but was just the right size for the two of us. Plus, how much time so you really spend sitting around in the room when in Tel Aviv! Very clean with towels and amenities replenished daily. Hair dryer and room safe also provided. Great AC and comfy bed.
Modern accommodation perfect for us.

Location is one block from the best beaches in Tel Aviv, around the corner from Ben Yehuda, and short walk to markets and mall. We walked everywhere!

We will me back to the Ultra, a gem!

The Ultra had a nice contemporary style. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a nice shared balcony/patio area. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and had a good variety. They also had 24 hour snacks and cappuccino/coffee available which were also included. It was a nice location, close walking distance to the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
