Blue Sea Marble is clean, the room was a reasonable size and the bed was comfy. The room was a little bit rough round the edges and could do with a little polishing up (some marks on the wall… a rusty fridge… the bathroom a little shabby) however for the price paid it was comfortable!

Road noise from Hayarkon is a little loud for rooms on the front, but it is as you would expect from a “front of the beach” hotel.

Would I stay here again? Yes, if the price was right!

I arrived in a storm. There was no doorbell and the front door was locked. The receptionist was in the bathroom and I was stood outside in extremely high winds and very heavy rain. On leaving the bathroom and seeing me, the receptionist did not run to the door to let me in out of the inclement weather, but instead walked to the coffee machine, got himself a biscuit, then sat down behind reception before moving some papers around to find the button to let me in. No sense of urgency and completely inappropriate. Upon asking why he thought getting a biscuit was appropriate when I was stood outside in a winter storm, he replied that I \"didn't look that wet\"

Later that evening, the power went out in the hotel. Not the street - just the hotel. I had no lighting at all in my room and had to navigate by phone torch, so could not shower nor charge my phone to set my 4am alarm for my flight the next morning.

Further, an alarm was ringing non-stop (due to the power cut), and the wind was causing the fire doors and hallway windows to rattle and slam loudly, making sleep impossible.

I went to reception to find other guests already asking the receptionist to solve the problem. He said (at 9:30pm) that the electrician was 3 hours away. When we said that would be past midnight and we cannot sleep due to the alarm, his response was \"I am not a manager. I just work here. In two hours, I clock out and go home and this is not my problem\". I have this evidenced on video. Unacceptable.

At checkout (December 13th) I was told I will be credited within 1-2 days. Still waiting (Dec. 20th).

Great location for everything from the beach to restaurants to nightlife, friendly and extremely helpful staff, easy check in and they are very cool about late checkout (like 5pm checkout).

Rooms are on the small side but hey, you’re in Israel….why would you stay in the room other than sleep and getting ready? Shower always leaks water and takes all the towels to soak up, HaYarkon is loud during the AM.

Clean and comfortable. For 2 in a room I'd suggest a larger room if more than a.night or two.
Bathroom and storage in room is minimal but the rooms are cheery and spotlessly clean.

The staff were brilliant - very helpful and very friendly. Also, the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. It’s in a good location, being a block away from Jerusalem Beach. A particularly nice touch was the provision of complementary chocolate and wine with the room, which was a lovely touch!

However, there are definitely no sea views due to large buildings being in the way. My other main issue with the hotel was that the room I stayed in was very small, with the bathroom in particular being very cramped.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just one block from the beaches. It's small and cozy. But it has its quirks. The A/C works well, though it took some coaxing.

I spent one night in a room that looked a tad shoddy, with scuffed walls, worn curtains, outdated fixtures and only a couple of electrical outlets. In the morning, the hot water available was tepid at best. But the room was quiet and the bed comfortable.

For the second night, they moved me to a newer, renovated room. It was sparkling clean and modern, with new (contractor grade) fixtures and tiled floors. The desk had several electrical outlets, and more were available throughout the room, an important consideration in today's world of digital and cellular devices that need charging. This room had plenty of hot water, though the shower stall was installed poorly and water leaked all over the bathroom floor!

The service was excellent. Kyle in reception was friendly, responsive and accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable, and took extra care to ensure that we had a good stay, going above and beyond to fix booking errors and even get us a partial refund.

Coffee, breads and juice are provided 24/7, and the lobby and patio are small but comfortable. Overall, an very good hotel for the budget minded.

3 rooms in 4 days!
Room #1 had cracked bathroom tiles, bulging floor boards and a non see through window, but the main issue was the damp and musty feel and smell that I could not get rid of no matter how I set the A/C. My bathing suit didn't not dry in 24 hours. So they moved me.
Room #2 was newly renovated but while taking my first shower the whole bathroom and part of the bedroom got flooded(the shower floor was leaning the wrong way). So they moved me again.
Room #3 was ok. Although still very humid it smelled better and the shower only leaked a little.
So;
The rooms are small and dated. Bathrooms are tiny and storage is limited.
I was by myself and it would have been quite a squeeze for 2 people in any of the 3 rooms.
The room facing the street was very noisy.
The location is excellent. 1 block to the beach, buses and restaurants.
The staff is friendly and very helpful. They really tried to accommodate me but with the rooms being in such a state, it was not easy.
They don't have their own restaurant so breakfast is around the corner at an other hotel. It had quite a nice buffet with a 6th floor view of the sea.

Do not stay here if you have a mold allergy!
This is definitely a budget hotel even at the $150+ per night.
Tel Aviv is expensive and so are the hotels.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is very convenient to the beachfront, shopping, dining, and bus stops. The biggest complaint is that the rooms are very small; just a bed, nightstand, and a small bathroom with a sink, toilet, and stand-up shower. There is also no elevator, so if you have mobility problems or heavy luggage, request a 1st floor room or stay someplace else. It is suitable for a short stay for 1 or 2 people, where all you need is a bed and shower, but if for longer stays, families, or business people, this is probably not the best location.

This was our first stay at this property, and it was a welcome surprise. Although this is not a deluxe hotel, it exceeds in every important way. It has a fantastic staff, who are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and adequate, not fancy, but comfortable. The location can not be beat. It is a short five minute walk to the beach, and fine restaurants., and shops, and markets. There is a laundromat a short stroll away. I highly recommend this hotel, and it’s fantastic staff.

We had a really positive experience with this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The staff was very helpful, they even carried up our suitcase without us even asking them. There is free tea and (instant) coffee as well as cookies around the clock in the lobby. The room was one of the most inviting I have seen in Israel, partly due to its wooden floor (a rarity in Israel it seems!). Bed and shower stream were very comfortable. A downside I found the little choice in breakfast, consisting only of choices of sweet things (strawberry jam or very sweet croissants).

Great stay overall, it was a basic budget hotel, which is what we wanted since we weren't going to be at the hotel much. Service was amazing, the front desk staff are great to talk to and very helpful, booked our tours and gave great advice. Breakfast was simple, but they gave us vouchers to eat at another breakfast restaurant and a buffet breakfast at another hotel!

Our last night, the shower did not have hot water, we let them know and they gave us another room right beside ours!

A budget hotel yet excellent.

The room was clean and large, the bathroom was also clean although the toilet close to the sink caused a little dancing around. 24 hour tea, coffee and pastries was a nice touch as were the welcome chocolates and wine. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The close proximity to the beach and other local attractions make the location perfect for travellers. This is not the Hilton but not Hilton prices either. Breakfast was simple, but adequate and fresh. Would definately stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel Just a few days ago. I can’t believe that this place is rated as a 4 star hotel. The real 4 star hotels should be offended! The rooms are small and furnished with the cheapest possible furniture. The bathroom was run down. As if we were not disappointed enough, we found out that there was no hot water. The person in charge refused to change our room, he just suggested that we can shower in a different room! We didn’t have hot water throughout our stay and the management didn’t have the courtesy to compensate us for this inconvenience.

Perfect location and wonderful staff!

I needed a hotel convenient to everywhere within walking distance to the center, Old Port, Jaffa, Florantin, Neve Sadek, Sarona and close to the beach and the Blue Sea Marble fit the bill perfectly. The hotel sits tucked away on Hayarkon Street, a short block from Allenby and almost across from the Opera Tower. It has a nice terrace facing Hayarkon with a hotel and residential highrise currently being built across the street. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the small hotel, although not fancy, is truly heimische. Pastries and tea, instant coffee and cold water are available 24 hours to guests. The breakfast consists of pastries, fruit, cheese and yogurt. There is within easy walking distance a Super Cofix, a small grocery store with fixed prices of only 5 NIS and sometimes 2 for 5 NIS (I bought 2 bottles of alcoholic fruit flavoured cider for 5 shekels). The hotel is also within walking distance to a Cofix Bar on Allenby where everything, including salads, sandwiches and cappuccinos, is 6 shekels.
There is no hotel elevator but those with limited mobility can stay on the first floor. The room was basic but clean. It could have used a chair but it had an air conditioner and one could open the window. It was very quiet. The hotel is very close to the beach and provides towels. I recommend paying for a lounge chair (12 shekels) if you are staying for a few hours on the beach. You can pay at a machine and then give it to the attendant. In all, I recommend the hotel.

Room had curtain rods partially hanging off the wall, sofa chair was stained, and table had some water damage. The room is fine for sleeping in, but you'll be very aware your in a slightly run down budget hotel. However, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is always free coffee and croissants in the lobby. Overall, I'd look at other places first, but it's not a bad choice. The location is great, very close to the caramel market and beach, but for the price you can get a much nicer room.

6 days at the blue marble

there is only 3 floors, so no elevator, My room was small, but I was alone and it was all I needed. There is a lot of traffic, and construction just across the street, nut they stop working at 6:30 and the noise stops. The hotel is a couple blocks from the beach and boardwalk with endless places to eat, drink, about 12 miles of beaches and if you like to walk, there are any number of interesting places to see by walking.

Hidden gem in amazing location

This was our second stay at the Blue Sea Marble, and we will be back. Location is the best in Tel Aviv--walking distance to key historical sites, Rothchild Blvd and Dizengoff Street, museums, and of course about 50 meters from the great Tel Aviv beaches. Nice little breakfast spread each morning. Not opulent, but for the price it is easily the best value in Tel Aviv, and maybe all of Israel.

Close to the beach

Very poor bathroom. It was very dirty and almost un useable. The toilet was so close to the sink that you had to sit sideways. The shower curtain was so dirt that you did not want to go for a shower.
There were so many things wrong that it will take a book to mention all.

Stay away

The hotel was dingy. The hot water didn't work in the morning but it was too hot at night..it was very tiny...the toilet seat wabbles every time you seat on it. There was little selection when it comes to the breakfast. The only thing great about the hotel is the walking distance from the beach..please don't be fooled, this hotel is not on the beach.

Excellent choice!

I've stayed in several places in TLV throughout the years and this was by far my best choice so far. Very close to the beach, rooms are small but clean and equipped with AC, and there is daily continental breakfast as well as coffee+ pastries serves throughout the day. The ladies at the reception are friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel close to the beach

I had the best holiday in years, made possible partly by the hotel reception staff (Helena and Ronin) who were friendly and informative, which was great as I was travelling alone. I spent time each day chatting with them, getting advice and learning about Israeli culture.

There is a new hotel being built opposite but I didn't notice the noise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's 3 star, clean, comfortable, in a good location and has everything you need.

Great area; right by beach. Walking distance to virtually everything. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Free breakfast. Parking lot +/- 100m away. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious (note: not USA spacious, but that goes without saying). Only downside: bathroom could have been cleaner.

Amazing staff!

My wife and I came in a little past midnight, starving, and willing to walk around to find the nearest place to eat.
There's a 7x24 coffee/tea and pastries, but the staff-on-duty (Lital) provided us fruits and even some local snacks and a very intelligent chat for the night. The next day, the staff-on-duty (Alina) did something similar to us . . . which tells us that the hospitality \"culture\" is there to help us have as comfortable experience as possible.

The facilities are supposedly 3-star, but the cleanliness, comfort, and staff make it more like a 4!

Definitely a place to stay next time we come back to Israel.

Great location, excellent staff

Alina, the front desk manager was very helpful. From allowing me to check in a bit early, lending me a phone charger, wake up calls, and allowing to move to a room with a better view at no extra charge, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was enjoyable. I'll definitely go back there on my next trip to Tel Aviv, and I suggest that you do the same!!!

Great location and extremely helpful staff!

Stayed here in Dec. 2015. Excellent location - right by the beach and walking distance to Carmel Market, Rothschild Blvd, Nichalat Binyamin and not far from Jaffa. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us navigate Tel Avid, finding tours, restaurants, things to do, etc. Really liked this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tel Aviv. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, but the location, staff and price cannot be beat.
