Overall we had a great time. We stayed here for a full week and loved the pools, the spa, the beach bed setup and the beach itself. We had the VIP wristbands but needed to be \"members\" to eat anywhere else on the resort which is massive. So with just the buffet, the food was very medicore. Also, nothing is explained to you about what you do or don't have access to on the property which is difficult, you have to ask a lot of questions. The beach area for VIPs had a sushi bar which was VERY good so I ate that for the most part. A big disappointment was that the whole week we were there, our shower was very cold and sometimes didn't even turn on at all. One night the power was out and we were all eating in the dark. Another minor issue was our room did not come with a TV remote and we requested one about 5 times and never got one. Besides those issues, rooms were clean and everyone working was super nice. If you stay here, walk down the beach and you'll find some guys in a shop that you can book excursions through, I recommned using them since they are local guys and will take care of you your whole trip! Ask for Anthony.

Accommodation was run down, rooms, very few restaurants to pick from, even one was shut down for the season, weird (if you were VIP and owned the $250,000 villas you got 20 or more restaurants to use), nothing left in fridge daily and no one will bring any only water. Rooms were kept very clean. waiting for a ride to the pools and to get meals was unreal, had to wait minimum 15 minutes and up to an hour, they rides were always at the VIP areas. workers at the swim up and meal places were the best, happy, always filling up your drink, if you didn't see something you wanted, they would go and see if they could find it for you. beach was small and very dirty, had lots of garbage that was never cleaned. we took photos of all the resort. Airconditioning went 3 times where we were there and the power also went a few times, even while we were at a restaurant. swim up pools were dirty with tree branches and leaves in them for days. Weekends were the worst for transportation/shuttles, over an hour to wait, we could have walked if we didn't have a senior with us who just had hip surgery. way to many stairs for someone with a disability. The roof palms needed repair, half the roofs had no coverage. Garbage was under balconys with mold growing on the underside, they were painting to cover it up

The check-in process was a bit tedious, but that was due to Expedia, not the hotel. To keep a positive experience, the hotel staff was very kind and upgraded us to a beautiful room. We were a family of four, including a 7-year-old child, and each of us had our own bed and private bathroom, which was excellent.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the waiters, and especially the bar staff. The entertainment was excellent; the girl who organized the karaoke had great charisma and energy.

The weather was on our side, with sunny days throughout our stay. The food at the Blue Lagoon restaurant was delicious . we absolutely loved it.

The entire resort staff is humble, respectful, and very kind.

Recommendations:
•I didn’t really like the “guagua” shuttle; I think a large golf cart would look better and feel more comfortable.
•At the bars, drinks were often served in plastic cups, which takes away from the presentation. However, at the beach they used nicer cups, and we were able to take great photos there.

I stayed at the same hotel multiple times, ranging from the lifestyle presidential suite to the lifestyle crown. Overall, my experience was positive, although I don’t plan to return for a while. The menu offerings at the resort were quite repetitive, with minimal variation during my week-long stay, which made dining less exciting. The restaurants I visited were decent; the steakhouse stood out as the best option due to its quality and variety. The bar was quite average, serving typical drinks and limited atmosphere. However, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service at the spa. I was able to book two different treatments—such as a deep tissue massage and a hydrating facial—and the staff consistently provided professional and friendly service. If I were to award five stars to the resort, it would be primarily for the outstanding spa experience and attentive staff.

The place was ok. The food was good, the room was so so, hard bed & lumpy pillows. The property was kept up but people just leave their trash everywhere. The everyday staff, bartender Jose at the dessert bar was amazing, housekeepers, waitstaff, were all superb. Always smiling and friendly. There is a lot of selling going on. There are timeshares for sale. We were asked several times to take a tour and we declined. There are people waiting in front of the CASABLANCA buffet waiting to sell you things. It’s constant. There is always someone asking to show you something. Within an hour of getting to our rooms, we had 2, we were approached by 2 spa appointment seekers and we booked 3 massages, in front of our rooms and paid cash. That night one in our party fell and hurt their toe. I went to the spa the next morning to cancel and was told that I couldn't get a refund. That the money left the property and that I could either book the massages at a later day of the week, get a credit for 320$ of product or get a certificate to use whenever I returned. I wanted a refund and was told for 3 consecutive days that I couldn’t get one. There is nothing anywhere that states cash cannot be refunded. We booked this on Saturday, canceled on Sunday and was told on Wednesday after days of insisting only a refund was acceptable, to return Friday for the refund. It was like the money was being kept hostage and in the end I only got it back in my hands at 11am while checking out on Saturday. 👎

Our stay here was very good, the animation in the Pilon area (karaoke) with Julio Cesar Nice was spectacular and made us feel right at home. Special shoutout to the waiters at the Pilon area too. The only downside is that the resort has no food varieties and my family and I were expecting more.

I rented 2 rooms for my family, one of them was fine, but the one I had to sleep in had ants in it, the air conditioning broke down which made my baby not sleep the whole night, much less us, on one occasion my wife stayed brushing her teeth and on another occasion I was left with soap on my head because the water was out, the other services were fine, but at least the apartment I had was not 100% ready for rent.

The property iz nice, but the front desk service was horrible. Once i arrived to the resort, my itinerary had changed without me knowing. I went to the other check in place and they were only two workers behind the desk attending many customers that had just arrived at the resort or guest that were already there. I waited over 45 minutes in the lobby before i was seen. Mind you it HOT inside of the resort and i was getting very aggie. They should have had more workers assisting with the influx of customers at this time (check in times).

There wasn’t much that we liked on this property. Our AC wasn’t working and they took more than 4 hours of supposedly fixing it to then switch my room. The next room they switch us to was old and super outdated. They refused to accommodate me and my family for a proper dinner. The staff wasn’t very helpful. You have to pay for everything even the smallest things. Something provided by every hotel and resort like a safe to keep your valuables, you have to pay for. First and last time I go there. And I will never recommend it to anyone

Property administration only focus on you to become vip member which you have to spend literally above 200,000 dollars for something that it will never be yours and will be used by someone at your same level. They have different level which they make you feel uncomfortable for you to keep upgrading and obviously that means more money on top of what you already spent.
People who are not VIP don’t even try. They have 4 resorts in one in which you have to wait for a shuttle to move between hotels because the restaurants are divided between hotels. Not to mention the beach is so far and most likely for VIP members.
Food is okay. One of the day it was no water and I have to wait to the afternoon to get clean towels. You have to pay an extra fee for the safe box. There is no room service.
If you want to have a good time avoid this hotel at all causes.

No WiFi for “all inclusive”

I was really disappointed with my experience at this resort. For a place that claims to be all-inclusive, there was absolutely no working Wi-Fi available. Even when we tried to pay for it, it was expensive and still didn’t work properly which made things incredibly frustrating.

On top of that, the staff constantly pressured us to upgrade to a “premium package” and even forced us to sit through a one hour tour of the premium villas, which felt like a sales pitch more than anything else.

The room was nice though.

Disappointing stay, choose somewhere else. Where do I begin?…. The beach isn’t very accessible, I didn’t see anyone in the water during the time I was there. The beach chairs and beach beds are set up two levels up away from the beach (strange set up). The food in the buffets was pretty bad and they made it as difficult as possible to make reservations at the sit down restaurants (you had to go to the lobby between 9-11am the day of, couldn’t make reservations in advance). The one day that I tried I got there at 9:15am and the only dinner time they had available was 9pm seating.
We lost water in our unit for a few hours, found a huge dead roach… lots of locals stay there for the weekend so it got a little crowded in the pools.
Huge property, not accessible… just bad all around.

As a caution, I share the following paragraph. I booked our hotel rooms under the name I use, Larry. My ID says Laurence and they would not let me check in, although I had already paid for the rooms. After 90 minutes I was able to contact Hotels.com through their online chat and get them to change the name on the reservation and we were allowed to check in. Make sure your reservation matches your ID.

I do not write this out of anger. I'm not mad about it.
I just want you to take the reviews seriously.
We stayed at the lifestyle crown and residence suites: all inclusive

It is not all inclusive.
The WiFi was 45$ a week per user
in certain parts of the place you can drink and eat to your heart's content ... But these places are not easily accessible.
There are 29 restaurants or so. But you can only use about 6.
Unless... You buy into the timeshare. Here, they don't let you enjoy the place unless you buy in.
We took a tour: 3 hours.
Definite push to buy in at a mere 25,000-300,000.
Everything is far away. This is a large resort. The dinner buffet is \"within walking distance\" like 30 min walk.
So there is a shuttle.
We went to the pickup place, ppl had been waiting for the shuttle for an hour..to go to dinner. Adults crying. It comes by every 25 min according to the hotel

This same bus takes you to the beach...you are allowed to go to two of them. It is far away. A very long walk.
The tour showed us the ones we couldnt go to. You don't need to worry about how far away the other activities are.. You're not allowed to go to them.
The beach smelled like a sewer, there was literally sewer water flowing through the sand to the ocean. \"Aguas negras\"
After seeing what it really offered. No way would I buy in.

The grounds are beautiful, the restaurants and staff were excellent. We paid for WiFi for three phones and had no WiFi. They did give us a refund . I had an amazing massage with Paula and when I went to the steam room it was absolutely filthy and so were the showers.
Now restaurants, overall staff and housekeeping were wonderful.
I was very unhappy with the beach at this location. The sand was not clean and it was super rocky . I was glad that the area by the beach h had jacuzzis.

This is my first time booking a non-VIP package and it was not a good experience. Most of the amenities cater to members, chairmans and owners. Something as simple as a cone of icecream. Since it was raining, there wasn't any activities nor entertainments for non-VIP guests. I could not get into any of the restaurants for dinner because the booking caters to the above listed and to those certain agencies. In the 7 days of our stay, we were able to get a dinner reservation for a Mexican restaurant in the premises and the 3 of us got sick. The last 2 days of our stay were not pleasant. Also, we did not have a working phone in our room, which I reported upon checking in. The front desk said they were going to send a technician to fix it and no one ever showed up. If we need anything, we had to go in person to the front desk and wait in line. The resort is gorgeous and it's location, the staff is very professional and friendly. Would I stay there again? Not for 7 days. Maybe I would stay for 2-3 days. I have been recommending this resort for years to friends, family and co-workers. I really would like to see some improvements in what is offeres to those with a regular package.

This is my second time at a lifestyle resort. At check in I had to carry my own bags In the rain, the had no umbrellas available for guest. I was given the option to go purchase one at the gift shop in a different lifestyle resort. Some of the staff need to be better training on providing customer service specially at the pool bar .I will not visit any lifestyle resort and will definitely will sharing my experience with family and friends .

First stay at this location and first at \"Lifestyle\" properties. This was an outstanding place to stay, wife and me. Is a gated community with private home villas, rooms, suites, many pools, bars, casino, and stadium that has daily night shows (not great). The staff was overall very friendly and courteous. The only downside is that you have to catch transportation, free shuttle, to get to the different places within this huge facility. The beach area is very rocky. We stayed 1-3 April 20225, and the sea was very rough with high waves, maybe due to the time of year. The suites, are awesome, super big, clean and A/C extremely cold. The bars are kind of poor on drink selection but they do try to accommodate all the orders. In short, we wills stay again and I recommend this stay.

We had a beautiful renovated room, very spacious, double sinks and a huge balcony. The a la carts were all delicious, loved the Italian but all were good. The staff are so nice everywhere you go, can't ask for better service. There are 13 pools to choose from, all have bar service, the spa pool is quiet and lovely. We will be going back! We had a great time. It is a huge resort and a lot of walking but shuttles are available and take you where to you need to go. The resort is very safe, the casino is fun at night and open until 2. Most bars close at 11 or 12. You can't go wrong with this resort.

They need.to train their Shuttle Drivers..to be nicer to the hotel guests...that not tip..Tip is an option..also the wooden chairs at one of the restaurants..need..sliders..which is not expensive.and will reduce the noise .that gives a head ache. to the guests...also a couple of nights they run out of white wine....and No solution to the problem...some one has to have a key to get it.....Also they need a Wine and liquor Menu..that the guests ,that are not members could order..at a charge since the liqour and wine of the all inclusive.offer it's not of prime quality...the food is fine..but could be a more varied menu...Yes l would come back...but need those adjustments...thank you

We purchased a 2 bedroom suite and was bumped to a regular room with 2 beds and a shower a foot from one of the beds. Had to pay for a safe and ii broke. our stuff was locked in it for 2 days before they opened it this was after 7 calls and 2 face to face in counters with the front desk before they got it opened. Waited about 6 hours of our vacation for them to finally get it open. Could only make reservations for 2 nights to eat at a restaurant they said the other 3 nights were booked. I was very disappointed with this resort and the way we were treated. I will never go back or recommend this place.

We liked the size of the room a 1 bedroom suite with a balcony plenty of room for 2 only thing that we were not happy with was as soon as we checked in a couple barged in with access but staff responded immediately explaining that it was a mistake on their part and apologized for inconvenience.transportation was a bit delayed but we did get to use it and was convenient. The one thing we were not pleased with was the beach not much sand wasn’t the the most pleasurable we’ve been to better beaches.

Overall was good. Food options were very good. In some restaurants food can improve, fish options can be better, in most restaurants will offer salmon and dorado . For the spa the massage that I got and other service they offer , are a little over price in my estimation and the biggest complaint that we have about the whole resort , they have no discotec for people to dance. The one sports bar with a DJ. Friday's only it's not enough,plus you can't dance over carpet. The one vip lounge that they have with music members only \" you have to be a property owner, to be able to enter. That is so unfair and unfortunate after you pay for all inclusive., other than that my wife and I had a good time ,staff very friendly, our suite was clean , quiet and the property and facilities were very good. We'll be back when they open a real club or disco to go have fun at night after dining .

Fraudulent, horrible experience.

This establishment is a fraud. I booked and paid for an apartment with king bed and kitchen. They gave away my room and gave me a room with a broken bed, dirty and no hot water, safety lock on the door was broken. The safe had a hole in it and had to pay for it daily. No compensation at all. I will never be back.
This was a horrible experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff & people in general are so kind & helpful. Property is beautiful & new & updated. Many restaurants to choose from. Lovely cabanas to lounge on all day if wanted. I def did. The only cons, the aggressive salesmen trying to sell u a full time spot on the first morning of our arrival (5am). Never relented. And WiFi… in 2025 should not cost $7 a hour.. if anything at all. Reception is limited - so put down your phone. Or pay up. But these were mere annoyances. Coco tours does transport to the hotel for $47 which is better than the $150 one way we were initially quoted. Check it out.

This isn't a true all-inclusive resort as it is a TIMESHARE; you have VERY limited access to facilities unless you become a member; you have to sit through their sales pitch and they are quite aggressive and annoyed once they realize you aren't going to sign up, after hours of trying to get out of it. The vast majority of the staff were wonderful. There was 1 buffet for us to eat at the entire time -even though advertised as 11 restaurants in the description, we could use 2 pool areas out of 11 and access to 2 beach lounge areas. Pools and beach areas close at 6pm. The gym and hot tub/sauna/steam room were only able to use if we booked spa services. Kids couldn't get ice cream at the ice cream place because we were not members. Did not get the room that we booked, was supposed to be a 1 room - 2 bedroom unit, got there and were given 1 room with 2 double beds in it. The hotel ended up giving us 2 rooms for my family, not adjoining rooms, the kids ended up in 1 room and us in the other. If you want wifi, it is terrible and also $25USD per day, in room safe is $3USD per day. Go to the beach to do excursions, there are locals with huts, very friendly and helpful. Would I go back? no - because it is a time share. If non members got all the perks during their stay as suggested in the description, then I probably would.

- Shuttle frequency to move to other parts of the property is less -There is no alternate transportation unless you are a member
- There are a bunch of Golf carts which they won’t even rent . We requested to rent it was told it is for Members only
- The pool near the lifestyle crown residence were not accessible during our stay
- No food court/ snack bar in crown residence area . Be prepared to walk for snack or food
- Felt the discrimination between Member and Non members
- Getting dinner reservations in restaurants is challenging

I need my money back
They didn't even give me my room at Crown Residence and they sent me to ask how everything was during my stay. After they threw them into other rooms, they lied to us and separated us all. We paid for apartments and they gave us separate rooms. I had to leave my children alone and the day before they changed my room to say that I was in Crown Residence. On top of that, there were animals in the apartment. I have stayed there 4 times and this has never happened to me. I always recommended Lifestyle to all my friends, but this time I am not going back.

My experience at this hotel was extremely unpleasant. I booked and paid for a suite at the Crown Presidential, but I was moved to the Tropicana without any explanation. The apartment I was given was small, the rooms smelled musty, and it did not meet the promised standards.

In addition, we had to endure an unacceptable situation:

•At midnight, my children had to be moved to another room because the door fell off.
•There was no light in the shower and no hot water.
•We found insects in the room, which was completely unacceptable.

We paid for a quality experience and received terrible service instead. I am requesting a full refund, as what we received was far from what was advertised. I do not recommend this place at all.

During Thanksgiving most of the pools were closed. Our kids in the group were asked to get out of the pool during the afternoon. This was the pool outside the crown residence room were we stayed.

Food quality is sub standard. Not an international cuisine property. Limited drinks, only if you are a member there may be high bar or else it’s just wine, beer and cheap cocktails.

Waiters and kitchen staff is awesome and they are innocent. Front desk did a good job, but they are bound by management instructions.

Overall average property, but ok if you doing a short vacation. Lots of improvements needed by the management to attract good crowd !

When I got there on the first day of my trip the television was not working, I reported it to the front desk. It took six days for them to repair the television. Some of the open buffets I was not able to go to , because I was not a member of the faculty. They tried to sell me a membership, but I believe if you want to sell me a membership , i should experience the whole facility first.

Poor Reservation Experience

When I made the reservation, there was a button indicating adults and children. In the children's section, it states ages 1 to 17 years. My daughter is 13, so I reserved under that category. However, when I arrived at the reception, they told me that it was reserved for a child under 3 years old, and that if I didn’t pay, my daughter couldn’t enter. Under those conditions, it felt like a scam. It was super frustrating!

In the end, they didn’t care, and it was made clear that if I didn’t pay, my daughter wouldn’t be allowed in, so I had to pay, as they just didn’t understand reason—seemed like robots!

The internet you get for 1 hour is terrible; you can’t use anything!

The VIP beach area is very nice, and the staff are very friendly; it’s the best place to relax.

But due to this misunderstanding, I wouldn’t recommend it, since you end up paying extra.

This property does not tell you are the areas that are under construction. So most of everything that is happening is in two different places. So staff are rude. There’s a lot of miscommunication. Staff in the dining areas are wonderful as well as staff at the bars. Not too much of a night life if you are looking for one. Companies who are trying to sale things are harassing you most times. It feels like a tug a war. Services on the beach that are locals are not great like for example the henna paid 40 dollars and it came off in an hour. ATVs were okay.
