The staff at Maxim are professional and attentive. The lobby and lounge area is bright, well-lit, and nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent in every way. The round-the-clock beverages, snacks in the lobby are very good. The happy hour and homemade soup are excellent. The rooftop is beautifully decorated, with a garden and pond. The views are outstanding. The location of the hotel is directly across from the ocean and walking distance to tons of places of interest, restaurants, bistros, grocery stores, etc. The location is A++. My room had an ocean view, which was gorgeous. The room was very small, but had everything I needed. It had a safe, a closet with plenty of hangers, fridge, coffee/tea maker, two bottles of water upon greeting, the bathroom was well appointed, very good toiletries, the shower worked great, the water was hot, the towels were soft and clean, the bed was comfortable with crisp sheets, black-out curtains, the staff cleaned and tidied the room each day very well.
