The location is excellent and the staff overall very good. The room was good given the price. Clean and spacious, typical rock hard Thai bed. Biggest disappointment was the pool which was not at all inviting and lacked shaded area

We stayed at the loft for 7 days in March of 2026, from the start it was a bad experience, the staff couldn't speak a word of English, we could not open the door to our room, so we had to ask the staff to help us, when we went back down to the lobby the girl behind the counter was asleep, she asked the bell boy to fix the door who was also asleep on his chair, the room was disgusting, we cleaned it, the there was water dripping out of the AC vent, and it was so loud you couldn't carry a conversation with anyone in your room, and you di need AC as its never cold there, we actually started looking around for other accommodation. Oh the breakfast is sorry to say crap! Its 3 pots and toast, I want to make this clear, I am not nit picking, I would rther stay at back packers over the loft. One last thing, the WiFi is none existent.

The price reflected the status of the property. That being said…. The A/C was cold. Smoking was allowed on balcony. Breakfast was filling. Hotel and rooms were clean. To update would most likely also include higher prices. Staff was friendly. Parking was about 150 yards from property and could hold about 10 cars. I did not actually count the possible parking spots. Most Hua Hin related touristy places within walking distance.

Good location, friendly staff. The room was big with a spacious balcony. The hotel was well appointed with good air con ,comfy bed and clothes washing available. Overall the facilities were better than average and excellent value for money.
The surroundings were quiet apart from the nearby girly bar soi 80. However I couldn't hear the music from my room. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
The breakfast however was extremely disappointing with bland, cold offerings and weak coffee. Much better to cross the soi out front and get excellent local fare for way less than the hotel was charging

For a budget priced hotel,we found this hotel more than satisfactory.
The bed was comfortable,and we had a huge balcony with a view of the .mountains.

Management are nowhere to be seen staffs attitude not good as none can speak English if I were you Expedia are remove them off ur list . The hotel is surrounded by massive building works on 2 sides. Lots of noise. WiFi was poor and didn’t work for 12 hours. The rooftop pool was drained and in a poor state and the whole hotel felt very run down.
It is the first bad hotel I have booked through Expedia. Very disappointed and warnings should be given to anyone looking to stay here.

Convenient hotel near rail station.

Hotel is located five minutes walk from the railway station although a little difficult to find as it is located in a small side street..
Walking distance to the beach, night market and the main areas of Hua Hin.
The hotel has seen better days and management is trying to keep costs down. Even charges 20 baht for a coffee/tea pack which is in your room. Towels and linen are well worn and bathroom items low cost.
Breakfast OK and staff helpful. Rooms are large.
If you want a reasonably priced hotel in a good location and are only staying two or three days then the hotel would be suitable.

The hotel is getting a little old. The hot water for the shower is not very hot. Had a good reception from staff on arrival and cleaning staff friendly.The staff at reception do not take any interest in my comings and goings, but are helpful if I approach them. Breakfast just about adequate. The hotel is approached down an ally about 50 metres and is lit at night. But I would night care to walk further down the alley at night. I would not feel safe.Room is large and reasonably comfortable with a balcony. Small pool on the roof. Not bad value for the price.

Staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was large, clean, and spacious with a great balcony and view. My only complaint was the condition of the bathroom. The water heater was hard to use and didn't work well, and the in-wall hair dryer didn't work at all. A few upgrades to the bathroom and this place would be good to go!

the location is a bit remoted as along the streets, might not have lit lamps and would be dangerous as it is an one way lane. We are locked outside our room after returning from our day activities. One of the room service staff helped us to open the room and informed that the lock is spoilt and will repair tomorrow. We did not think much as we only staying for a night.
Upon checking out, the counter staff wanted to charge us for coffee last night (which we did not even ordered). Breakfast provided by the hotel, is limited and each person can only request for 2 eggs!!

Reasonably priced and well located. 5-8 minute walk to nightlife area and 5-8 more to beach. Don't know if all rooms are without hot water for showers but mine had only cold. Rooms are nice and big. Hotel was likely first rate when new but is a little dated. Could use some updates.

Good location

A little 'Tired'

This hotel is nice but I found all features a little bit 'tired', there has clearly been no effort whatsoever into modernisation but even a little bit of change to things such as the curtains/bedding/towels would make a big difference. Staff were very nice and it is only a very short walk for bars and restaurants.

Budget hotel in Hua Hin

Clean older hotel 10 minutes walk to beach. Walking distance to other attractions, shopping, night market. Several golf courses nearby. Hua Hin a locals weekend destination, lots of Thai families. Not a nightlife destination. Many excellent seafood restaurants in Hua Hin.
Good AC, fast wifi. Older mattress. Big room. Nice balcony, unfortunately no great view. Simple breakfast offerings. No hot water, but Hua Hin can be hot... cooling shower can be good.

Hua Hin Loft Review

Only see one staff at the lobby and reception. The lobby staff is very helpful indeed.
Never see any swimming pool like that . if with proper management , the roof top swimming pool can really add points to it.
Breakfast is of normal quality and monotonous type daily.
Potential to improve facilities and comfortableness stay .

Hotel is located in a residential street which woiuld be quiet enough but there is a karaoke restaurant next door that goes until early in the morning. Also the airconditioner was extremely noisy. No free tea/coffee. Jug available (packets available to pay for) Even if you dont have your room cleaned, they will leave free bottles of water at your door. That is good. Room very large with large balcony. Rooftop area and pool in ruin, and looks like it has never been used for many years. They could at least clean up the roof top area to make it presentable. However the big attraction with this hotel is the low price. It is walking distance to the main town centre. If you like 2.5 star accom. at a very good price, and bring your ear plugs, then this is for you.

Stay here only for the location!

Book for 2 night's here and spend less than 14hrs in room. Arrive here and find that the hotel is an tiny building without any carpark, was told to park at another commercial building carpark 50m away or along an alley. Lobby is small but check in was fast & staff are polite and always smiling.
Family room with balcony is old & furniture outdated. Bathroom is very bare and everything is basic,... it seems I have gone back in time. We spend the next 2 days out most of the time, coming back only to sleep for 6-8 hours. Breakfast is pathetic, area is small, food ain't refilled, cold coffee....
The only plus about this hotel is the central location.

Everything was adequate but might be worth spending a few pounds more for the next level of hotel. Generally a bit shabby and run down. Lots of noise from local bar, local dogs and railway. Good rooftop shade and dipping pool. Internet was frustratingly sporadic. Good maid service, breakfast was eggs and toast and instant coffee. Cookery course was great, vineyard trip was pricey but a unique experience. Good night market and cicado market fri-sun was worth a look with great food stalls.

we met a rude female receptionist during the day of check out which is a total disaster. We was being charged 50 bacts for consuming 2 bottles of their mineral water. In fact, we did not drink it. We just drank the complimentary water provided by the hotel. We explained to the receptionist in a proper manner but we received very rude service from her. She raised up her voice and keep blaming us for not paying after drank the mineral water. In the end, we paid for it as it is just 50bacts after all. A reputable hotel wont bear the risk of losing his customer for just a penny.

4 x nights spent at Citin Loft. Comparatively expensive but Hua Hin is a tourist area. Beach poor and unimpressive. Last night spoilt by noisy neighbour and again at 0130.

Staff OK a bit slow to respond to complaint but this is Thailand.

Great hotel, with two caveats

I liked almost everything about this hotel. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was above average, and the shuttle service was great (they would take us to our destination, even though it was off the main route). However, there are no drawers in the rooms, so our stuff was basically piled on the couch and counter. And the pool is a LOT smaller than it looks in the pictures, and is not well-maintained. If you're looking to relax by the pool instead of going to the beach, you will be disappointed. But in every other respect, the hotel is great. I would stay there again.

The hotel is in a pretty good location, its a short walk to the beach, but that is full of stingers, and the pool at the hotel was under maintenance. However there are some good restaurants and markets fairly close and its only a ten minute walk from the train station. Very clean and friendly.

Great location but...

You don't stay at Citin for the rooftop pool. The water was opaque green. You don't stay for the 5-star amenities. CItin is not 5-star by any measures. But if you want a very cheap hotel that's comfortable and in a great location it's hard to beat. On Hua Hin Soi 78 it's right off the main street and easily walking distance to the beach and train station. Frequent buses can take you quickly to the Night Market or the Shopping Mall. The room was basic but comfortable. The King-size bed was 2 twins pushed together. The shower was huge but drainage fair. The AC worked but was very loud in a white-noise sort-of-way. The breakfast better than other low-end places with choices more than coffee and croissants. In all, for the price, very acceptable.

A good hotel for everyone

I found this hotel excelent value for money. The staff we're very friendly and helpful. The rooms we're very comfertable and cleaned every day. The breakfast was very good. The only thing which was dissapointing was the swimming pool. It was ok but they never cleaned it very well, otherwise its a good hotel and very close to everything.

The room was large and spacious with a good size balcony. Bed was 2 single pushed together so could not sleep in the middle. Accident with couple of towels and was given a way over priced bill. Manager was very helpful and I was able to go out and buy new ones for 3rd of the price. Its a nice hotel and most staff were friendly beside one at front desk during the day with wierd eye who had attitude. The tuk tuk service is never running

Location, value and clean.

Great location having only a 10 minute walk from train station, beach and the clock tower where we caught the bus down to Ko Tao. Very hard bed, laundry service was great, breakfast was a good value for the basics, and we enjoyed the ocean view from the tiny rooftop terrace pool. If you spend as little time in your room as we do it is a great value.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, spacious, clean, facing the mountain view. There was free WiFi that worked well. The location was good: only 5-10 minute walk to the beach, night market, railway station and a lot of restaurants.
Breakfast was very simple but adequate for me. There was a charge for tea or coffee in the room which was strange. Drink prices in the room were reasonable. There was a large fridge in the room. No microwave. No iron in the hotel. Many 7-11 shops nearby for all your needs. Internet cafe 2 minutes from the hotel.

I will recommend this hotel for the budget traveller.

Spacious rooms, close to beach, downtown and the train station. Good service, front desk staff spoke decent english. Entrance is up a backstreet but no problems. Nice restaurants nearby and close to 7-Eleven and a bigger supermarket. A great place to spend your time in Hua Hin!

The hotel was clean and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Many restaurants, stores, and massage places nearby. Elephant Hutsadin Foundation only 15 minutes tuk tuk ride away. The wifi signal was very weak in the room.

Good hotel

For the price you are getting a good, clean hotel in a location close to all the local amenities.
The compromise is very slow Internet, pool (out of order) and a basic breakfast.
If these are not critical to your comfort then I would recommend this hotel.
The staff are reasonably friendly too.

Citin Loft Hua Hin - OK location but no pool

We chose this hotel because of its location, price AND the advertised fact that it had a pool. Upon check-in, we learned the (roof-top) pool was closed for \"maintenance\". On day 2, we went up to the pool to see if we might learn how long the pool would be closed. There was no one working on the pool nor any signs of any recent pool-work. The plastic pool liner was tattered, hanging from the edges and it was pretty obvious the swimming pool had not been operational in quite some time. The morning breakfast is nothing to jump up and down about either. None the less, the hotel is not bad. Like most hotels I've stayed at Thailand, the staff was very friendly!!

Nice hotel - shame about the pool !

This is a 3 star hotel in the centre of hua hin. it is clen and well managed with spacious rooms and a balcony. if you are a train enthusiast you can see the station and trains in the distance and can walk from the station to the hotel in 5 mins. 10 mins walk to the beach and 20 mins walk to a shopping centre. The only gripe really was that the hotel pool was still out of action and has been for some time - not good for a seaside hotel. Service was good and the breakfast was adequate.

The rooms are pretty nice and but but the room I had was equipped with a very noisy AC which made sleeping very difficult.

We arrived in January in 2012 and when we checked in we was informed that the swimming pool was out for service in 4 weeks.

Generally its a okay hotel but I think you can find better at the same cost in Hua Hin

Just recent stay, found that the locate near the beach area as walking distance (1km) . shopping centre (Village Market) about 10-15 mins walk.
disappointed as the pool renovation.
Hotel can be seen along the main road, and transport back to bangkok is also nearby.

An average hotel

I think this hotel is pretty good, just a little pricey. The room was big and the bathroom was nice. There was a huge cockroach in the room on our first night, but oh well.. I think there were some bed bugs in my bed too.. Otherwise the breakfast is OK and the swimming pool on the roof is pretty awesome with nice views from up there. It's not far from city centre or the beach and it also offers free internet. I would stay there again.

Great value for the money

The hotel is located in the city with the about 15 min walk to the beach - shuttle service to/from the beach from the hotel (morning and afternoon).
The room was quite nice with aircon that actually worked!!
Very helpful staff.
All in all a pleasent experience and recommendable for those who doesn't mind that the location of the hotel isn't on the beach.

cheap hotel close to the train station

We stayed at this hotel because our train from Surat Thani got in quite late at 1am, and it was a 10 minute walk from the station. The hotel was a decent 2.5 star hotel with a reasonable breakfast (eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, bread, tea/coffee juice) and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel room was also fine and was cleaned when asked.

We were able to walk to the night markets in about 10-15 minutes and the same to the harbour. It's also the same distance to Market Village, the big shopping center nearby.

Great friendly staff...close to the train station, night market, beach etc. No complaints at all except the pool was not what I expected. Very small.....but I don't spend much time at the pool anyway, and it's probably designed just too cool you off.

Good budget hotel, I would use again.

Great for location, comfortable rooms, very clean. I did not try the food after reading bad reviews on here but as for the rest of the hotel I thought it was great for the price we paid. All staff were helpful and I had a very pleasant trip. If I had to be really picky about anything, maybe the bathroom fittings were a bit old and the shower lacked much power, but hey, they were still better than most budget hotels I've stayed in.

Good location, great service and friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There are only 2 things the hotel need to improve:
1. The internet was very slow
2. The scheduled hotel shuttle-service was not reliable as announced on the website.
Otherwise everything was just perfect.

Acceptable budget hotel, with a few issu

This is a basic budget hotel that might suit your needs. It offers free internet, large clean rooms with a big fridge, a very modest breakfast, and a free shuttle to the beach twice a day. The location is OK, since it's on the songtao line and is within a comfortable walking distance of the night market. We probably wouldn't stay here again (unless we got a great price), however, because there were too many annoyances: (a) bed was uncomfortable, (b) elevator doors tried to crush us several times, until fear drove us to develop coping strategies, (c) the internet went in and out several times during our stay (out about 10% of the time), (d) the shower went from too hot to too cold (rarely at a comfortable temperature). I'd add that if you're looking for a beach, there are MUCH better options in Thailand.

Excellent Value. Very attractive and comfortable room. Very good staff. No complaints at all. Would stay at this hotel or Citin Lodge elsewhere. Only drawback, not near beach, but free shuttle available from hotel.

Good Value for Money

The Citin Loft was good value for the price and as expected for a 3 star property. The bathroom is small but shower a good size. Balcony was nice with wooden furniture to relax when the weather was nice. The rooftop pool is quite small and no shade in that area. Breakfast was ok and the staff friendly and helpful. One of the security guards was very nice and always smiling and happy which was nice when you coming and going. Similar to other Citin properties it is just off the beaten path and a short walk to the main road. Nothing really by the hotel but close to walk into town for anything you want an a 7-11 nearby. No real complaints for the price and would return depending on the price versus other similar properties.

convenient location

the location of the hotel is great, its quiet and yet near to the night market and shopping centre and the beach. The room is rather sizeable and comfortable. Its certainly value for money.
