The hotel is in a great location. But it is a bit run down. The noise coming from other rooms, such as when another guest flushed a toilet, was quite loud. I had to ask for soap. Parts of the shower fitting came loose while it was being operated. There was a water leak in the hallway, and an odour.

Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the Premium Price

Our recent stay was unfortunately well below expectations.

At 3 AM, we were awakened by excessive noise from the adjacent room - a group of guests having a loud party with music at full volume. While the front desk staff did respond after several attempts to contact them, their handling of the situation was ineffective. Instead of properly addressing the disturbance, they merely made a polite request to lower the noise. Predictably, the party resumed at full volume within 10 minutes.

Only after a second complaint and more forceful intervention did the situation improve, but by then it was already 4 AM before we could finally get some sleep.

Additionally, we discovered a severe plumbing issue with the sink leaking significantly, causing water to flood across the floor of our room.

When addressing these issues with management the following morning, we received only a basic apology with no offer of compensation or resolution for our severely disrupted night.

For a hotel charging premium rates, this level of service and problem management is unacceptable. The combination of ineffective noise control, maintenance issues, and poor resolution of guest complaints makes it impossible to recommend this property.

This place is only worth booking if you're looking at the higher end rooms. I initially booked a \"classic room\" and had a very bad experience. The room was hot (even with AC maxed out), I saw several cockroaches in my room, and there was even a water leak. After the leak, concierge transferred me to a nicer room which made the experience much better. With that said, the hotel is quite tacky and unkept. It's also surrounded by construction projects.

But all the area within the hotel is total darkness, it’s scary how dark it is.
Bathroom not the most modern or comfortable.
Price is good, but I don’t think I’ll come back for another stay.

Stayed here 3 nights in the jacuzzi suite enjoyed every bit of it , although parking is a bit of a hassle and privacy around the jacuzzi can be better but I still had a great time and very comfortable stay, the shore is a 5-10 minute walk and plenty of convenient store and restaurants nearby.

Hotel is pretty cool. Nice decor. Shame about the construction works right outside. We were initially given a terrible room right above the bar area which was very noisy. We asked to be moved to a quieter room. Air conditioning did not work properly and it was uncomfortable at night when the temperatures was 30degrees. Reception staff were generally helpful but concierge were unhelpful.

This area was under serious street construction which is common for Expedia: they will often book rooms on sides where active construction is ongoing offering a “discount.” Thankfully it was a light work crew barely heard them. Breakfast is excellent! Bravo 5th floor! I recommend it for this experience alone. Bed, linen, towels, overall cleanliness a ten! They provide towels for the beach which is very close by. Staff was hospitable- good team of people. FYI: Black bathrooms/decor seem to be a thing in Israel.

Great staff let down by neglected hotel building

We were looking forward to staying here for our honeymoon as its in a great location and the site showcased the 18th floor bar and rooftop sun deck with panoramic views. Sadly it has been closed for sometime. The gym and sauna in the basement level were unpleasant with no working escalators.
The hotel corridors were dark to a point of being unsafe. This might be useful in masking all sorts of neglected maintenance. The lift music was far too loud.
Rooms could do with more surface space and the windows need cleaning.
The staff including the manager tried hard to offer good service, however the building is tired and seems to be neglected by the Brown hotel group. It is need of a complete renovation to bring it up to standards.
Also, the facilities guide needs to be updated to reflect the parts that are not open and pictures reviewed as it is misleading.
Definitely not worth the room rate and we would never again stay at a Brown Hotel based on how they have neglected this hotel.

This was an appalling stay and had very few redeeming features. Despite looking glossy online this hotel is grubby and in need of a refurbishment. Most of the hotel is covered in thick black paint which makes it very difficult to see anything - our room never felt clean. The rug had a range of cigarette burn marks and the bathroom was covered in limescale. There is nowhere practical in the room to store cases or put clothes. The shower fluctuated between extreme cold and hot water. The Wi-Fi was flaky. The hotel also felt unsafe. Rooms do not have a spyhole and there is no chain. Anyone can enter the lifts and in fact the hotel is shared with a number of business and the French Consul. We had an exceptionally disturbed stay with the people in the next door room shouting, swearing, banging walls and furniture and partying until the early hours. We were told these people were then removed by the hotel after we reach out the hotel. There was no attempt by the hotel to proactively apologise or check that we were ok. As compensation were given a free massage in the spa. This was disappointing. The spa is down some filthy escalators and is itself grubby. The rooftop bar is non existent. And there’s nowhere to relax aside from two loungers and an odd jacuzzi on the fifth floor. Breakfast is random. On some days there’s a menu to order from, and some days there isn’t. The hotel is just an okay hotel.. not more. The rooms are not so comfortable. The one in the high floors has a very noisy toilets, like in an airplane, it was horrible. the tub is too high and dangerous, the hotel is too dark, designed in black and has almost zero light. still you can notice it's not very clean - not in the corridors and in the rooms you can see it needs fixing - not a good job of design and fixes.
Breakfast was good.
Staff was nice, however, most were not Hebrew speakers....
Location is problematic - too many constructions.
overall - not our type of hotel to return to. sorry.

good location although currently there is construction outside for the new rail system. The room was small and dirty with dust built up everywhere. Housekeeping was pathetic. they just remake the bed without changing the sheets. They don't clean or throw out garbage. I had to place empty bottles on the floor by the door the last day to get them removed.

Great location, Amazing manager

A hidden gem in the best part of Tel Aviv.
2-minute walk to the beach, 5-minute walk to the shuk, and pretty much a walking distance from the best parts of the city.
We had a great experience staying there with our 1-year-old.
But above all, it was the hotel manager Avi that went above and beyond to accommodate and help with every little thing we needed. It felt like Avi was there around the clock at all times. It's amazing how exceptional service can make a vacation so much better. Thank you guys!

I really like the decor and furnishings. It was modern and trendy in a Shabby Chic manner. The terrace where breakfast is served is great.
However, I was concerned with the lack of cleanliness in the room. The back of the television was covered in a very thick layer of dust. I had to plug in the HDMI cable because it was unplugged and I must admit it shocked me. Like it had never been cleaned. Also there was some previous guests hair tie on the floor. Small things but indicstors of a lack of attention to cleanliness.

The hotel is centrally located and nicely decorated. My main issue was the staff and the poorly equipped room.
We had no mini bar and were offered 2 soda bottles in our room. We called the front desk around 11pm asking for water and the guy told us they don't have any. Shocked, we asked again, saying we really need water, and the guy got angry at us and said \"do you not understand? I don't have water. Wait for the morning\".
I had no choice so I left the hotel to buy water. In the morning, I called again, around 10am, to ask for water, and the response was \"room service only opens at 11am. We don't have any water\".
A complete joke.

Very disappointed with this hotel, the reception staff we’re extremely slow and quite rude and we were waiting a very long time to check in. I upgraded prior to arrival to a room with a bath tub, when we checked in none were available so the upgrade was pointless. The hotel is dark, the roof terrace was closed and the facilities were poor. We stayed in an executive suite but there was nothing special about the room, it wasn’t very clean and the shower was small. The road noise was terrible too, luckily we were tired from travelling and managed to get some sleep. This hotel definitely isn’t worth the money they are charging, I wouldn’t stay again or recommend!

I was disappointed in how this hotel differed in real life in comparison to the photos. The entry to hotel was dark and hard to see. Reception was not ready with room. And the photos indicated there was a pool which was a big reason why I booked a family suite, as my kids wanted a pool. There was no pool. And the rooftop hot tub, was filled with cold water and some one else’s remains of a good time. There was literally food in the tub!

My suite was not sweet at all. It was at a dingy end of a hall near a few utility closets. With a dirty carpet leading to the door. Even my kids kept commenting on how underwhelmed they were, which is unusual for kids. They’re usually too busy with their phones and kid stuff to notice. I worked hard and was willing to spend to enjoy this stay at the Lighthouse but I felt duped. The staff was cold and unfriendly. This was truly a disappointment.

Very nice hotel with great location

I stayed with my two girls for one night. Our room was comfortable and clean. The view was great location is very good. Hallway to the room is very dark and a bit scary. Breakfast was wonderful. I had mentioned before we arrived that it was my doughters birthday but they didn’t mention it. We parked very close to the hotel for 24 hrs we paid 120 nis Reception were very kind. There were gummy bears and drinks for free on check in which was very nice.

Terrace Room has no privacy

I booked the terrace Room for my partner's birthday. What I didn't see in the pictures is the lack of privacy, with full visibility from neighbouring rooms, which I refused to accept. Manager was very kind but couldn't find a similar room with privacy. I will not visit this hotel again.

Checkin and checkout was always a disaster, long lines that blocked the passageway. Rooms were never ready, so they stored luggage, but no consierge available to get the luggage, so another long line to wait. our luggage was split into 2 rooms! So we walked bavk and forth with our retrieved luggage, panicked to find our missing bags!Dead plants everywhere because the hallways were painted black, black carpet, windows blacked out by black curtains, staff in black,very dim lighting, dingy. The room was nice but noisy with water noises and could hear anyone that walked by. It was the first hotel that did not have an electric kettle/tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was the most expensive I've ever encountered in hotels, and I've been in luxury hotels. The parking is paid at the front desk but you need to call the attendant to lift the gate...more waiting. The elevator is weird, you type your floor number before you get on, so its tricky when multiple people ate waiting to go to different floors. The roof!! All I wanted was the roof, figuring, they can't screw that up! The elevator wouldn't go to the roof. I could've asked why, but that would have been a 45minute wait in the lobby, crowded with other angry guests. A prior guest wrote on the dusty wall around the tv a very provocative statement..selective cleaning.

Stay away from the Urban Balcony rooms

Stayed for 1 Friday night as a couple.
Very small room, too small for this price even though the room is branded urban you would still expect a bigger room.
The room advertised as coulple+baby accomodation but it is so small you can't even properly open the closet door(blocked by the bed).
There's a single chair in a room, good luck finding a place that is not blocking access to some part of the room.
No sitting area, no table inside the room (besides one bedside small table) so you practically can sit on the bed or balcony, no real space inside the room. It is barely a single room that can accomodate a coulple that travels 1-2 nights, not more than that.
The room was advertised as having a Marshall BT speaker but it wasn't in the room and I needed to request it specifically from the reception.
On the positive side:
Good breakfast, good service, nice styling and good location.
The building itself is old and requires maintenance.
Overall score 3.5/5
Main takeaway - Brown has much better hotels in Tel Aviv, pick any other and avoid staying in Brown Lighthouse of you intend to spend in the room more than 15 mins a day as a couple.

Maybe other rooms have better spacing (doubt it)

cool hotel . Half the jacuzzi rooms back onto the outside deck for all the hotel meaning people are staring into your room and hot tub terrace- not the privacy you expect and not shown in the photos at all . I knew this already as I live in Tel Aviv but the hotel is listed with a pool which people should know there is not, there is a communal hot tub. On either side of the terraces there is an open link metal gate seperation between the other terraces meaning you may as well be in a jacuzzi with the person in the room next to you as well as all the people looking in from the Deck. As I said cool hotel, nicely decorated, super comfy bed Just huge disapointment re privacy when paying for a luxury room with Hot tub.

I initially arrived to Lighthouse with a tour group for the first 2 nights. We were greeted with sparkling wine, fruit and sweets. I had a corner room on the 15th floor which was large and an amazing view. For breakfast guests have an option to order from a menu or buffet or both. The food was great.

For the 3rd night I booked a room with a hot tub. This was not worth the extra money. The room was very small in comparison to the corner room and overlooked the dinner room; therefore, there was no privacy and everyone could see you in the hot tub and into your room. I ended up requesting a new room.

Overall this is a great hotel to stay at.

Unfortunately I was really dispointed with my stay at the Lighthouse.
We were suppose to 6 nights but after the 3rd night we left to an other hotel. Here is a list of issues:

1. We weren't able to sleep because of the noise. It sounded like there was a washing machine above our room. It was very loud. (see attached video where you can hear the noise. We actually discovered it was a water pump which I also attached a picture)it made it impossible to sleep.

2. On the second day there was no running water. We weren't able to take a shower and we had a wedding to attend.

3. I asked front desk for a clothing iron. A maid broth it up to our room. When she knocked on the door she did not say one word not even a smile. The iron had too much water so she emptied it on the floor in front of the room gave it to me and then left.

4. The hotel seemed like it was under construction. And that's totally fine but the hallways of the hotel were dirty with footsepts everywhere. Ive never seen that at a hotel. (see attached picture)

5. On the first day of our stay I had to repair the shower head by myself also the cleaning crew did not clean the room until 4pm. Additionally the room was not properly cleaned on any of the days we were there.

6. When I went to have breakfast at the restaurant the host sat me at a table. No-one came to take my order so I got up thinking that I had to order at the front desk. I asked the host where I should order and she was very rude!

Bravo Brown!

The hotel is in a great area in Ben Yehuda Street, close to the beaches, to Dizgenhoff Square, to Rabin Square. It is beautifully decorated, the service is amazing. They make you feel pampered and in a super cool place. They provide bikes, beach towels, taxis, anything you might need.
Food is delicious.
Linens and bedroom sizes are great and so is water pressure in the showers.
All in all a big bravo for Brown Hotels!

Beautiful hotel in a very good location, the towels were not clean and soft. Too bad there is no consideration for a parking lot across the road, the cost of a parking lot is very high

5 star service, modern vibe hotel.

Incredible hotel. Great location. Very cool modern decor. Service that i’ve never experienced before. Tour of the hotel, choice of upgrade if we wanted and shown the rooms first before we decided to pay extra or not. Complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and the throughout the trip. Bottle of wine, chocolates & fruit complimentary to the room. Excellent local advice for food & tours. Amazing terrace for breakfast. 160 shekels taxi to the airport (€40/$45). Really friendly & helpful staff.

Stylish hotel with lots of nice little touches. Excellent service. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Don’t miss the breakfast buffet! One of the best I’ve had and served in a beautiful indoor/outdoor terraced garden space! Enjoyed the roof deck spa tub too after a long day walking and sightseeing!

Location, service, and breakfast were amazing. This spot is highly recommended. The added bonus was the bicycle included with the room. It was super fun to explore on a bike!

Good location art deco hotel

The hotel is located in a central area and close to good restaurants and the beach. Our room was on the 16th floor and there is a water tank or something on the 17th floor which made noise. The walls are also not very soundproof and the hotel in general are very dark. The service was good and a few extra touches like wine and chocolate were delivered to our room, which was great.

I love every Brown property I stay in and the Lighthouse is one of the best. Lingering over breakfast for two hours on a perfect patio, excellent showers and a wonderful staff. I'll continue to return.

Our stay was amazing, first night we stayed in a room that was pretty noisy. The staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and a different room was a ready within the blink of an eye. The hotel looks, hip, nice and the rooftopbar is a pearl!

Great service, good location

Hotel is in good location a couple blocks from the beach. More of a chic, modern vibe. We were traveling with our 10 mo baby, not their target demo, but staff was really helpful in helping us get setup, luggage, crib, etc.

Hands down to the best customer service I've ever had.
I originally booked 4 nights and ended up staying for a whole week! Hotel Staff is always with a smile and extremely accommodating.
I had a minor issue and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy..
A big thank you to all of you, from the front desk to the ceo.
Breakfast was incredible.
Location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach.. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back on my next trip to Israel.
