Staff is friendly and the location is perfect right across the plaza from Jerusalem beach.
But my room was very shabby and beat up. Maybe other rooms in the hotel are better but mine was more like a service room with beat up basic furniture. I’m need of major renovation.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel located in a perfect location for tourists. The beach is less than 200 meters from the front door. The rooftop/deck has beautiful views of the city, and the sunset is lovely to watch over the Mediterranean. The hotel’s staff is amazing, all of them. I strongly recommend this hotel!

I was delayed getting here from the Airport and they had already contacted me to give me the code to get into the door, so even if they were already gone for the evening, I was able to get in. The breakfast option is absolutely worth it as well. The staff has been wonderful, always willing to help, never annoyed bc I do not speak Hebrew. I strongly recommend this hotel!

I have been coming to this hotel for 10 years that should say it all right there. As always, the staff is incredible. The location is perfect right on the water plenty of restaurants and options for food like supermarkets within walking distance, a full service drug store within walking distance. When you stay here you’re treated like family.

They didn’t mention anything during reservations, The whole street was under construction very loud noises, bad traffic around, no customer service and not friendly staff, the rooms are very small specially the single room it’s smaller than solitary jail size, I don’t know why Expedia advertise this place, This place is not worth even $10 dollar a day, stay away from this place

Nothing like the pictures

Room wasn't ready until 4:30 on day of arrival. No elevators and no one to help with luggage. We are seniors and had to drag our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Rooms look nothing like the pictures on Hotels.com. No where to sit in the small room( no chairs) and one old chair on the balcony. The room was reasonably clean. Terrible bedding. The roof terrace looks nothing like the pictures. Just a mixed collection of tired old patio furniture that looked too dirty to sit on and a broken umbrella. The whole place is pretty tired but the location is good. Close to the beach and several restaurants. At the time we were there there is a big street construction project going on and we listened to back up beepers all night. No breakfast available. The girl at the front desk was very sweet . When we asked for a couple of chairs
the crabby old manager barked something in Hebrew that sounded like \"tell them to go #%*^ themselves\" but she told me to take a couple from the cafe area. To finish they forgot about our wakeup call the morning we left.

Only good for its location. Rooms are in decent condition but are absolutely tiny. no lift or staff to help carry your suitcases up 3/4 flights of stairs. Ordered 3 singles and instead got 1 single and 1 double. tiny bathroom. Understandably left the same day but after a lot of arguing to get money back was for some reason charged 3 nights worth.

The property was not as pictured. We did not stay. No elevator or staff to carry luggage up stairs, room was teeny and “balcony” was so small and over looked construction garbage area. Bathroom was so small, no tub and did not resemble the pictures not to mention would have been quite difficult for 2 in this room

Absolutely the cutest little hotel a block off of boardwalk. We had the room on 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the sea. Gorgeous view of both the sea and the bustle and hustle of Tel Aviv down below on the street.
Everything was very close by especially when renting the electric scooter.
The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. The bed was quite comfortable too.
The parking is offsite so it would have been nice if this info was provided on the Hotels site’s page as there is no where to idle when checking in (lots of construction all around)

Nice boutique hotel between Tel Aviv and Jaffe

The Bell Boutique is a nice little hotel in the southern end of Tel Aviv. It is a short block from the beach. The service was great - super friendly staff, especially Moshe when I arrived. The room was comfortable enough, with A/C working great - it was warm in the area, so A/C is a must. The bed was comfortable. All was super clean and nice.
There was road construction going on right next to the hotel, so figuring out how to get my stuff out of my rental car and into the hotel was a challenge.
Parking is off-site. About a block away. The map software got me there ok, but it was a roundabout drive. The parking garage was well-lit and clean and had a guard, it was in the basement of a neighboring building.
I had to pay extra for the parking. I thought it was included. Not that much, just $15, but a surprise.
The included breakfast was a voucher for a cafe about a block away. The food there was good, but again, not on site. This would have been good to know ahead of time.

Big issue: NO ELEVATOR. I was on the 2nd (aka 3rd) floor, and had to lug my bags for multi-week trip upstairs. This would be a big issue for some people.
NOT accessible friendly.
It is a \"boutique\" hotel, but the \"bell\" theme just wasn't there.
I nice place to stay away from hotel row, close enough to center of Tel Aviv, close to beach.
Oh, the roof-top lounge was nice in the evening.

Bucket list holiday!

This was a bucket list tick holiday to Tel Aviv Israel. The Bell boutique hotel didn’t let me down. Staff very friendly especially sunny on reception. Made me feel very welcome as travelling alone. Very clean and a perfect location. Would definitely recommend and I would stay again.

The only thing this week place has going for it is location.
I wrote a letter to the manager and have yet to receive a reply!

Attn. Manager.
We are writing in regards to our stay at Bell hotel this past weekend.
There were several issues with the room.
We complained several times but nobody did anything to correct the situation.
The issues were as as follows:
- Friday evening. I discovered that the shower was filthy with old collections of hair in it. The corner of the shower had a large chunk of sand.
We also reported the air conditioning as not working properly. Reception said they would check. Nothing done. We could sleep properly because of the noise.

Saturday we repeated the requests and were reassured everything would be taken care of. Nothing happened!!

Sunday morning my husband realized that the bathroom drain was plugged which explains the hair and other dirty things.
This is entirely unhygienic and serious particularly in these times.

As a travel writer I find this unacceptable and request that you refund us for one night at the Bell.

I have attached some photos and will expect a reply. Certainly hope I won’t have to take this complaint to Health Dept.

I was unfortunately deported from Israel due to a covid restriction which came into effect while I was travelling. I did not have suitable warning from the Israeli government. on my arrival to the airport no information was given to the travelers we were deported and put back on a plane with no network access. Once I landed in dubai and got internet access I contacted hotels.com to assist me in cancelling the hotel. The attempted to cancel the hotel booking. however the hotel did not answer the phone. i only managed to get the hotels email address when they replied to a google message. long story short the hotel charged ne for the full booking and are not willing to refund due to the circumstances. poor service

We ordered 2 rooms with friends. We arrived a little earlier than 3 days.
We were forced to take a walk first, and then sit exactly until 3, a minute per minute.
Besides us, 4 or 5 more couples were also sitting and waiting. Moreover, the rooms were ready, they were simply not occupied. The clerk at the reception just sat and talked to his friend. They began to populate at exactly 3 and look like they are doing a favor. The rooms themselves have not seen renovation for a long time. The cleanliness is poor. There was no toilet paper, so we had to go and get it ourselves.
We have been to this hotel 3 times before and since the location is good and there was always a good attitude and service. We won't come back here again

Ordered through hotels.com the price included all taxes. Actually filmed more 882 instead of 753 per room + 50 parking

I was given one toilet roll for three days, my bath/jacuzzi didn't work, and because I had booked a single room, my wife's sister wasn't allowed to sit in the building whilst I was packing my bag, she had to wait outside. That was awful service and so rude.

The location is ideal , just a couple steps from the beach and in the lively neighborhood up Allenby Street ....
The house has some knicks and knacks here or there ( it’s 100 years old ) , but has it’s charms . We had two rooms , both differently in style and decoration. Mine was a single , tiny , but very cozy and with a stunning bathroom/shower built in with moving glass walls/doors ....
The breakfast has to be mentioned : It was the best . Two local egg dishes , I think one was kind a chakchuca ( my fav) the other with veggies , eggs, bread, butter .... the usual . But the salad buffet was stunning . 8 to 10 fresh made salads ,local fare like couscous , a kind of tabuleh , tuna .... and every day something new or different . Two homemade cakes/loafs were standard , one morning we had kind of latkas with apple splits on it - yummy !!!!!
There is a spa downstairs in the hotel. We didn’t use it , but had a peek - very well appointed and clean .

I WOULD COME BACK !!!!

This is not a good choice for a hotel. There is no elevator, the rooms are dirty and run down, the building is very old and the service is terrible. We had bugs in our room and they gave us a bottle of bug spray... disgusting!!! They don’t even apologize for the bugs or offer to do anything about it other than give me a bottle of spray. Terrible.

The only good things about the hotel is the location and breakfast is surprisingly good.

I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Poor customer service, the pictures shown on expedia are all wrong! This place is old and dirty. There were bugs in the rooms, the sheets were stained and there was hair, dust, and bugs. The only good thing about it, is that it’s right next to the beach. Other than that, the pictures on Expedia are all wrong and expedia should take this listing down or provide actual pictures of what this place looks like. There breakfast was okay, but still not worth staying here. Parking is complicated because the staff says one thing and then changes their mind and says something else. Do yourself a favor Stay somewhere else.

Friendly. Good location. Comfortable. Kettle for coffee/tea and small refrigerator a plus. WiFi good. Room was very clean except for evidence of a previous toilet use. A previous user had flushed, but crap was still evident in toilet bowl. It took seven flushes to rid the remaining smear/stain. That was gross. Whoever cleaned the room before I arrived should have noticed this.

The gentleman at the front desk was superb! Truly, he took care of my worries and had me checked in quickly. I asked for my luggage to be held while I did a tour and when I arrived, I didn’t even have to worry about carrying my luggage- it was already placed in my room! It was so easy! And when I first got there, I wasn’t feeling well, so he had me drink some orange juice and got me some bread to combat my nausea. He’s the reason I didn’t have to throw up that morning. He truly went out of his way to give the best customer service, including arranging for a taxi drive to the airport upon my departure. I’m trying to remember his name but he was tall and skinny, handsome, and loves rap and loves everyone with positive vibes. God bless you, my friend! :)

No elevator and no breakfast for the cost of 350 shekels is too expensive. The taxi costs from hotel to the airport is 30 shekels more than when I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Obviously the hotel took that extra 30 shekels for themselves.

Bit disappointing...

Stayed in the hotel just for a night. The location is amazing, close to the beach and old town.
Rooms are small, but clean. Unfortunately the hotel seems old and dated. The bathroom was well equipped and clean however, I have noticed some lightbulbs were missing and pillows flat and uncomfortable. Staircase is narrow and difficult to navigate if you have large suitcases. I was disappointed with the service. I wasn’t offered help with luggage, climbing to the top floor and some members of the staff were absolutely rude. On some occasions arrogant. Do not expect the great customer service.
There is a very strange and strong smell in the lobby and corridors ( incense I guess ) that I didn’t like. Overall, location is great but hotel and customer service need some improvement.

Staff Simon Helpful ...only good thing was close to beach..the fault ls with the booking agent EXPEDIA our room was dirty hovel i have taken photos to back up my evidence ...And they are not nice !!! you need to Know the truth and not turn a blind eye ... on entering our room i could see this was not going to be a happy experience ..so i went and logged my complaint only to be told this is what i booked ..UM ..i dont think so...the on line photos of this site ..is pure fabrication if you look at the on line photos.. do not resemble the photos i have taken ...the fridge should not ever been in use ..it was a filthy and unhygienic with ingrained dirt in the rubber seals on the doors ..it was that thick door didnt close properly ...the shower was just as fiftly ...black dirty mould ....you will see this on photos too ....i went to the reception and complained ..of the fifty state ..housekeeping came and cleaned ..well attempted to clean it ...still not acceptable standard ..however 5% better but didnt clean inside shower and afew other places ..the room was supposed a double ...half a small wardrobe no proper draw space ....had to leave clothes in cases ...so double room ...NOT .. the so called balcony was just as dirty ..dirty table with stains on ..mess on chairs ...and the so called sun terrace ..again a joke ..yes fifty too ...when i get the photos down loaded to you i would like some answers ....i need you do something about this ..we only used this in the end to sleep ...

Great location but that’s about all. \n

Room was filthy. Hung something over the top of the dresser took it down with thick layers of dust. Too clearly has not been cleaned in possibly years!
Pillows and mattress were old and lumpy. Awful.

The hotel is located at a central intersection, there is a traffic noise, and under the room there is a store that had all night long loud music its made it impossible to sleep

Very nice hotel that was affordable and so close to the beach! Spa services were reasonably priced, breakfast included and expansive. Only negative to mention is that the room was small, but well worth the other conveniences!
