Hotel is in a good location with quite an imposing lobby area. It raises expectations which ultimately are not fully delivered. Bedrooms of good size with adequate en-suite. Pool is large therefore good….but very unimaginative in its setting. Breakfast area is pleasant and breakfast options neither the best or worst. The roof top bar seems permanently closed. And that’s the problem - it could offer more but it doesn’t. Felt like an empty mausoleum. Good value price though which makes it likely I will consider returning

Room was spotless, brilliant white sheets. All toiletries included, would have liked air dryer in the room, had to ask to borrow from reception. Also safety deposit box in reception. Was great to have a pool to relax in. Location excellent for walking into Hua Hun and food village, just watch the busy road, but you get the hang of getting across. Must try, self service Tops for a quick cheap beer or wine. Tops Bakery for breakfast excellent start for a day exploring. Loved Hun hin, a treat after our busy Bangkok break.

First of all the staff goes above and beyond to help you feel like family they take very good care of you. I enjoyed my stay. My room was very nice very clean. Must say everyone did a great job. Even the lady that cleaned my room really took care of me. The staff at the front desk. Anything I needed they would always there to help I will return and yes, it’s all about their staff there very nice make you feel like.

The view of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the backside was wonderful! Pool area was nice, gym was adequate, breakfast was varied and delicious, and staff were attentive and hospitable. One downside - ladybugs! They were everywhere outside. The windows in our room and a weird gap at the top of the sliding panes, allowing the ladybugs to enter our room. Annoying!

Had a great stay here as I was given a room higher up (15th floor). Stunning views all around. Excellent pool area, and breakfast buffet was good. The hot soups were the best part IMO. Coffee was okay. I recommend this hotel for the value and convenience. Very walkable to Village Market and to the beach. Staff was very accommodating throughout my 4 night stay.

Absolutely amazing service ! If I could give 6 stars I would , the manager to the staff just great ! Hotel is was really nice and convenient if you want to go to the beach ! Can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Grand ! I thought the location is very central.. to everything. A little noise at night. Not that bad.the staff was friendly. Buffet breakfast was good.. pool was large size.nice for swimming..Always service with a smile 😀. A week in Hua hin

The hotel was very clean and the room cleaned every morning , Breakfast was buffet stile and there was a good choice to choose from ranging from Thai breakfasts rice and currys to western Breakfast eggs bacon toast fruits . The hotel is next to a hospital and there is a constant arrival of amberlances . The area is ok but all restaurants cash only no credit card

This hotel is in a great location close to shops, bars and the beach. The Hua Hin Market Village shopping centre, beach and railway station are all within about 10 minutes' walk.

Staff are friendly and the hotel has a nice swimming pool.

My hotel check-in experience was marred by two significant issues. Firstly, the front desk staff member appeared overwhelmed, leaving my passports unattended in the scanner. This oversight caused considerable anxiety and could have had serious consequences. While the issue was eventually resolved, the initial negligence was unacceptable.
Secondly, the hotel failed to deliver on the promised taxi service. After retrieving my luggage, I waited in the arrival hall for 15 minutes without any guidance from the hotel regarding the designated pickup location. This lack of communication forced me to arrange alternative transport, resulting in an unexpected $100 THB gas fee.

These incidents collectively point to poor hotel management and raise concerns about the establishment's suitability for listing on Expedia.

Only intended to stay one night but ended up staying three. Had the deluxe room with king bed. Bed was huge and wonderfully comfortable. Room could do with more power points but that is a common complaint. Good pool. Slick reception. Fast lifts. Shuttle to beach if lazy. Walking distance to station. Lots of ticked boxes.

This is a 3 star hotel. The internet connection in reception was good ,But terrible in our room kept dropping out and so unreliable The pool was lovely as were most of the staff . It is in quite a good position in Hua hin . We were on a high floor but it is near a main road and so tragic noise ( especially the amount of emergency vehicles noise )

1 The room description includes a safe. There was none, so I went to discuss with reception. They said safe here in reception, which is not what the listing specifies. After haggling, eventually a room safe was provided.
2 The wifi worked only about 30% of the time, even afted I contacted reception. Other Thai hotels have good wifi.
3 Uncomfortable bed, with nasty synthetic sheets. However, they are clean.
4 The hotel guests are mostly quiet older people, but the rooms come with a very thin connecting door to the adjacent room, so you can hear everything.
5 Well done for having a bath, but the water is not warm enough
I have stayed in Thai hotels for 600 baht a night where everything works better thsn here.

위치 좋고 시설 나쁘지않고 가격대비 괜찮은 호텔이고 프런데스크에서 일하는 직원들은 친절하지만 방 청소부나 수영장 관리 직원들은 문제가 많아 보인다. 16층에서 4박을 묵었는데 같은층(내 방에서 두개 건너) 유럽인들이 묵는 방들은 오전에 청소가 되지만 내방은 오전 9시쯤 방청소해달라는 싸인을 걸어놓고 나갔다 오후 2시쯤 와도 청소가 되어있지 않아 매일 청소부에게 직접 청소를 해달라고 얘기해야 했다. 수영장과 피트니스룸을 관리하는 직원은 정말 가관이다. 유럽인들이 와서 수건을 가져갈때는 일어나서 수건을 직접 챙겨주고 야외 베드까지 가져다 주며 케너피도 쳐준다. 나를 포함한 동양인이 수건을 가지러가면 처다보지도 않는다. 피트니스룸의 에어컨을키는 리모트컨트롤이 안보이길래 에어컨을 켜달라고 했더니 싱경질 적인 행동으로 룸에서 스위치를 올려 켜주고는 째려보고 간다. 도저히 역겨워 참을수 없어 따졌더니 손을 절래절래 흔들며 영어를 못한다는 표현을 한다. 4박을 묵으며 느낀 전반적인 호텔의 분위기는 유럽인들을 위한 호텔로 보인다. 그리고 확실한 증거는 없지만 방에 금고가 없어 북백에 넣어두얶던 한국돈 25만원이 없어졌다. 혹시라도 손을 탄게 아닌가 하는 의심이 든다.

Lovely quiet night market next to the hotel, not too far away from the busy big market. Beach isn’t too far away. You can tel this used to be the place to stay but it has aged over the years. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms represent a 3* hotel. Very good for the price and location.

Good hotel with points to be considered.

This hotel is a big hotel and is very comfortable in all areas.
Good location, efficient staff but breakfast buffet service has deteriorated in the past 12 months probably due to the hotel now having large numbers of Chinese Group Travel. Sadly this has blighted the all round atmosphere of the hotel as these groups can be irritating and without social etiquette.
A thought worth considering before booking.

It must of have been \"GRAND\" and luxurious in its prime. Huge room, ocean view, good location and close to the night market (there's a smaller night market adjacent to the property. In its current state, the price rate reflects the 3 star rating and a great value. Staff is friendly and personable which is a bonus. Booked through Hotwire and breakfast was an added bonus. Thx

Place looks good from the outside but This hotel needs a serious upgrade on the Rooms and Lifts. At this today's world of hospitality this hotel is behind 5 years to 10 years in the amenities provided. And washroom needs serious upgrade as non of taps are functioning properly.

Stayed during the off season so room rate was discounted significantly. Value excellent when compared to other hotels. Little worn could need some renovating. Large,ground level pool. Excellent staff, very honest. Had a senior moment, accidentally leaving my wallet on a chair in the lobby of the hotel. Door man found it and gave it to the main desk. Immediately they went out of their way to find me. Significant amount of money credit cards etc remained untouched when I retrieved it -- very honest, thank you.

We booked another night here as it was in the perfect location. Close to the beach and shops and restaurants. Hotel is old but the price is good and staff friendly. Breakfast was not that great but we survived. Ask for a room at from the 10th floor up and you can have an amazing view of the surrounding area.

Easy to find next to night market but still quiet

Typical Thai style hotel,a little bit tired but nice & clean rooms comfy big bed friendly Staff always helpful wi fi was ok plenty of tuk tuk taxis at end of road would take you anywhere & recommend places to go or eat they would fix price & even pick you back up &'they were cheap the hotel was excellent value for the money would recommend it
