I was a little unsure about this resort when I first arrived but ended up not wanting to leave! It was so cute and peaceful. My only issue was the air conditioning, it wasn't quite as cool as I would have liked but that is my personal preference, would I stay here again? Absolutely 100%. A hidden gem, so happy I found it. Fantastic size balcony compared to other places I have stayed. Beautiful pool, huge fridge. A great find!!

My first stay. Located centrally for bars and restaurants. Very quiet and clean. Very nice pool and patios for relaxing. Room facilities are basic.

Staff pleasant, helpful and laid back

Lots of people stay for long periods of time.

Would I stay again? Yes!!

Oasis of perfection for me!

A complete oasis of calm. Such a beautiful, kind family running La-Or, welcoming, attentive. Very clean, big bungalows, well located but still quiet. Perfect pool, all perfect. I'd go back!!

Stayed here with family after we had spent a few days in Bangkok. The hotel turned out to be the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. We had poolside bungalows that were very comfortable and spacious. Staff were all very pleasant and willing to provide service. The early morning coffee and toast were an added bonus to start the day.

A nice resort to stay at if you want to just relax . The rooms are a good size with a flat screen tv and decent beds.There is a large salt water pool and plenty of sun beds each with a mattress for comfort. If you have mobility problems this may not be for you as the local 7Eleven and the main shopping mall are a good 15 minutes walk. Tuk Tuks don’t seem to pass the resort to often but you can get them if you just walk up to the top of soi 88. Overall I had a great stay at La Or Resort and would certainly return again.

An oasis

La-or is 2 minutes tuk tuk ride from town which is excellent. The mini resort is quiet and well kept with chrystal clear swimming pool. Management responds well to all matters. Good restaurants nearby.

Beautiful oasis in central Hua Hin...easy walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, beach and sights.
Staff exceptional, looked after all our needs, assisted with retrieval of lost luggage.
Resort very clean, quiet location, friendly atmosphere.

Really nice relaxing hotel about 15 mins walk to the sea.The reception couldn't have been more welcoming .Simple breakfast toast coffee jams pastry etc which was a bonus.wifi free.thanks for a nice few days.

An oasis in the backstreets of Hua Hin

Travelling as a family with two young children, we really enjoyed our three nights stay at the La-or. The rooms are clean and spacious, and by clean I mean well above average clean for Thai resort standards. We really loved the pool too - sizable and very child friendly but with a deep end for adults.
The resort has a coffee service and toast in the mornings, and for other meals there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room came with a huge fridge with a freezer, so we had some meals of our own on the porch (bread, cheese, the usual Scandinavian stuff :) )
Going shopping, Village Market is somewhere between 10-30 minutes walk depending on who are walking (our kids needed a stop for ice cream along the way!). It is also possible to get a cheap tuk-tuk along the way, as they frequently roam the streets, looking for tourists.
All in all a very positive experience. We are likely to return to La-or.

La Or A OK

Stayed Just a few nights here to play golf in Hua hin. Really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are fine for the price. The hotel is a way from the beach but it's quiet and has a nice pool for sunbathing. The hotel owner has bikes for rent for 200 baht for 24 hrs, so getting about is easy peasy. Just 100 metres down the road is a little strip of restaurants and bars which I highly recommend.

Just booked from internet and was very surprised when I stayed that I'd made such a good choice ,,,,,, had one minor problem with the shower but this was almost instantly resolved by the ever friendly staff ..

The bungalows were clean and beautiful! The location is just really bad and taxis/tuk tuks are triple the price in Hua Hin compared to Bangkok, probably only for tourists, but it's a bit hot for a 25 min walk to the beach, unshaded in Hua Hin.

This is a new place I thought I would try. A little more expensive then where I usually like to stay, but worth it.
Private bungalow , open to small patio, open air. Better for me than a hotel style room.
Very nice staff. Many places close by for food, drink, laundry etc.

Good basic accommodation. Clean and quiet. Not first world but excellent for Thailand. Kleenex and hand towel and wash cloth would be a welcome addition. All the room is supplied with is one bath towel per guest. No pool towels either.

Great spot!

Only here for 4 nights with 9yr old daughter. Staff helpful to our requests and local info. Great pool. Clean rooms and while not in centre of town all nesecities including great outdoor food market are only short walk from hotel. Would do the same again..

Great Resort

Resort is ideal for any kind of stay, family's, couples, or single break. Rooms spacious and clean, pool clean and a good size. Only thing that was not ideal was that I found the bed too hard for my liking and was two singles pushed together rather than one double. Staff friendly and helpful, without being intrusive.

Familien som eier/ driver er veldig opptatt av at alle skal trives her

バスタオルのみでフェイスタオルはありません。
湯沸かし用のケトルはありません。
シャワーと便座の間になにも仕切るものがないため、シャワーのたびに便座が濡れます。
トイレに換気せんがありません。

Mukavan rauhallinen mökkikylä. Minulla yksinmatkaavalla halvin pikkumökki muutaman kymmenen metrin päässä allasalueelta. Kaikki päivittäinen siivous toimi. Nurkan takana paljonkin hyviä ruokapaikkoja ja muita biljardi baareja.

Es hat viele neue Bars direkt angrenzend gegeben. Vor 24 Uhr kann man nicht schlafen. Laute Musik mit dauernden Basstönen.

Ligger usjenert til og har et flott basseng og daglig rengjøring av boenheten om ønskelig.

值得深思的渡假飯店

飯店位置離市區及海灘有一大段距離，必須叫車前往，但是車資價差大，當心被騙。
飯店緊鄰小路，晚上還有很多車輛呼嘯而過，幾乎持續到凌晨，無法安靜休息。
房間空間狹窄，無書桌椅可用，若有大型行李箱的話，行動將更加困難。
房內多有蚊子，小孩子每天都被叮咬數處。
飯店內外都有狗隻，幾乎每晚都有群狗嚎叫打鬥，不宜在外逗留太晚，以免發生意外。

Det var en stor fornøjelse at opholde os på La-or. Et skønt svimmingpol i en passende størrelse så der var altid rigeligt med plads. Svimmingpolen var omkranset af skønne palmer af mange forskellige arter så det var en fryd både at bade men også sole sig i områder. Vi har kun ros tilovers for La-or det var en fornøjelse. Hytten levede helt op til forventningen sammenholdt med prisen.

mi spiace dover dare questa recensione negativa a questo piccolo resort. nel contesto la struttura è bella....ma è tutto il resto che lascia moooolto a desiderare.
all'arrivo, non ostante abbia avvisato che saremmo arrivati per le 22:00, Reception chiusa e il guardiano, se tale si può definire, non sapeva niente della nostra prenotazione.Contatta telefonicamente il proprietario e poi ci da le chiavi della prima camera che gli è capitato per le mani. Avrei avuto voglia di andarmene altrove, ma avendo già pagato non avevo voglia di ripagare una vacanza intera....però la struttura merita...le camere sono mooooolto spartane, lo stretto necessario...Ma la cosa che mi fa più imbestialire è stata la pulizia della camera, praticamente svuotavano il cestino del pattume, sistemavano il letto e cambiavano le asciugamani. finito...eppure erano in 3 a sistemare le camere...mai un cambio di lenzuola, mai una pulita per terra, neanche il pattume sul tavolino del terrazzo, lo trovavo li al ritorno dal mare....mi spiace dover dare questo brutto voto, ma in tanti hotel che ho visitato in Thailandia, questo è stato il più sporco....
